The tasting experience was fantastic! They were professional and so nice and gave us just the right balance of attention and time to talk. All of the flavors we tried were so good too!
The cake was amazing on the day as well! Our only regret was not asking our venue staff to set aside slices of all the flavors for us to have later.

We used Montillio's for our wedding cake and WOW. The cake was so good. I regret not eating more during our wedding! We did Vanilla Bean and Chocolate with a top tier of Red Velvet that we brought home to eat the next day and it was unreal. The guests loved it!
The tasting was low key and so easy. We got to try all the flavors to choose and then design our cake. Getting in contact with them after was easy. The cake was the exact vision I wanted!
While we did flowers through our florist for decor, they do offer florals they can add for you.

Delicious, beautiful cakes!!!
Our wedding cake was amazing both in style and in taste! We did our tasting at the Montilio’s located in Jordan’s Furniture in Avon, MA and we had a great experience where we got to try several different flavors of cake that were all delicious! We had settled on 3 flavors: Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Tuxedo, & Funfetti. Our guests ended up loving each and every one! For our cake order, we got a traditional 3-tier cake that was “Abstract Palette” with touches of white and blue and then we ordered kitchen sheet cake for the rest of the guests. We ordered cake for 150 guests and had approximately 180 at our wedding and only had one sheet cake and some extra slices leftover because our guests loved it so much and were taking it home in to-go boxes! Highly recommend working with Montilio’s as they were easy to communicate with during the planning process and how they make the most delicious cakes!

We ordered 2 cakes with montillios tiramisu and JFK, they both tasted AMAZING. They were beautiful as well. I recommend ordering under the guest count for slices, unless you like leftovers like us (sweet tooths over here!!)

A great company for your wedding needs! We got a small cake for cutting and cupcakes for the guests. Thankfully they had a large tasting for us before making a decision because we never really had time to eat during the wedding. The taste and look were great! Guests loved them! Montilio's has the most beautiful and delicious wedding cakes! We were recommended to them through our venue and could not be more pleased with our experience. We went through Montillios for our wedding cake. The tasting was super easy and fun. The woman we worked with was helpful and friendly and helped us through designing our cake. We specifically chose Montillios because of their gluten-free options. We tried a few other places and theirs was by far the best. It wasn’t just a good glute-free cake, it was good cake. The process after designing our cake was easy and the price was very reasonable given the size of the cake. They worked flawlessly with our venue, and everything came out perfectly.

Montillio's did a great job with our wedding cake as well as groom's cake. They brought our vision to life and required very little direction. We provided the aesthetic inspiration and they ran with it. The BEST wedding cake!
We had the best experience with designing our wedding cake here! We were able to choose three different flavors as we wanted to provide a variety of choices to our guests. Each tier was a different flavor. The cake was absolutely stunning and of course tasted amazing. They were also very responsive whenever I had questions regarding our cake and allowed us to taste test earlier than normal since we were a destination wedding. We’d definitely recommend getting your cake at Montillo’s! The design was beautiful and the cake was delicious. They were great to work with - we added gluten free cupcakes late in the process for some of our guests with dietary restrictions and they made this add-on so so easy. We went to taste many different options to decide what we liked the best. To make things more interesting, my bride has a gluten allergy so we needed to have her cake be GF. The tastings this were all GF which at times I am not a fan. Let me tell you the GF cake was the most delicious GF product I ever had. When I had the “normal” cake… so delicious! The artistry of the frosting was beautiful. What a fabulous compliment on our special day!

Exceeded our expectations for a Wedding Cake
Montilio's Bakery created a beautifully classic cake for our winter wedding at the Omni Parker House. We had a wonderful consultation and chose two very different and fun flavors for the cake itself, but we were absolutely astonished at how beautiful, clean, and timeless the outside final design was when we saw it on our wedding day. It was exactly what we wanted! It beautifully coordinated with the heirloom cake toppers my grandfather allowed us to use for the wedding. Our cake cutting photos ended up being some of our favorite ones from the evening, and we look forward to enjoying our top tier this time next year! We are very grateful to the talented bakers at Montilios!

The apple spice cake was absolutely amazing and the white and chocolate were also moist and delicious.
The decorating was exactly what we talked through at our meeting and it came out even better than we expected! We also went with a dessert bar with assorted small pastries, cannolis and mini cheesecakes.

We were so happy with the results from Montilio's! They are extremely responsive and organized. Our cake was included in the cost of our venue, and our venue gave us several bakeries to choose from. Montilio's blew the other options out of the water! Days before our cake tasting, I lost my taste due to Covid, but Montilio's was very accomodating in finding us a new appointment. We also had frosting flowers put on our cake. When the woman running our tasting asked what color we wanted for the flowers, I responded "purple." What I did not expect was when she took out a Benjamin Moore paint sample with hundreds (if not thousands) of colors to choose from! Yes, they are that detailed. It was amazing. The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. We live pretty far from Montilio's, but are planning to trek back soon to buy some more dessert. Seriously, they are that delicious!

Montilios was one of the preferred vendors for our venue. After sampling their Champy cake at a wedding expo we knew that they would be making our wedding cake.
We met with Elissa from the Braintree store. She was in incredibly accommodating,professional and such a sweetheart to work with. We still cannot believe how beautiful our cake was. We had 3 flavors Italian olive oil,Champy and chocolate. It was absolutely delicious and moist and all of our guests are still asking us about it. Taking Cake Dreams To New Heights!
Our package with our wedding venue included a cake from one of three partnering bakeries, Montilio's being one of them. They were at the top of our list from the beginning as both my parent's and a family friend had used them for their wedding cakes, but after our tasting we were completely sold. So much so that we cancelled our other 2 tastings.
We met the team at DeScenza's in Peabody where we tasted at least 12 different cake flavors, all of which were delicious. After chatting with the tasting lead, we decided to move forward with a 6in cutting cake and a dessert bar complete with cake pops, mini assorted pastries and whoopie pies.
After a few weeks, I decided to order two additional surprise cakes for my groom. They were able to add these to my order without any issues and were very affordable! Brides: let me tell you - if you have a crazy ideas with any of your wedding planning just do it because you will not regret it! Our 'spirit animals' cakes were a HIT at the wedding. They were as delicious as they were adorable!

They were part of the venue package we selected and it was so nice to know they coordinated everything with the venue and we could just relax and wait to see our cake at the reception after we had our tasting and chose our flavors. They customized the design to match what we wanted and it really was delicious. We had many compliments. Highly recommend them.

We loved working with Montilio’s Bakery! They were able to create a beautiful display of cupcakes for our wedding in September, not to mention they were delicious. Montilio's was amazing! When my (then) fiance and I went for our tasting, well ahead of our September wedding, we were blown away with the endless possibilities Montilio's offered. We loved their samples so much, we decided to go with FOUR different cake options for our guest! All of the guests were raving how each of the cakes were so delicious that they all had multiple pieces to be sure to try them all. The only "snafu" was that a few days before the wedding there was some confusion with the size of the cake and the decor. It would've been better to have addressed this prior to days before the wedding, however the details were sorted out and the cake was JUST as we had envisioned! Thank you so much for making our first dessert as Mr. & Mrs. just as we imagined.

We had a three-tier wedding cake and chose different flavors for each. We are so grateful we were able to taste all three. They were delicious! The chocolate was the biggest surprise...some chocolate cakes can be overwhelming and "too chocolaty". Theirs is not! We highly recommend the olive oil cake - it was our top tier which we had for breakfast the morning after the wedding. (We will order a fresh one for our first anniversary!)
The design was exactly what we had discussed during our original consultation; we even received a call a few days before the wedding to confirm. The service was top notch.

Montilio’s Wedding Cake
My Cake was not only beautiful, it was absolutely delicious. My guests raved about the cake. We had 3 tiers, 3 different flavors, and they were all so good! We did bottom layer vanilla with white chocolate mousse filling, middle layer was chocolate with chocolate mousse filling, and the top was Italian Olive Oil cake. The cake was gone! Everybody loved it. And it was exactly the look I wanted!

Montilios helped me put together the most amazing cake for my wedding. They staff was very patient with me trying to decide what style and flavors I should go with. And my guests thought it was delicious. We did a confetti cake for one layer and my sister and girlfriends that joined me for the tasting loved the chantilly, we added that as another.

Loved our wedding cake!
My husband and I had a great time at our cake tasting, and are very happy we went with Montilio's for our wedding cake! We had a 4 tier cake, and chose to do a different flavor on each layer: Chantilly Cake, Chocolate Cannoli Cake, Marble Cake, and Carrot Cake. All the flavors were so delicious, and our cake was beautiful. Montilio's was easy to work with, and very responsive to emails. They even let us take home any uneaten cake from our tasting!

Wonderful customer service, beautiful cake
Our cake tasting was wonderful. We were given multiple options and given recommendations based on our wants and needs. A month before the wedding when we realized our cake wasn’t big enough for the number of guests we had, a 5 minute conversation had the issue resolved. They delivered the cake quickly and let the other vendors do their work. Our cake looked exactly like what we wanted and tasted even more delicious- we opted for the tuxedo and champy flavors, and both were amazing.

Best. Cake. Ever.
My husband and I had a transformative experience at Montilio’s and honestly? We cannot say enough about how incredible an experience we had working with them for our wedding. For our very first tasting, we ended up at a different bakery (Konditor Meister) and it was AWFUL. The coffee was cold, the creamer was curdled, and every single cake tasted exactly the same (dry and tasteless) with thick, slimy frosting that was flat in taste. We knew that that could NOT be how we left things on the first day we went tasting so we called up Montilio’s. Not only were they able to set up a tasting that day, but it was also like stepping into a totally other reality. Upon our arrival, we were offered (hot and tasty!) coffee and tea, and then we met our consultant. Sue was incredible. She was so excited to meet and work with us, explaining how we could customize each cake and taking every request in stride. She thrilled with us when we explained that we wanted to do cupcakes and a small cake for cutting, and offered ideas for flavors and decoration. She brought over a plethora of cake samples and oh my god - the cake, the cake! Each cake was moist, delicious, and bursting with flavor. And each cake tasted totally different! Decadent champagne and strawberries, rich apple spice, sweet and tangy lemon - it was so hard to choose. Each step of the way we got to work with kind and knowledgeable people who really seemed to care about our choices, our budget, and our happiness. Geeky cupcakes? No problem! During a time when everything can be super stressful, the cake was easy, delicious, and surprisingly affordable (seriously). We even ran into the owner at our venue later and he was just as kind as his employees, showing that this is definitely the kind of company that cares about people. The whole process was joyous from start to finish and the day of the wedding, the cake was absolutely delicious! We cannot recommend Montilio’s enough - they will make the most incredible cake for your celebration and help to make your day that much more special!

Amazing cake, poor tasting experience
The cake and cupcakes we had at our wedding were amazing! So many of our guests comments on how delicious they were and one even plans to use Montilios for their wedding next year. We had a negative experience at the tasting, as we had to wait over 40 minutes and did not even receive an apology. But the cake was so good that we went with them anyway and were glad we did.

Montillio’s gave us the perfect cake for our wedding! We went into their Braintree shop to do our cake tasting, and while there were a ton of delicious options, we decided on two different flavors (the bottom and top tier were the same, with a different flavor for the second tier): a champagne white cake with a white chocolate mousse filling with fresh strawberries, and an olive oil cake. We loved them both so much, we couldn’t pick just one! We opted for a simple flat spatula design for the white buttercream frosting on the outside and no cake topper or any other kinds of flourish (our florist added a few white roses and greenery to their tiers instead). It was simple, elegant, and absolutely perfect for our big day. The quality is amazing, and we left our wedding with the top of our cake meticulously packaged in a Montillio’s-branded box to bring home and enjoy. Our plan is to come back next year for our 1 year anniversary to order a small cake in the same flavor as our topper to celebrate the occasion. Thank you, Montillio’s!

Montilio's was amazing to work with. They were in constant contact with me on any questions they had regarding my cake. When we went in for our cake taste testing the samples were unbelievable, there were so many flavors that we enjoyed tasting and they were so accommodating with anything we needed. I ended up wanting to create my own flavor and Montilio's was very accommodating with me on that too. The made the most incredible tasting wedding cake, it was exactly what I asked for. People were talking about it week after my wedding (saying they were still "dreaming" about my cake). I was thrilled that my collaboration with Montilio's created the perfect cake for my wedding day. I am so grateful for Montilio's and I will definitely be ordering that cake again! In my opinion, Montilio's is the best choice for wedding cakes.

Thank you so much for the perfect wedding cake for our special day! We got married at 8/18/18 at Primavera Restaurant and we found Montiio's because it was one of the prefered vendors for our venue. We are so happy we chose them. The cake looked picture perfect and tasted delicious. They even customized the cake layers for us. The special cannoli layer was a huge hit! With every piece of cake they included ice cream and a little strawberry that was dressed up like a tuxedo. It was adorable. I was stopped in my tracks when I first saw our cake displayed on the dance floor! It looked absolutely incredible and tasted amazing! My guests wouldn't stop raving about it! I was very pleased!! Our cake from Montilio's was included in our package from Granite Links and we upgraded a bit to make it exactly how we wanted. They were even able to use a swatch from my bridesmaid dresses to make the perfect match for the watercolor on the base tier! Our wedding package at Tewksbury Country Club included dessert from one of three preferred vendors. I saw a donut wall at a wedding expo and knew we HAD to have that at our wedding. After asking all three bakery vendors if they made donuts, Montilios was the only bakery that could follow through with our idea. We went for a tasting as enjoyed too much cake and donuts. We chose the presidential cake as our small wedding cake, and we picked a variety of donuts to display on our donut wall. When we asked about cereal toppings on the donuts, Montilios response was, “I don’t think we’ve done that before, but I don’t see why we couldn’t”, and they made it work! Our cake was amazing, and our donut wall was a huge hit! Thank you Montilios for going along with our crazy ideas- Highly recommended!

We had a six-tiered wedding cake that had six different flavors, which we designed. The cake was gorgeous and equally if not more important, delicious! Our guests has so much fun trying the different flavors and we loved it so much that when my groom and I got home, we broke into our "top." We barely had a bite at the wedding, and simply couldn't resist! After much consideration about where to get our cake from, my now husband and I went to Montillio's for a tasting. The tasting was amazing and all of the flavors of cake were delicious. Elissa was so helpful when I couldn't quite explain the cake design that I wanted. She pulled out photo albums and was even on the internet trying to find the perfect design that I had in my head. On the wedding day, delivery went very smoothly and people can't stop talking about the cake. They said it was the best cake they had ever had at a wedding and were so happy with all the flavors! ( We chose chocolate, funfetti, vanilla with raspberry filling and a fourth chocolate tier). I am beyond thrilled with how everything turned out and what a great job Montillio's did!

I am the third generation in my family to use Montilio's for our wedding cake and I am happy to say that after more than 70 years, they still live up to their reputation! First off, the cakes that we sampled were incredible! We were given 10 different cake samples offering a wide array of their many flavor options. The consultants and other staff members were extremely helpful and patient with choosing and narrowing down flavors. They were also very conscious of making sure I was able to stay within my desired budget while still getting my dream wedding cake. I would absolutely recommend Montilio's to anyone planning their wedding.

From the very start, this bakery felt like I was coming home to my grandmothers and eating some of her home made goods. This bakery made our cake for our wedding last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! The cake was so moist and flavorful and my father whose a chef was impressed. We can not wait until our 1 year so we can order a small cake ourselves because it was THAT GOOD! but we will be in much sooner than that to enjoy their wonderful baked goods! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a delicious cake! Not too sweet and just the right amount of love baked in!

We did one layer cake & mini cupcakes. Very accommodating to the look and flavors we wanted. Supplied the cupcake tier for us too.

Our cake was so delicious and actually came in under budget! We got the presidential cake with raspberry and the chocolate on chocolate and everyone raved about how delicious it was! They gave us a tip to do half a kitchen cake in the back which saved us about $150! I have since gone back to Montilio's several times and I am now addicted to their cakes! The carrot cake is my all time favorite! They were also very nice and responsive during the planning process and everything came out beautiful!

Our cake was the most gorgeous wedding cake we have ever seen! Our vision was a night sky and they nailed it! Our guests could not stop talking about the cake. I let out an audible scream when I saw it. It was stunning. And it was absolutely delicious! So grateful for Montilios and can't wait to eat the top layer in a year!

My husband Bruce and I got married on May 27, 2017 at The Miraval Ballroom in East Bridgewater. The package we chose included a cake budget from Montilio's bakery which was wonderful considering we had no idea where to start! It took us a while to set up an appointment with Montilio's as the cake wasn't exactly our first priority, but the consultation went so smoothly when we finally made it in. The wedding department was so friendly and welcoming and explained everything to us so that there was no confusion. The cake test was so fun and they give you way more than enough of each sample to be sure you love what you're getting. Our cake was a custom order and we were so surprised to learn that we would receive a WHOLE sample cake to make sure they made our order right. The design on our cake was even better than we had imagined it would be and they worked with our florist to get the perfect blue colored ribbon to wrap around each tier. The cake was absolutely delicious and we received SO MANY compliments about how beautiful it was and how great it tasted. We will definitely come back to Montilio's for any future large cake orders! I have been going to this bakery since I was a kid; of course I decided to use them for my wedding. We got a small cake top layer with a cupcake tower. They allowed us to pick multiple different flavors and they were all so delicious!! The cake looked beautiful and the staff was easy to work with and very responsive! I would highly recommend Montilios!

Montilios made our cake perfectly. We wanted a simple design and showed them one photo. They were able to execute the perfect design for what we ordered. And can we talk about the flavors?! We liked having a variety for our guests and each layer was delicious (especially the oil cake). We had so many people tell us how delicious it was. We would recommend Montilios to anyone planning an important party or wedding as they are professional and take care of all the planning.

My wedding was on 6/10/17 and our Wedding Cake was from Montillios (through a package at the hotel). My husband and I were so happy with the cake and planning leading up to it. When we went for our tasting we tried nine flavors/combinations. We customized the fillings with each flavor cake. We had a four tier cake with three different flavors. Many of our guests told us how great the cake was.
The design we chose was very simple - a textured white. We then had our florist add some fresh flowers. Elegant and simple. Exactly what i'd imagined.

We are so glad we used Montillios for our wedding cake. Everything from their professionalism to the taste of the cake was impeccable. We even had a surprise birthday cake made for the reception and that was awesome as well. HIGHLY recommend for any bakery needs.

Montilio's is awesome! We had the best time cake tasting at the Brockton location. Kathy was so sweet and really understood the classic design we were looking for. Montilio's made a stunning cake that was expertly decorated. Our wedding guests cannot stop talking about how delicious it was!

My husband and I got married on Sunday May 7th and Montilio's Bakery made our wedding cake. Our wedding cake was gorgeous and delicious. Montilio's Bakery discussed every detail of our wedding cake down to the silver dots along the scrolling of the cake. Our cake looked exactly as I pictured it and we couldn't have asked for a better bakery. I am also a GF bride and Monitilio's makes GF cake. My husband and I had the GF carrot cake as the top tier of our wedding cake and it was absolutely amazing. You couldn't even tell it was GF. My husband and I would highly recommend you to choose Montilio's as your bakery for your wedding cake.

Montilio's exceeded our expectations!!! We ordered our wedding cake through them and could not be happier with how it came out. Going into our appointment we weren't sure what we wanted. They provided so many different flavor combinations to try and we were able to choose 2 for our cake. The design was a combination of a couple of different pictures I had and it came out GORGEOUS! I know I'm biased, but it's the best looking wedding cake I've seen. We highly recommend Montilio's for wedding cakes!!

Montilios was recommended by our wedding venue and after a delicious cake tasting, we decided to select them to make our wedding cake. They were patient with my change in design ideas over the course of a few months and when I saw the finished product the day of our wedding, I was very happy with it! They delivered the cake on time and met all of our wedding cake needs.

Most beautiful cake Ive ever seen. My wedding guests were amazed by how good it tasted. Normally you have to sacrifice taste for looks. But not with Montilios, they deliver both! Also very accommodating if you want to alter anything about the cake/decorations as well. Highly recommend them!

Montilio's was one of the suggested vendors from my wedding venue and I am so glad that I picked them! I worked with Joyce and Nikki, and they were so accommodating and helpful. For example, I wanted a cake featured on their website that was all white, except I wanted a hint of blush in the icing/floral cascading down the cake. To ensure the color of the flowers was what I wanted, Joyce asked me to send a paint color sample from Home Depot with the specific shade I wanted--and the flower color matched perfectly! Would highly recommend :)
