  An absolute dream

  We booked Monterey Beach Station for our wedding (6/3/2023) and we cannot recommend them enough. For over a year prior to the event, the staff at Events by Classic was personable, organized, and always quick to answer all our questions. They made planning a wedding from the other side of the country so easy! The day itself was, in a word, perfect: the venue was beautiful, the staff all-around incredible, the food and drink fantastic. If you are planning a wedding in Monterey, you cannot go wrong with Monterey Beach Station. Special thanks to our venue coordinator Frankie who runs the tightest ship I've ever seen and is all-around FANTASTIC.

  Stunning setting at Monterey Beach Station and wonderful service by Events By Classic

  Absolutely wonderful experience having our wedding at Monterey Beach Station and working with Events by Classic (esp Charlene!).
  
  Monterey Beach Station is such a hidden gem. We knew almost immediately from walking in the door that we wanted to have our wedding there. It’s located right on the beach, allowing you to have a ceremony in the sand, yet perfectly modern inside. Events By Classic is very experienced and executed a flawless event. The planning was so stress free and so was the day of. Charlene and team were truly wonderful, we felt relaxed and we were able to just enjoy the whole day and not worry about a thing. Our guests raved about the service, the food (tri-tip especially) and the location. 10/10 would recommend.

  The perfect setting for our wedding

  My husband and I had the most perfect wedding we could have ever dreamed of thanks to the Monterey Beach Station and the team that helped put it all together.
  We wanted something close to town and casual yet elegant, and this place checked all of the boxes. What sold us was that it is the only beachfront wedding venue in Central California, and they make that the highlight of the day. From the ceremony, to beach games during cocktail hour, to bonfires and smores at night, everything is focused around the beach while still having the traditional dinner and reception inside.
  We had Francesca as our venue coordinator and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly attentive, organized, and relaxed throughout the entire process. It made me feel confident that we were going to have an amazing day knowing how calm and assured she was. Francesca really made the planning process soooo easy - all we had to worry about was picking the food, linen colors, some decorations, and figuring out table arrangements. I couldn't imagine a smoother planning process. And the staff during the day was so wonderful and fun - some of them even joined us on the dance floor! We were able to fully enjoy our day because Francesca and her team made everything so flawless.
  We could not have asked for better, and weeks later we are still relishing in how beautiful that day was. A lot of our guests have told us over and over again that our wedding was the BEST wedding they've ever been to, and we owe so much of that to the Monterey Beach Station. I highly recommend making this the place for your nuptials if you dream of a relaxed beach wedding and want most of the planning handled for you. 100/10 recommend!

  Monterey Beach Station

  The whole team at Events by Classic are absolutely amazing. Everything from the planning process, food, drinks, staff, professionalism and quality was better than we could have ever imagined. Our wedding coordinator Frankie made my whole wedding planning experience one I will never forget and such a great experience. Our guests are still talking about the food and service. I can't say enough about Frankie. She was amazing from the moment I met her and could not have had the most perfect day without her. She is so professional and everything we requested she did and then some!

  Beautiful inclusive venue

  Monterey Beach Station was a perfect venue - the food and scenery especially were incredible and they were very easy to work with. We are still raving about the experience months later and could not have asked for a better spot. They are super central, right on the beach and have a airy beautiful space - the venue is already decorative before adding personal touches and the packages are very inclusive with a lot of great extras included (s'mores, games, champagne toast, etc.). Susan was a big help and everyone was so friendly, the day went very smoothly!

  Beautiful venue with everything we needed and more

  Monterey beach station was the first venue we checked out in Monterey. We were already amazed with the fact that we could get married on the beach, that the beach station provided bon fires with a s’mores bar, and a wedding planner included! We got such a great deal, and loved every minute of our day at the Monterey beach station!

  Fantastic, all-inclusive, and gorgeous venue and team

  After nearly two years, we finally had our wedding reception at the Monterey Beach House in October, and it was fantastic! Our guests gushed about how gorgeous the venue was (and its perfect location).
  
  We were working with Amanda when we first started exploring venues, and she was great from tours to signing to when we all had to navigate the changes brought on by the pandemic last year. MBH was great in communicating updates and changes and implemented a fair system for postponements.
  
  Once we started planning the postponed event in 2021 ,we started working with Frankie, who was incredibly and flexible as we planned and day of. Frankie and the team were all very professional and friendly day of and helped make sure the event went incredibly smoothly.
  
  Food, booze, rentals, and some decor are all included, making this an option for those who want flexibility in some vendors ( e.g. photographer, DJ) but not have to deal with every single detail.

  I cannot say enough about our experience with Events by Classic Group and their Monterey Beach House venue!   Amazing best day ever!

  We had the most amazing experience! This is the perfect place for a wedding right on the beach! Our guests commented that this was one of the most enjoyable weddings they had been too. There was something for everyone to do, we had s’mores & bon fires & kids played in the sand. The food & staff were amazing!

  Change of hands

  After we had confirmed booking the Monterey Beach House as our venue, we found out that the venue would be under new management; we weren't sure what to expect and how this transition would effect us, but we are pleased to say that our day went smoothly! With the help of our amazing planner and the upgrades the venue underwent prior to our event, I feel we really lucked out a benefited from the change. Beverly was our main point of contact regarding the venue and she was very kind, we also had the pleasure of meeting the owner during our event, both whom wanted to make our wedding day perfect and to our liking; they were very determined to be sure our expectations were met. We feel the venue and those servicing our event, exceeded our expectations; the venue holds tremendous value for having access to the beach for the entire event, with bonfires, smores and the options of games on the sand, there was something to do for everyone! The outside may not look like much at first, but inside is spacious with romantic twinkle string lights draped across the ceiling and a neutral slate to really make it your own. The view is outstanding with a great mix of the wharf and the coastline lit up and the beautiful sunset for our evening wedding! Plus we couldn't beat our toes in the sand ceremony; by far the best beach front value in our eyes with the most access to the beach throughout your event! It was just right for our beach chic wedding!

  We just had our wedding at the Beach House and I must say it went better than I could have ever imagined. Kelley was an incredible DJ and host and the entire Monterey Beach Party staff was awesome. Kelley was full of energy and helped us out so much along the way. He made the night extra special by including my mother in everything as she couldn’t attend in person. Kati also helped us plan everything out just the way we wanted it. The food was excellent, and the mood was perfect. I could have asked for more!

  Upon planning our dream wedding, Monterey Beach Party was the easiest choice we had to make. When visiting the location and meeting the faces behind name, our search for our perfect wedding venue quickly came to a halt. My husband was away for military training during the time of picking a venue. They were very patient with me, and allowed for me to discuss everything with my better half before making any decisions. Kati Enea was perfect at portraying our vision to their amazing team. We had many out-of-town guests who all said that this was the most relaxed and fun wedding they had been to in a long time. Upon arriving at the venue, everything was set up perfectly. The colors were spot-on, and everything was exactly how we imagined it to look.
  
  The weather was phenomenal (Oct. 12th, 2014) as Kati “promised.” The sun was shining, and as Kelley was reading a poem about tides and waves, a giant wave broke in the background as if on cue. The food was remarkable, and the serving staff was very polite. After dinner and dancing, the outside ceremony was transformed to BBQ pits for some s’mores around the campfire. They have everything available on site of which made it all super easy to pull off. If they don’t have something that you require, they do all the grunt work, and make it happen. Stumbling across their webpage was the best thing to have happened when trying to pull off a wedding of this caliber in 6 months. The price was right, and the service was even better!
  
  Beachcomber Kelley was an absolute riot to work with as our Officiant and DJ. Prior to the wedding, he would call me just to make sure that we were doing ok with all the planning. He is always in a happy mood, and always brightened my day after talking to him. He truly made Josh and I feel special, and aided in how magical the day was overall.
  
  We wouldn't change a thing!!

  Monterey Beach Party is a dream come true. I worked with them for our wedding, but I have also worked with them years ago on a corporate teambuilder. Both experiences were out of this world amazing; my co-workers still talk about how fun that corporate teambuilder was.
  
  The staff is incredible - Taylor, Heather, Katie and Beachcomber Kelley! From day one, they were gracious, helpful, accommodating and said YES to every request. Their prices are (almost) all-inclusive so the cost covers the wedding & reception – no surprise fees or gratuities! I was blown away by their willingness to create a vegan menu; it was really important to us. We provided a suggested menu and Heather worked with the chef to make her magic. Everyone at our wedding, many of whom normally eat meat and dairy, loved the food!
  
  Location – they’re located directly on the beach. It's a perfect location for a beach wedding because when the wedding ends, just walk up a few steps and you're at the reception. The inside is decorated to inspire elegance, with a flair for fun and laughter. Perfect for our guests!
  
  DJ Beachcomber Kelley is a dream emcee. He is warm, inviting and always greeted us during our visits to the beach house. He knows the beach house in and out and gave us a "play by play" so that we could really get a sense of what would happen. He worked with us meticulously on the music and even met separately on his own time with our officiants so they knew the space. He was sweet to call me the morning of our wedding to let me know "all is good..." so I didn't worry. I love his enthusiasm, his passion for music, the way he keeps the crowd moving, and the table games. We had some special requests around starting songs at a specific time, or cutting songs 1/2 way through and things like that. Beachcomber Kelley perfected every single request and did it with enthusiasm and grace. I felt like he was our champion the entire night.
  
  My guests say it was the Best Wedding Ever!

  Monterey Beach Party is a dream come true. I worked with them for our wedding, but I have also worked with them years ago on a corporate teambuilder. Both experiences were out of this world amazing; my co-workers still talk about how fun that corporate teambuilder was.
  
  The staff is incredible - Taylor, Heather, Katie and Beachcomber Kelley! From day one, they were gracious, helpful, accommodating and said YES to every request. Their prices are (almost) all-inclusive so the cost covers the wedding & reception – no surprise fees or gratuities! I was blown away by their willingness to create a vegan menu; it was really important to us. We provided a suggested menu and Heather worked with the chef to make her magic. Everyone at our wedding, many of whom normally eat meat and dairy, loved the food!
  
  Location – they’re located directly on the beach. It's a perfect location for a beach wedding because when the wedding ends, just walk up a few steps and you're at the reception. The inside is decorated to inspire elegance, with a flair for fun and laughter. Perfect for our guests!

  MPB has THE best venue! With the ceremony right on the beach how could it be bad?! Seriously, though, with the all inclusive pricing, the views and the excellent customer service I couldn't have rated it any less than 5 stars. They did everything for me! So stress free, even easy and quick communication throughout the whole year of planning. Beachcomber Kelley really makes the night. He is hilarious and really gets the crowd motivated and engaged. Taylor, the coordinator is the sweetest! She puts you at ease and makes sure your night is absolutely perfect. My guests are still telling us that it's the best wedding they have been to. And we must agree. We both have large families and a large group of friends, MBP accommodated us all. It is a wonderful place to be able to incorporate children into the celebration. No reason for stuffy 'Adult Only' weddings there! We had tons of kids and they had a blast as well. Let me tell you how good the food was! We did not sample the food prior to choosing MBP so we really took a gamble... The food was sooo delicious. Our guests were amazed and so were we!!!! Seriously. The tri-tip was mouth watering and the chicken soo juicy! Our guests kept getting up and filling their plates it was so good. We would not have wanted our wedding anywhere else. It turned out absolutely perfect.

His ceremony is beautiful though, and we mostly stuck to what he had already had for it. The venue was so much fun, and we loved the laid back beach party vibe we got to provide for our friends and family. We were able to add classic elements too with rentals, and Taylor was so great about helping us realize what we could do to make the beach house look like we wanted for our reception. Our friends and family are all still talking about how much fun they had! Oh, and the FOOD was AMAZING! We did the tri tip and salmon, and both were delicious. The chef told us the salmon had just been caught THAT DAY! Appetizers were great. I could just go on and on! Oh, and Kelley was also our DJ, and he was seriously so great. He kept the flow of the evening going, he had so many fun ideas, and his music selection is great! We, and our family and friends, absolutely loved him.

  We are so happy we picked Monterey Beach Party for our wedding. We have NO complaints! Kelley Conover was professional and charming. Samantha Chapman was just amazing.   I LOVED EVERYTHING about the venue, location, atmosphere and the people! The people in office were GREAT to work with (I worked with Katie and loved her!), Kelley the MC and officiant was so sweet, caring, and fun. I always wanted to get married on the sand and the MBP made it possible for me! The servers on the night we so helpful and attentive to everyone's needs FOOD WAS SO GOOD! I was only disappointed in the time, you look forward to this one day and I feel I got more of just a moment. I did not get a lot of time to socialize with my guest every time I did I had something in schedule I needed to be doing. Now I understand and Kelley did get all we needed in our wedding done in a timely manner, I just needed to have more down time to stop and ENJOY my BIG day! BUT everything else was wonderful I just recommend brides to slow down and enjoy EVEY MOMENT!

  One con is that you are not allowed to remove the existing Hawaiian themes decorations they have on the walls and ceilings inside the beach house, so if you are looking to customize your own theme to something more modern, you might want to do the outdoor tent rental option instead.

  - There were a handful of details that we discussed at length with the coordinator / director that did not make it to the final version of our wedding day. They weren't huge items per se (beach games, table runners, etc), but these were core details that, when we planned to our wedding, we could specifically imagine and look forward to. So when our big day happened and those details that we had spoken with coordinators about were not present... it just didn't feel like OUR wedding, the one we spent all that time looking forward to.
  - Initially we had been told that one or both of the coordinators / directors would be on hand throughout the night. So when our point of contact ran out the door moments after the ceremony ended, citing a different wedding to go to, it left us feeling not great. We were told "don't worry, someone else will come." That other person never showed up. As the night continued and lots of little things started to pile up (champagne for toasts getting passed out 75 minutes early, meaning we had to urgently send someone out to restock, or food / treat stations not being restocked with core components), there was no one on hand to help out. My wife noted that she felt unimportant, or at least, less important than whoever our point of contact was rushing off to support for the rest of the night. I've got to say, I really didn't want my bride feeling unimportant on her wedding day.
  - - And lastly, there were some issues that could have been resolved or handled if there were a bit more attention to detail on the front end.
  
  Did our guests feel all of these issues in the same way that we did? No, I don't believe so. But I know they felt some. And more importantly, when we woke up the next morning, we felt like enough went wrong, or didn't happen at all, that we ended up with a wedding that wasn't the one we had been dreaming of. So now we have to settle for the wedding we got instead of the wedding we wanted.
