  Lover’s Point Nuptials

  After deciding to keep our wedding intimate and simple we found Brian to officiate our ceremony.
  
  In attendance were only a witness and two guests, which allowed for the simplicity of meeting at my favorite place in the world with no formal planning.
  
  Brian did a wonderful job of capturing our desired expression of love, commitment and feelings in the readings and vows.
  
  I would recommend Brian’s services for anyone interested in a wedding on the Monterey Peninsula.

  Fun & Professional

  We hired Brian nearly two years ago, and we kept in contact leading up to our wedding. We had several Zoom calls with him as well as an extensive questionnaire. The more we wrote, the more material he had to work with. He wrote a beautiful script yet was very receptive to our edits. He made us feel relaxed during our ceremony, and he was a hoot just to speak with casually. Super funny guy, super professional. Just an amazing experience with Brian, and we cannot say enough how much he made getting married stress-free and helped us savor the moment. He's awesome!

  We had an excellent experience with Brian! He was flexible and helped us thoroughly with the planning process. On our wedding day, he did an amazing job running the show, so to speak, and helped give us a very special ceremony.   My micro wedding exceeded my expectations

  My wife and I were so grateful we found Brian, we always wanted to get married in Monterey because it holds a special place in our heart, it’s where we got engaged. We were so excited to find Brian he was a great help and willing to change things last minute and he was so accommodating as well when I was running late 20 minutes. The ceremony it self was so beautiful he truly expressed how my wife and I felt without meeting us first until the day of. We are so grateful and thankful to have found him. I will be recommending his services to my family and friends.

  Our perfect wedding in Carmel

  We were planning our wedding in Carmel from our home in Florida when we heard about Brian Borgia from our photographer Joshua Rose. Brian was so punctual in all of his responses while writing perfect vows for our marriage incorporating our personal touches. He directed us to a location to obtain our marriage license once we arrived in California. Everything was perfectly planned and arranged for our arrival and the entire service, although private, was flawless.

Brian sought to understand our unique story and future goals to create a customized ceremony- even meeting with us in person (with remote options available) beforehand. He truly captured the essence of our relationship- to the point that our guests were surprised to learn that we had not known Brian prior to the planning process. Brian is kind, personable (he truly makes you feel at ease), an excellent communicator, and so helpful. His emails included useful tips and reminders, and he was available for recommendations and referrals throughout the planning process. He actually suggested the florist we hired (and loved).   Brian was and amazing person to have as a part of our special ceremony. He did a really great job at asking beforehand any and every little detail that made our day special. I would definitely recommend him. All the little details that he asked he remembered at the time of ceremony. He provided a draft of our ceremony and worked with me on modifying it several times. Upon meeting him in person, we found him to be warm and kind, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable during our ceremony. We would definitely recommend him for weddings and vow renewals!

  We decided to elope and have a very small intimate ceremony with our children after 10 years of planning. Brian made it so easy for us and helped us find the best location based on description of what setting we were looking for and it was exactly what we wanted. We are SO happy we decided to book him to be our officiant. He responds to emails very quickly and we really appreciated him taking the time to explain everything. Everything was perfect. As I tear up in writing this, thank you so much Brian for everything!

  Brian is absolutely wonderful. Prior to our wedding he was communicative, responsive and answered all of our questions. He was one of the easiest vendors to work with throughout the wedding process - he’s extremely competent yet relaxed.
  
  We thought our ceremony was perfect. People even asked us if he was a family member because it felt so natural. His sense of calm helped both of us feel relaxed and at ease during the rehearsal and ceremony. Would recommend Brian to anyone!

  Brian made our wedding ceremony so meaningful and extremely special for us. Talk about the wedding ceremony of the year! All of our guests were blown away with how wonderful Brian beautifully captured our love story. No amount of words can describe how wonderful and incredible of a partner Brian is when it comes to planning for the big day. He was extremely prompt in his email responses (always responded within 24 business hours), provided such wonderful tips, explained the marriage license process thoroughly, and always provided such clear next steps for us to follow. Brian truly made us feel so at ease throughout the entire process. We also got the wonderful chance to meet with Brian over Zoom where he got to better understand our story and journey together as a couple. It truly did not feel fabricated at any point - nor did it feel like we were just another client of his. Brian made us feel like we were his friends and genuinely wanted to know who we were and what our story was all about. We felt so honored and lucky to have met Brian - he is truly such a wonderful human being. What an amazing and memorable wedding - and we owe it all to Brian. We can’t thank you enough, Brian!   With his professional direction we were able to put this together in just three weeks.
  Brian worked well with our chosen photographer in providing suggestions for coastal locations to have the service. The questionnaire he gave us provided him with excellent material on which to base our personalized wedding service.
  COVID-19 restrictions provided us with a couple of challenges. Brian was able to help us through all these challenges and suggest alternatives.

  Where do I begin? Our ceremony was so memorable and so beautifully written. My husband and I are not from the area, and Brian made our experience so easy and put us at ease with his professionalism, communication, and his ability getting to know us as a couple. He wrote the most beautiful ceremony that I will never forget. We did meetings and chatted a lot with Brian before hand about us as a couple and told him what we wanted out of our ceremony and he exceeded all our expectations. I cannot thank him enough for making our wedding ceremony so beautiful and the entire process so easy.

  Carmel / Monterrey renewal success!

  Through reviews I found a list of Wedding Wire officiants to help narrow my list for a surprise 25th anniversary renewal in the Carmel / Monterrey area. After reading reviews and philosophies, I selected Brian Borgia to help me out. He helped us select a beautiful beach side gondola for a personal renewal. He wrote the perfect renewal ceremony after an interview with myself, and it came off perfectly. Greatly Appreciated!

  Best officiant ever

  Brian Borgia was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! He was so helpful and always responsive (promptly) when I sent him and email as I was figuring things out with our destination wedding. He has a wealth of knowledge for all "wedding information" in the Monterey area and will gladly share this with you. When my husband and I decided to do a "Whole Package" wedding and reception we knew we still wanted Brian to be our officiant no matter what. We already felt that we had a rapport with him and he was the only one we wanted to perform our special ceremony. His questionnaire was very detailed and easy to fill out. This provided him with some good, solid background information to personalize our ceremony just as we wanted. When we met Brian over Zoom (we don't live in the Monterey area), we felt like we already knew him and were old friends. Our wedding day ceremony was incredible...he had everyone in tears (joyful tears) as he told our love story and laughing at just the right moments. He made us feel so comfortable and made it easy for us to get through without getting too emotional. Brian is very flexible, professional, and kind. I know a few of our guests spoke to him afterwards to share their thoughts of his "performance" and were very impressed with him. Everyone that was there shared this same sentiment with us as well, some even multiple times. They told us how beautiful our ceremony was - the words he chose to describe our relationship (past and present) and the way in which he conveyed our story was meaningful and sincere. We could not have asked for a more "PERFECT" wedding ceremony. It was everything we dreamed of and more! Thank you so much Brian!!

  Amazing experience!

  We had an absolutely amazing experience with Brian! Leading up to the big day, he was super communicative, organized, and helpful with any questions we had. He also took the time to meet us in person, which we really appreciated. He truly made our ceremony so special and personalized - he had remarkable balance of seriousness, tradition, romance, and laughs. We honestly could not have pictured a more perfect ceremony that was so personal to us. SO many of our guests told us how amazing he was as an officiant - and we could not agree more! He also helped save our floral arch when the wind almost knocked it over - you rock Brian!!! Wish we could give Brian 10 stars!!! Thank you so much!!!

  Professional and Kind

  Brian officiated our mini wedding at Hyatt Highlands Inn Carmel in June and we were so thankful for his kind presence and expertise! He provided all the information we needed regarding wedding license info, tips and checklists, and was always available via email and zoom. I loved that he set up a zoom meeting a few weeks prior to our wedding so we could do a face-to-face, get to know us, and ask him any last minute questions - especially because we live over an hour away from Carmel! I appreciated how friendly and kind he was with our friends and family. He also works with his wife Heidi who does photography at weddings, but unfortunately she was doing another wedding on our date. I am so happy that Brian was the one officiating our wedding. His speech was perfect, funny, and had everything we wanted to include in a short period of time. He even mailed our wedding license for us and sent us a follow up email with FAQs about how to obtain a copy etc. Thank you Brian for being a part of our wedding journey!!!!!
