Montage Mountain Wedding Review
We could not have asked for a better venue to have our special day! It was everything that my husband and I could have asked for. Great location, amazing view, options for either inside or outside ceremony sites and cocktail hour! There was plenty of space for parking and have ADA parking closer to the venue.
The staff was so friendly, supportive, accommodating, and upbeat the whole process. Our coordinator was wonderful and was so helpful the entire way through; communicated regularly, making sure everything was ready, if we needed anything, was always available for questions that we had. The food was AMAZING. To be able to have comfortable conversations and be able to pick our drinks and food without feeling pressured was a great feeling. This was truly an amazing experience for us both, and would recommend this venue not only for a wedding but for any event!

Wow! What an amazing wedding we had at Montage Mountain Resorts in October. Abbey and Michelle are wonderful and did a fantastic job! Abbey was able to keep up flawlessly with our ever changing plan, such as working last minute to help arrange our surprise fireworks display! Which couldn't have been any more spectacular on a beautifully colored fall mountainside. The food was very delicious and everyone raved about the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres. Don't hesitate to take a look at this beautiful venue and rest assured all the staff will do everything they can to make your special day not just special but a day you will never forget! -

Our October 2022 wedding was executed with perfection. Michelle (venue coordinator) was very attentive and professional. She was paramount in bringing our vision to life. I’m thankful our paths crossed at a wedding expo. We had both our ceremony and reception at this venue and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. It truly was the perfect Fall day with peak foliage which translated into incredible pictures and memories. We highly recommend this vendor! -

Best day ever
Montage Mountain exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day! Michelle helped us along the entire process and made our dream wedding a reality. These ease of having the food, tables, decorations, etc. provided to us through Montage truly took all of the guess work out of planning a wedding. We couldn't have chose a better place to have our most perfect day! -

The Perfect Venue
Montage was the very first place I toured. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the perfect place for our wedding, and I didn’t need to go anywhere else.
Michelle was fantastic from the very start. She answered all of our questions, gave a great tour, a personalized food tasting for the menu, and made sure the day went so smoothly. The people who worked during the reception and set up the ceremony were also so nice. We appreciate them so much and they made the day even more awesome.
Having a place to change, the ceremony site, and the reception all in the same area made it so easy for getting ready and then going through the events of the day. The pictures where we took the first look were great. The ceremony pictures were perfect, and the reception hall felt cozy but fancy at the same time. The food packages were also good, considering all the bar options you can also get with it. Also if you invite kids, there was areas for you to set up games for them outside in the cocktail hour and also potentially inside depending on what is set up in the next room over.
I can’t express enough how much this was the perfect place to be married. I am happy I didn’t look anywhere else and that this is where we got to spend the best day of our relationship so far.
Please don’t hesitate to check it out. It is amazing :) -

Best Wedding Ever!
We had an awesome experience with Michelle and the entire Montage Mountain event crew. From the early planning stage, to the last-minute details, Michelle helped us through the entire process. Our guests raved about the food and the bar, and we just loved the pictures we got inside and outside the venue! -

We had our wedding at Montage Mountain resorts on 9/26/20. Our plans changed drastically throughout the summer due to COVID and ended up eloping earlier in the month. We still wanted to have a local celebration and renewal ceremony with friends and family. Michelle and her team helped plan a whole new wedding in less than two months. The task seemed unachievable but Michelle put my nerves at ease and did anything to make our requests happen. Since we needed to plan two weddings, Montage worked with our budget without any issues. We still have guests saying how much fun they had and how amazing the experience was. I would 100x over recommend this location and team.Montage Mountain Resorts's reply:

We had our dream wedding at Montage! When we began planning our wedding and decided on hosting it back where we grew up we really struggled with a venue- we wanted something a bit more modern, upscale and unique and just didn't LOVE any of the spots we were seeing. After tons of searching we decided Montage Mountain would be the right spot for us. We were so thrilled to have an all in one venue when it came to getting ready, our ceremony, photos and reception. During the planning process Michelle and Katy were dreams to work with. They helped us plan our perfect day, consistently adapting to our changing plans and helping us build out the day we've always wanted, and easing any concerns that came up. Unfortunately the day of, there was lot of rain in the forecast, Michelle and team helped not only helped provide the support to move our ceremony inside, but also helped transform our "plan b" into a ceremony site even better than our plan A! The indoor ceremony felt extremely intimate and our guests loved the ambiance. We held our reception in Slocum Hollow Lounge and it was the perfect industrial yet classic atmosphere with the Edison bulbs, long slate bar and the wooden tables- everything was exactly what I had dreamed of! I'll admit when we booked I wasn't sure how we'd feel about the food, but the cocktail hour, dinner and smores bar were so fabulous I can't even believe I had concerns leading up to it- the catering staff is top notch. My husband is Celiac and I have several other food allergies, so we were extremely concerned about being able to enjoy our night while still having out meals and the staff was so diligent - even setting up entirely separate gluten free tables for my husband and our other GF guests.
The best part of it was- even being in the same location, each part of our wedding felt unique. It was hard to believe that we were at the same place that was a water park in the summer and a ski lodge in the winter- the staff did an amazing job transforming the grounds for an upscale events! -

Our Montage wedding was the wedding of our dreams! We began our planing process in August of 2020, and from start to finish, Montage was a joy to work with! Our wedding day was 10/16/2021! Due to the size of our wedding, we opted to have our wedding in the Lodge. The space was a huge hit! Our guests loved the art chandelier, and there was plenty room for all of our tables and chairs, two double sided buffets, two bars, and a big dance floor. The food was OUTSTANDING! Our guests are still raving about it! Michelle was a dream to work with, she thought of everything! The staff was incredible as well, with quick bar service and thorough clean up. There wasn’t a piece out of place. We highly recommend this venue for all your wedding needs! It was truly the best day of our lives! Thanks Michelle and team!Montage Mountain Resorts's reply:

Best Day Ever 💓
It was such a pleasure hosting our special day at Montage Mountain Resorts! Michelle from the beginning was professional, friendly, honest, helpful, very accomodating, answered any questions or concerns my husband and I had and so wonderful to work with. We enjoyed our meetings with Michelle for food tastings and going over details for the wedding along the way. She went above and beyond to make sure everything and every detail went smooth and stress free on the wedding day. The montage staff were amazing with the bar service and wait staff. The food omg was spectacular from the hor'deourves to the buffet and the desserts/smores bar. The venue is beautiful. We had our ceremony on the top of Smoke and I can't tell you how stunning the view was. My husband and I are from New York and wanted a unique outdoor mountain view wedding and it was not a disappointment! The Slocum Hollow where we had our reception was spectacular with large mountain view windows, string lights, wrap around deck with lit up fire pits to roast marshmallows and chat. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and unique our wedding was. Our day could not have gone better. It was the best day ever. Thank you so much again Michelle and Montage for being a part of our best day ever! I totally recommend Montage for anyone who is looking for a romantic and unique celebration experience. -

My dream wedding made real!
My husband and I just got married here in October and I don't think it's possible to rave enough about this venue and their staff! We had the most beautiful day, Michelle is absolutely the best coordinator we could have asked for. She made the day so stress free and seamless. The staff was so attentive and wonderful. The food was delicious, everyone is still raving about the steak and cheese egg rolls from cocktail hour! The scenery is gorgeous and the venue is unique and stands out from other venues we looked at. Absolutely amazing experience, I wish I had more upcoming events so I could have them here that's how much we loved it -

Montage Mountain Sept Wedding
Planning our wedding with Montage was a breeze thanks to their knowledgable and very accommodating staff. The venue was spectacular with the spacious indoor restaurant, outdoor cocktail tent, and access to the wrap around deck and fire pits. The food and bar service was excellent and we had many raving reviews from our guests.

Everything I’ve ever dreamed of
Where do I begin? First, with Michelle. She is nothing short of amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. I was truly so happy to have her their with us on the most special day. She thought of EVERYTHING and helped me be the calmest, most relaxed throughout the planning process. We can’t thank her enough. Then, the Montage staff. We received an unbelievable amount of kudos from our guests about the friendly and helpful wait staff as well as the most delicious food. Our guests have not stopped talking about our wedding. Let me first say that I'm still dreaming of the hor'deourves from the cocktail hour. The food, the drinks, the ambiance - everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff and bartenders were so sweet and amazing, all of my wedding guests have been raving about how awesome the bartenders were. Michelle helped me decide the best setup and guide me through decisions to make the best wedding reception I could have asked for! The scenery is perfect for romantic photos ❤️ -

We were married on October 24, 2020. Throughout our planning, Michelle was very responsive to all our questions especially with the uncertainty of COVID-19. The venue has great scenic views for pictures and a large space for guests to enjoy being inside or outside near fire pits. Even through the COVID pandemic, they worked with us, accommodated, and kept up to date with the latest info to help us create the best day of our lives! My husband and I held our ceremony and wedding reception at Montage Mountain in September. I can honestly say, there is nothing about our wedding day that we wish could have been different. The venue was simply perfect. The team at Montage are amazing to work with. They are so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our day went as smoothly as possible. We worked with Katy and Kevin from Montage throughout the planning and coordination of our big day. They were both great to work with and always made themselves available to answer any questions we had. The food was spectacular. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was because I never had catered food from Montage before. Their restaurant food I've always enjoyed during the Ski season but I didn't know what to expect with the catering. They're Chef and staff prepared excellent food. We went with the buffet and had a carving station added with it. It was so tastefully set up and the hors d'oeuvre passed during the cocktail hour were excellent. What I loved about Montage was that if you plan to have your ceremony there, they pretty much allow you to have it anywhere on the property. We decided to have ours at the top of Smoke, the ski slope. It was perfect, providing the atmosphere we were looking for. The cocktail area we held outside of the lodge under a tent with lawn games set up nearby. The weather was great and our guest really enjoyed being outside. The reception was inside but the room is mostly big windows so you really get some great views all around. There are fire pits on the deck outside of the reception space so guests can still hang outside near the fire pits but still see all the action happening inside. I have to say, our guests really loved the fire pits and deck. We hear our guests rave about this part the most. What I really like about having the deck and fire pits is that for those who don't typically like to dance at a wedding, aren't stuck sitting at their assigned table all night. I was so happy to see my family all pull up chairs around the fire to catch up with family from out of town who we don't see as often. It just made this venue that much more special. Cost is always very important when wedding planning so I have to mention, I really think Montage has the most reasonable pricing in the area and they really do over deliver on value. My wedding day, I feel was perfect, stress free and exactly how I envisioned it would be. I really owe a lot of that to the team at Montage. It's been over half a year now since we got married and my guests still rave about our wedding. It was just that special and unique of a place.Montage Mountain Resorts's reply:

Best Venue!
This was the absolute BEST venue My husband and I could have asked for ! Every single thing we asked for, requested, or had questions about was answered, addressed , and beyond accomplished . Kevin and Katy were so helpful and made sure everything was perfect every step of the way . The food was amazing, the guests are still talking about it. We were driven all over the mountain to look at potential ceremony sites. When we finally picked out location on the mountain, The staff did everything to make sure it was going to be perfect. Our reception was inside Slocum Hollow, which in my opinion was the best, LARGE windows to veiw the mountains in the background with the wrap around deck, and several fire pits lit all night long for the guests to enjoy.
If any of my vendors, such as the DJ, or the Cake , or the florist had any questions , Kevin and Katy were very quick to respond to everyones needs.
We had several meetings throughout the process to make sure every detail was fine tuned.
Could not have asked for a better expirence for our wedding. Would Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and fun wedding venue! :) -

I really could not say more about what an incredible experience we had with planning our wedding at Montage. They were so accommodating, easy going, and fun. We wanted an intimate affair (105 people) and the lounge was absolutely perfect for us. We did minimal decorating as the venue itself is fantastic with the Edison lights over the bar, beautiful fireplace and porch with all of the fire pits going (which kept our guests comfortable in the November chill). The price was beyond reasonable and the food was outstanding. I had multiple family members comment on how it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. We opted for a photo booth and were so happy we did, the vendor they have that offers them was so fun and had the best props. Our guests really ate it up. There was not one thing I wished we did differently and I really owe so much to the team at Montage for making it all happen. We have nothing but the happiest memories of that day. -
