Montage Kapalua Bay Reviews

We stayed at the Montage for our honeymoon and it was absolutely fabulous. We also had several spa services/visits to their spa during our weeklong stay there. We enjoyed the beach area there at the property and the luxurious pool area, and we had photos taken by their in-house photography team, Pacific Dream Photography.
We witnessed a wedding being set up on our last day there, out on the grassy area/cliff and I can tell you, its absolutely a perfect location for a destination wedding or a honeymoon!!!
There is absolutely nothing that could be any better about the Montage. The service there is impeccable. The location is the best on Maui. The food is killer. The rooms are absolutely perfect... huge.. bigger than an apartment and offer a full kitchen and a laundry room and spa like bathrooms. The spa was terrific. Great couples massages, the best mani and pedi I have ever had, and the setting is like its from a movie.
The Montage is pricey, but oh so worth it. Its way nicer and more luxurious than the Ritz down the street. We felt like celebrities.

The only downside to the Montage is that its on the rainy/windy part of the island. It rained for a decent time period every day of our stay and it was noticeably windier and cooler than other parts of the island we went to. You can't control those things.

The Montage is a breathtaking place for a wedding on Maui! Yes, the whole island is beautiful and honestly you cannot go wrong doing your wedding anywhere there... However the Montage is a whole other level! The grounds are well maintained, they only do one wedding a day (so you do not feel like just another event having to hurry up for the next person), you can go until midnight if your reception is in their indoor space (Sunset room), and every single person on their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely seems to care about making your day amazing!

All of our guests raved about the good, the location and the set up. Couldn't have dreamed up anything better!
