Amazing team of professional

This has been the most amazing experience of my life ! I am plus size girl who also happens to be tall. I was dreading shopping for a wedding dress! From start to finish dealing with any employee at Monica’s Bridal was such a pleasure. I am so happy I chose them as my wedding shop. My dress was custom made to perfection. Anything I asked for was delivered and then some! Liliya was such a pleasure. She sat down and asked me what I want for a dress and with in minutes my perfect dress was on paper! My main concern was I was getting married in 5 weeks times and they would not be able to make it in time for my wedding. She blew me away my dress was ready a week before! Every part fit perfectly. It’s hard to image what the dress will look like once complete but OMG I was honestly left speechless. My husband cried when he saw me in my dream dress! Ladies I strongly recommend Monica’s Bridal and their whole entire team.

I love my dress shopping experience!! It was soo easy and smooth. I loved the staff that helped me get my dream dress.

I would would recommend everyone to go to Monica's Bridal. They are professionals and they know what they are doing.. I loved my wedding shopping experience.

Amazing work by amazing people

I am not one to ever write reviews but i wanted to let my fellow brides know just how wonderful of an experience I have had at Monica’s bridal. First, I wanted to start off by thanking the staff by being so respectful, helpful and suppportive of me and my event. I bought my dress at another vendor and needless to say it was a work in progress with alterations. I took my dress straight to Monica’s because through word of mouth I knew my dress will be fixed up . Fixed up are not even the words - Liliya (the boss) and her staff are my fairy godmothers they took a beautiful dress and made it worthy for a princess. They dedicated time to work with me and explore options of how to incorporate beading and crystals into the dress, how to fix chest cups that sagged, they worked with me to suggest incorporating details like an over skirt and all of the time spent was done patiently and carefully. I am forever thankful and can’t wait to walk down the aisle in a dress that gives me goosebumps.

Not only do they have a beautiful selection but the workers are so friendly and take care of your needs. It was a very nice experience and I highly recommend brides to go!

I was a walk-in client (thinking it was completely out of my budget) after I just came from a horrible shopping experience at another store. They normally don't accept walk-ins but there was a consultant available with a little bit of time in between appointments that was willing to see me. I met Jenna, told her my budget, and she pulled out a calculator to check the final cost of every dress before I tried it on to make sure it was affordable for me. There was no limit on how many I could try on as long as there was time. She was incredibly friendly, kind, helpful and supportive. She was definitely made for sales, made some great offers but without being too pushy. Her personality and the unbelievable service she gave me was what made me want to buy my dress from her. I've never met a salesperson so invested in their client's wants and needs.

I also came in again towards the end of a sample sale and they had some very well kept options to purchase so it made wonder what great things they had at the beginning that were already sold.

The only downside is that they do not sell regular bridesmaid dresses, only evening gowns, Mother of the bride etc, which are quite pricey.

They also do custom wedding dresses in addition to standard designers- Allure, Maggie Sottero, etc

I had an amazing experience here!! I would highly recommend to anybody I know. For me to come from long island all the way to Brooklyn that has to tell you something. I looked everywhere for a dress I couldn't find anywhere. The team at monica's bridal made me feel important and special every time I came. They worked with my budget and made my dream dress possible. We ordered a simple dress and liliana vamped it up to create the vision I had. She was amazing such a sweetheart. Writing this review is the least I could do for them!!! They have everything from bridal dresses customer bridal evening gowns definitely worth a visit. Love you guys!!!

I loved this boutique.. I had gone to davids bridal, reflections, Kleinfeld bridal, RK Bridal and I didnt find what I was looking for. After my first time walking into the store I had two dresses selected and as soon as I tried it on I knew that was it. It had everything I was looking for. And to top off the price was great I spent less than I had budgeted for. I loved it. My mother found her dress here as well and she looked stunning as well.

I loved loved loved Monica's bridal for my dress. What a beautiful store with quality dresses of all price ranges. Everyone was so helpful too! Daisy in sales was amazing, she helped me pick the perfect dress, and Maria at the front desk was so sweet! I would recommend this place to anyone! Definitely a one of a kind place! I love my dress so much I can't wait to wear it!

I had the most amazing customer service ever at Monica's Bridal .
Seema was exceptional at altering my wedding gown to fit to perfection - it felt like it was tailor made for me.
The staff including Daisy and Jenny were exceptionally helpful and attentive to every need, helping with the gown fittings and picking out the jewellery. Monica's bridal was dedicated to pampering and making me eel so speciall, during all my dress fittings and visits, it was a total pleasure. The gowns were all unique and beautiful, I highly recommend starting your gown hunt here, where you will be spoilt for choice.

So I just want to start off by saying, this was the first consultation I have ever had and it was unforgettable. I couldn't have done it without Daisy my consultant and of course the wedding dress designer/owner! Daisy was so patient with me and so helpful! She didn't rush me nor did she make me feel uncomfortable. She was nothing but sweet and extremely nice!

Well I found Monica's Bridal through instagram and absolutely loved her work! I knew I had to go to NY and find my wedding dress there! I flew all the way from Texas to visit Monica's Bridal and I was nothing but pleased by them! From the moment I tried on my first gown, I fell in love with the style. I tried on another gown and loved both of styles. I ended up getting a custom made gown with every detail I loved on both gowns. The owner of the store was soooo sweet! I have never met a lady so passionate about what she does and she knew how much I really wanted this dress! She worked with my budget and made sure that I was getting the dress of my dreams! The prices aren't cheap but its worth what you are getting! The designer assured me I would get the most beautiful gown custom made with every detail I asked for! I honestly can't thank Monica's bridal enough! Thank you so much for the best experience! I will never forget this day and how I felt! I recommend this to any girl out their who has dreamed of finding the perfect gown. You can not go wrong with Monica's Bridal! I can't wait to go back in March 2015 for my fitting! I have visited many bridal boutiques on my journey to find a perfect dress for my winter wedding. Honestly, Monica's Bridal was the last one on the list. I am happy to admit that my experience at the boutique was beyond the expectations. All staff is very professional, delicate and polite. The atmosphere at the salon is very relaxing. And MOST IMPORTANT - I found the dress of my dream!!! With just a couple of fittings scrupulous tailor brought it to the perfection! I can't cease to thank Monica's Bridal personnel for participating in my wedding planning. Looking forward to my Big Day!!!

I met with Jenna, She is the newest consultant to the team. She was amazing, I found my dress and I am coming back to purchase it this week. She was extremely attentive, kind, and actually cared about what I wanted. I have been to 7 bridal stores in New York and no one was as real as she was it was so refreshing! When you walk into Monica's Bridal and you can feel the wedding bliss immediately. The place is so beautiful. I would highly recommend it to any brides to be and ask for jenna!

I found my dress at Monica's Bridal! My consultant, Daisy, was great! She was very patient and listened to everything I wanted in a dress. She showed me different things I could add to my dress to make it stand out more. The owner was also very helpful! She listened to what I wanted and drew a picture of a dress for me. It was a great experience!

I had a great experience looking for a dress in monicas bridal. The consultant was very nice and worked with me to find the most stunning and complimenting wedding gown for my body type. The workers there were very kind and welcoming, this was the first place I went to where they are all about the best interest of the bride. The best service! If your a bride this is the place to go to, don't bother going anywhere else this is a one stop place where you'll find anything and everything you need for the price you want.

I cannot say enough great things about Monica's Bridal. My first appointment I was there for 2 hours trying on dresses, veils, and headpieces as they have so many beautiful pieces. I felt like I was the only bride there as they made me feel special and never rushed me. From the girl at the front desk to my amazing consultant, Daisy, they have me their undivided attention and really made my bridal experience memorable. I went back today to purchase my dress with my mother and grandmother and they were so impressed with the salon and especially Daisy. She is so kind, compassionate, down to earth, knowledgable abt the pieces, and just a wonderful person. I will be recommending everyone I know planning a wedding there!

I worked with Mary at Monica's and she helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding day! She helped me get in and out of each dress until I found the right one, had extreme patience and made my mother my sister and I very comfortable. I recently bought my wedding gown here and am so happy I did. Monica's has beautiful selection of gowns. Staff is fantastic. Everyone is willing to help you find that perfect dress. I worked with Daisy and she was awesome! This is a time where you want to have a special memory and she made it happen! I love my dress and loved working with Daisy. I tried on as many dresses as I needed to and did not feel rushed at all. She gave me all her time for our scheduled appointment. I would highly recommend going to Monicas if you are a bride to be!

I had an amazing experience with Monica's Bridal. I came in to find a dress for my wedding which was 2 months away. That did not seem like much time, but there was a large selection of dresses to choose from. I found my dress and it was ready after the second dress fitting. Best thing about Monica's is that they are professionals offering their best services.

I got a custom made dress from Monica's Bridal and I absolutely loved it! Everyone that I encountered at Monica's was very pleasant and easy to work with with. Liliana and Ashley were wonderful and made the wedding dress shopping an easy process, without adding any worry or stress. They listened carefully to what I wanted and did exactly that. As most other brides I was worried about finding the perfect dress and I am so glad I went to Monica's . . . No other store that I went to (and I went to at least 10) compared to them in selection (especially for ballroom style). I received numerous compliments on my dress throughout the night and even after the wedding, but the most important thing is that I loved it and so did my husband!

I've been to several bridal shops before my maid of honor suggested I come to Monica's Bridal. Once there, not only does the shop make you feel like a princess the staff actually makes you feel the same. I've worked with Mrs. Dora, the diva Mary, the beautiful Monica, and her gorgeous mother Lila, each one gave their personal expertise and that's what I love about the bridal shop. I'm purchasing two of their custom gowns and my mother is also getting her gown from Monica's. If you want excellent service and staff with expertise, make sure you go to Monica's Bridal!!!!

This was the best wedding dress shopping experience. The salon is beautiful and large with a great selection. For my appointment they were extremely professional and provided a fantastic service. There are no long lines and it doesn't have a warehouse feel. All the staff is amazing with a sweet and professional seamstress.

I found my dress at Monica's Bridal. I visited the salon twice before I purchased my gown. The staff was very knowledgable. I came in thinking I wanted one type of dress but my consultant that day, Lauren showed me a dress I previously overlooked and urged me to try it on. I fell in love! The price was reasonable and they accommodate any budget. The seamstress was very knowledgable. She listened to my concerns and eased my fears. The dress fit perfectly and I was so happy I went to Monica's Bridal!

I got my wedding dress at Monica's Bridal. I was very impressed with their service. I bought my dress few months before the wedding. Over that time I lost 30 pounds. I was advised not top do the alteration until 2-3 weeks before the wedding. This way I don't have to pay for the alterations twice as well. I was concern that I'll be very tight on time but was assured that all will be done on time. I'm am very happy to say that Monica's Bridal did an outstanding job!!! My dress was ready in 2 weeks. My brother is getting married this summer and I was recommending Monica's Bridal to my future sister in law. She end up buying a dress there as well.

I went to Monica's Bridal to find my dream Wedding Gown. From the moment you walk in, you are waited on hand and foot. The staff is very courteous and respectful, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The bridal salon itself is absolutely gorgeous....you really feel like a queen! I am now preparing for my final fitting, and am actually sad that my journey with Monica's Bridal is coming to a close. My experience there from start to finish was without stress and worry. They took care of everything for me and were honest too! Trying on dozens of dresses and veils can be confusing for any bride, and the staff at Monica's Bridal was helpful in the best ways. I will be sure to recommend Monica's Bridal in the future!

I went to Monica's because the bridal shop I had intended to go to was closed the day I decided to look for a dress. While the staff isn't as effusive as some bridal salons, they know their stuff and get the job done. I tried on 2 dresses, explained to Dora what I liked about each-- and then she pulled a dress for me, which I bought, that had the characteristics I described. The shop has been dealing with my mom since I live out of town and she says they are wonderful. I will update after my final fitting, but so far I have only positive things to say about Monica's Bridal. Oh... To add, their price was very reasonable on the dress I wanted, but when I found it at one other place cheaper-- they met the price! Fantastic!

I came here a few months before my wedding because I needed a different dress. The consultant, Marguerite, was phenomenal. She chose a dress for me that was beyond gorgeous and fit my body perfectly. I highly recommend.

First of all Monica's Bridal screams napoleon rennaissance era! the bling the damask couch the ambiance is a bride's paradise.

Back to Dora, she is by far the best sale person I have ever dealt with, not money hungry, very patient and she LISTENED and on her first try...the very first dress...she found "The One" forget Kleinfelds and the rest Monica's Bridal's selection is enough, need not go anywhere else!

Oh and my dress was ONLY $1000. LOVED IT!

Although I did not purchase my dress yet. I would like to give my input on the professional, helping and courteous staff working at Monica's Bridal. All the women working were helpful, my sales woman was so nice & wonderful, it was a sole pleasure. The lovely girl at the front desk answered my million questions and was so great. After many horrifying experiences in other stores this was definitely the best store I went to with superb customer service. I normally don't write reviews but everyone in Monica's Bridal was fantastic. I will be coming back with my family to purchase te dress for my summer wedding.

They were wonderful, everything was perfect. I ordered my dress a year before my wedding and went for my first fitting about six months before, and it was perfect. My dress was from Monica's private collection it was the "Stella" I asked them if they could change the lace and they came out with three different spools to choose from. I also asked them to add more Crystals and there was no problem. I would recomend them to everyone, they were wonderful!!

Beautiful selection of the most fashion forward gowns, evening dresses, and accessories for your big day. This family run establishment runs their magnificent store with great detail, responsiveness, and passion. My wedding gown was made by their superb dress makers....it fit my body like a glove. I finally purchased a beautiful St. Pucchi wedding gown that I fell in love with, after months of desperately searching for one. The only trouble was, there were so many things I wanted out of my perfect gown that I needed a magician to make all these changes. Thats when I met Liliana the owner of Monicas Bridal. She was creating a gown for my mom-in-law to wear on my wedding day and judging by the sensational ravings from my future mom, I knew I can trust her. To make a long story short, Liliana transformed my already gorgeous gown into a fairytale-imagination-come-to-life masterpiece. She created a matching choker, a breathtaking corset and altered a gown that must of weigh 20 lb (of layers of skirt alone). She modified my skirt into the puffiest wedding gown imaginable. For my mom-in-law, she created a mermaid looking gown that belonged in a fashion catalog. She put in so much work, detail and creativity into it that we couldnt believe that it was wearable, my mom looked truly amazing !

I went to Monica's Bridal to find my wedding dress and had the pleasure of meeting Daisy. She was very friendly and made our whole group feel very comfortable looking for dresses. The place itself was beautiful and had a large selection of dresses, and I was able to try on every single dress that caught my eye. Daisy allowed all of my friends to help pick out dresses for me, and she gave her opinion when asked. As soon as Daisy saw that I liked my dress, she drew up a contract for me and before I knew it, I had my wedding dress. The staff is professional and helpful and I would recommend coming here to look for dresses as they have a large selection and a knowledgable staff. They told me my dress should be ready 2-1.5 months before my wedding and that alterations will be made after it comes in. (A side note- if you want to make an appointment for Sunday, they require you to leave your credit card information in order to charge a fee if you don't come to the appointment. My credit card was not charged because I kept the appointment)

The place is absolutely beautiful ! They have a huge selection of stunning dresses for any body type and any style you can think of for very reasonable prices. The receptionist is a little rude but the sales girls and other employees are very nice and make you feel special. I even got dressed there the day of my wedding and they made me feel like a princess. My mother also got her dress there and it was beyond beautiful. Highly recommended !

The people there are so flexible and willing to work with you to accomplish the ideal dress you had in mind. When I went in I had one dress in mind and they helped me find the better solution to having my dress just the way I wanted for my religious wedding. They are very creative so it was easy for them to suggest creative and beautiful details to my dress.

Every bride dreams of her dress and the experience of choosing a dress. I went to about 5 stores and my favorite experience was in Monica's Bridal! The selection was vast and the dresses were gorgeous. The fitting rooms are large and private. You feel like a princess. Also... very affordable!

The only negative thing was when i came back for my 1st fitting, the alternations were a bit off and the bottom of the dress was uneven. We had to argue with the seamstress a bit because she didnt seem to see the problem. Once everything was settled and decided on, they called us back the NEXT DAY to come if for my 2nd fitting and the dress was perfect.

I found my dream wedding ball gown by "Demetrios" at "Monica's Bridal" in Brooklyn. It had the same brand name gown as sold in Macy's, but for much cheaper. The bridal salon worked with me to tailor unique alterations and make the gown one of a kind.

Monica's bridal is a beautiful place to go for your needs. When i walked in, i felt like a princess. The architecture of the building is so beautiful and the set up is astonishing. the salon is over an hour away from my home but i found my dress there for $1000 less than everywhere else initially. The ordering process was easy and because they didn't have my dress in the store when i got there (they sold the one the had that day), they gave me further discount so I was happy with their flexibility because i had traveled there. The alterations were done beautifully and they were great. The only negative thing i can say is they weren't always very responsive. If you called and were waiting for a call back, you would most likely have to call again before getting one and the young receptionist sometimes found her phone more interesting that her job...and you'd kind of be like..uhh hi...i'm here lol. and if you are looking for custom made - they are it!!! But overall, good job! I'd definitely refer anyone i know to them.

They have beautiful gowns, and although the staff is "nice" all they care about is your money. Each time i was tended to by a different sales person, and every question was answered differently by each staff member. I bought a petticoat and they tried to make me go home with a different one when I came to pick it up. My dress was ordered at least 5 sizes too big and they tried to make me believe that I lost so much weight!

After searching everywhere for the right dress, I found it at Monica's Bridal. I was skeptical walking in as many people told me of their rude staff and pushy seamstress. I still walked in with an open mind. As I approached, I noticed a coldness in the receptionist but also observed that this lasted only the first time I was there. I had a wonderful lady help me try on the dresses and she was honest about what looked good and what didn't. I knew the honesty was there when I tried on a $4,000 dress and she told me it wasn't for me.

However, once I purchased my dress and went for my fittings, I began to see what everyone else was talking about. The seamstress was pushy in telling me where to take the dress in and that I should add many more layers of tooling. I was turned off by it and made sure that I let her know my expectations. Once I went for the second fitting, the dress was still big and needed to be taken in again. The seamstress seamed annoyed and aggravated and told me to stop losing weight. I ignored that but became very agitated with my bridesmaids after I was told that I would have to pay an additional alteration fee on top of the $350 I had already given.

I realized that their contracts are not clear and thus, they are able to swindle more money from brides. The company knows that most brides will lose weight before the big day.

While I loved my dress, and the woman who helped me find it, I found that the company's policy on alterations and their seamstress are less than to be desired.

I had my wedding dress custom made here. The dress was so beautiful but the quality was terrible. The tool from my dress kept getting caught in the beading and was tearing every time I sat down. When people would come to hug or kiss me, their clothing also got torn from the poor quality beading. I spent a lot of money here and expected these things not to be a concern. I would go to Monica's Bridal again but not for anything custom made.

Monica's bridal is beautiful, with many selections. I absolutely loved my consultant, Dora - very knowledgeable and will help you find the dress you are looking for.
However, I did not have a good experience with the alterations. Yes, the additions they made to my gown were what I wanted and were gorgeous...but the bottom of my dress completely fell apart after the wedding ceremony. My bustle wouldn't hold up...the dress fell at the waist line; it lose its "puffiness" even though I also bought a crinoline skirt...overall; for the amount this business charges, the work should have been far more superior then it was.

After looking for my dress in about a dozen places I finally found my wedding dress here.
The price was reasonable. I found my dress about $300 less online, but I felt
a lot more comfortable trying on the dress and buying it from a store. Monica's Bridal
Store itself is beauitful, they call it the Kleinfeld's of Brooklyn. Thank goodness that
Margaret was my salesperson, she was sweet, experienced and patient. We felt
that the rest of the staff at this store really needs a lesson in customer service skills.
We witnessed some unprofessional behaviors the two times that we were in the store. When my dress came in (about a week or two after my quoted date)and I wanted to come in for my fitting on any given Saturday I was told that I cant come in because its their busy day. I felt as though I was a second class customer since I already bought my dress. When I finally made an appointment to come in at 2pm on Friday (zero flexibility on Monica's Bridal part, I had to leave work early), my dress looked beautiful it didnt need much work but the cost of heming was a lot more expensive than the cost of other places so I decided toget the dress hemed elsewhere. Overall the dresses at the store are very nice, service isnt very pleasant, and the prices are OK, I would say in the $1000 and up range.

The sales team members were extra friendly during the initial consultation but once they have your money they are not that accommodating. be careful when they take your measurement they took mine three time and still got it wrong which required to have the dress shorten. If I could do it again I would have started there for the comfort and privacy made a dress choice and then went to one of the bigger stores for a better price.

Initially I was so happy to visit Monica's bridal after always passing by the store staring into the windows with amazement for many years but that all changed after I bought the dress. Very private and clean which is about the only thing. My consultant Dora was great. She stayed within my budget and never rushed me. U can def finally a dream dress here but how I wish I bought the dress somewhere else so the I could have had better service. All the young girls are extremely snobby. Alteration may be expensive but done right. Downfall is the horrible alteration schedule they have I had to leave work early to get it done. I only found better boutiques in Brooklyn after I bought the dress. And honestly my low rating is due to the service. Besides my consultant every young girl there does not make you feel comfortable. I was so happy the day I picked up the dress knowing id never have to see those girls again! What a shame

Bait and Switch

Monica's bridal was recommended by all my friends who bought dresses for their daughters and had a great experience. The also told me to be prepared as far as the budget. So we made an appointment and went to get a dress as the wedding is pretty soon. We told the consultant what our budget was. Long story short, the consultant made my daughter fall in love with the dress. I was about to buy the entire package (Veil and the Broach) when the consultant told us the price of the dress, it was $4500 over our budget and our budget was not small. I have 4 daughters and this will be the first and last time I will go to them for a dress. This was horrible experience, even though the manager did try to work with us. With that said, ladies before trying the dress on, make sure it is with in your budget or you will come out of ther just as disappointed as my daughter.

Horrible experience!

Sample dresses are dirty and doesn’t smell well . Sales consultants doesn’t know their job ! How to help costumers to make a right choice. In Monica’s Bridal workers only know how to push on people so they can make money . So disappointed

Where do I begin.....
In terms of finding a gorgeous wedding dress, I did find one that I LOVED at Monica's which was a pronovia's design. Aside from that my experience at Monica's Bridal was quite upsetting. Excluding the young girls that work the front desk and young consultants that I had at my fittings with, the other staff members I encountered were rude, heartless, pushy and in a rush to get you out of the store as soon as you made your final payments. I was assured that I could have as many alterations as needed before walking out with my dress. The day I came for my fitting following my 1st alteration, I had noticed a hole in the mesh appliqué of the bodice of the dress, which I pointed out to the seamstress to have it fixed. The seamstress responded "that's the way it's suppose to be, you just don't understand" ,I rebutted that having holes in a dress is in fact not that way it should be, she gave attitude and stormed out on me offended by my criticism. When my family questioned something else regarding the fit of the dress the main lady of the store (blonde short hair with blue tooth attached to her ear) also became nasty and gave attitude to my mom and mother-in-law instead of offering solutions. Additionally, I was in need of a birdcage veil, which I asked to be custom made based on a picture I had given to them. Not only did the main lady charge me an arm and a leg for the piece of rag that she sold me (making a 200% profit off the sale) but when I was extremely unhappy with the outcome of the veil, again I was received with attitude that I don't understand anything that my hair dresser will figure everything out and she pushed every lie in our face to get rid of us as soon as possible. Basically, they kiss you’re A**, take your money and then push you out the door regardless of whether you are happy or not with your purchase. That main lady (blonde short hair with ear piece) is nasty, totally unprofessional. If you love pronovia's get it elsewhere.

Had a very bad experience there. I found a perfect dress that I had to purchase of the rack bec. my ceremony is soon. When I was buying the dress, seamstress came and said I will have to pay $250 for alterations which I agreed. When I came for the first fitting another seamstress told me to pay additional $100. I got upset and decided if I have to pay I will pay someone else. So I told them to do the bustle, apparently that was $250 charge, and I will take the dress. Someone picked up the dress for me and guess what? The bustle was not done. Very unprofessional. I must give a credit to Daisy, the salesperson, she was great and very helpfull. To bad she works with bunch of liers
