Our pre-wedding photos were to start at 3:30pm, so Monica and her assistant were at the venue by 10am to get started. Myself and 4 bridesmaids were to have hair and make up done so I was a little worried about the time frame, but between Monica and her assistant working together with the ladies doing hair, everything ran very smoothly which I was very relieved about. Also with each girl that sat down in her makeup chair, she asked them up front their do’s and dont’s which put us at ease. It was nice she took the time to talk with each of us before starting and the final results showed. Each girls make up was a little different to accentuate their features. Then I saw my final look and I was beyond happy. She also took a before and after photo too which was pretty amazing! During the process she was easy to talk to and had a good sense of humor about things which helped with my nervousness about the whole day. She was prompt, prepared, open to preferences, and all with a very positive attitude and the best part of all being affordable. All of us looked very glitz and glamour which made the pics come out beautifully. She even made these little containers for each of the girls that had extra lip color to reapply throughout the night! I would highly recommend Monica Hayes for any kind of make up needs, she’s the best!

Monica was such a pleasure to work with!! I hired Monica for bridal makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. She was super flexible and easy to work with and was able to arrange an assistant so all 7 of us could have our makeup done in a few hours. Monica and her assistant were a great addition to our getting ready party. Friendly, funny and down to earth. Most importantly, everyone looked beautiful and loved their makeup! -

Monica made both my mother and MIL feel comfortable, confident and beautiful as two people who aren’t used to full-face makeup. As for myself, I love the natural look Monica gave me that looked effortless and perfect for our intimate 10AM backyard ceremony and lasted all the way through dinner and into the evening - all on a hot July day in Florida! -

Monica is a genius. She and Ansley did the hair and makeup for my wedding and it couldn't have been a better experience. Monica is incredibly responsive, which made planning and trial runs ahead of the wedding truly seamless. She's also just so talented. All of the women in my group wanted to look natural but improved in a way I thought only a filter could deliver. However, old and young, Monica nailed exactly what everyone requested. I feel so lucky to have found her and her team. They were a big part of making my perfect wedding a reality. -

Monica is an amazing talent and so incredibly sweet an amazing to work with. She is super responsive, and my mom and I had the best time hanging out with her and getting to know her during the trial. Everyone in our wedding party was thrilled with their makeup- her products are premium, which is apparent as soon as she opens her makeup case.
Our hairdresser got Covid and had to cancel the day before our wedding- the hairdresser's secretary said she was looking for a replacement, but we were in a panic. My mom called Monica to see if she knew anyone, and she was already coordinating with the salon that cancelled and reaching out to her contacts in to help find a replacement. Everything worked out for the best, but I was so touched that she was on our team and did that for us. Monica is a great addition to any bridal suite getting-ready time and did looks for my wedding that ranged from natural to fuller coverage depending on what people asked for- she even generously gave us small containers of products to reapply throughout the day. I highly recommend Monica! -

Monica did my makeup (and my mom's) for my wedding and it was amazing. She was also really friendly and made me feel really comfortable through the whole process. Scheduling with her was really easy too. On the day of she came to my mom's house to do our makeup. I would definitely recommend her to others!!! -

Monica did an absolutely stunning job with my wedding make-up! I wanted a classic, pin-up look and Monica was able to deliver exactly that - she was able to make me look and feel elegant for the occasion while still feeling like myself. And what's more is she was incredibly personable and so great to work with! She really put me at ease with both her personality and her knowledge of make-up application. Any questions I had, she was there to answer, address, and tweak anything that was needed to accommodate the look that I wanted. It was a true joy having her to work with on the most important day of my life! -

Monica did an amazing job for the makeup for myself (bride), my 5 bridesmaids, and mothers of bride and groom. She was quick to communicate throughout the whole planning process and was flexible as my schedule changed. She arrived promptly on the wedding morning to our private location to get ready at. She made everyone look stunning, and all with a smile (under the safety of a mask, that is!) I was extra impressed with her application of fake lashes- they felt and looked so natural. I would recommend her to any bride in the area! -

I found Monica on a vendor list from my wedding coordinator. I contacted Monica back in May of this year to do a trial run for our engagement pictures at Driftwood Beach, Georgia. She was very quick to respond and came right to my condo at Villas By The Sea Resort. She uses quality airbrush makeup as well as primers, eye shadow, lipstick, etc. Right after the trial run I knew instantly that I wanted her to do my makeup for our wedding this month (09/19/2020). Monica was super helpful and responsive before, during and after our big day. She always stayed on top of things and made sure I had everything I wanted for our big day. She did my makeup and 4 of my bridesmaids makeup the day of our wedding. She took everything I asked her to do and created the exact look I wanted for my big day. She asked each bridesmaid as well what they wanted and made them look as beautiful as myself. Monica is very patient and kind. I absolutely recommend using her for trial run makeup, wedding makeup and all other makeup services she has to offer. She was fantastic and made me feel honestly the most beautiful I’ve ever felt with makeup on. Monica, again, thank you so much again for everything. 😊 -

Monica was amazing to work with! She did my makeup for my wedding, and I had gone to see her for a trial 4 months before the big day. The day-of looked EXACTLY like my finished look from my trial. Really amazing! I got so many compliments, and am so happy I got the chance to work with such a lovely and talented make-up artist. If you are looking for someone that's flexible, and does a fantastic job with a natural look (but can glam it up if you want), this is your woman! -

It was definitely hard planning for the wedding from so far away, but Monica put me at ease and was a breeze to work with throughout! It was a pleasure to have her with us day-of - I was a bundle of nerves, but she had a very chill energy, which helped tremendously.
I really appreciated that she took my rather vague directions and guidelines, and made me look truly stunning! I don’t wear make-up very often, and I was worried about feeling like I had make-up caked on - which is how I usually feel when I wear it. With what Monica did, though, I didn’t feel like I was wearing make-up at all; I felt very comfortable, and beautiful.
I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out, and she even finished up with all of us ahead of schedule - which allowed me to get some amazing bridal portraits with my photographer that I otherwise might not have gotten. -

Monica is a very neat makeup artist and very organized with her materials. Before the big day, Monica created a schedule to coordinate makeup application with hair appointments. Monica was very good with her time management! She was so pleasant to work with all day. Not to mention all the bridesmaids looked AMAZING! Monica highlights natural beauty and is wonderful at choosing flattering color shades for people. (She even covered up my friends scar on her arm!) I highly recommend Monica Hayes Makeup!

Becca Sent on 07/31/2018Monica is seriously the best!! Monica has done my makeup in the past for a photo-shoot, and I knew she was the one for my wedding makeup! Monica did my makeup and 9 other members in our wedding party. I can't say enough wonderful thing about Monica and her skills. We all got lots of compliments on our makeup. She even includes lashes in her price. The lip color she picked for everyone was on point too. We all loved our lips. Monica is punctual, professional, laid back, and so talented! I know I will use her again in the future.
