Recently collaborated with Mikala Fox from M.A.E. and she absolutely rocked the event! As a Professional Wedding Officiant, I cross paths with a lot of planners & coordinators, and right away Mikala proved to be one of the best. So organized, so friendly, so dialed in to the details, in-tune with the couple and also ... so chill! You want a coordinator that takes all the pressure off so that you can enjoy being present at your event, and that's exactly what she did. Mikala and Monge Amore are exceptional. Mikala was our day of coordinator and truly an absolute angel! From our very first Zoom call, she was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about weddings. We immediately knew she was the perfect fit! She went above and beyond every step of the way and made us feel like we were her top priority.
The timeline she created was seamless and kept everything running perfectly. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I felt completely stress free because I trusted Mikala and her team so much. On the big day, everything flowed effortlessly, and it truly felt like magic, and that is all thanks to her.
We will always look back on our wedding as one of the best days of our lives, and Mikala played such a huge role in making that happen. We feel so lucky to have found her and Monge Amore Events. We cannot thank them enough for making our day absolutely perfect! -

From the moment I had my first meeting with Mikala at Monge Amore Events it was absolutely love at first sight. We instantly clicked. She made me feel at ease and heard. I had a list of questions for her and she answered them all before I had a chance to even ask them. She is so sweet, so knowledgeable and proactive. Leading up to my wedding, I had zero stress. And that’s all thanks to her and her incredible team. The day of my wedding went amazing. I wasn’t made aware of any issues and I’m sure there was at least one. Because Mikala and her two assistants Regina and Julia absolutely took over. The timeline was flawless, I was able to have the time of my life with not a care in the world. They all take their role extremely serious and will be sure to make your day a dream. There are not enough words for the impact they all had on me. I got so many compliments on how organized the day felt. I can’t rave enough about this group of ladies!!!! You will not go wrong going with Monge Amore Events. Please please please trust me. -

Working with Taylor was truly one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. From the very beginning, she took the time to really get to know us and understand our vision, which made everything feel incredibly personal and intentional.
Throughout planning, Taylor was extremely organized and on top of every detail. She seamlessly handled communication and coordination with all of our vendors, ensuring everything was aligned—from insurance and timelines to setup and rehearsals. We were especially grateful for her familiarity with our venue, which gave us so much confidence going into the big day.
Because of scheduling constraints, I wasn’t able to be involved in any of the setup, so I had to fully trust Taylor to bring everything to life—and she exceeded every expectation. Everything was executed exactly as I had envisioned, down to the smallest details.
Our wedding day felt absolutely perfect and ran so smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We received so many compliments from our guests, and we truly credit Taylor for making it all happen.

Working with Ashley and the entire Monge team was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. We initially had trouble finding a planner that could accommodate everything we were looking for but from the moment we met Ashley we knew right away that she was the planner for us!! From day one, she brought an incredible combination of professionalism, warmth, and creativity that instantly put us at ease. Every detail, big or small, was handled with such care and precision that it made us feel so valued and important! We never had a worry working with Monge Amore Events and when the big day came everything went off perfectly! Ashley is truly Wonder Woman when it comes to planning weddings!

My now HUSBAND, Micheal and I had the most incredible wedding! And this could only be possible with selecting the right vendor team for us. From signing on with Taylor, to day of execution, she was organized, thorough and efficient. She provided detailed lists and materials for us to consider during our planning process. As a Type A bride her organization was so helpful and clear to help stay on track to wedding day. Her and her husband were such a great team and really helped bring our blended version of classic meets edgy to life! If there were any hiccups that day, I surely didn't know about it, and that is such a testament to her level of professionalism and how the day was handled. Do not skip out on a planner, it is such a relief to entrust a special day with a qualified and professional team. Highly recommend Monge Amore Events for your planning services!

Mikala is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and truly handles everything from start to finish. I never once worried about things slipping through the cracks because she was always ten steps ahead. At some point, I stopped stressing about the to-do list and just looked to Mikala for what came next because she always knew exactly what needed to happen. Her experience and knowledge were invaluable. Anytime we had an idea or vision, she worked with us to make it happen in the best and most seamless way possible.
Mikala is also so warm and approachable, which made it easy to ask her all our questions (even the dumb ones). It always felt like chatting with a friend instead of a vendor, which made the entire process so much less stressful. Communication was flawless. She replied quickly to emails and texts and was always happy to hop on a call when needed.
On the wedding day, Mikala was the absolute MVP. Every last-minute issue was met with her calm "don't worry, I've got this," and she truly did. She and her team had everything handled so perfectly that we didn't have to lift a finger. We got to enjoy every second of our wedding and literally ride off into the sunset (because they packed everything up for us at the end of the night!!). We will forever be grateful. So much love for Mikala! 💕 -

A Literal Stress-Free Wedding!
Working with MAE was absolutely magical!! We were lucky enough to have Taylor work with us as our wedding coordinator. Taylor made those last bits of wedding planning so stress free. She was the ‘Type A’ queen that every bride needs. She seamlessly communicated and worked with all of our other vendors, so it took such a weight off of our shoulders. Taylor met with us whenever we needed her and helped us with basically any question we had about planning our wedding. Something we really loved about MAE was also that they often work closely with so many popular venues in Southern California. Our wedding venue had worked with MAE so many times, which was amazing for so many reasons. We felt like we were in the best hands from start to finish. Taylor and her team set up ALL of our wedding decor as well on the day of. I curated tons of decor (between lamps, signage, staging props, etc) so I was always a little worried that we’d probably need to send a bridesmaid or groomsman to help set up, but Taylor and her team handled everything perfectly and precisely. We are still so grateful for Taylor and the entire MAE team and how they truly were a huge reason why our day was absolutely perfect. I had always tempered expectations for our actual wedding day, because it’s natural that some things will go differently than you expected - However, we literally had a perfect day. My husband and I have only beautiful memories from our wedding day and I cannot believe how lucky we are to be able to say that. -

We had the pleasure of working with Taylor on 1/25/25 and are so grateful for her expertise. From the moment we met with her, I felt the stress and pressure of the wedding day melt away. I (the bride) was most stressed with how to plan the logistics for the day of and Taylor handled it with clear communication and support and from that day I knew we were going to be well taken care of. On the day of, Taylor went above and beyond to help us enjoy our day and truly thought about the small details - like saving some appetizers for the bride and groom so we wouldn't go hungry ;) She also handled a change in the speech schedule, and the addition of an extra guest with so much grace that the guests did not notice anything - which in turn helped us stay calm. We are beyond grateful for Taylor's work and professionalism and if you want peace of mind on your wedding day, I cannot recommend M.A.E and Taylor enough! -

As a fellow vendor, we tend to be much more crucial/particular about what other vendors and who we choose to work with....well I must say I was absolutely blown away with Mikayla + Taylor. I was lucky enough to work with these ladies on back to back events this past month and my job was made even easier working with these ladies.
Their communication was clear and timely, which made collaborating so smooth and stress-free. On the big day, they showed up early, were fully prepared, and handled every detail with care and grace. It’s easy to see how much heart they put into their work — and it shows in the final result!

We booked with MAE after a recommendation from a friend and it was 1000% worth it. They made the process so easy and left room for options while providing their expert opinion. Taylor was a dream to work with at Casa Romantica and knew the place and flows for other events. Day of, she and Mikayla were professional, kind, and fun! They solved problems before anyone knew things were wrong and loaded up our car for us at the end of the night so we literally did not need to worry about a thing. Our wedding day was a dream because of their hard work!

From the first phone call to the end of the incredible reception. Ashely navigated us through every aspect of our wedding . She and her crew Mikala fashioned marvelous signage , the welcome signage is standing in our homes entry. Ashely was very detailed in every aspect especially coordinating all of the vendors. MAE was one of the best investments of our whole wedding. We used their day/month of services which really started about 4-6 months before the wedding. We also added on an additional day of helper so we landed with 3 lovely MAE girls at our wedding reception. To start this off this was one of our last vendors that we brought on because our wedding location required at least a day of coordinator (Rancho Las Lomas). And on top of that what we had in our budget for this service was under where the market rate was falling. So, we came into this a little skeptical on adding the service. However, when it was all said and done it was the best investment and I cannot say enough times how AMAZING the MAE team was for our wedding.
They were extremely helpful in the planning process for the last minute things we were not thinking of and even better super quick with their responses. They assisted us with the tasting for our catering, the final walkthrough with our venue, coordinating and organizing the last few things with our vendors, preparing our day of timeline, and just being helpful for any other questions we needed. If the prep was not enough the day of they could not have been more helpful.
Kylia and Ashley worked with all our vendors to ensure everything was set up and ready to go, helped our guests, and most importantly were so attentive to us during the reception that by the time we sat down for dinner myself and my husband were actually a bit full because we had too many appetizers (literally unheard of). If you are on the fence about getting a coordinator or who to get you should for sure do it and 100% need to go with MAE. -

Amazing Planners!
We used their Wedding Event Coordination service and it was spectacular. Taylor was the lead on our event and she carried the whole team on her back. They are extremely professional and communicative. It is very obvious that they are experts in their field. The level of attention and care that we received for our event - and we just had the wedding event coordination! I can only imagine how amazing their full planning services are. They provide so many tips, helpful documents, suggested vendors, etc. They work seamlessly with your vendors and truly take care of everything on your special day. My mind was at EASE knowing that Taylor would NEVER let something go wrong on the day of. If you're on the fence on whether or not you really need a planner - trust me, you need it! -

My experience with Monge Amore is they are professional and have a lot experience. Taylor was my assigned day of coordinator and she was awesome. She guided and supported me all the way up until my wedding. I think because she is organized and prepared and asked the right questions, I can confident say that my wedding turned out perfectly without much hiccups. My guests were very impressive with everything and my in laws were so happy for their son.
My wedding was at Casa Romantica in May 2024. Casa Romantica is a small venue beautiful in San Clemente, they are only a venue not an all inclusive place. Casa Romantica has been around for a long time and they have a vetted quality list of required vendor list/recommended vendor list. The reason I chose Monge Amore is because of that trusted list.
Another reason, I chose Monge Amore is because they did a beautiful photo shoot for Casa Romantica. The venue had just experienced a devastating landslide and Casa Romantica asked Monge Amore to come up with a Mock Wedding to advertise their venue to show that couples can still have a beautiful wedding there. I saw this Mock Wedding photos and fell in love. After research and finding a list of all of the vendors used in this shoot, it solidify my decision to choose Monge Amore.
I contacted Monge Amore sometime in August 2023 requesting a day of coordinator. Taylor introduced herself over email and sent me a packet to fill out to prepare for my wedding. She wanted to know all the details about everything, and got me thinking of things to consider & asked all the right questions. We had a zoom call early January to discuss it all. As the wedding got closer we have another call to finalize the list and ask questions. She was always available and responsive if I had any question or needed advice. Taylor exceeded my expectations.
Part of my wedding, I did the decor myself and Taylor was in charge of setting it all up on wedding day. I made her a list of everything and where to put it. She has a creative eye and made it look beautiful. On the wedding day, like I said, everything ran exactly as we discussed and planned and I was worry free as a bride thanks to Taylor and her team.
For me, it was important to have a day of coordinator that was always thinking ahead and is well ready for wedding day. She did a great job and would highly recommend for future brides. Thank you so much Taylor and wishing you all a wonderful and successful wedding day just as I had! -

I can’t say thank you enough to Mikala Fox! Our wedding was this June, and despite some crazy heat, we had the best time. When we started looking for coordinators, our priority was to find someone not just great at what they do, but someone kind and fun who could simply be our built-in-bestie throughout this whole process! Weddings can be so overwhelming, especially if you're not huge on being center of attention like we are. But Mikala and her day-of assistant, Regina, made us feel so at home. Leading up to the wedding, she was always easy to get ahold of and very detail oriented, which I absolutely loved! She listened so well and tailored our special day to what was important to us, as we veered away from super traditional. My husband Ryan and I were married in April in Southern California and had the great fortune of having Taylor as our wedding planner. What makes her a wonderful planner is not just that she is organized, knowledgeable, responsive, creative, and an excellent communicator (because she is ALL of those things and then some) -but who she is as a person as well. She brought kindness, warmth, patience, and understanding to the entire process. She took such amazing care of us and our families and was there for us every step of the way during planning and the day of. Having Taylor coordinating the day of the wedding provided such relief and really allowed us to sit back and enjoy our wedding day with complete confidence she had everything under control. My dad best explained having Taylor as our wedding planner as feeling like a dear friend or family member who knew exactly what to do at every turn. We were fortunate enough to work with Taylor, from Monge Amore events. We booked Taylor as our day of wedding planner/coordinator. Although, we only booked her for the day of, she was very responsive and resourceful in providing vendor recommendations and sharing all her pro tips! Ashley and her team at MAE are the sweetest group of professional women. I had the pleasure of working directly with Ashley who is well known in the industry. We got married at Ole Hanson Beach Club in San Clemente, CA and it was so helpful to have Ashley, who has managed countless weddings at our venue, there with us to organize the chaos on our big day. We chose Ashley's "Event Coordination" package which unlike other "month-out" or "day-of-coordinators" she is with you from the moment you sign your contract - this is what sold me on the MAE team! Ashley and team were able to manage our 22 person bridal party, families and 150 guests seamlessly the day of the wedding. As far as I know, everything went according to plan and we have MAE to thank for a stress-free wedding day! We even had a bit of family drama a couple days leading up to the wedding which caused us to make some last minute changes the day of our rehearsal. Ashley made me feel so comforted as if this sort of thing happens all the time - she really is the best! -

Planning a wedding in 4 months is absolutely ridiculous but Mikala with MAE made it very seamless. I decided to use her as our wedding coordinator being that I’m very type A and wanted to handle a lot of the planning to myself. Mikala was able to help my vision come to life and get the details just perfectly so that our day can be spent enjoying the beyond quick event, instead of worrying about anything. Some coordinators will not talk with you until week of your wedding or even the day before, but Mikala along side MAE let me know that the second I signed with them, I was free to converse with them and get advice etc. Dealing with brides and families of those getting married could be so stressful but I didn’t see her break a sweat once. Having Mikala as your coordinator is like having a great Maid of Honor who helps everything behind the scenes. I’m hoping to never get married again as I did find the love of my life but if I did, I would hire Mikala Fox and the team at MAE again. -

Mikala Went Above And Beyond All Expectations!
Where do I start? Hiring Mikala was the best thing I did. Under a serious time crunch, Mikala made my day seamless and absolutely magical. My original coordinator had a family emergency come up and a few weeks before my wedding let me know he would not be able to coordinate my wedding. Needless to say, I absolutely panicked and started reaching out to vendors to try and find a coordinator who was available (and willing) to help coordinate my wedding that was weeks away. Mikala came highly recommended from another coordinator that wasn’t available (already speaking volumes). I spoke with Mikala the next day and knew she was perfect. A few days after my first email to Mikala, on literally less than one full business days notice, she made time to attend my final details meeting with my caterer/venue. She had great input and really helped referee between my mom and I (a recurring theme). She then met with my now husband and I and put together a detailed timeline. I received an extremely detailed email with a VERY comprehensive package of documents Mikala had put together for my wedding. In the weeks leading up to my wedding, Mikala did months worth of work. She contacted every vendor, coordinated vendor meals, timelines, insurance for our venue, and a million other things I’m sure I was not even looped in on. On the day of my wedding, Mikala and her team were equally as stellar. She was everywhere I turned when I needed her. As just one example, I DIYd way too much, and I hadn’t printed name cards, so I brought pens and cards to the venue hoping my bridesmaids would help me write 180 names on place cards - my final DIY detail. I don’t even know when, but her team literally took the pens and cards and when I walked through my reception space on my way to walk down the aisle, every seat had a name card. I cannot stress enough when I say that Mikala and her team made my day seamless, magical, and came through at every turn and absolutely killed it. Mikala is a go-getter, a problem solver, and she is passionate about what she does and it shows. This is the person you want in your corner on the most special day of your life. I’m overwhelmed writing this as I cannot say nearly enough positive feedback about Ashley and her team at Monge Amore Events in one single review. From the moment we booked Ashley’s services over a year before our wedding, she was attentive, focused, insightful, knowledgeable, and always so positive. She really took the time to get to know my husband and I as a couple throughout this process and made our vision come to life. Three days before our wedding we experienced an unavoidable issue with the venue and Ashley came to the rescue immediately. Before I was even aware that we were going to have a change in ceremony and dance floor locations, Ashley was prepared with multiple feasible solutions and made herself available to trouble shoot (and talk me down through my hysterics) after hours. Not to mention she had little ones and a newborn at home!! Ashley, Mikaela, and Krista really shone on wedding day. They were the women behind the curtain, creating absolute magic while we were carefree and having the time of our lives. They coordinated with every vendor, the venue, the guests, the families. They flipped spaces in minutes, completely transforming the spaces to be multipurposed. They even bustled me, outfit changed me, made red wine disappear from white silk, bandaged injuries, you name it. Are you in search of a coordinator to make your big day seamless and stress free? Look no further! Ashley and Taylor were so great at facilitating our wedding and everything went so smoothly! We went with the “day of coordinator” package but it was so much more than that! Ashley was available to meet in person for our first meeting to get to know us and what our vision was for our wedding. Even during COVID and 2 postponements later, Ashley was there for us! She had such a detailed schedule for the day of, which she shared with our other vendors so everyone was on the same page. Her organization was what really sold us! Booking Ashley as our wedding coordinator was hands down the best decision my husband and I made when it came down to planning our wedding. Ashley is the most organized, kind, friendly, and amazing person -- by the end of it she literally feels like a long time friend (I miss her already!). From the moment I reached out, she was quick to respond and very transparent in her process. No other wedding planner/coordinator I spoke to had sent me all of their wedding docs up front the way Ashley did. The decision was a no brainer! She also made my husband and I feel very special the entire 1.5 years leading up to our big day by constantly showing her excitement, which just showed how much she deeply cares about her clients. She didn't hesitate to meet us in person a few months in advance of our wedding when we were in town visiting our venue (we live out of state). When our wedding day came, she kept us on track and was constantly reminding us to soak things in -- at one point she taught us a few traditions that husbands/wives do and I know I will continue to appreciate those special moments so much when I look back. Also, we booked her assistant, Taylor, to work with Ashley and don't regret it one bit! Taylor is an absolute JOY and together these two are a perfect duo. They were so helpful, constantly checking in, and even signed our guest book (which was so the sweetest surprise the next day). The two of them even helped bustle my very complicated dress when they noticed the bustle had fallen out -- I mean, c'mon, they are amazing. Planning a wedding during covid is never easy. Planning a wedding when you live 3000 miles away makes that even more difficult, unless of course you have Ashley Monge as your wedding planner.
I have never seen someone more on top of everything than Ashley. She is more of a Wedding Sherpa than just a planner. She guided us through a variety of different options and gave her expert advice on how to make something look incredible.
Our wedding ended up even better than we could have imagined. She has incredible vision when it comes to tablescaping and flow throughout the event. During the event she has the best energy and enabled my wife and I to actually enjoy our wedding to the fullest. We would have paid double with a smile on our face. She's THAT good. -

Hiring Ashley Monge of Monge Amore Events to be our wedding planner for our Plaza De Magdalena wedding in San Juan Capistrano was the truly the best decision that we could have made. She was such a joy to work with from start to finish! When you first meet Ashley you can’t help but love her bubbly, but professional personality. My then fiancé (now husband) and I met with her in person a couple of times prior to the wedding, and with Ashley in charge, the rehearsal evening went fast and smooth. Let me also note, how much I really appreciated her prompt responses to my countless numbers of emails. She is well organized and detailed-oriented, which coming from a stressed-out bride really helps. We hired Ashley only as our day of coordinator, but I wish I had hired her for more. She was so helpful with the details of the timeline, making sure I was up to date on all my vendors, and small details that I did not even think of. The day of the wedding was perfect, and all visions of my dream wedding came to life with the help of Ashley and her assistant. Her day of timeline is an amazing tool. She has all details and events down to the minute, and this really ensures that vendors, wedding party, family, the bride and the groom know what to expect and are on track throughout the day and evening. As we all ate, danced and partied at the reception, Ashley and her assistant were working behind the scenes. At the end of the night, she made sure that all decorations that we came with, guests’ gifts and the all-important wedding cake were neatly packed back in boxes ready to be put in family cars to be taken home.

Amazing - exceeded our expectations
We can’t speak highly enough of Ashley; she is an excellent wedding coordinator. As a former event planner, I understand what it takes to properly, efficiently, and professionally coordinate an event. She and her team did not miss a beat and did an amazing job with all elements of our wedding (planning, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception). Wow! What can't I say? Ashley is absolutely amazing at what she does! She is so talented, professional, kind, fun and just a delight to work with! She made all of our wedding dreams come through and worked her magic throughout the entire process. My husband and I hired her for day-of coordination. We got married in a church and had our reception elsewhere, so she handled the reception from set up to clean up and it was perfect. Aside from her day of talents, we met a couple of times leading up to the wedding and spoke via phone and email. She attended our menu tasting, set up and organized our day of timeline, communicated with our other vendors and worked directly with the reception venue event coordinator ahead of and during the wedding. She always answered questions in a prompt, timely manner, and gave straight honest answers and heartfelt advice. We were so lucky to have Ashley as our coordinator and were blown away with how professional (although we shouldn't have been surprised), and perfectly smooth our wedding day went! The biggest bonus of all is that she shares an office with the talented Sarah Mack Photo who was our photographer for our big day.
