Not only were the flowers absolutely beautiful, but Jean went above and beyond in every single way. She stayed all night to make sure everything was perfect, helped package and move florals from the ceremony to the reception, and made the whole day feel seamless. She was so sweet, so easy to work with, and genuinely cared about making our vision come to life. The most fantastic wedding florals!
Jean King ( the owner of Monarch Events) is a truly genuine and an amazing person. Her floral arrangements and artwork are beautiful. When I took my non-traditional altar idea of florals covering a big oak tree behind our ceremony site to Jean, I was met with enthusiasm and excitement. She turned this idea into the most breathtaking ceremony backdrop. She is so creative, and her work is stunning and truly shined during our wedding. Every floral arrangement was perfect and arranged with love and passion. I highly recommend Monarch Events and Design for your floral needs. -

WOW! I can not say enough good things about Jean. She was super personable and professional from beginning to end. I know nothing about flowers but had seen things online that I liked. She was able to make my vision come to life with my very little knowledge of flowers. I wanted simple but elegant, modern and bright. I got everything and more, from the bouquets, centerpieces, flowers on my arch, the boutonniere and corsage (which she put on pearl bracelets!!) She was amazing!!! Seriously, look no further and book Monarch NOW! You won't be disappointed. -

Amazing, more than we expected
Jean from monarch events and design did the florals for our wedding. We were so blown away by her work and so were our guests. From our initial consultation to our wedding day Jean was so genuine and made sure we were so happy with all of our decisions. As the bride, I somewhat knew what I wanted but couldn’t pin point exactly what I wanted. We also had a tight budget, but Jean made all my dreams come true. She was able to take all of our thoughts and make such beautiful floral pieces. All of our guests were also blown away by her work and thought we had spent 10s of thousands on our florals but Jean was so reasonable and made everything look high end and elegant. -

Flawless, easy, exceeded expectations, wonderful
Jean King (owner/florist of Monarch Events and Design) is absolutely amazing. Our florals for our wedding were exactly what I envisioned and my bouquet was a dream come true as corny as that sounds! She was even able to incorporate some orchids from my husband’s family orchid plant that his aunt had brought into my bouquet the day of the wedding! Jean is soooo kind, understanding, professional, responsive, and just does amazing work! I was so comforted knowing she was our florist and I trusted her 100% and she delivered! I am so thankful we chose her to be our florist for our big day! -

I spoke with and interviewed several florists during the wedding planning process to make sure that they could work within my budget, and that they'd be easy to work with. Jean King over exceeded my expectations in every way. She was kind, knowledgeable, creative, responsive, flexible, worked within my budget, and made everything seem easy, which was such a relief while wedding planning. And that's all before I saw the flowers....they were absolutely incredible!! I received so many compliments from guests on how beautiful Jean's arrangements were. She made the inspiration pictures I sent her come to life. Jean helps you get the exact look & feel you want, without breaking the bank. And overall is just such a joy to work with and such a positive person. I could not recommend her more and now recommend her to everyone I know (including a good friends wedding coming up in a week - selfishly I just can't wait to see her arrangements again!). Excellent, would definitely recommend!!
Jean was one of my favorite vendors to work with. I knew nothing about flowers and she was patient and so helpful with me when trying to figure out what I wanted during our first few calls. She worked with my budget and was so flexible and accommodating when I needed it. My flowers were UNREAL. When I saw them I couldn’t believe how spot on they were to what I imagined they would be. Don’t hesitate, you neeed to book with Jean!!! She is so sweet and really cares about helping create your vision! -

HANDS DOWN OUR FAVORITE VENDOR!!! Mrs. Jean King absolutely MADE our wedding! Our incredible experience with her started long before we even booked her! She was the ONLY florist/decorator that I reached out to for a quote that didn’t send me back something super generic several weeks later. Instead, she set up a call with me and spent a full hour talking every detail I had in mind to make us the most accurate quote possible. And then she helped me brainstorm out the details I hadn’t put together yet like our centerpieces. Anytime I needed her, she was a super quick phone call, text or email away. And day of, she was a rockstar! This sweet woman and her husband went above and beyond to make our day perfect! Everyone is still raving about how beautiful our wedding was and how it really turned out perfectly! None of this could be said if it weren’t for Mrs. Jean! If you need floral/decor for an event, don’t bother with anyone else! Your go-to girl is right here! And you’ll be sure of it before you even book her!

Ms. Jean not only is an outstanding florist but her attentiveness to our vision and dedication to our happiness was truly unmatched. She is very affordable and realistic for your budget. On our wedding day her team went above and beyond and filled in where needed (helping with cake decor, helping attach boutonnieres, directing flow) you can tell she knows the wedding biz. She was such a blessing on our special day and will recommend her 100 times over. She is a great communicator and kept in touch along the way and never left us hanging and wondering. Her invoice system was super easy for family members to contribute. Ms. Jean is an absolute gem and was our best vendor for our wedding. -

Jean was absolutely amazing to work with, She went above and beyond to make sure I had my dream wedding! When I first met with her I just sat down and told her all my ideas and she made everything possible. Her response time was amazing. With my wedding being in 2020 there were quite a few changes that had to be made throughout the course of the year, and Jean took care of all the changes with no hesitation! She made the whole process of wedding planning so much easier, and it was worth every penny. When it came to the actual wedding day everything was perfect and better than I could have ever imagined! It was such a pleasure to work with and get to know such lovely people, and I would recommend them to anyone that is currently planning a wedding... or any event for that matter! A Truly Amazing Company
Jean King, of Monarch Events and Design, is wonderful! She is very professional and caring. As a Mother-of-the-Bride, it was so reassuring to know that the wedding was in great hands. My daughter's wedding was postponed due to the virus. Jean was always so positive and encouraging throughout the whole re-planning process. Jean was such a blessing to our wedding!! We got married in Tampa but live in Ohio so picking vendors was very nerve racking. We received a recommendation for Jean and it was the best decision we made. We went down for a quick trip to taste our food and cake and meet with some vendors. We didn’t get Jean’s information until after we were already down there. She made time to meet with us the same day knowing that we were from out of town. As soon as we walked it, we knew we had to hire Jean! She made us feel like we were part of her family and was so friendly and personable! Every picture I showed her of what I wanted, she knew exactly what to do and how to make it all real life. We left our meeting feeling at such ease knowing she was going to take care of everything for us. During such a stressful time, she made everything so easy!! On the day of the wedding, she did not disappoint!!! My wedding was beautiful and Jean really made all my dreams/thought as/ideas come true!! Everything was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! My mom and I even had last minute ideas that we ran by her and she was willing to do whatever we wanted! She honestly was the best florist I have ever worked with! I had no stress the day of the wedding and I know it was partly because I knew Jean would take care of everything We got so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was and I know it was all because of Jean and her team!!! If you are struggling to find a florist, hire Jean!!!!! She is so amazing, wonderful, friendly, and every other complimentary word you can think of!!! You won’t regret hiring her!!!! -

Where do I even begin, there is no other florist I would recommend. Jean is the absolute best. There is no doubt about it. We just got married on 2/1/20. Our theme was let love grow so the flowers were the main focal point. We met and spoke to multiple florists to ensure we were choosing the right one for our big day. As soon as we met with Jean I knew she was exactly the right choice. She is professional, creative, she really helps whatever vision you have come to life, and you will not only walk away from the experience with a beautiful event but a good friend. The Absolute Best Thing You Can Do For Your Wedding
Jean is truly the most incredible vendor you could ever hire for your wedding. I had a vision of what I wanted on my wedding day and she made every single dream become a reality. We were married at Sunken Gardens, a very popular wedding venue in the area, and every single vendor came up to me and my husband and told us they had never seen Sunken Gardens look so beautiful in the 20+ years they have been doing weddings at the venue.
Jean is incredibly responsive, easy to work with and detail-oriented. She is so passionate about her brides' wedding day and it shows from your original consult, through every email and phone call, up until, and even after your big day.
But even better than Jean being an absolute dream come true to work with and a fairy godmother of weddings, she is the nicest woman you will ever meet. She is genuine, and treats each wedding like it is her own. I have found a forever friend in Jean, and plan on keeping in touch with her years beyond my special day.
She is a rockstar and I'm eternally grateful for all she did to make my wedding dreams come true. -

Working with Jean at Monarch was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. She was incredibly responsive, creative, and easy to work with. Her talent and attention to detail are unparalleled. I was in absolute shock when she showed up on the day of my ceremony with my bouquet and hair piece - she was able to take what I told her (even when I couldn't articulate it well), and my personality and created a bouquet that was more me than I could have ever imagined. Jean went above and beyond! My daughter shared the simplicity she would like for her wedding day, and Jean turned simplicity into elegance. The personal touch she puts on EVERYTHING can not be bought. Jean has a HUGE heart and passion for what she does. We ended up hiring Jean for not only the floral, but she handled all the rental equipment, and managed the entire reception. The BEST experience!
Monarch Events & Design was on a list of trusted vendors I was provided with through my venue. I had previously met with another florist beforehand and it was a nightmare to say the least. Then I met Jean King. Right away, she got to work with asking all of the details of my wedding. She was so consistent with emailing, texting, and calling! When we met for an in person appointment, she was the absolute sweetest! She made it a point to ask about myself, my husband, and our little family. It didn’t even feel like an appointment with a vendor, more like a family friend you’ve known forever. She asks you about every little detail and puts it into a personalized quote just for you. She reassured me numerous times that we were in good hands (I tend to be a worry wart). Fast forward to the day of our wedding... to say she knocked it out of the park with our florals would be an understatement! They were so gorgeous and exactly what I had pictured. My bouquet was a cascading bouquet with all different florals in it & it was the most beautiful bouquet I had ever seen. Jean truly made my day more magical and memorable. If you are looking for a florist, look no further— Jean is for you! She’s warm and welcoming, understanding, and affordable! You won’t get that anywhere else. I kept receiving qoutes for well over 2k for an intimate wedding of 70 ppl. I had 8 round tables plus my sweetheart table to decorate and a few high tops. The flower colors I wanted were ivory, burgendy or deep red, and sapphire blue. She was able to make my vision come to life without compromising my budget. I spent about 1800 and received 4 high and 4 low arrangements for my guest tables, greenery and a LARGE centerpeice for my table, greenery for welcome sign, 6 small cocktail table arrangments, and greenery for my aisle, plus set up and break down. Her work was beautiful and she worked with my budget. The only thing I opted to do on my own was bouqets. That helped save a few $$$. -

I was struggling with the wedding budget and previous florist quotes when the Universe presented me with Jean from Monarch Events and Design. Jean took the time to listen to what I had envisioned. I had already purchased many items on my own as I thought I would end up doing the centerpieces and florals by myself. After several emails and a meeting, she presented me with a proposal that was more affordable for us, and then made every effort make my vision into a reality. Jean was great from start to finish in preparing our wedding flowers. Flowers were not really my forte, so I let her have quite a bit of creative freedom with it and she did amazing.
