Loved our getaway car!

Monarch made our wedding day stress-free with their reliable and punctual service. The Empress car was clean, comfortable, and arrived on time. The driver was so friendly and professional, helping us relax on such a busy day. Highly recommend!

So fun to have our Exit with and great customer service!

We wanted a getaway car to make our reception exit feel special and Monarch delivered! Tom called within hours of us submitting a quote request and was easy to work with. They even showed up very early so our photographer and videographer could get shots of us with the car! We had so much fun riding off in style and sipping champagne on the way to our hotel in Downtown! They even mailed us the license plate that they had made with our last name on it as a keepsake!

Such a fun addition to our wedding!

We knew we wanted a getaway car for our wedding since we got engaged! Since our venue is in the middle of nowhere we were very limited on who we could pick for this job. Luckily Monarch Limo was amazing from beginning to end. We had to reschedule due to our original wedding being the same weekend as that crazy snowstorm that hit texas & this vendor was extremely flexible and understanding! We had to push our wedding to August 14th and it was obviously beautiful. The driver had food, and our belongings all organized in the back of our car & confirmed the address to the place we were supposed to be heading after the wedding, thankfully he did this because our planner must have forgotten to update him with a new address but he made the quick fix and it was smooth sailing from there!

The Epic End to An Epic Night

You spend all the time planning a wedding, you want to make sure you leave it in perfect style and Monarch Limos make sure that's true. The car was beautiful, but the customer service was what really brought it home. Book, you won't be disappointed.

The car was AWESOME.

Fun Ride, Good Time

The company was very responsive and professional. Our ride was awesome. It came with champagne and a custom license plate just for us! We truly enjoyed riding around in such a cool car!

Monarch was probably the easiest vendor I worked with! When I reached out, I heard back in hours and had it all set up and paid for same day! Our driver was on time and so kind, and the car was exquisite. So many compliments on the Rolls Royce we exited our reception in! A bottle of champagne was ready for us in back and the driver hurried to get us to the hotel within our time frame, even though we were running behind because of us—as to not cause additional charges for us. Great vendor choice - no brainer.

This was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our Wedding Day and a memory we will NEVER FORGET! The car was BEYOND AMAZING. Tom is so easy to work with, and our driver was wonderful too. Our whole wedding was there to cheer for us as we got into the car and drove away from the Church! The car itself is so incredible, in amazing condition and a true classic beauty. One of my favorite times during our wedding was the drive to our reception with just my husband and I in the car, drinking chamagne and having that time to ourselves to celebrate! SO glad we made this a part of our Wedding Day- it wouldn't have been the same if we didn't!!

What an incredible experience!! Tom helped us select which vehicle would suit us best and was beyond friendly and helpful every time we spoke!! The day of the wedding our driver was great. At the end of the night he dropped us at our hotel and our entire bridal party was complimenting how beautiful the car was the entire night. Some friends have sent me pictures of us leaving and the car just makes for amazing, timeless pictures.Truly a red carpet experience, we would definitely recommend!!!

I had never considered a “getaway” car as a possibility when we were getting married - but it was on my wife’s wishlist… and what a brilliant and memorable idea it was. The Rolls pulled up to our venue, about 20 minutes before the last dance. All of our guests were near giddy with how classy and cool it was, and it just made the final part of our day perfect. Our driver was so nice and made the whole experience even more fun! It’s as classy as you can hope, and as easy a transaction as you can handle. What a great experience- seriously money well spent and makes for memorable pictures!!!

WOW! WOW! WOW! A red-carpet send off into the "Prime Minister" was the perfect ending to a perfect day! Our wedding was amazing, but this topped it off with so much class. The vehicle was absolutely timeless! As my husband and I ran down the steps, we were greeted by our chauffeur and champagne. Inside, it was just pristine and amazing! On the back was a personalized license plate with our last name! It was absolutely perfect. And our chauffeur was amazing, very kind and engaging. Tom was also excellent to work with helping us choose the vehicle and planning the evening! If you're looking to end your event with style, look no further!!! Monarch British Limousines is the way to go!

Working with Tom was so easy and effortless, a very polite fellow. The 1937 Phantom Rolls Royce, "The Empress", was simply gorgeous! It arrived well ahead of time to allow for staging and photos. Our driver, Gabe, was beyond awesome and helped us in any way he could on our ride back to the hotel and unloading a few things. I'd give these guys 10-STARS, if possible...just a very great experience and they helped add a more special touch to our wedding night. Thank you, Tom & Gabe!

I can't say enough about Monarch! Our driver was so kind and helpful, the vehicle was absolutely perfect and in simply amazing condition. It sure made for some beautiful pictures! My husband and I were incredibly happy with Monarch and would definitely suggest using them for your special day- you won't regret it! The company is so well organized and has options to fit into your budget.

You just cannot go wrong with British Monarch Limos. A wedding day is already a special day but this added an extra element! Tom at British Monarch Limos was so helpful in helping us with selecting the car, explaining the differences in the various options...everything! What an extra added touch to have a personalized license plate and champagne! If you're looking for something unique for your special day and something that photographs like a dream, British Monarch Limos is the option for you!!!

I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for! Monarch was worth the money spent. Tom was accommodating and very nice/generous. His antique Rolls Royce vehicles are the perfect addition to any wedding! My husband is a car buff and was smiling the whole ride to our hotel. FYI, if you want your custom name card just ask and they will mail it to you for a keepsake!

Our getaway car was a gift for our wedding, and Monarch did an amazing job! We booked a little last minute as it was given at a wedding shower, but they were still able to provide us with options and were very flexible on timing. We actually extended our reception the day before the wedding and Monarch had no problem adjusting their schedule! Our driver was so sweet and had champagne waiting for us when we got in the car! The icing on the cake was the front license plate was personalized with our last name and made for great pictures!

We booked a Rolls Royce for our departure car from our wedding reception! The car was great and are driver was the nicest man and gave us marriage advice! We loved him. He even took a picture with us and the car when we got to the hotel. There wasn't AC, but the windows were down, the ride was short, and that's what you might expect with such an old classic car! The car was perfect, everything I had hoped, and our guests loved it!

We had a vintage Rolls Royce as our getaway car for our wedding - not only was it a great photo op for the grand exit, but it was a fun and memorable way to end the perfect night! Our driver, Dan, was on time, friendly and nice! A great company to work with!

I booked The Countess as a surprise for my husband when I saw it at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza. I received a discount for booking there plus a deal on the 2nd hour. We had the best time riding in this car from our church to the reception site. It was truly a stylish addition to our wedding day and made for some of the best photographs too! The driver was so polite, played some sweet music, and honked his way from the reception with 'here comes the bride' tune which was a hoot. The drive was completed with champagne service too! There was no hiccup on their arrival or departure times. The driver was dressed immaculate and I cannot speak highly enough of the service. The air conditioning in the car was also a wonderful treat on the hot August day. It was a splurge to book them, but the pictures and memories in this classic car on our wedding day are more than worth it! We loved our private moments as a newly married couple to cherish with this sweet ride. My husband was in awe of this surprise and completely impressed! Highly recommended to anyone who can splurge for it.

What a statement get-away vehicle! We booked the 1937 Rolls Royce called "The Empress" and had such a thrill with our experience and excellent service. This made for great wedding photos and was also a huge surprise for our guests when they saw it parked outside our ceremony venue. Tom, the owner, even created a customized license plate with a # in it for us! Lastly, found out during our ride that Beyonce and Jay-Z had previously rented that exact same vehicle. We felt so special! Highly recommend for a unique splurge :)

Traveling from the church to our reception we wanted something special and Monarch British Limousines gave that to us. They were very prompt and even helped me get in the car as it can be difficult in a wedding gown. We had champagne and our last name on the license plate. The car and experience was worth every penny!

We really enjoyed our vintage car experience and the personalized license plate with our new last name!! The looks on our guests faces as they saw our get away car was priceless! One of my bridesmaids actually wanted to take my place in the car!! haha The one problem we had was our driver who chose to use his phone to text while driving. We contacted the company to notify them of what had happened and we were told the problem would be taken care of immediately because there is a ZERO tolerance in their company for using the phone while driving. We know that you cannot completely control someone and their choices once they leave your sight and we very much appreciate their quick and professional response to our issue. They did a great job!

Tom was great throughout the entire process from booking the car to after the wedding. The car was beautiful and we got lots of compliments about it. The license plate with our last name on it made even more amazing our driver was great too and the music playing definitely kept us in a good mood.

Monarch British Limousines is the PERFECT way to go if you want an AMAZING grand escape! They will pick you up in a Rolls Royce with champagne, license plate with your new name, open the doors, and will even help pose you for your photographer! I am sad that it went by so quickly but I would choose them in a heart beat! Thank you!!!

We loved having Monarch British Limousines for our big day! Tom, the driver, was so patient as our ceremony lasted a bit longer than expected AND even helped our photographer catch good shots of us in the car. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price! Good luck planning : )

My husband and I wanted something unique to leave our wedding in and I am so happy that I found British Monarch Limos. Tom at British Monarch Limos was super nice and helpful. The process was super easy too. You just call, give them your payment info and the reservation is complete. The driver arrived at our venue on time and made us feel like royalty! We chose The Baroness, which had plenty of room to relax in after an exhausting night. Monarch really made us feel special with the personalized license plate and bottle of champagne. If you're looking for something unique and classy, British Monarch Limos is the way to go. You can't go wrong with any of their vintage Rolls Royce selections because they are all beautiful!

We decided to get a limo at the last minute. We wanted a classic, vintage car for our departure and after searching and comparing companies we decided to go with Monarch. We reserved a vintage Rolls Royce and it was gorgeous! Everybody was impressed with our send off. Our driver was prompt, professional, and prepared. The highway was closed, and he knew about it and found an alternate route to our hotel in advance. One of their competitors tried to say negative things about them during a price quote, which I didn't appreciate, which made me book with Monarch because they let their product sell it itself instead of talking negative about their competitor. If you want a classy send off, use Monarch!

Monarch was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding. I wanted to have a beautiful and sophisticated wedding and the vintage Phantom Rolls Royce was the perfect touch! Tom is a joy to work with and makes the booking process a breeze. I forgot the driver's name but he was very accommodating and helpful with our overnight bags. Our hotel was not far away from our reception location so he very kindly drove around to kill some time so that my husband and I could finish our champagne. Monarch Limousine provided the perfect ending to a perfect evening!

We had a 1930s Rolls Royce. It was so beautiful! They were very flexible with what I wanted although they do have special packages available too. Our driver was very kind. And just having that car gave our wedding a nice touch to it.

We had the most amazing ride in "The Empress" 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom. It was so beautiful and made the best photos to take with. Our driver was fantastic!

The Rolls Royce was everything we had hoped for and the driver was courteously professional. The bottle of champagne awaiting our entry and the personalized license plate was just over the top. Highly recommend for that perfect final touch to your wedding venue departure!

We went to Tom 1 month before our wedding and he made it HAPPEN. He was very laid back (no pressure) and invited us to his garage to show us all his cars. We chose "The Countess" and it was absolutely amazing. The bright brazilliant white exterior with the red leather interior was astonishing! We looked and booked the same day. Tom emailed us the credit card authorization and reserved our car. Monarch is the very best and cheaper than all the rest.

I am very pleased that I chose Monarch British Limousines to pick us up from our wedding. There were no problems whatsoever paying for their services and picking us up the day of the wedding. They even recommended a beautiful hotel for us to stay at that was right by Bush Intercontinental Airport that had a shuttle to take us there. Overall, very impressed! Thanks again!!

We hired their Rolls Royce Silver Cloud and that is the most amazing car- their attention to detail, from the champagne to the last name on the license plate, is astounding. One of our favorite things from our wedding. And the owner is so easy to deal with, they really bend over backwards to make you happy!

Talk about first class treatment!. My husband and I could not have felt more special…we had our own personalized license plate and a bottle of champagne to enjoy as we left our reception. So unique and it is the details like this that make British Monarch Limos stand out from all of the rest.

We chose the “Empress” and oh my! (I noticed another review on here mentioned that there was not air conditioning- it does and we were nice and cool during our time spent in the car).

Dealing with this company from the start was easy and Tom was so helpful in helping us choose the car that best fit our needs (hard to choose, they are ALL beautiful)!!! You cannot go wrong with this company and it will add so much to your special day.

Monarch Limousine did an excellent job overall! We had the Dutchess, it looked amazing and made the transportation from church to the reception smooth, and awesome looking. They even mailed us our front license plate, customized with our last name! (Super nice touch…) Champagne was ice cold, driver was super friendly! Being an old car, the retrofitted AC could not beat the Houston heat, but we wouldn't had this experience any other way! Highly recommended!

I’m so glad we hired Monarch, even if they were a bit on the pricey side (we figured we were paying for 'peace of mind' at this point, after hearing a few horror stories about cars not starting, etc.). We selected a vintage Rolls Royce for our departure, which was such a fun ending to a perfect evening. The driver was professional and friendly, and the champagne toast in those first few (quiet/private) moments as husband and wife is a memory that we will treasure. Wonderful way to end the night!

The limo was a great getaway car for us and looked great outside our venue. Our driver arrived early at no extra cost and was so friendly. It was such a treat to end the evening driving around town in such a beautiful car!

We wanted something different for our wedding night transportation so we rented a vintage Rolls Royce from Monarch and it was extremely nice. Although it was a bit pricey for the one hour we had it, it was very classey and we are glad we used them. Also our driver was extremely nice and it made for a great ride back to the hotel. If you want something different for your wedding transportation, I highly recommend using Monarch and their Rolls Royce fleet.

We had an old Rolls Royce...it was beautiful and we loved it. We had two drivers because we paid for the pick-up/drop-off, so basically the car didn't sit at the reception the whole night and it was cheaper. Both our drivers were really nice and attentive. We had champagne in the backseat, and the tag on the front of the car said our new last name. It was absolutely beautiful. It is a tad pricey, but totally worth the classic pictures you will get!

The cars are beautiful and the last name on the front tag makes memorable pictures. We chose the pick-up/drop-off service and ended up getting both the 1960 and th 1963 rolls royces. My daughter and son-in-law really enjoyed that both drivers took the long way to both drop off locations. They were able to enjoy the ride, the champagne and each other.

What a great way to leave your reception! We used a car from Monarch Limo as a departure vehicle from the reception to a hotel. The car was AMAZING! We paid a $500 flat fee which covered the car for one hour, the gratuity, a customized license plate, and champagne for the ride which is a better price than renting a limo for the entire night. When the car arrived at the reception we began to hear our guests talking about it “the awesome car that just pulled up” which was pretty cool. We also were the talk of the lobby when we pulled up outside of the hotel later that night. If you are traveling a long distance, be aware that the cars move very slow (or at least the one we rode in did) so plan accordingly. Also, be sure to have your payment lined up. They charged the final bill to the same card we used for the deposit, even after we emailed them and told them we were sending a check. However our driver was so great and made the ride very enjoyable. All in all the experience was great and I would definitely recommend them to future brides and grooms.

We rented a vintage Rolls Royce (the Baroness) for our getaway and the end of the night. My new last name was on the license plate area which was super cool and made for great pics! The car was very nice on the outside and okay on the inside. Definitely vintage. I would definitely use them again!

Our driver picked us from church in the Countess, and it was fabulous! We have wedding pictures that show our last name on the license plate. My husband and I felt like royalty that day, and the car was the cherry on top. It drove us from the church, to our university campus to have pictures taken, then back to our reception site. As we were driving down the freeway, everyone had their eyes on our car. It was an out of this world experience, and I would recommend this company to any bride who wants to know what it feels like to be treated like a queen on her special day.

Although the price is rather steep for merely one hour, the Rolls Royce selection is amazing. The car we had was the "Baroness" which, according to the driver, is Queen Elizabeth's favorite car and what she rode to Prince William's wedding. Not too shabby. The driver was great and pretty knowledgeable about the vehicle, and the champagne and customized license plate is definitely a nice touch.

we loved the car we got from monarch limo. they were very easy to get in touch with and very friendly. the only complaint we had was we ordered the package where they put your new last name on the limo and they mispelled our last name and it´s Pierce! they were expensive but I would do it again because the car was really cool.

Monarch normally would have been a bit expensive for us compared to other limo services. However, we chose May 3rd as our wedding date, which happens to be prom season. Every limo service in town was insanely expensive. Monarch was actually cheaper than everyone else. And, we got to ride in a beautiful Rolls Royce. It was very special. The pictures we got of the car and us in it, drinking our champagne, are beautiful. My only complaint is that I had one bag with all of my makeup, brush, and hair things in it that I was going to need on my honeymoon. It didn't make it into the car. And, when I realized it wasn't in there and almost panicked, the driver told me, a bit abruptly, that there was no room in the car. So, on my way to our hotel, I sat calling my mom trying to make sure that she could bring that bag in the morning to our hotel. I would have enjoyed the ride a little more if I could have relaxed with my husband, but, hey, nothing is perfect.

We wanted a Rolls Royce to take us from the Church to the Reception. We had to pay for 2 hours but we only ended up using 1 hour. It's something different, which is definitely what we wanted. Their cars are beautiful and in great shape. Even if we did only use 1 hour, I'm still very satisfied. Our guests thought it was an awesome car. We got the oldest car, which is a beautiful car. The champagne in the back(small bottle), the personalized last name front license plate, the dressing of the driver, were all great! The driver had another wedding after us though and we felt rushed on our ride to the hotel and then to unload. We wanted pictures with the car and the driver was trying to reset the car for the next wedding. Was VERY expensive, but makes a statement for sure.

car exhaust problem

After speaking with Tom, we were excited to surprise our son and his new bride with a limo from Monarch to their hotel. Unfortunately, the car had a terrible exhaust problem. We had to ask the driver to turn off the car so we could breath fresh air before the couple made their exit. We also had him open all the doors to air out the inside because the fuel exhaust smell was so strong. The fumes were overwhelming. I was so embarrassed and upset that we paid so much money for this kind of car and service. (Also, we rented a 1938 model but a different model car was substituted and brought to the venue.) In addition, the driver had glasses for the couple told us he had forgot the champagne! Tom was gracious to give us a $25 refund for the missing champagne but nothing more for the unbelievable amount of exhaust/fumes. I'm glad to see success stories online but our experience was not worth the expense and I do not feel like the owner really cared about our unfortunate experience.

The limo was beautiful! However 1 there was an exhaust leak that we could smell while we where in the car, not good!
Since our hotel was so close to our reception we where told our driver would drive us around Herman Park, & the fountian before taking us to our hotel. After your wedding & seeing everything so beautiful you only want to continue that feeling as long as you can. Our drive did not do that for us. He took us down Mac Gregor, then through regular streets where all we looked at was sky rises & office buildings.
We wanted to see the pretty streets, drive through the park, circle the fountian a couple of times while we drank the champange they gave us. He wouldn't even play any music!
Which the driver acted like he didn't want us to dirnk in the car, he was trying to get us to save it till we got to the hotel. When we booked the car, & they told me they where giving us a bottle of champange I thought how romantic. It is just a small individual champange bottle for 1.

I used Monarch limousines for my July 7th wedding. The driver was extremely nice and the car was beautiful. However when I called the day of to verify the time the driver would be at the church I spoke to a very rude person. All I asked if they would be at the church at a specific time or if they would arrive a little bit earlier. I was going to send someone out to meet the drive to ensure they are in the right parking lot. I just wanted to know what time to send my brother out in the heat. The person on the phone responded in a very load voice "They will be there at this time” about five time and would not let me say anything. Very unprofessional! I will not use them again due to this bad service over the phone.
The person on the phone assumed I wanted them to arrive earlier. There is no reason to yell over the phone no matter how many other brides have asked the same question.

We used Monarch British Limousines a few weeks ago for our wedding at Agave Road and unfortunately the car showed up late!!! All of our guests were waiting for us to exit, and we ended up having a fake exit since it was taking so long for him to arrive.

I will say all of our correspondence prior to the wedding was great...Tom was very responsive and booking our Rolls Royce getaway car went off without a hitch. My coordinator had contacted him a few days prior to the wedding to double check his arrival time (10:45pm), however when it was time for us to make our "grand exit" at 11pm, our getaway car was nowhere to be found. After many calls to Tom and the driver, the car finally showed up at 11:20 after we had done a fake exit with our photographer & guests. Our photographer was only booked until 11pm so we were not able to capture any professional photos of the getaway car we spent quite a bit of money on. It was definitely not worth the money for such awful service!

Unfortunately the car was blocked on the Freeway due to a wreck which had all traffic slowed to only one lane, with the Texas Highway patrol allowing cars to just dribble thru, one at a time . The wedding coordinator was informed well in advance about the wreck and the driver got to the venue as quickly as he could.

Poor Service and Professionalism

My son and new wife, had their worst experience as newly weds when they rode on @monarchbritishlimousines as their first ride of as husband and wife, driver was rude requesting extra pay to the newly wed couple for no reason at all and charging them even more tips for which they had previously paid in full. A Family member at the hotel had to make payment for them not to go through that horrible experience, at the end, you can’t make up for that trouble and uncomfortable time they had to go through on what should have been their happiest day of their life not recommended at all showing lack of professionalism and quality of service

Bad experience

we didn’t had no AC, windows wouldn’t roll up weather wise was very windy, every time the vehicle would break it seem that the tires were gonna come out, break pads made bad noises when breaking on red light definitely had a mechanical issue or some, doors wouldn’t open we look like we were crazy trying to open the door to come out! Mr. Tom mentioned to me over the phone about the beautiful detail of the interior of the Royce nothing what he said was seen. Not worth what we paid. I email Tom regarding the issues we had and no replied. I had to called him I did spoke with him he said that there is nothing he can do about it and that was the best Rolls Royce he had and he hang up on me!!! Our wedding was 11/05/22 bad bad service I definitely do not recommend renting from them….
