  I used Monica Delaney for our wedding on 6/27/10. She showed up on time, set up everything, and called to asked questions and to let us know everything was set up. There were no problems and we were very happy with her service. In addition, everyone at the wedding thought the chair covers and sashes were beautiful. I have no complaints and thought she did a beautiful job. I would recommend her for sure and her prices are unbeatable.

  i had the save thing sort of happen to be i found her online went to her house and paid for my linens in full....the day before my wedding she called me and said do you still want us to set up the stuff for you, you have not responded to my emails i told her i havent got any emails from her and she said to check my junk mail it "sometimes" goes in there so i went through all the mail over 1000 emails and NOTHING from her...i told her she better be at my venue by 430 pm to start setting up the night before or i was calling the cops. so i'm guessing she was trying to do the same thing to me but failed.

  I had the same experience "frustrated" did with Monica Delaney. She canceled our contract 2 days before the event, promising to refund & cover the cost of renting through another company. It has now been over 3 months and she will not answer or return calls or emails. I have filed with the BBB as well as the Attorney General's Office and I have given my information to a Detective at the Richfield PD. Just last month I took her to court and she didn't show up. The verdict was in my favor and now I'm researching ways to collect.
  
  If any of you brides out there need info about filing complaints about her to any of the agencies I went through or for information to file a lawsuit against her, please send me a private message.
  
  My hope is that we stop her from doing this to other brides.

  Monica was hired to dress the tables and chairs with linens and provide candles for center pieces at our second venue on September 11, 2010. She contacted me three days before the wedding and emailed me the following:
  
  "All your linens are being pressed and hung today. Can I get a final count? I will also call you tomorrow and we will go over details. I saw that you want everything set up by 4:30 but lets shoot for a little earlier just in case. I plan on having everything setup by 3:30 at the latest."
  
  I responded back to her with the final count and explaining she needed to talk to the catering manager at the venue. She never called or showed up at the venue. I have pictures of her at the venue discussing the decore the day we signed the contract. She can not claim she did not know where the venue was. I have kept every email back and forth.
  
  Please do not use this vendor you will loose your money - the money looks good but she fails to provide the service. I booked with her in November, I paid in full in June and she failed to show in September...that is fraud

  I used Monica for an event on July 17th in which she didn't fullfil the contract in any way, she said she would help and that everything would be fine which she never did, two days before the event I had to run around and find everything last minute, I was able to pull it through after spending way more money than planned, somebody e-mailed me saying they would refund me the money which so far I have not seen, I filed a complain with BBB to which she has not responded, people like her should not be doing bussiness as she is messing up with people's dreams and lifes and unless she is willing to do everything possible she should stay out this bussiness

  BEWARE!!!!!! We reserved and paid a deposit for a linen rental for our wedding June 26, 2010. Four days before the wedding Ms. Delaney sent an email stating her "attorney advised her" to cancel all rental agreements and refund monies given to her. This left us with added stress and cost during the wedding week. We still have not received a refund. What lawyer would advise a client to break the law by not fulfilling their legal agreements with customers? Please beware of this lady who scams people. She is also listed under another website (momentslikethismn.webs.com) and on craigslist. I am trying to save other brides from being ripped off.

  I also had a wedding planned for the 26th of June 2010 and received a similar email regarding canceling the contract and refunding the deposit but have yet to see a check. I went with another vendor for my linens who had 6 other brides contact her to see if they had any last minute linens left because Monica had canceled on them as well. Please be wary if you choose her, I think she books too many events for one weekend and then picks one to provide services for. I have seen a set up of hers in person (because we didn't trust her unprofessional appearance) and the venue looked great, but do you want to be the one she doesn't pick? If you do choose her don't pay in full. It's not worth the risk. Good luck!

I DID NOT GET ANY NOTICE!! i spent the whole week trying to call her to set up a time for the linens to get delivered! She never showed up!   Please do not use Monica Delaney! I found Monica through craigslist and even met with her, she even had samples, to rent linens and put a deposit with her and had a contract with her. Our wedding was April 10, 2010 in Andover, MN and a month before our wedding she emailed me and said that she couldn't get us our linens because someone else had rented the exact same ones and never returned and said she would be sending our depsit back. I asked her if she knew anyone that could help me being so close to our wedding and she said she would help and pay the difference. Then she decided again to email and just say she couldn't do it and our deposit was in the mail. Well we didn't see it, a week later I emailed asking her and to confirm the address she sent it to. She said she mailed it to a wrong address and that she will send another. We didn't see it another week later, so I emailed her again and she said she didn't know what happened that she mailed it. So we still didn't see it, and it was the week of the wedding, and I emailed her and tried to meet her, telling her that we would be left with leaving bad reviews about her, not that I wanted to, but it had been a month and we should have had this check to put towards something else in place of the linens we couldn't get. That it woud not be fair for other brides to go through that right before their wedding. Now its a month after our wedding, and still no check and no response from her by phone or email... I'm sorry, but DO NOT USE MONICA DELANEY, we believe she is a fake and is fraud and conning brides into makng a deposit with her so she can say she can't right before the wedding and never return your money. We are living proof, and she says she is apart of the American Acedemy of Wedding Professionals and she isn't even listed on the site. I don't want this to happen to anymore brides. Thanks!
