  Loraine and Josh are amazing to work with. My husband and I both agree they were hands down our favorite vendors. They went above and beyond, and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted, even took us to Taco Bell to have a shoot there. They are great team, and made us both feel comfortable the entire time. I cannot wait to see all amazing shots they got of us!

  Loraine and Josh are amazing to work with. My husband and I both agree they were hands down our favorite vendors.   Loraine and Josh are phenomenal photographers. If you are looking for photographers, that will put you at ease on your wedding day, capture all the cute candid shots of your family and guests, and are equipped with all the knowledge and skills needed to use lighting and reflection and scenery and other photography techniques to the utmost, then I HIGHLY recommend Mojica Photography. Loraine was great with all the young nieces and nephews in my family photos as well. She got them to pose and participate. They have extensive experience with the LDS Kansas City Temple so I highly recommend them as well to any LDS couples being married there. I felt more beautiful on my wedding day because they were taking our photos. If you want the joyful and beautiful memories of your wedding not only captured, but helped to be created… then I would recommend Mojica Photography.

  Working with Loraine and Josh was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. They were so fun and professional to work with. From the first time we met I knew our pictures would be amazing. We had two engagement sessions with them and the pictures turned out amazing. Better than I ever could have imagined. They were able to capture all these little moments and really bring the pictures to life. Their knowledge of photography and lighting is very apparent. They also helped so much in coming up with a wedding day timeline. They went almost minute by minute with us to figure out what needed to happen and when. Our wedding pictures turned out more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Every time I look at our pictures I can't help but smile. They took my vision and made the pictures come to life. I am so glad that we hired Loraine and Josh! It felt like we were working with old friends. They are the best!

  Josh and Loraine captured every emotion and every beautiful moment the day of our wedding. The photos still take my breath away. Photography was the most important part of the wedding to me, since they will last forever, and I was not disappointed. If you want to work with TWO amazing photographers and have stunning photos, they are the ones for you. It was more than a business transaction, they are family friends.

  LOVE LOVE LOVE! Amazing couple, and incredible photos! To this day, when I look through our wedding pictures, I am able to remember all of the feelings and excitement. They captured all of it!   Working with Loraine and Josh on our wedding day was a special experience in it's own. Not only did they creatively capture all our wedding moments, but the entire time they were with us from getting dressed up, to the very end of our fireworks reception, they were genuine, professional, and went the extra mile. We had rain on our wedding day but instead of all indoor pictures, Josh had the amazing idea to play with lighting behind Damon and I under the hanging as the rain drops fell. He didn't mind getting wet just to get the first shot (it was absolutely amazing shot and is now framed on our wall). I also had a lot of particular shots, poses, and times I wanted captured, Loraine and Josh were able to divide and conquer (groomsmen getting dressed, father son shoots, to bridesmaids in robes and makeup) so that no moment went missed. Loraine and Josh work together as an amazing team and are not only professional, but a true joy to work with. They new when to step back or when to suggest. The quality of their work cannot be surpassed, and even looking back on the photographs now they take my breath away.   Loraine and Josh were AMAZING photographers for our wedding day. We would have been so lost without them! They assisted with not only taking wonderful, memorable and timeless photos from our event but also the planning of the actual day.

  From the very first email to our ongoing conversations and ordering of prints, Loraine has always been professional, attentive, and shown an interest in us personally. My husband and I now live in California, but chose to have our wedding back home in Kansas City. Loraine worked very hard with us and made the long-distant planning a breeze. We talked numerous times over Skype, met when home, I was frequently on the phone with her bouncing ideas around, and she is very responsive and quick with email.
  
  In terms of work quality, I believe Loraine’s gallery speaks for itself, and we were very pleased with the final product. She was very attentive to the style and shots we liked. It was an evening, outdoor wedding and the sunset pictures were something my husband and I really wanted. Loraine made this a key part of our schedule for the day so that we were guaranteed those pics we wanted, and we love the way they turned out.
  
  Loraine's assistant and secondhand is her husband, Joshua. The two of them make a great team and were always on the same page for our big day. This sped up the process a LOT and made the transitions and herding/placing of family and bridal party run very smoothly. Joshua had a second camera to capture “big” moments—for instance, for our first look they both had a camera so we now have my husband’s and my simultaneous expressions. I love that!
  
  Finally—I consider myself to be pretty camera shy, and it was very important to me that I was comfortable with our photographer. We interviewed a handful of KC area photographers, and talked with a few who just made everything feel awkward and scripted. We were so comfortable around Loraine and Joshua, and they made sure to get to know us as individuals before the wedding. By the time we got to the big day, the two of them felt more like friends than people we’d just hired for a day.
  
  Main point-- Loraine was great, and we would choose her again if we had to do the whole thing over.

  My wife and I loved working with Mojica Photography!!! They knew what direction to lead us in, which turned out to produce the most amazing pictures we could have wished for!!! It took no time to receive them, as well as the wonderful pricing they have for you and family!! They were so great, my sister in law plans to use them for her senior pictures!!! Best in town :-)

  We used Mojica Photography for our wedding, and I'm so glad we did!!! It had to be one of the best experiences working with Lorraine and Josh! Lorraine was full of direction, patience, and compliments!!!lol. I would advise anyonce with upcoming nupitals to chose them!!!!

  Josh and Loraine were wonderful. They really did an incredible job. I loved the lighting and the extreme contrasts they create. I highly recommend them to anyone.

  Mojica Photography is fantastic! I had lots of choices when it came to a photographer and after reviewing the website I chose Mojica with no hesitation. We didn't want entirely traditional photos and I could tell that the work was extremely beautiful, unique and interesting. From my first contact with Loraine I felt like she understood what I wanted (even if I didn't). I even mentioned an obscure reference to a photo I'd seen and she was excited to recreate it. Since I live in Seattle and our wedding was in Kansas all of the planning needed to be done remotely. Not a problem for Loraine. She kept in contact with me and we arranged to meet for lunch the week before the wedding. On the wedding day Loraine and Josh took photos all over the place! Countless photos were taken without anyone in the wedding feeling like their space or privacy was being invaded. I don't know how they did it. They were very fun, polite, courteous, and friendly people. By the end of the wedding we felt like they were simply friends of ours who came to our wedding and brought lots of camera equipment. The photos are amazing. I can't say enough about how pleased we were at the results and delivery of the photos. They were all posted on the Mojica website for us to view and order as we liked. The prints we ordered also came out beautifully (we will continue ordering them as we have encounter wall space to fill). We also ordered a CD of all of the photos that we can have prints made from if we choose. The CD came in a tin with our photo printed on the cover. At the end of the experience we feel we have gained friends more than conducted a business transaction.

  My (now) husband and I stumbled upon Mojica Photography when we won a free 1-hour engagement session from them at a bridal show raffle. I had been researching photographers up to that point, and I thought I had favorites picked out, but once I met with Loraine I knew she had to be the one to photograph our wedding. Loraine is extremely personable, which comes across in her photographs. My husband and I agree that the photos of our wedding really tell "our" story. They are unique to us, and showcase our personalities and our relationships with our friends and families. Loraine and her husband/assistant Josh are such kind people, and our ability to be friendly and open with them made the whole experience totally comfortable and stress-free. They are very professional as well. Loraine took all of the input that I gave her, our ideas, likes, dislikes, and really took it to heart.   As soon as I met Loraine, I knew she and Josh would be the perfect photographers for my wedding. She was instantly personable and quickly understood what we were looking for in our wedding photos—classy and unique, but without being gimmicky. She did a great job prepping us a few weeks before the wedding, which freed my mind to focus on other details. On the wedding day, she was able to capture all the best moments without getting in the way or taking us away from our guests. And the photos turned out amazing. The lighting, detail, and coloring were beautiful. I have one of the photos in my office, and I get compliments on it almost every day. Oh, and we found their pricing to be very reasonable. In fact, I would say the quality of the photos was at least on par with, if not better than, photographers charging much, much more.

She and her husband, another photographer for Mojica, know so much about poses, lighting, equipment, scheduling, etc. She even had great spontaneous suggestions for shots at our venue, but also other places like downtown, and even a beautiful old courthouse.   We won our wedding photography from Mojica Photography, so all we paid was their mileage, hotel room, and then for our prints. We absolutely LOVED our photos and couldn't have asked for better photographers. They worked so hard all day and took so many awesome pictures! We LOVE them!

  I will only ever have Mojica photography take my pictures for now on. Loraine and Josh have taken my engagement, wedding, and baby's pictures and they are incredible. They made us feel very comfortable and I like that our pictures tell a story rather than looking like we are posing for a picture.

  Loraine and her husband were wonderful to work with and true professionals but most importantly she is a true artist. I have already given her name to so manypeiople who have seen the first of the wedding pictures. they are magazine quality and my only problem will be limiting the number I can have framed. also she managed to help the bride fix her gown, helped the flower girls get their flower on right on and on They were my favorite vendor and did both the engagement and wedding pictures and were the one you never had to worry about. FANTASTIC!
