A fantastic day!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Mohr Fun Events! Karl and team handled both the ceremony and reception music flawlessly, creating just the right atmosphere for each part of our day. From the beautiful music during our ceremony to keeping everyone on the dance floor all night, he truly made our wedding unforgettable. Our guests raved about the playlist, and the photo booth was a huge hit, adding even more fun to the night. Great Wedding DJ!!
Karl was an excellent DJ for our wedding, and was a major part of making the whole day (and especially night) truly memorable. From the start of planning, we already knew we were going to enjoy working with him due to his organization and genuine excitement about our big day. It is clear he enjoys what he does and that shows in his work. He was a tremendous help in selecting music for us when we didn't know what we wanted, seamlessly handled all audio during the outdoor ceremony without issue so everyone could hear, and made sure to play every song we requested during the reception. It was also a huge help that he coordinated the photobooth so we didn't have to worry about working with another vendor. Additionally, Karl stayed on property and kept the music going until 2am, making for an extremely long day for him, but was something we truly appreciated. I cannot recommend Karl enough as a DJ, and we are extremely appreciative of his work on our wedding day. -

Amazing work!
I used Mohr Fun Events for my wedding and I worked with DJ Ben and DJ Ashley. These people are absolutely fantastic, so down to earth, and easy to work with. Dj Ashley was my Dj the night of the wedding and she made the night a blast! -

05/21/22 Wedding
Karl is an amazing DJ. He is committed to serving the couple in every way. For our wedding, he was very accommodating to our requests and even mashed-up a couple of songs to match exactly what we were looking for. He brought lots of energy to the event and was super flexible to work with throughout the entire process. He was kind enough to add his sparklers to our reception plans at the last minute which made the night even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Karl and would highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for an amazing DJ who brings the party! -

Fun, friendly, and does it all!
Karl was incredible to work with. He was so flexible and encouraging through the process of postponing and rescheduling our wedding. He made the planning process easy and enjoyable. The music on our wedding day was awesome and our guests had a great time!! And to top it all off, he helped us make last minute plans to live-stream our wedding ceremony to virtual guests. He sent the most beautiful recording of the ceremony to us afterwards. Karl was a big part of making our day so fun and special! -

Above and Beyond!!
I can't even begin to explain how amazing of a job Karl did as our DJ for our wedding! We were married 7-1-21 at Overlook Barn. He went above and beyond for us. He was helpful, kind and accommodating to the changes we had to make because of rain. I had a wedding gift for my husband and needed help pulling it off during the reception. Karl graciously helped me get it together. I cannot say enough wonderful things. I am so grateful we hired him! If you are in need of a DJ, don't waste anymore time and call Karl. He will not let you down.

Best DJ Ever!
I don’t know where to begin to thank DJ Karl and his team for making my wedding day a dream. DJ Karl was one of the best vendors we hired. He was very responsive, fulfilled all my wishes, and even made the perfect photo booth template for me… and the photo booth camera also had stunning quality! He worked with me on all the details and was extremely professional and kind. I really felt like I was in good hands with DJ Karl and his team. He is someone that is so kind you just want to be friends… and not all vendors are like that! I wish I had another event I could hire him for. Thank you for making my wedding day a fairytale!! I’ll never forget it. -

Above and Beyond!!
Karl went above and beyond for us every step of the way! I wanted a faux boxwood wall for our photobooth and he made one for us. I was also able to use my own designs for the photobooth so that it matched the rest of our wedding. Last minute we found out some close family couldn't come and Karl recorded and edited a video of our ceremony and had it to us incredibly quickly. We really put off our music selections but DJ Ben was able to work with us just a few days before the wedding and everything came out perfectly. -

Guests keep telling us how awesome our DJ was!
A DJ can really make or break your guests' feelings about your wedding, and we are SO happy we hired Karl for our wedding! From our first email, he was extremely nice and so helpful. His communication was awesome throughout our engagement. We also booked a photobooth, and Karl even designed a custom template for the film strips. On our wedding day, Karl was amazing! Everything went perfectly. He played the perfect mix of modern music and classics to keep our guests dancing the whole time. The photobooth was a big hit among our guests, and we loved getting to see all the photos afterwards. So many of our friends and family have texted us afterwards telling us how great the DJ was. You definitely cannot go wrong by hiring Karl. Thank you so much, Karl!! -

Best entertainment for the budget!!!
Super affordable! Fun Dj and the photobooth attendants 10/10 the greatest! They helped me bustle my dress when my mom couldn’t find her glasses lol! The photo album is beautiful and included and we have so many fun memories of all of our friends and family! The DJ created a custom playlist that incorporated all our eclectic music tastes and pleased my parents his parents and all our friends! It was a great party! Karl also helped me create a custom template that matched my wedding theme! Plus we got digital copies of all the photos!! -

DJ Karl, finest DJ this side of the Mississippi!
DJ Karl, without a doubt, was one of the best parts of our wedding! While planning the wedding he aways responded so quickly to any email or call, he made the planning process go exceptionally smoothly. Our wedding consisted of a lot of Greek traditions and DJ Karl had all of the greatest Greek tunes for our wedding night. Music was a really important part of our wedding, we wanted it to reflect us. DJ Karl was totally able to do that and more. The dance floor was packed the entire night.
Karl's set up was extremely professional, he provided the sound for our ceremony(outdoor), as well as reception, both were impeccable. He also did a fantastic job of creating a natural flow and up beat vibe during the reception.
Overall, we had the best time working with Karl, he's a great guy, and we are so thankful we chose him to DJ our wedding. Thank you Karl!!!!! -

Amazing dj!
Karl was absolutely fantastic!! I couldn’t recommend him more, our wedding honestly wouldn’t have been the same without him. He was amazing at communicating with me through all parts of the planning process, was extremely professional & so fun at the same time, and went above and beyond-it rained on our wedding day and he volunteered to help move tables around & he even stayed after to help us pack up heavier items at the end of the night. He kept the entire night so much fun & even our venue owner raved about him. Everyone loved him & had amazing things to say about him. He was able to provide a projector for us because we wanted to have a slideshow playing during our dinner & he put that together as well. Keeps the party fun and running smooth
Karl made our entire event run smoothly and made the party fun from the very beginning. It was our goal to have the best party that made people want to stay for the whole wedding. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and we had to make them leave! We also chose the photobooth option through Karl and that was a huge hit for all of our guests. Karl was extremely professional and organized. He offered a lot of guidance when planning and helped answer all of our questions. He went above and beyond to make the day perfect. One cool feature he offered was an online portal that helped us plan our music and flow of events. Karl also had a call with us the week of the wedding to go over everything in detail while also working along side the event planner. Karl is fun, professional and kind! -

Amazing and Perfect
DJ Karl did a great job at our small intimate wedding. He played everything I asked and played to everyone in the audience. As promised he even "turned it up" after the older generation retired to bed. :)
My favorite moment that stands out the most is he played Music for the kids and we had an "all kids dance party" on the floor and they LOVED it!!!
Karl took the time to get to know us before hand as well which really meant a lot to us.

Our Wedding!
Karl Mohr gave so much detailed attention to our wedding and made it the best day of our life. I gave him ideas of what I wanted for our big day, but I allowed him to do his job since I trust his judgement best as the DJ. He made the night, and people to this day can not stop talking about him. All my friends are graduating college and starting to get married and my first recommendation for all of them for a DJ Karl Mohr! -

I would HIGHLY recommend Mohr Fun Events for any wedding! Karl is amazing at feeling out the crowd and making sure the party doesn't stop. He we super helpful with picking out different songs for the processional and recessional events, i was unsure what would be appropriate during those times and he killed it. On top of being an amazing DJ, my photographer left at 8:00 pm, and Karl jumped right in and took incredible pictures of the reception throughout the night. Overall he did an incredible job, you won't be disappointed! -

Karl was amazing! I can't tell you how many people from our wedding commented on how awesome our DJ was. He kept the party moving all night long, played a ton of the songs we loved, and never missed a beat. He's originally from the Boone, NC area, but made the trip down to Charleston for us at no extra charge. He even made a trip down to Charlotte to meet us leading up to the wedding to make sure we were all set on everything. He was very affordable, especially for the quality. The mix of music was perfect. Starting out with songs everyone in attendance would know and want to dance to, and then leading into more current music later on in the evening. I just wanted to stay on the dance floor all night! We seriously cannot recommend him enough! -

WOW, I cannot describe how great Karl was. He was an amazing asset for our wedding on April 14th. Everyone kept commenting on how wonderful he was. He is definitely worth every penny - plus make sure to get the photobooth with every package (literally my favorite part of the whole night and all the guests loved it!!). He scheduled times to chat, was readily available on email, and kept the crowd going! -

Karl was awesome. His online setup made it easy to send him the timeline of the wedding and reception, as well as the songs we wanted for each. We had a few requests (which he played all of) but we wanted to let him do this thing as a DJ. We gave him a general direction of what we liked/wanted and he ran with it. It was perfect. He was professional, on time, even met with us the day before to make sure we had everything nailed down. We had so much fun and our guests raved about the music. Thanks Karl! -

He visited our venue before our event, he was extremely flexible and easy to work with, he played all the songs we requested, he was super nice and respectful, he didn't overstep his boundaries or tried to take the spotlight, he was respectful and pleasant with our guests, was sociable, and then he even brought a camera and helped to take pictures after our photographer left. He came out for our rehearsal dinner and provided karaoke and music until we shut the place down and there were only 4 guests remaining. For the wedding, he had a microphone for the officiant that ensured all of our guests could hear the vows despite being in the rain under umbrellas. Finally, the reception was a great party that kept people on the dance floor all night long. I cannot say enough great things about his services and the level of professionalism he provides. He has a ton of experience and really helped us tie together our weekend to make it a memorable event. -

Karl Mohr was incredible every step of the way. You want to hire this man to DJ your wedding. After initial contact through wedding wire he responded almost instantly to every message or email. The longest he took to respond to an email was two days (over a weekend) and when he did, he apologized. Since we were planning from a distance he had us sign a contract through Adobe Sign and pay a deposit online. He also has a user-friendly online planner that helps organize all the information he needs from you to make the day a success. Everything he needed us to complete was simple and well explained. At the wedding he was always attentive. The music selection was well varied but in line with exactly what we had asked for. He and his assistant helped everything run smoothly and efficiently. Transitions were well worded and set at just the right volume. Guests were able to hear his announcements but his speaking voice never interrupted the flow of the party. On a more personal level, Karl was just a nice person to work with. He was incredibly kind and made sure we felt special as a couple. He seemed to take a personal investment in our wedding and celebrated with us rather than just offering a service. He asked us about other vendors we were using and even went to eat at a restaurant for a caterer we were considering. He toured our venue ahead of time to make sure he had a good idea of what he would need for the space and let us know about building updates since we had booked. He also offered to create a wedding day timeline for us and meet with vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. I'll say it again, you want to Karl Mohr to DJ your wedding. You will not regret it! -

We found Mohr Fun Events while searching for a DJ online and cannot be more happier with their service. Response time was always very quick and their client website is highly professional. Karl was so easy to communicate with and he made sure that everything was taken care of - from the setting up of equipments, to the music playlist, to the flow of events during our wedding day. They even provided lighting which helped set the mood for dancing for our afternoon reception. Both Karl and Scottie have very pleasant personalities and were really a joy to work with. Karl did a wonderful job at my wedding 3 weeks ago. I signed up with Karl, sight unseen, to handle music for our reception/dinner/dance. I gave us more than we expected in several ways. First, he has an extensive music list, and took the dozen or so pieces we requested and expanded on that in a genre-specific way; good choices throughout. Second, he effectively MC'd the reception/dinner/dance in a way that kept the attention on us, the couple getting married, and not on him. And third, the day was rainy and wet before the wedding, and our under-tent dance floor had gotten wet and muddy. Without any request, Karl took it on himself to mop the dance floor clean before the crowd got there! In every way, Karl made himself part of "our team" and went over and beyond our expectations. Thanks Karl!! -

Karl was a GREAT DJ! He did a wonderful job, and was always so flexible and friendly when talking to us! He really pays attention to what you want, and goes out of his way to make sure you get it! He has an AWESOME online system where you can choose the songs you want to have played, maybe played and you can even make a do not play list. We really loved how easy it was, and how we could use it on our own time, and work at our own pace. Our final meeting was great, and he listens to what you want and then makes it the experience you dreamed of!
He played all our favorite music and kept us informed the whole time of EVERYTHING that was happening so that nothing happened when we weren't ready. We were definitely pleased with all he had to offer! -

Karl provided incredible entertainment for our wedding in November 2016. He was outstanding from beginning to end and our family and friends are still commenting on what a fun and exciting time they had, despite an unconventional Sunday morning reception. From our first conversation on the phone, Karl put me at complete ease with his humble confidence and approachability. Our biggest concern was that the time and day of the wedding wouldn't allow for the kind of fun party atmosphere we hoped for. Karl knocked it out of the park. He started the dance party right away in the early afternoon and we shut the venue down still having a ball at the end of the night. Certainly the highlight of the day was Karl's addition of karaoke services. Everyone had a blast and it was hilarious to hear all of the singing talents of our guests! Karl is outstanding. He is kind and attentive and he knew exactly what to do to get our party started and rolling throughout the whole day. The entertainment for our wedding was our biggest concern, and thanks to Karl it turned it absolutely perfectly.

You can tell that Karl takes pride in his work and he truly did not disappoint. His online request portal made it easy to select what songs we wanted him to play or not play, and when I didn't see a few songs we wanted, he assured me that it was his job to acquire them. Our guests loved his music choices and he was quick to play any requests that friends and family had throughout the night. I remember one moment during the night I kind of wrinkled my nose at a song he was playing only to look up and see a sea of older couples flocking to the dance floor. :) He knows how to read a crowd (regardless of age!) and kept the dance floor moving all night! -

Karl was an absolute wonderful DJ. From the very beginning, he was very professional, quick to communicate, and easy to work with--and possibly one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. He listened to every crazy request we had and he made everything run flawless at our wedding. There were some technical difficulties at the venue and yet it never deterred him from playing music that kept people on the dance floor the entire night--even people who normally NEVER dance. Hiring DJ Karl was literally one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. He was very personable and easy to communicate with in person, over email, and over the phone. DJ Karl uses an online planning site that was very easy to navigate and had an extensive library of songs so that we could choose exactly what we wanted for each part of the ceremony and the reception. We also had some very specific song requests and wanted to do some unique compilations, and Karl was able to find every song we asked for and rocked at editing together the compilations. The real test? My dad could not understand why we would bother hiring a DJ, he thought it was a waste of money and brought it up several times during planning. Yet after the wedding? I was on a tight budget and only had three months to plan my wedding party. I was looking for a DJ who would be able to work in a difficult (very small, too many people, very diverse age group, etc. ) situation, who would be able to assess the crowd on the fly and adjust his musical selections accordingly. Karl handled all these requirements professionally and excellently. We did not meet until the day of the wedding and yet he was able to listen to what I had in mind and pull it all together. His music list is exhaustive and the on line method of choosing songs and ranking them by "have to", "like to" and "don't please" was perfect for me. He took requests from guests and kept our party going until the end when we had to push people out the door. I would recommend him for any event requiring sound and music! -

I can't say enough about Karl and how he made our night so special. From the day we booked him, his responsiveness was superior. This was a huge relief for me since I had no wedding planner and was doing the event myself. On the day of the wedding he not only had all my requested songs but provided the most outstanding uplighting that transformed the whole clubhouse into a night to remember.
