We loved Nick!
My older sister used Nick for her wedding and we loved him so much we decided to use him for ours too! He is very personable and funny, we felt so comfortable with him. Our family and friends thought he was a close personal friend because of how he treated us. I couldn't recommend Nick more for a wedding officiant!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Nick (Modern Ministries) as our officiant for our March 2024 wedding! Nick was so funny and personable, and very flexible when it came to our ceremony requests. He was also great at communicating with us leading up to our wedding date, and was on time for our early morning rehearsal and our afternoon ceremony. Our family and friends absolutely adored him. Nick officiated our wedding at the LAST minute, and could not have been MORE responsive. Such a thoughtful man, and made our small ceremony very memorable. Oh yeah, and he's really funny and fun to be around. Can't recommend him highly enough.

He is professional, kind, positive, and silly. If you want someone that will take your ceremony above and beyond, he will do it for you. There are not enough incredible words for Nick. This incredible man did our ceremony exactly how we wanted. He fed off of our energy and the ceremony was better than perfect. He gave us plenty of options to choose how our tiny elopement would go and told us to adjust it to our liking. We got it to him and he did everything perfectly.
We had a lot of laughs and so much love was shared. I will forever be grateful that he is who we chose to marry us.

Nick was AMAZING from the moment we spoke with him. We found him sort of last minute in our search, but working with him was the easiest part of our wedding planning. He personalized our ceremony script with fun quirk, which we loved. It was almost as if he knew us beforehand and fit right in. He's also very kind and you can tell he loves what he does. As a sort of last-minute change of plans (6 weeks maybe??) we wanted to make sure our marriage was legal in the law of North Carolina. Nick came in to save the day and kept our wishes of having a friend heavily involved in the ceremony. We got the best of both worlds by having our friend assist with the ceremony and then Nick swooped in with the legal (and important) stuff AND he dealt with all our paperwork! So funny and nice, we are very proud our paths crossed and he was able to marry us. Nick even helped our friend with his flow of his speech. Nick is knowledgeable, been down the aisle many times, and was a true comfort to have on our day. We highly recommend booking him as your wedding officiant!

Exactly what we needed
Had a last minute need for someone to wed me and my wife, Nick came in clutch, was able to give us some ideas on how to do the ceremony, let us morph it slightly to fit exactly what we were looking for. -we held a bech front ceremony and the wawves very so loud, that on a video we can barely here us! And Nick you certainly can here! He has a wonderful voice!

Carolina Beach Elopement
Nick was hands down THE best choice for us. We spoke with two other officiants beforehand but once I talked to Nick I knew I couldn’t pick anyone else but him. His presence was so warming and the conversation never once turned awkward and there was no awkward silence. He made sure we communicated throughout the process and made sure to connect with me whenever he had a question. Nick connected with all my vendors and they all loved him just as much as we did! He made the small ceremony intimate but also fun. He even helped with my 1yr old son while we were taking pictures after the ceremony. Something we never asked him to do but because he’s amazing helped anyway he could. I recommended Nick to everyone looking for an officiant. You won’t regret choosing him!

Nick is absolutely phenomenal! I blindly chose him online so you never know what to expect. He exceeded our expectations! He sent me a draft of our ceremony after we answered some personal questions about our relationship. I slightly tweaked some things in the ceremony rehearsal and he walked through everything with my changes and then made the appropriate changes to make the ceremony perfect.
Nick made us feel so comfortable and was such a great highlight to our special day!
We received many compliments from the guests on how well he did making our ceremony fit us and the type of couple we are.

Funny and professional
Nick was a delight! We changed our wedding plans because of COVID-19 rather last minute and Nick was there to answer the call. He was quick to respond, upfront about his services, and his website clarified any questions I still had after our first contact. On the day of, he was right out of the gate hilarious and was ready to go with the flow of our off the cuff style nuptials. He was audible to the audience over the sound of waves crashing on the beach and he added in humor and light-heartedness as much as he could in our short 4.5 minute ceremony (he teased me, the bride, for fumbling the words which we loved and made a little remark about us already holding hands when his script said to hold hands). Everyone (especially my dad) loved him. I only wish he could have stayed longer! But there were more weddings to be officiated. Thanks again, Nick!

I cannot thank him enough for his responsiveness and PATIENCE dealing with me (the bride was running late due to the caterer) ON a Holiday (July 4th) hot evening! He was gracious and pleasant to everyone. He made our wedding flawless! And he was even able to add humor to be able to appreciate the pesky twilight gnats that attended our ceremony, too.

Could Not Have Chosen Better
Anyone going through the wedding planning process is well aware of the fact that the amount of decisions to be made seems endless. Selecting our officiant was not something we were looking forward to, because we did not really know what we were looking for, then we came across Nick and Modern Ministries. He got our attention and the price was fantastic compared to what we had seen. We contacted Nick and met shortly after. It only took a couple minutes to know this was the right person to marry us. Nick is professional, welcoming and kind all while keeping his sense of humor flowing. He listened to what we wanted and delivered. We could not have been happier with our choice and are pleased that Nick will now be a apart of our memories of the best day of our lives.

Nick ROCKED!!! We couldn't have chosen a more perfect minister and person to be part of our special day. He was super communicative and responsive from our initial contact, through till the big day, on the big day and even after. Stellar person all around...and great minister!! He truly made our day memorable with a beautiful ceremony and his positive and "go with the flow" spirit. Modern Ministries is the right choice!
Modern Ministries (Nick Arbia) was the most kind and compassionate minister I have had the pleasure to know. Our wedding had to go through major location/layout changes due to a natural disaster and a spontaneous bride/groom but Nick accepted these changes and ran with them with a smile on his face the entire time. He was a calming, guiding presence that made the bride and groom feel at ease. It became quite clear that his priority was to ensure that the bride and groom were happy. We could not have been happier with our selection of minister and I highly recommend Modern Ministries. Aside from being a very competent and professional minister, Nick was a caring, passionate gentleman who made sure everyone in attendance felt welcome. Thank you!

Nick Arbia of Modern Ministries was recommended to me by the owner of a local venue. I am so glad! Nick was perfect for our somewhat less traditional ceremony and was completely open to our plans. In addition to our ring warming ceremony, we wanted a lighthearted and fun wedding. I, the bride, really did not want to cry. Nick absolutely stepped up beautifully and blended right in to our more upbeat and humorous plan, and to top it all off, he ended up having to do it IN THE RAIN! Rain would normally seem like a disaster for an outdoor wedding, but thankfully Nick just rolled with it. He was excellent and I definitely recommend him!

Nick officiated our ceremony this weekend and we can't thank him enough! From the first phone call with him we felt like we were in great hands and that he was a great fit with our personalities. He kept everyone laughing and smiling through the rehearsal when all your nerves start to set in. He sent us a ton of options and allowed us to pull parts from each to create and customize our vows and ceremony. He made everything so special, and I can't imagine being married by anyone else. We got engaged Feb 2016 and planned our wedding for April 2017. Sadly we ran into some finanacial issues and had to push back our wedding to April 2018. Nick was so understanding and flexible. Thomas and I were dreading having to choose an officiant. We wanted someone non-denominational, upbeat, funny, and most importantly someone that would make us feel comfortable and at ease during one of the biggest moments in our life (no pressure right!) Nick met all of those expectations and more! He has a presence that invites everyone to listen to what he says and knows when to bring in humor and when to be serious and straight forward. He was very responsive to my emails and was flexible with our schedule changes. Nick was amazing and I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Nick was absolutely wonderful, and I'd highly recommend him as a wedding officiant! I had contacted Nick through email about a ceremony I previously saw and he was SO fast to respond! Nick was an absolute pleasure to work with! We decided to have a rehearsal at the last minute, and he was there on time and even didn't mind waiting around on some family who had not arrived yet so that they could be apart of the rehearsal. On wedding day he arrived early and helped out in anyway he could. Nick even got a few smiles out of my daughter who is a very shy 4 year old. Nick made our wedding so wonderful. He is such a great and nice guy. When my husband and I first met Nick it was like he was already a good friend. We could talk to him and be honest. Nick Arbia met and exceeded all of mine and my WIFE'S expectation! We got married in June of this year at 6:15 in the morning! Nick didn't even hesitate when I mentioned we were having a sunrise ceremony. He was easy to get along with and he customized the ceremony just the way that my wife wanted it. We were wed on Oak Island which is 45 minutes from Nick's home (did I mention that it was at 6:15 am?!) and he showed up ready to go at 5:40 a.m. All in all, Nick was great. We were lucky to have found him to be a part of our big day!
