A heartfelt thank you to Claudio and the entire band for the magic you brought to our wedding reception. Everyone was amazing. You hit the mark every step of the way. We couldn’t be happier that you all were with us on our big day and couldn’t be more grateful that you were able to help us out, especially on such short notice.
We are still getting compliments from our wedding guests on the music—everyone saying—THAT BAND! WOW!
You really contributed perfectly to the vibe we were hoping for and the experience we wanted our guests to have. The jazz trio was a hit at the cocktail hour and the full band really delivered over and over all night long.

Mod Society was so incredible and made all of our wedding dreams come true! We had an unconventional request for laid back music from the band followed by dancing music from the DJ. They understood the vision right away and delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The band was unbelievable - we keep hearing from our guests how great the band was and how we found them! All the songs we asked them to learn, they knocked out of the park. And their outfits were also perfect for our vibe and such a stylish bonus, which we didn’t even consider as a possibility! Claudio as our DJ then absolutely nailed the energy we were hoping for, and made for an amazing dance party with energy off the charts all the way through the last song. The whole team was so open minded and collaborative throughout planning, and so talented!! We would recommend them 10/10 times!! -

If you’re looking for a band for your wedding, look no further. You’ve found it! ModSociety performed for our wedding at The Turks Inn in Brooklyn for about 180 guests. We were dancing for 4 hours straight and there was never a moment that the dance floor wasn’t packed. Tons of people asked me if ModSociety played in the city anywhere else so they could go see them again. The music is funky and dancing. The singers are epically good. Definitely recommend getting the horns because they bring something really special to the sound.
The team is very professional and easy to work with without being stuffy. They have a fabulous repertoire and they learned a custom song for us without charging extra. It was my fave moment of the party when they played it.
Finally, the venue manager said they were incredibly easy to work with which took stress off me.
Highly recommended ModSociety!!! -

The band completely exceeded our expectations — their sound was phenomenal, and the energy they brought kept the dance floor packed all night long. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the music was and how much fun they had. One of the best parts of the process was being able to see them perform live at their city showcase beforehand. Hearing them in person gave us total confidence in our choice, and on the big day, they absolutely delivered. Truly an unforgettable performance! -

We hired Mod Society to play our wedding in September of 2025. This was by far the best decision we could have made when it came to entertainment for our big day.
Our goal for our wedding was to have a lively dance floor and Mod Society completely over-delivered in making this happen for us. The band was so talented and did an awesome job of engaging with our guests (special shout out to the drummer for his stage presence during Pink Pony Club). The entire night the dance floor was rocking!
Specifically, one thing that was very meaningful for us was the band learned and played our songs for both our first dance and father-daughter dance and knocked each out of the park.
About a month later, our guests continue to rave about Mod Society and we are so glad they could play our wedding! -

Mod Society was incredible! They kept the energy high from start to finish and truly made our wedding unforgettable. Every song hit perfectly — our guests didn’t want to leave the dance floor all night. The band read the crowd so well and created such a fun, lively atmosphere. We picked Mod Society after going to a bunch of wedding band showcases in NYC and were so happy with our choice! They were incredibly talented and energetic, and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. Where do I even begin? Mod Society was a risk for us, given we hadn't seen them live before and our particular preferences for the type of music we wanted to play at our wedding. (We had a long DO NOT PLAY list) They amazed us from day one. They were so kind and willing to work with our budget to give us what we wanted. And boy did they deliver. They were the highlight of our wedding. Not only are they so incredibly talented, their energy was infectious and not a single person left the dance floor the entire night. One of our singers, Liz even engaged the audience in the songs out on the dance floor. We never could've imagined a better band for our wedding. They made the day absolutely perfect and everyone is still talking about them. Don't hesitate for one second. Book them fast :) -

My wife and I were very picky when it came to selecting a wedding band - we are both big dancers and wanted to find a group that could carry a vibe from R&B all the way over to 90's hits along with left field hits like the Talking Heads and Mod Society delivered all that and more. They were just so good - the band was tight, the singers knocked it out of the park and they kept such a good energy the whole night. Everybody loved the band!
They are pros. Communications and payment was a breeze and from our selections they were able to dial in exactly the vibe we were looking for. -

Mod Society was the perfect wedding band. Do not hesitate to book them for your wedding or event. Working with them ahead of our wedding to curate a set list and review the run-of-show was a seamless experience, and their entire team was professional and easy to work with. The Heart and Soul of Our Wedding
From the very beginning, Mod Society was more than just a band to us; they were the heartbeat of what would become the most magical day of our lives. I had been enchanted by Mod Society ever since I stumbled upon one of their YouTube videos. The entire band's style resonated with us so deeply that, long before we were even engaged, my husband joked about flying them out to Italy, where we knew our eventual wedding would take place. This idea, once a playful musing, became a dream I couldn't shake.
As we began wedding planning, there was a fleeting moment where we explored other bands across Europe, looking for something comparable yet more cost-effective. However, after reviewing nearly 15 bands, it became crystal clear – no one matched Mod Society’s unparalleled quality, sound, style, or vibe. Most bands offered performances of two to three hours at most, but Mod Society’s four-hour performance promised a night of endless fun and celebration.
The deciding factor was seeing Mod Society perform live at one of their showcases at the Red Lion. From that moment on, choosing Mod Society became a priority for us, a decision that we knew would involve sacrificing other elements (albeit, elements that we cared significantly less about) to ensure their presence at our wedding. And let me tell you, it was a decision that paid off beautifully.
Working with Claudio, the owner (and bass player) of Mod Society, and his assistant Rachel, was effortless. Their communication was seamless, making the entire process a breeze. The band’s performance at our welcome party, which featured live band karaoke, was an absolute hit – so much so that my mother, amidst the fun, half-joked that the wedding itself couldn’t possibly top the welcome dinner.
But of course, Mod Society exceeded even those high expectations. They provided not just the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, which was wonderful in itself, but they also transformed our reception into a night we would never forget. Because Mod Society is not your average, cheesy wedding cover band. They’re rockstars. And it felt like we were at our own personal concert. The entire band brought a level of energy and joy that we, and all our guests will treasure forever.
They learned several songs just for us – a special song for our ceremony, and three for our reception including our first dance and the father/daughter dance. Each performance was executed flawlessly, adding a personal touch that made our wedding uniquely ours.
By the end of the night, my father, who generously supported our wedding, summed it up perfectly: "The band – worth every penny." It's hard to describe the feeling of living a dream you never dared to dream, but that’s exactly what Mod Society gave us – a perfect, unforgettable wedding. If you're looking to fill your wedding with unforgettable joy, vibrant energy, and music that touches the soul, don’t hesitate to invest in Mod Society. Best wedding band in the greater NY area!!
If you’re looking for a wedding band in the greater NY area, I’m not sure why you’d choose any band other than Mod Society! As Danielle and I were planning our wedding we knew we wanted a band as I am a musician and we both share a love for live music. After lots of research, we booked Mod Society for our Montauk wedding and could not be happier with our choice! We had a 9-piece band with three singers, guitar, bass, drums, keys, and 2 horn players - each and every member of the band is insanely talented and brings a ton of energy to the party.
On the back end, Claudio is a joy to work with. He is committed to working with you to bring your vision to life, and brings a ton of experience in the industry to the table to make this happen. Not to mention, relative to other NY-area bands, Mod Society’s pricing was very reasonable for a band of this size and caliber.
On top of all of this, Mod Society worked with us to coordinate the perfect time during the reception for me to go up with the band for a song. I played bass, my dad played drums, and my best man sang, while the Mod Society guitarist played along with us to Give It Away by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It went so well and our guests raved about the performance. Our friends and family can’t stop raving about how great Mod Society was! Go see them at one of their showcases at Red Lion and book them to play your wedding - you won’t regret it! -

Claudio and the band brought down the house at our wedding! They worked with us on the play list, learned a few songs at our request, led an insanely high energy hora, and played an amazing show. From the wedding music itself, to the cocktail hour, to the first dance, and finally a great two and a half hour set... once the dancing started we didn't stop all night. My now wife and I knew we wanted a band at our wedding. We're both musicians (her being a trained drummer and me being a "couch" guitarist who can play a mean Tom Petty). After hearing ModSociety on their Instagram and Youtube channels, we got very excited and ended up booking them. We saw them perform a few months later at a bar in New York City and knew that we made the right decision. They sounded great and had such a good stage presence.
The entire communication process with ModSociety in the months leading up to our wedding was so easy and stress-free. Claudio (the producer, manager, and bassist) was directly involved in all communications, expressed excitement about our day and song selections, and granted our request for my wife to play drums with the band. HOW FRIGGIN COOL!!?!
To no surprise, they EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS at our wedding. We had a lively group and the band's set list matched the guest's energy. The band also nailed the songs that we chose for our ceremony and first dance, along with the father/daughter and mother/son dances. My wife killed it on drums and the band was so receptive to her jamming with them. It was a magical experience.
The band members were also very friendly and interactive after sets, just real good people who we felt like we knew for years. Our guests could not stop raving about the band both during the wedding and in the days and weeks after. So if you've read this entire review, BOOK THIS BAND. You will not be dissapointed. -

Choosing the right band for our wedding was one of our top priorities (second only to the venue!) and Mod Society blew our expectations out of the water! Mod Society is the BEST WEDDING BAND and I couldn't recommend them more! My twin sister had them at her 2021 Shelter Island wedding, and we loved them so much that we hired them again for my January 2023 NYC wedding. Their repertoire is fantastic and they are an extremely talented group who can get the dance floor going like no other band, and have the most fun doing it. Claudio takes great care in every client, making sure they feel like the success of their day is just as important to the band as it is to you. I greatly appreciated the level of communication and personalization leading up the wedding, and went into my day knowing that this talented team of professionals had my back at every moment. Wow is really all I have to say about Mod Society! My husband was leaning towards having a DJ for the wedding but when we were driving home afterwards the first thing he said was “I’m glad you talked me into a band because they were awesome!” Claudio and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We booked the 10-piece band and they were outstanding. They have a long list of songs they can play and any song we mentioned in our meeting with Claudio, the band learned and played flawlessly, no questions asked! By far the number one question I received after the wedding was “what’s the name of the band?” They read the room and kept the music going all night. From the second the first dance was over the dance floor was packed until it was time to leave. They did such a great job from the ceremony to cake cutting and everything in between. I can’t recommend them enough. They made our wedding truly unforgettable! -

We hired Mod Society for our wedding on September 24, 2022. They absolutely blew our guests away with their talent!!!! Claudio the band leader was a pleasure to work with and was very professional. From the first note played, Mod Society created the most joyful, inspiring, uplifting, fun dance party any of our guests or we had ever attended! OMG… talk about a BAND who knows how to PARTY! I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Mod Society was. My husband and I were lucky enough to attend a preview show for couples back in late 2019. From the moment we saw them, we knew - this was it. This was the band we wanted. No matter the cost. The music was a huge priority for us and we budgeted accordingly - but it was even better when Mod Society offered great packages. We ended up booking a 10-piece band - which included instrumentals for the ceremony. Claudio - the manager - is a fantastic vendor. He communicates almost immediately, answered my many questions, and takes the time to call you to understand you as a couple, your desires, and genre interests.
When the pandemic hit, they didn’t miss a beat and held my reservation for an entire year (at no additional cost). It was a long wait for our wedding, but I am so glad it worked out to still use them.
The band members are a great group of people who you would want to hang out with as friends. They arrived on time, set up, and packed up efficiently and carefully. They all dressed appropriately and appreciated the vendor meals that I made sure were a priority.
After a pandemic, we were the first wedding for a lot of our guests, and boy did they bring the PARTY. The band was jamming the moment our guests entered the space. Multiple guests commented how they felt like “they were at a live concert” and raved for weeks about our party. Mod Society took quick, efficient breaks, and the best part - they read the room. Not once did our dance floor clear and they played all of our hit favorites - and even a 90’s set - which was a big hit with our mostly millennial crowd. I cannot recommend them enough. Worth every penny. I wish I could hire them again and again! Thank you, Claudio and team, for an amazing performance and for elevating our party to that level! -

Modsociety was the very first vendor we booked after setting a date, and when we had to reschedule due to the pandemic, our new date was always going to be contoingent on their availablity. They are that good. From striking the perfect tone during our ceremony, to bringing the house down after the reception, seriously the amount of talent these musicians have is truly incredible. On top of all this, there’s also the band’s leader, creator, and bass player, Claudio. He handles all communication for the band and is so incredibly on top of it. HIs repsonses were always prompt and incredibly thoughful. We had some non-traditional song requests for him, and not only did he deliver, but he worked with us to make sure what we were imagining is what all our guests ended up hearing. The man is great, his band is out of this world, you would be doing yourself a disservice to hire anybody else. Trust us. -

Best Band Ever
Mod Society was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding – we actually chose our wedding date around their October availability. With that said, we had high expectations, and they did not disappoint. From the moment Mod Society started playing, no one left the dance floor! We have been getting compliments and questions about the band – who they were, how we found them, etc. – multiple times per week since the wedding, which was over a month ago now. We’re super excited to field all these inquiries because we’re really hoping we’ll get another wedding night with Mod Society soon!! Every age group loved them and had an absolute blast – one of our wedding guests even joined them on stage to sing his own song mid-reception! Plus, as an added bonus, we were lucky enough to have Kita, the adorable headphone wearing service dog, grace us with her presence. She was a huge hit amongst our dog loving guest list. Claudio is incredibly responsive and easy to work with – super laid back and has all things wedding under control. We loved everything they did from the minute they started at the cocktail hour until the last second of their last encore song. Hiring Mod Society was definitely one of the best decisions we made! I’m already scheming a trip to NYC to see them again live at Red Lion. Thank you, Mod Society, for the absolute best cocktail hour and reception!! -

When my husband and I went to see ModSociety perform live, we just knew we had to hire them as our entertainment. Not only are they extremely talented (how are they not famous!?), they are all such lovely people to work with. Claudio was so patient with my dad as my dad owns a wedding venue so of course every little detail had to be reviewed. Claudio assured him that they would be able to handle everything and they did just that! It was also great that the team did everything from our ceremony all the way through to the reception. Mod Society was absolutely FANTASTIC! We booked Mod Society on the strength of our wedding planner Ashley O'Neil's recommendation, and soon after saw them perform at a showcase at Red Lion in NYC. We knew we had made the right decision -- the entire bar was up on their feet dancing the entire night. Their vocals and instruments are incredible, and stage presence is spot on -- they are an overall extremely talented, charismatic, and fun band!
Mod Society absolutely delivered for our wedding on 9/18/21 -- we booked both the ceremony guitar duo (a must!!) and the band for the reception. Our dance floor was so much fun and really made our wedding great. The band was so flexible easy to work with -- we had a few last minute requests (including a guess performance by a friend!) and there was no problem fitting everything in.
Claudio is exceptionally responsive, responding to email in less than an hour. He did a great job at keeping me calm and excited throughout two years of wedding planning -- even through postponing and replanning our wedding due to COVID --- and made the whole process efficient, lighthearted, and not stressful. I would 100% book again and recommend to ANY friend or family member planning a wedding -- thank you so much Mod Society! -

MOD SOCIETY WAS SENSATIONAL. There is so much to say about them. When we first discovered them through one of the wedding websites, we were immediately obsessed. We could not stop watching the youtube videos provided on their website and it felt like we could sign a contract sight unseen. They had a show coming up on the UES and we decided it was probably in our favor to check them out...just in case. They were amazing and we knew they were the band for us. They had everyone dancing in this small UES bar. Fast forward to wedding planning during the COVID pandemic - Claudio was so helpful. He was always responsive and happy to talk things out with us. We went from a 200 person wedding to a 26 and kept the band as our entertainment. We got married in NY and during our planning learned that dancing was restricted due to COVID. This was news we were devastated to hear, but Claudio was resourceful and understanding and just happy to play music (they had not played since February due to COVID). Our wedding turned out to be perfect and every person at the wedding was SO impressed with Mod Society. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. Their volume was perfect, they brought it up when they could and kept it appropriate when necessary. They even learned Phish for us, which is not their typical sound - but they nailed it. The band members were awesome and friendly. Everyone is still talking about how amazing they are. I know they'll be busy in 2021, but we want them at our next event when we can really turn it up. We're still obsessed. -

Claudio and the Mod Society band made our special day TRULY special. We fell in love with Mod Society after viewing their repertoire on the band's website. We booked them immediately without even seeing them live. I'm so glad we did. Claudio made the entire booking and planning process a breeze and flawlessly conquered all logistical challenges involved in traveling with a large band from NYC to a wedding on Martha's Vineyard. The band was incredible. Lively, engaging and so much fun. Guests are still talking about Mod Society and many have reached out for their info. In planning our wedding, two items were especially critical - food and music. Now reminiscing the day - just 6 months back - I can still taste easy savory bite and vividly see the pure happiness radiating from our guests as they danced around us throughout the day/evening. Mod Society was everything we wanted and more from a band!
After researching online, we stumbled upon Mod Society and planned a date night at The Red Lion (Bleeker St.) to hear the band live. As soon as they took the stage - we were excited about the possibility of partnering together. The live shows are a fantastic way to get a sense of the music, vibe and talent. And oh my goodness what talent they have!! As the vocal singers rotated in, we fell more and more in love with what we heard. They say, “music is medicine for the soul,” and that is exactly what Mod Society does. We spent that Wednesday date night at the Red Lion dancing to all of our favorites - alongside the entire bar who was also too inspired my the music to simply sit/drink.
Following the performance, we spoke with Claudio (founder/producer/bandleader) and set the partnership in motion. Claudio is a gem - great to work with, genuinely interested in our aspirations, detail-oriented (explaining all of our options), incredibly knowledgable and kind. Claudio provided us with all of the information we needed to make decisions, clarified all of our questions and seamlessly coordinated and moved along the entire process. It was stress free and enjoyable; we so valued his time, patience and expertise!
We selected a 9-piece band with 3 singers (Elliot, Lindsay and Keren) and from ceremony to reception they did not disappoint. Working directly with our venue, Mod Society handled set-up and coordination throughout the event - we didn’t have to think of anything - they covered it all! The guitar/bass/sax during ceremony significantly elevated the entire experience, bringing so much love and enjoyment to the ceremony. This sentiment carried into the cocktail hour, with an instrumental quartet set-up (guitar, upright bass, sax, percussion).
And then as for the reception, I don’t remember seeing anyone sitting down between courses as the dance floor was FULL. Mod Society had everyone in a groove, dancing, singing and smiling from ear-to-ear to an array of hits. As we greeted and thanked guests, I couldn’t help myself but jump into the center of the dance floor and vibe with the music. The energy was absolutely intoxicating in the best way possible. Following the wedding, our friends and family raved about the music and band - many stating Mod Society was the best band they’ve ever experienced at wedding - and these conversations continue to this day. My mother in particular continues to reminiscence her favorite memory of belting, “Rollin On The River” into the mic with Keren. I so fondly remember this moment as well.
I could go on and on - Mod Society helped us to create such special moments that we’ll forever cherish. Thank you Claudio and the entire band for playing an instrumental ;) role in our special day.

We are so happy we booked Mod Society to play at our wedding! Most importantly, they did a great job on the performance, and we got lots of compliments from our guests on the band. They have a pretty extensive song list, and even learned a few additional songs for us, including one that they would never have heard before. Plus, Claudio was so helpful and responsive every step of the way through the planning, and was even knowledgeable about details about how things worked at our venue. I would absolutely recommend Mod Society to anyone! -

Mod Society was absolutely the best band I could have asked for for our wedding last year. Right from the start they were great with communicating and working with my family and I to accommodate us with whatever we needed. On the day of, they were amazing -- sounded great, brought a fun energy, and kept my friends and I dancing all night. Mod Society
When it came to planning our wedding Kel and I had a lot of experience to draw upon....see when you get married in your 30’s, the number of weddings attended begins to inch from the 10’s and 20’s into the 30’s and 40’s. As a result, we had a good feel for what we wanted and at the core of that ‘must have’ list was an amazing band. We wanted the band to be the center of the wedding reception (in a good way); captivating our guests and keeping them on the dance floor all night long.
Kel and I are unabashed people pleasers so we wanted guests to come away from our wedding feeling like they’d just been to an insanely intimate concert with this unknown but awesome band that was all theirs for the evening. Sky high standards, I know.
CUE MOD SOCIETY....From start to finish Claudio and company exceeded said standards...
While we were doing our due diligence across the typical Philadelphia wedding band circuit, our planner (sup confetti and co) dripped the idea of this band from Brooklyn that she whole heartedly endorsed. Instantly intrigued, kel and I shot up to NYC on the next train to catch a performance and found ourselves jamming out across their entire set. Our decision was pretty easy after what we’d just experienced and in my opinion it was the best one we made throughout the entire process (besides picking each other to marry of course).
Feel like a review of any vendor needs to encompass the lead up to the big day as well as the wedding itself and needless to say MOD SOCIETY checked both boxes. Claudio was an awesome liaison. Responsive and kind, he welcomed our questions and a few unique song requests right up until the start of the show... and about that show....they crushed. Somehow exceeding our exceedingly high expectations, MOD delivered the concert of our dreams; one that all of our friends continue to discuss almost 5 months later. Their ability to hit all types of music created a dance floor that not only suited our best buds but also my 80 year old parents and their crew.
I left our wedding so happy; not only marrying my best friend, but loving the energy and excitement that mod society delivered ALL NIGHT LONG. It truly felt like a personalized show and we can’t thank the band enough for their insane talents and unbelievable efforts....I couldn’t endorse a vendor with more enthusiasm.
Pick MOD SOCIETY and don’t think twice about it.

We hired the Mod Society for our rooftop Brooklyn wedding in September of 2019 and I cannot say enough good things! From the moment we reached out, Claudio was super responsive to every question we had and was consistently great to work with throughout the process. On the day of, they far exceeded our expectations. They sounded AMAZING, crushed all the songs we asked them to learn (even sang a song with my dad) and made sure the dance floor was packed all night. We also reached out to a bunch of other bands, and Mod Society was notably great about working within our budget. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. -

Great news - you can stop looking for the perfect wedding band, because you really can't get better than Mod Society. Booking them was one of the best decisions we made during our planning process. Claudio and the gang are so easy to work with and really fill the room with good vibes. They are INSANELY talented (I can't express this enough. We had a bunch of musicians in the crowd and they were all blown away) and know how to make a party a true party. They don't at all feel like a traditional wedding band, which was exactly what we wanted. I can't thank Mod Society enough for being so awesome during the planning and for making our reception one to remember. Our guests are still talking about how awesome they were. These guys are real, talented musicians, who have style and can also play all the hits. They aren't your garden-variety, corporate wedding band with a plug n'play group of singers and instrumentalists. It felt like having our friends play our wedding, if our friends were an incredible 10piece band with unbelievably talented singers, horns, guitars, drums, etc. We got non-stop compliments about them. One of our friends even hired them for their own wedding after hearing them at ours. Claudio was super responsive and helpful in all our requests. In particular, we needed an extra-long hora (Jewish wedding music w/circle dancing), and these guys crushed that better than any Klezmer band we've seen. They did every musical aspect of our wedding, the ceremony (guitar and cello), cocktail hour (jazz quartet), and the party (9-piece full band with horn section). They even learn up to 4 new songs just for your party. They aren't cheap, but they're worth every penny. -

Mod Society is even better than their web reel suggests. Their talent and energy were unreal - they really did play for three straight hours without taking a break! Since getting married in September, our friends and family have not stopped raving about them.
For an idea of their range, our wedding party walked down the aisle to "Such Great Heights" (Postal Service), I walked down to "Falling Slowly" (Once), our first dance was "Harvest Moon" (Neil Young), to "Proud Mary" (Tina Turner).
Our lead female singer, Karen, was Amy Winehouse reincarnate and Elliot, our lead male singer, did Bruno Mars better than Bruno Mars. Plus, their manager, Claudio, was a delight to work with. Seriously - stop reading this and book them. They'll take your wedding to the next level! -

From the first time I saw a video of one of their performances online, I knew they were the perfect band for our wedding--no one else I saw in our search came even close to their energy, musicianship, style and vibe. Then my husband and I saw one of their live showcases in NY and that sealed the deal. To top it off, Claudio was the most prompt, professional, helpful vendor I dealt with during the whole wedding planning process. As for the wedding performance itself, I was totally blown away, as were all our guests! I'm still getting compliments from guests who said Mod Society was by far the best wedding band they'd ever seen, and I totally agree. They made our celebration an all out PARTY! Seriously hoping I get to attend another wedding where they play so I can dance the whole night. The best of the best! -
