Danielle is the BEST!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Danielle! From my trial, she completely blew me away. She truly listened to what I wanted, took the time to perfect my look, and somehow managed to make it even better than I imagined. On the wedding day, she did makeup for me (the bride), my mom, my mother-in-law, and three of my bridesmaids (and every single one of us felt absolutely beautiful)!
Not only did our makeup last flawlessly all day (and night!) and photograph beautifully, but Danielle brought the best energy into the getting ready suite. She’s the ultimate girls’ girl! She’s so genuine, bubbly, and the biggest hype woman you could ask for on such a special morning. She made everyone feel confident and comfortable, and it honestly felt like having another close friend there.
If you’re looking for a makeup artist who’s insanely talented and an absolute joy to be around, Danielle is your girl. I feel so lucky to have had her be part of my day! She’s simply the best!

Your dream makeup fairy godmother 🧚‍♀️

I was very lucky to have found Danielle for my wedding, not only she did a stunning makeup but she was so thoughtful in making me feel special that day, she also made me feel a special kind of enthusiasm that I really needed. So grateful for her. She also did my engagement and since then many times for my family pictures.

Highly Recommend! The BEST MUA

I had an amazing experience working with Danielle! From the very beginning, communication was clear and consistent. She submitted a detailed schedule weeks in advance, which helped everything run smoothly on the big day.

She arrived on time and was completely set up before the first service began, needing very little direction. Throughout the entire process, she was a pleasure to work with—so friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely fun to be around.

She took the time to explain makeup options and her techniques, making everyone feel comfortable and confident. She worked with a variety of skin types and was able to cover imperfections beautifully without the makeup looking heavy or cakey.

She stayed on schedule all morning and even provided thoughtful touch-up kits for everyone. The makeup held up flawlessly from early morning through late into the evening!

I also really appreciated that she was able to accommodate my makeup trial the night before the wedding and tie it in with my rehearsal dinner look, since I was coming from out of town.

She brought such great energy to the getting-ready suite and helped everyone feel their best. I can’t recommend her enough!

Fantastic experience

I am so lucky to have found Danielle for my wedding hair and makeup. She was extremely communicative and detail oriented. She spent a lot of time pre-wedding getting to know my likes/dislikes/vision. My hair and makeup had a lot to contend with that day, as there was record heat and humidity and my ceremony venue was a greenhouse and the reception venue was outdoors. Both my hair and makeup held up great. In fact, multiple people commented at the reception that they were impressed my makeup was still perfect. On top of being very skilled, Danielle has a lovely, positive attitude and is nice to be around. I would highly recommend!

A True Wedding Day Hero – Danielle Mock is the Best!

Danielle Mock from Mock Makeup is an absolute dream to work with! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also one of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day—my makeup was flawless, exactly what I had envisioned, and it held up perfectly all day (even in June heat and humidity).

And to top it all off, after she had packed up and was headed to her car, I accidentally sprayed champagne on my freshly done face (classic bride moment!)—and without hesitation, she came running back to fix everything. That’s just the kind of person she is: caring, committed, and truly invested in making her brides feel amazing. I cannot recommend her enough and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Everyone needs danielle in their life.

Danielle is the most genuine, down to earth, talented make up artist I have ever met. She was so adaptable and made me feel at ease when planning a wedding during COVID. Her level of cleanliness was top notch and she was spot on with everyone's makeup. All of our makeup has also lasted for days. I wish Danielle could make me look like a glam Greek Goddess everyday of my life. She is so talented and has the best products. I would recommend her over and over and wish I could give her 20/5 stars. She made my big day so special and even helped me with my hair when we could not figure out the wedding veil.

Awesome job

Danielle was so much fun! She was super flexible with many changes due to Covid and was able to provide a one-on-one bridal service that was such a great experience. She made me feel so beautiful and kept me laughing the whole time! And my makeup was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend her for any wedding!

Couldn’t picture the day without her!

I am not one to wear make up really at all but Danielle made the experience so worth it! She is hilarious, so kind, and has your back the entire time. She knows what she is doing, knows what looks good, and knows how to have a great time! She is so genuinely kind I feel like that’s hard to find. I wanted a natural look and she nailed it for my trial but the day of the wedding I wanted more and she immediately knew what do put on to look great. I cannot day enough great things about Danielle!

A Better Version of Myself

I loved how I looked on my wedding day, I loved how my girls looked with me and I loved that we looked like ourselves just enhanced. Danielle arrived promptly and with all her gear, the next thing I knew there was a salon in my hotel room. She has such a calming aura about her but can jump into just being one of your girlfriends too. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process with her from hiring, to trial to day of and I could never have imagined looking so beautiful the day of my wedding but that's what Danielle can do for you. While taking your wedding day photos you are basically a model and that's something additional Danielle can bring to the table, as a model herself she knows what will photograph well and what won't. Perfect Artist for My Wedding Day!

Great Make Up

Danielle was a pleasure to work with. Not only was the quality of the make up great, but she was very flexible when we asked her to include family members who were not in the wedding party. She was also extremely professional and just fun to have in the room with us while we were getting ready. I would recommend her not only for weddings, but any make up needs.

Best makeup experience I've ever had!

Danielle is the absolute BEST. I am not a makeup person at all, but I almost want to find another excused to get dressed up so I can have Danielle do my makeup again! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, professional, and talented, but she is also really, really nice. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup and doesn't know much about it, I felt very comfortable and at ease with Danielle. She is so kind, energetic, and fun to talk to--I felt like one of my own friends was doing my makeup! She really listened to me and gave me the natural look that I wanted. I also had some sensitive skin issues, which she took into account. She gave me an amazing airbrush makeup application that was comfortable and lasted all day and night. I felt like a bride but still like myself, and I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. My bridesmaids all loved Danielle and her assistant Emily as well. I would recommend Danielle over and over again!

Flawless Choice for Your Big Day

Danielle does amazing work. She was an absolute delight to work with and created an exceptional look that I absolutely loved. I never wear makeup, let alone get my makeup done so I loved that the final product still felt like me, just an enhanced version.

Danielle provided a lot of good insight into the details that I wouldn't have thought of that helped eliminate any last minute issues that could've crept up on the big day. She helped develop a super useful timeline for getting ready and recommended a great hair stylist when I was struggling to find one.

Danielle also provided a very calming presence on the morning of my big day - she traveled to the getting-ready location, was very punctual and organized, and she fostered a fun, lively atmosphere for getting ready.

I met Danielle at my friends wedding in October 2017. She was sooo fun, polite and amazing at her work I just HAD to book her for my wedding day. From booking my date, to the trail, to my big day, she was there every single step of the way to answer any questions or make any adjustments I needed. Danielle has such an amazing personality, and is just what I needed to feel great on my wedding day. So I am not a make up person, my "can't leave home without" is burts chap stick. Every time I've had make up done for events I always felt like I looked like someone else. I was really nervous about not loving how I looked on my wedding. With Danielle it was instantly different. From our very first email she put me at ease. We met for a trial and it was everything and more that I could have hoped for...I still looked like me, just a much better version! I wore the trail make up for my bachelorette weekend and my friends were all blown away! Hard to believe, but it was even better on the day of my wedding. That's not even the best part about working with Danielle though, she's a good person, like a really good person, and makes each moment so fun! I am honestly looking for other reasons to have her do my make up :) Thank you so much!!!

Danielle was so amazing! She made my family and I look absolutely gorgeous -- and worked with different skin tones, ethnicities, ages, personal styles. Danielle proved her capability in a vast range of styles. She arrived five minutes early, cycled through each of us to keep right on schedule, but was able to accommodate a big, last-minute favor on the bride's part :) Thank you, Danielle! I absolutely LOVED working with Mock Make Up. Right when you meet her, you can tell she loves what she does which made me feel so relaxed having her do my makeup for my wedding. Danielle has one of the best personalities you will ever come across. Not only is her work amazing but she was sooooo much fun. Everyone loved her so much that the other two bridesmaids who are getting married asked for her business card (which are super cute by the way) Day of, before she started my makeup, she brought out her notes and pictures. Danielle was an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first interaction and then leading up until the big day was she was a dream vendor to work with. She is extremely responsive and flexible. The original girl that I planned didn't work out because she was expecting. I made a post on Facebook and Danielle was highly recommended from 4-5 different people. We connected right away. She was always available for questions and concerns. I highly recommend the facial and trial! It was so relaxing and nice meeting her before the wedding as well. Felt like we had known each other for years. She did such a fabulous job on my trial that my my mother and mother in law also decided to have their makeup done. The day of the wedding was fabulous. It felt like we were having our makeup done by an old friend. She did exactly what the girls asked for. Everything was truly amazing! Thanks again for your services Danielle.

Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with! She is knowledgeable, personable, and able to adjust my makeup to what I wanted at both my trial and the day of my wedding. I couldn’t have imagined picking a better hair/makeup artist than Danielle for my wedding day. We had an absolute blast getting ready the day of my wedding, in addition to all the days prior to the wedding when I went to get a spray tan from her (twice) and a trial appointment before the big day. She has the most bubbly, contagious spirit and puts you at ease during a time that could be very stressful for brides. I truly felt that I had the most carefree, relaxed morning thanks to her. In addition to making the morning fun, she did an amazing job making myself and my girls well prepared for a very long day. My makeup was flawless and stayed that way throughout the day, despite being in the sun for photos and dancing the night away. Furthermore, her prices are very reasonable for those on a budget and she is very flexible and accommodating as needed! I would recommend her every single time to any bride-to-be. It truly was just like hanging out with your best friend getting a makeover.

Danielle did a phenomenal job on my wedding makeup! I was amazed by the quality of her work. Leading up to the wedding, Danielle was very organized and easy to work with. She was very accommodating. I show her an example picture of what I wanted and she matched the picture, yet made it her own to meet my needs. Danielle, by far, exceeded my makeup expectations.

Danielle was absolutely fabulous! She was exactly the kind of person I needed both before the wedding and on my wedding day. She put me and my wedding party right at ease while we were getting ready and was able to accommodate a variety of different hair and skin needs. All of my girlfriends were talking about how beautiful my hair and my maid of honor's hair was, and how it held up all night. Danielle is a phenomenal makeup artist who is incredibly knowledgeable about skincare, but she is also genuine and so much fun to be around! I don't normally wear a whole lot of makeup, and I was kind of nervous about booking a makeup artist for my wedding day, but Danielle went above and beyond what I could have imagined. I also received a facial from Danielle prior to the wedding day, and I have never received a facial before but it was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences I've had. I actually went to someone else for a makeup trial before finding Danielle and had a terrible experience, so when I met Danielle after another bride's recommendation - I was ecstatic. Danielle certainly knows what she is doing, and it shows! I received so many compliments about my makeup, and the bridesmaids and my mom LOVED theirs as well. When I saw how the makeup showed up in the professional wedding photos, I was even more impressed than I was the day of my wedding. Truly nothing but great things to say, thank you Danielle!

I'm seriously in love with Danielle ????. She is the kindest, most endearing, and talented makeup artist out there. From your very first interaction to your last it will be an enjoyable experience to work with her. I can't tell you how many times I emailed with questions and she instantly got back to me. Many times I thought to myself- when does she sleep because she was just on it. During my trial we had a blast. She gave me a facial and we talked, laughed, and joked just like we had been friends forever. She has such a fun personality and exudes genuine excitement for your special day. During my wedding she was nothing short of amazing and made myself, 5 bridesmaids, and my mom feel at ease and absolutely gorgeous. While getting ready for the wedding she worked flawlessly under pressure. Even though she had 7 full face applications she stayed calm, danced with us, and ensured we were enjoying the day. There were so many times I interrupted her while she was working on someone else to touch up or add to my makeup and she never even hesitated. She even helped my girls in getting ready, to pin their dress and tie a headband in. She is truly just an amazing person overall and I guarantee you won't be disappointed in booking her services! No need to bother looking for another make up artist, Danielle is amazing!!! I have very oily skin and was worried about my make up on my wedding in fear I would look like a melted mess halfway through the day. I chose the airbrush for my application and I couldn't have been happier!! I had so many compliments on how beautiful I looked, especially my eyes :) When she did my trial run, the make up flaked a bit and I texted her and she immediately wanted to re-do the trial, free of charge, how awesome!!! She actually called the one company and then made some adjustments to the products she used and the 2nd trial was perfect. She has the sweetest personality and is so easy to work with and very prompt to respond to any questions you have. If you are a bride, look no further, her prices were more reasonable than anyone on here. She won Pittsburgh's make up artist of the year for 2016 for a reason ladies!!!!

I worked with Danielle mock on October 1st 2016 and let me tell you that when I say this women is not only AMAZING makeup artist but an amazing person!!! She makes the day so exciting! And she really listens to what YOU want! Let me tell you I'm a very emotional person so you better believe I was a ball of tears! And my makeup looked flawless the entire day! I was amazed!!! Danielle was responsive and flexible to the other girls requests on thier make up. She gave me a flawless airbrush application that lasted through the heat of the day. I was worried that the make up would melt off since it was above 85 degrees but, it was gorgeous through out the wedding. I could not have possibly had a better makeup artist for my wedding day! My guests commented all night that I looked like a "movie star"! But, Danielle does more than just paint you gorgeous, she makes sure that you have everything you need to dance the night away and remain flawless. Even though my makeup was done at 2 pm and my reception was until 10 pm and the air was broken in my venue, making the reception hall 90 degrees (I am so not joking), my face was flawless until I washed it off after our after-party at 4 am. Danielle is truly one of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure to work with, and honestly to encounter in life, generally. She made the morning prep with my entire bridal party, my mother and my mother in law (a recipe that could have spelled drama) into a party and had us all laughing and having a blast! When you hire Danielle, you are making the conscious choice to make a new friend, and you certainly won't regret it!

I have gotten my hair and make up done by many professionals in the Pittsburgh area for my engagement party and in San Francisco for my wedding in Napa and Danielle is by far my favorite person and the best make up artist and hair stylist I have had! Danielle came to my parents home in Ohio to do my hair and make up for my baby shower. She was so sweet and flexible via email. She gave us an excellent price for driving an hour all the way from Pittsburgh. She did a great job and I loved my hair and make up!! I asked for more of a natural look and she did just that! She did not rush me and made sure I was happy with everything before she left. She was very professional and my family and I will definitely use her again.

Danielle was fantastic! I booked her pretty late, 2 weeks before my event and she was super flexible and responsive. I booked her for a 330am time slot on a Monday morning (south indian weddings happen early!), and she was willing to come at that time and not overcharge me. She sent me her packages ASAP, and then we spoke on the phone to confirm things. She was super professional, friendly and open, which made me select her over others. I was really looking for someone who could do a natural look vs something that looked cakey or that had too much make up on things...Danielle's pictures on her website looked very natural, and the outcome was exactly as I expected.

Actual make up and hair: Danielle brought an assistant with her (Jamie) who ended up doing all our hair, and Danielle focussed on the make up. It was GREAT because we got done faster, and she didnt charge us extra. I got the airbrush look done, and it stayed for the rest of the day, and wasn't hard to remove which was fantastic. My sister and mum were also really happy with their make up. We were also thrilled with our hair! And they definitely did the all natural look...and stayed with us until we were dressed in case they needed to fix anything. I got lots of compliments on my hair and make up that day which I was thrilled about.

Danielle and Jamie's personalities: Usually I wouldn't write anything about this specifically, but I have to say these two are outstanding. They are so POSITIVE, smiley, high energy, and fun! Within a few minutes of meeting them they already had us laughing and super excited about our day! My mum who doesn't laugh easily was also laughing throughout the time period! Their energy was infectious and I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is seeking hair of makeup. Personalities really make a difference! My mum wanted her hair changed up and they spent extra time doing that at no additional cost. Danielle even helped me get dressed!

Stop looking around for a makeup artist and just book mock makeup!
Danielle is the absolute best!!! I had several trials with other makeup artists and never liked the makeup. I absolutely loved the makeup on my wedding day and my bridesmaids were super impressed as well. Makeup is not something Danielle does on the side for fun, this is her career. She works with local tv/photographers and stays up to date on the latest products. There is nobody better!
Something else to think about is that you will be spending your wedding day with whoever you choose for hair and makeup... You could not find a more kind hearted, spectacular, upbeat, more beautiful woman than Danielle!

Mock Makeup should be a featured vendor! Danielle is not only one of the best make up artists that I've ever met, she's also the sweetest and most kind hearted person. From the time that I met with her for my trial up to the day of my wedding she made me feel like a special bride. She travels and does on site makeup, which was extremely convenient for my bridal party. I, personally, have never looked or felt more beautiful than I did on the day of my wedding. In all honesty, everyone looked GORGEOUS!! She was able to do makeup on a variety of ages from me and my bridesmaids, to my mom, and my grandma. After my trial I felt I wanted a few small changes to our plan (more shimmer on my eyes and a different lip color). When I contacted her about the changes, she openly accepted my ideas and knew EXACTLY what to do. My makeup was everything I hoped and dreamed for on my wedding day. Myself, and some of my girls don't typically wear much makeup, so we were a little unsure about how it would go at first. Danielle understood, and made us all look beautiful. Danielle is amazing to work with! She does amazing work, truly listens to what her clients want, and has such a fun personality that it is impossible to do anything but enjoy working with her. I was concerned about whether or not my makeup would last, however, those concerns were unfounded. The application lasted all day and all night (literally all night, as I woke up the next morning and it still looked great!), even through humidity and rain. Danielle, owner of mock makeup, was such a miracle worker. I knew she was talented and chose to forego a trail run. She spoke to me on multiple occasions about what I was looking for etc.

The day of the wedding I gave her Minimal direction, natural and the colors of the wedding party. She made me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt in my entire life! I received SO many compliments throughout the day, becuase my makeup lasted ALL day. It looked just as good as it had when it was applied.

Through start to finish, it was wonderful to work with such a talented person. Danielle not only did my makeup, but my mothers, sisters and mother-in-laws. They all felt the same as I did, beautiful! I highly recomend mock makeup to any bride looking to feel better than ever on her wedding day!

Mock makeup was absolutely amazing! Danielle was fantastic to work with and made me feel flawlessly beautiful for the big day! She listened to what I wanted and did not pressure me into anything. I will use Danielle for all future events.

Danielle was amazing! She did the makeup for my wedding - for me, my bridal party, and the moms. She did a great job catering the makeup to each person's personal style and comfort level. I didn't do a trial for my makeup and after talking with Danielle the day of, she nailed my makeup on the first try. I would definitely ask her to do my makeup again and recommend her to anyone!!

Danielle from Mock Makeup was a pleasure to work with !

She provided my bridesmaids, mom's,and myself with each an individual stunning look for my wedding day. We received numerous compliments and I have recommended her to all of my friends and family.

Since my wedding day I have used Danielle's services many of times and not just for make up !

She has provided me with facials and skin consults on numerous occasions and can shape eyebrows like no one else !

Danielle did the makeup for the bridal party for a wedding I was a braidsmaid in. I've been in a few weddings, but Danielle by far was the best. She was sweet, professional, and caring. Since then, I've used her services a handful of times and I've continued to be increasingly satisfied. She's a very inspiring, sweet woman, and im lucky to have her on speed dial for all my beauty emergencies!

Danielle was great throughout the whole process, from taking all my phone calls, my makeup trial, to the makeup for all my bridesmaids and I. She listens to you and any of her clients about the look you want, and can always deliver since she carries with her suitcases full of product, something for everyone! She was always quick getting back to me, and arrived on time any where we were supposed to meet. Since I typically don't wear a lot of makeup, I didn't want to feel overloaded or like a clown on my big day. I felt comfortable and looked exactly how I wanted. I had so many compliments, and my bridesmaids still raved about it after the fact. I've already reference Danielle to another friend getting married soon, with whom she booked. Thanks a bunch for everything! You won't be disappointed with Mock Makeup!

I just would like to take the time to write a post about my time and session with Danielle Mock of Mock makeup. My appointment and experience was above and beyond what i ever expected. She responded to me right away when i was in a bind for an artist for my wedding, and was very understanding and easy going, also very informative about all the questions i had since it was my first time with professional make up artist. At my trial, she made it a very relaxing environment and was a gracious host to us as guest in her house. The day of my wedding, my hair appt ran late and she stayed and waited patiently for me to do my mine after all my girls were done. Now about the make up and her talent !!! I couldnt believe how amazing she is and how beautiful her work is! I loved everthing she did and couldn't have wanted more. I showed her a pic and she did it to a T. I cannot wait to have the opportunity to work with her again. Danielle is so unbelievably talented and i'd reccomend her to anyone for any special occasion or just to treat urself to some pampering. It doesn't hurt either that she is hilarious and has a contagious and an awesome personality. Danielle Mock ( Mock make up) thank u for making me look so beautiful on my big day and the wonderful experience !

Danielle was very professional and outgoing. She made me feel at ease and was easy to talk to. She listened to my concerns and the look I was going for. I ended up loving the makeup and it definitely wasn't something I could have done myself! The look was just what I wanted and as an added bonus it lasted all day through the hot sun, stuffy and hot church, and the reception! I'd highly recommend Danielle for anyone seeking professional makeup services.

I'm shocked a makeup artist as talented as Danielle Mock is in a small city like Pittsburgh... She is by far the most talented makeup artist I've ever worked with (including when I lived in LA and got my makeup done by someone who's worked with Beyonce before). Not to mention she the best personality ever! I highly recommend her services for any occasion.

Danielle did my makeup for my wedding this past May and did an AMAZING job! She did a perfect job of transforming the look I desired and incorporated it perfectly with my wedding gown and dress! She adapted everything we talked about in my makeup trial and perfected it on the big day even more flawlessly! She ensured me my makeup would last all day and it looked perfect from 9AM-11PM even with the rainy humid weather that day! All of my bridesmaids were also thrilled with their makeup that day, and she kept us on time for everyone's appointment slots! I would highly recommend Mock makeup for a worry-free option for your wedding or important event! :)

I absolutely recommend Mock Makeup! Because of Danielle, I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day!!! Danielle did my makeup, in addition to doing my bridesmaids' and mother's makeup. We all looked absolutely phenomenal in our pictures, thanks to her. I wear makeup daily, but I don't necessarily wear a lot of makeup. For my wedding, I wanted makeup that would standout in pictures, but make me look natural at the same time. Danielle understood exactly what I wanted - she made me look soft, elegant, and flawless! Brides, I highly recommend getting the airbrushed application. It hides every blemish and imperfection and it lasted all day, even through some crying. Also, fake lashes are a must! They truly make a difference in pictures. I can honestly say that I felt the most beautiful that I have ever felt on my wedding day! I have already recommended Danielle and Mock Makeup to friends and I will continue to do so. You deserve to look absolutely amazing on your wedding day and I guarantee that Danielle and Mock Makeup will make that happen! Thank you so much, Danielle!

Danielle is the sweetest, most talented and down to earth makeup artist! She taught me so much about skin care during the process. My wedding party consisted of women who wanted very different looks from extremely natural to extremely fabulous and everything in between, and Danielle adjusted with ease, leaving everyone happy. Her product knowledge was vast, and her skill with airbrushing was remarkable. Everyone kept talking about how we've never looked better! She is an absolute artist with eye makeup... I'm never going to another makeup artist again... I didn't even know I could look so beautiful! My photos were the best I've ever taken because she knew how to bring out my features for the camera without making me look overdone in person. She made it fun and laid back, while maintaining the utmost professionalism. I recommend her highly!!

My mom and I had our trial makeup appointment this past week for my upcoming wedding. Danielle not only was flexible in finding a time that worked for me (I live out of town) but also was so accommodating. She took her time, explained the process as she did each step of our trial. We loved it and had so much fun! It turned out exactly what I was envisioning and feel so at ease and excited for Danielle to do my makeup on My BIG wedding day! Thank you again Danielle!
