  Dave is friendly, professional, and goes above and beyond to provide guidance and ensure things run smoothly

  From our first conversation with Dave after reaching out, we knew we wanted to hire him. He's a true professional, but he's also very friendly and fun.
  
  Dave went above and beyond in his responsiveness, staying attuned to our wants and needs (which sometimes had to change suddenly), and in giving us solid advice for areas we were unsure of. When we got close to our wedding day, it was hard to take everything into account and make some of those tiny but impactful decisions regarding the schedule, transitions, and what makes most sense for our guests. Dave would lend his years of experience to help guide us and make the process SO much easier.
  
  Also, on the day of, some things unfortunately did not go as planned (heavy rain and a power outage!). Dave was instrumental in getting things back on track by keeping us informed, asking us the important questions, and working with the planner and others to fix things. He was more than a DJ - his words and actions showed that our day and everything going on in it were the most important priority to him.

  We would book you 1000x over!!!

  Having a good DJ will be the difference in having the most amazing night of your life, or worst. Thank you for making your wedding perfect. Dave took all the stress out of the wedding and everyone had an amazing time. Not only can he DJ your wedding, he’s also a paramedic who can do the Heimlich if someone consuming their chorizo tacos to quickly. I’d give 10 stars if I could but I’m limited to 5. Thank you again for making the memory of a lifetime

  The Silva wedding

  We met with Dave the week of our wedding. He was so easy to talk to and so much fun to work with. There were comments about “nasty” music not being his favorite but we let it go because we thought he’s a great DJ and understands his crowds so he will most likely play whatever we request on the big day. Looking back we should’ve asked more questions because we know our people best and we wanted this to be fun for everyone. Music is such a huge part of a wedding and he was making custom loops for our big day so we thought he’s recognized how important the music was to us this day. He was very dismissive to anyone I had approach him. The wedding day is a stressful time especially for the bride. I’m working on my hair and make up and needed to get a message to him. I sent my Matron of Honor. She comes back and lets me know he isn’t listening to anything she had just told him and he would come find me. Not at all what we needed on top of other things needing to be handled. My one main request was after the “I do’s” for our exit song to play as we kiss (like in movies) We said our I do’s and stood at the alter for awhile looking like idiots until I finally locked eyes with Dave and told him “Yep play the song”. He proceeded to blame our officiant, who is a great friend of ours, saying “you didn’t say I now pronounce you”, which he did. We heard him just fine and kissed. Come reception time we hit another snag. Our best man count physically attend the wedding due to an accident he had a few months prior leaving him unable to move his legs currently. We had him there on a robot type of technology that allowed him to roll around the venue and be on the screen, similar to facetime. Dave knowing this came up to hold the mic near the robot for his speech but before that he had to sneak in a very inappropriate comment about our best man “breaking a leg on the dance floor”. I’m sure he didn’t mean to be rude or disrespectful but this accident had weighed on our heavily and Dave had only met us the week of our wedding. Not a close friend at all. After all of the greetings, dances and toasts, myself, the bride, gave Dave the heads up that we wanted more up beat or as he calls it “nasty” music played. He laughed and continued to play very outdated music that was not at all what we were expecting. I was clearly upset about the playlist and sat most of the time even though I love to dance. We had a guest go up and tell Dave what we had wanted played. He then told her, “I don’t play that music”. She responded to him and reminded him we paid for his service and expected to hear some music of our choosing. He then got rude with our guest and told her you don’t need to speak to me like that. Once this guest informed me of him dismissing her after she tried to help the entirety of the night, my husband and I decided to take everyone on the dance floor and leave. Our venue offered a boat ride so that’s where we took to. After the boat ride Dave still didn’t catch the hint and continued the playlist that we clearly were not fans of. I can honestly say I spent what was suppose to be the stress free, fun part of my wedding night feeling angry and embarrassed. At the end of the day there is no fixing my wedding day. I married my best friend as that’s all that matters. Just a tip for others, do your research and make sure you build your own playlist. That was the mistake we made. We fully trusted Dave to read the room or at least take requests.

  This is not the typical review that I receive, and I'm certainly upset that you were not pleased. In hindsight, I do think we should have talked much more about the music and your expectations. I did my best to handle the many changes that occurred. I am not a rude person, and am not sure that all of the incidents occurred as you stated, but I am not going to get into any disagreements over your thoughts on the day.. I do wish you all the best in life and much happiness.

He helped coordinate our wedding, guide us through activities and kept everyone dancing. Dave truly loves what he does and it shows through his work.   Highly recommend

  Dave made the process from start to end very easy. He was great with making sure we stayed on schedule the day off. He was accommodating to any changed we needed to make, even the ones the day off. He was incredibly sweet with my grandma and went above and beyond with her by making sure she got back to her seat safely with her food. I would definitely recommend him for any events.

  I first met Dave when he was the DJ for my cousins wedding. He kept the party going, so when it was time for my wedding I knew we had to book him! He is great and so easy to work with! Our dance floor was never empty and our guests had so much fun dancing the night away! The transition from ceremony to reception went smoothly. He even helped keep the song I walked down the aisle to a secret to surprise my husband! It was perfect!

  My husband and I hired Dave for our wedding and he was such an integral part of our special day. Throughout the entire process, Dave was incredibly professional and personable. He took time out of his busy work week to meet with us and review everything we needed for the big day. Thinking back, it was such a stress free experience as Dave frequently assured us that everything would be taken care of. We knew what we wanted for the majority of the wedding (ceremony songs, first dance, mother/son, father/daughter, etc), but gave little direction for the open dancing and he nailed it! The song choices were fantastic and my family won't stop talking about how they took over the dance floor lol. Overall, Dave is reliable, responsible and just an great person to work with! Highly recommend :)

  Best Wedding DJ

  Dave was extremely helpful and made an awesome wedding DJ. From song recommendations and order of events, he took a lot of stress off our plate and helped immensely in making it the perfect day we had planned. Would highly recommend.

  You’ll be on the dance floor all night!!

  When my husband & I were planning our wedding, we both decided the music was one of the most important elements for our day. We both have certain songs we absolutely did not want played, & songs that meant a lot to us that we did. Dave met with us & covered everything! He not only went over our music choices, but he helped us finalize our timeline for the day. Dave played all the music we love, & during dinner the volume was just perfect. Myself (the bride) & my guests were on the dance floor all night! Everyone enjoyed the evening & I'm so happy we booked Mobile Sound Productions for our entertainment!

  The Perfect Day!

  Dave was so much more than just a DJ. He helped make our day perfect & stress free! Not only did Dave play great music that got & kept people on the dance floor, he also made sure our day flowed in a smooth & timely manner. He worked seamlessly with our other vendors and was so easy to work with. I made a last minute change to one of our songs and he totally rolled with the punches! Our wedding was an absolute dream and Dave played a major role in making that happen. I couldn't recommend him more! Thank you!!

  Beyond amazing!

  Dave Rodgers was the best Dj we could’ve asked for. As a DIY bride with no wedding coordinator, he assisted way beyond the music component of the wedding. He guided us in setting up our desired ceremony positions. His assistant and himself ensured everyone walked down the aisle in order & on cue. They even went around and lit candles on all the tables during dinner so my parents could relax and enjoy the night. As for his music, it was fantastic. He kept our very eclectic crowd on the dance floor all night. He was able to adjust to the crowd and play what was working in that moment. I can not recommend Mobile Sound Productions enough.

  Love so so much 🖤

  Dave is great!! I know him from so many different areas of life. He kept my wedding guests of ALL ages on their feet for 5 hours! No one could believe how great he was with his music and his ability to adapt to his audience! We couldn't have had anyone better for our wedding! I LOVED hearing that everyone's feet were killing them the next day! Thank you Dave for everything!!

He is also an EMT so we related much on that part. His daughter was a great help in timing everyone walk down the aisle. He kept people on the dance floor and kept everyone engaged.   Amazing Dj

  This is hands down the best Dj in the central valley. He made our wedding day so special. We also did our gender reveal at our wedding and that was a blast. He has true compassion for his work and customers. His music taste is excellent! He even brought lights to light up the wedding even more. He made our day perfect. Highly recommend Dave for any wedding or special events.
