Reverend Mauricio Review
It was a pleasure having Reverend Mauricio as our officiant for our wedding. He is such a stellar gentleman and takes officiating very seriously where he knows how to take a bad situation and make the most of it. We had an outdoor ceremony and none of us had imagined that we would be having a “tornado” sweeping us up on our wedding day. It was such a windy day and everybody was shivering but he was able to lighten up the mood and make everybody smile and laugh. There were some Filipino ceremonial rites that we had incorporated and one of them was lighting up a unity candle. Due to the strong winds, it made it impossible to light the candles up. As we were standing there watching this, we were wondering “how are we going to go forward with the candles?” Luckily, Reverend Mauricio is witty enough to save the moment. He does a great job improvising when something goes sideways. Not only is he witty, he gave a beautiful account of our stories which he compiled from the homework that he asked us to complete weeks earlier. He added several jokes throughout the ceremony which kept our guests entertained. Many guests afterward, were mentioning how funny he was and really liked how smooth the ceremony was despite the strong winds. 10/10 We recommend having the Mobile Reverend as your officiator.

We are blessed to have found Mobile Reverend to officiate our wedding. I didn’t expect so much personalization but nevertheless he exceeded our expectations. From the sounds of the laughter and participation from our guests, I’m sure they appreciated and enjoyed it as well. Guests said Mauricio was the best officiant they’ve ever heard
I can’t even put a number to how many people at our cocktail hour, reception, and days after the wedding told us Mauricio was the best officiant they’ve ever heard. Our photographer even commented how 3 times during our ceremony Mauricio stepped to the side or made us move to make sure we were able to get the perfect shots. We really enjoyed the “homework” that helped Mauricio craft our stories, and he gifted us our vows beautifully typed after the wedding. A big help to us getting married in CA but living out of state was that he handled our marriage license, gave us a copy to review beforehand, and we signed day off. No trips to LA or anything. It was a HUGE help.

Warm presence with a personable touch to his services
We are so thrilled that we had Mauricio presiding over our wedding ceremony. Since the first call, we felt such care and sincerity from Mauricio, as he really took the time to get to know us and our story. Through our responses to his thoughtful “homework” questions, Mauricio gave such a touching and personable service. It felt really special to have Mauricio recount how we met and our journey together since then while reminding us of the commitment we are making to each other. We opted for a non-denominational ceremony, but Mauricio still added a nice touch with the hand blessing, which fit well with the tone and theme that we wanted to set. His engaging and friendly demeanor really put us at ease that day, and our friends and family still comment on how well he spoke to our love for each other. It was also a bonus that Mauricio is a notary who issued our marriage license, so we were thankful to have that taken care of by him as well. We are incredibly fortunate to have had Mauricio officiate this important milestone of our relationship, and we will forever cherish the words shared by him and the gift of his warm presence.

Wedding officiant
A. Mauricio was amazing during our wedding ceremony. He really made our night special and unique. We had a non-denominational wedding with some catholic traditional references as I, the bride, is catholic. And he incorporated everything so well. He even explained what everything meant. He was so detailed and he kept everything so personal which was the highlight of the wedding. Everything matched us as a couple. He even have a little intro which gave the guests an inside into how we came to be. Myself and my husband were beyond amazed and all our guests loved him and how he did during the ceremony. A. Mauricio also helped us get our marriage license which diminished our stress by a ton. Overall, 5 stars, an amazing officiant to make our ceremony perfect. If you want an officiant who really cares about emphasizing and celebrating your love, get him!!

A romantic elopement that was simply meant to be
Mauricio was an excellent officiant. He managed to make things as smooth as possible considering we were very nervous. He provided options and flexibility as well as very romantic options for our wedding day. On the day of our wedding he provided a ceremony that was just as we asked, short, sweet and romantic. What an incredible ceremony experience I had with Mauricio as our Officiant!
Mauricio is a dear friend of mine I have known for about 5 years now and he is the only officiant I could ever imagine doing my wedding for my wife Gisel and I. We got married at Little Corona Del Mar in Orange County on 11/11/22 and it was incredible! Mauricio was able to deliver the marriage license to our reception venue in Newport Beach where we were getting ready for the ceremony and was even kind enough to drive me to the ceremony so I wouldn’t see Gisel before the wedding.
We planned out the ceremony a couple weeks prior with Mauricio as well as got the marriage license prepared a couple months prior to the ceremony so we didn’t have to worry about anything on the wedding day. I also want to mention that because we got the marriage license delivered, we did NOT have to go to the county clerk's office and take a day off of work and wait in line. This is one thing that Mauricio can do for your wedding ceremony that most other officiants cannot and is honestly a life saver since there are a million other things you have to do to get married.
Regarding the actual ceremony my wife and I had to separately fill out “homework” for Mauricio that he would incorporate into the ceremony that we wouldn’t even know about until the day of the ceremony. This I thought was a perfect idea since he brought up things like how we met, what we did on the first date, special quirks about each other that only Gisel and I would know and it made the ceremony feel that much more special, personalized, and unique. We got married on the beach so Mauricio had a special voice enhancer that one of our guests wore around their neck so everyone including my hearing impaired mother could hear so she was very grateful. His kind words made us all laugh and made the ceremony that much more comfortable for everyone. Since it was a small wedding he was able to bring up something about each of our guests there during the ceremony which made them feel a part of it and special.
Mauricio is the most genuine, humble, and nice human beings out there. If you do read this I really want you to consider everything I have said about him and what he can do for you when choosing an officiant. With him you cannot go wrong with ease of communication, preparation, and the overall performance of the ceremony.

The perfect ceremony!
We found Mauricio through Great Officiants- a preferred vendor suggested to us by our venue (Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton, CA). After initially speaking with Mauricio about our wedding and what we were looking for ceremony wise, we knew we wanted to go with him. He was kind, a great listener, personable, and willing to work with us to create the perfect, personalized ceremony! We wondered how someone who never met us could tell our story and connect with our friends and family- but Mauricio proved us wrong. He sent us a few questions to answer (separately) which he spun into a well written, funny and heart felt narrative of our love story that all our guests loved. He made every moment of the ceremony feel special and important which is exactly what we were hoping for. A few weeks before the wedding we had a phone call meeting with him to go over the entire ceremony timeline and he was super helpful in answering any questions we had. Last but certainly not least, we were living in a different state from the state we were getting married in and he took care of the entire marriage license process for us. It was so easy! He filled out the application, sent it to us for review, then brought it to the venue for us to sign on the day of. We never had to worry or contact the county clerk's office- we knew Mauricio had our backs. After the wedding he submitted our application and now we just have to wait for the final certified copies of our marriage certificate to come in the mail. Overall, a great experience- you won't be sorry when you decide to hire Mauricio!

My husband (my fiancé at that time) and I were looking into getting married somewhere around Long Beach area and found Cute Little Wedding Chapel site online and was very pleased that our officiant was mr. Lubong. He made the whole thing so easy for us (paperworks wise and the ceremony after) and made sure we had no questions after. His message to us as a couple moving forward was very sweet. Loved it! Long story short, we walked out of there happily married.

I think it was fate that we found Mauricio. I was struggling so much to trying to please everyone else but myself and he reminded me that it was my wedding. Culturally, he understood where I was coming from and really made me feel comfortable venting to him. I knew instantly that I wanted him to officiate our wedding. He has this presence about him that is very calming. He also was very responsive whenever I reached out with my million questions.
I loved that he had us do a homework assignment. It really help us focus on our love and why we were marrying each other. We were so busy with life, work, and wedding planning and this activity pushed us to center ourselves as our wedding day was quickly approaching.
He also checked in before the wedding to work out the details. He is very attentive and remembers parts of our conversation that occurred several months before the big day. He made a few suggestions that would accommodate to our needs but also was inclusive of the needs of our family members. He was able to combine religion, Hawaiian, and our non-traditional/unique vibe to the ceremony. It was amazing! He is a great story teller and very animated. We are very sentimental and loved that he puts together a memory book with everything we’ve sent him in it.
On the day of, he arrived early and was very patient with us when our schedule had to change due to the weather. We are so appreciative that he traveled all the way to us in San Diego. He is very affordable and accommodating especially with all the services he provides. It was great that he is a notary as well. Saved us so much time!
He has made such a huge positive impact on making our day so special. We highly recommend Mauricio to officiate your wedding!

I’m so glad we had Mauricio as our officiant for our wedding. He was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. He definitely made us feel at ease. Everything was done through Mauricio - from officiating our wedding to applying for our marriage license. He also printed out our wedding program and our vows for us! We loved how he was able to incorporate the Filipino tradition into our ceremony as well. As Filipino Catholics, it was important for us to observe this as we had an outdoor wedding and this tradition is typically observed in a traditional Catholic wedding inside a church. We were expecting a run-of-the-mill, boilerplate wedding ceremony, which would have been just fine with us. But Mauricio went above and beyond to ask each of us (husband and wife) to tell our personal stories, and then incorporated elements of our stories in the ceremony to add a very personal touch. It made everything so much more special, and we heard from many who celebrated with us that it was a beautiful ceremony. Perfect ceremony, not such a perfect day
Mauricio is one of the most kind and loving people I have ever met. We were so lucky to have him as our officiant. On my wedding day I got a flat tire on my way to the chapel. I was stranded out in Hacienda Heights and everything and everyone was a hot mess. When I finally arrived to the chapel in tears Mauricio really helped to calm me down. He was so kind and patient with us while we were waiting on my future father in law to get back from a bad idea tire replacement. Him thinking the process wouldn’t take long.....it took long enough, while we waited over an hour. He finally arrived. The whole day was so difficult and emotional for us but Mauricio made it so much easier. The ceremony was perfect, he’s perfect! Thank you so much Mauricio we are truly blessed to have you officiate our ceremony!
PS there are so many good things that could be said about Mauricio but this would turn into a five page essay! :)

Wonderful officiant!
A. Mauricio was the perfect officiant for our ceremony! He was helpful with any questions we had leading up to the day and did his best to ensure our ceremony suited us. Mauricio incorporated traditional and religious elements we wanted, as well as adding some humor. We loved that he wanted to include our story of how we met and when we got engaged as a little intro. Because of the pandemic, not all our family was able to join us. Mauricio asked if he could mention my husbands parents who were not able to travel. We found this to be thoughtful and a touching part to our ceremony. His emails and texts also included warm wishes prior to and after our wedding. Mauricio is a great officiant and we highly recommend him!

Mauricio was very helpful, informative, and responsive throughout this whole process. My husband and I initially plan to get married in 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID, our wedding was postponed. Mauricio made sure to make the experience and planning throughout the year very painless and he answered every question I had. Towards the end of the year I decided randomly that we wanted to elope rather than wait until 2021 to have our wedding ceremony. I called Mauricio last minute and he was very accommodating and worked late nights just to get my paperwork completed. He made the stress of trying to get my paper marriage figured out within less than a week so easy and seamless and he communicated to me throughout the whole time about what steps I needed to take. He even brought a marriage certificate for my best friend to sign for us to keep as memorabilia and he made us a very sweet wedding ceremony and said really nice words even though he had such a small amount of time to prepare. He was definitely a key player in making our wedding/elopement so successful and I am excited to see what he brings to the table when we finally have our wedding ceremony and reception. I cannot stress enough how important it is to pick somebody you are happy and comfortable with when they are marrying you and I can say without a doubt that Mauricio is the guy you want. I come from a very religious background and my family is super Christian and Mauricio definitely showed his skills and ability to balance different cultures into something so sensitive like a marriage. I would highly recommend Mauricio to my friends family and if you’re on the cusp, I say give him a try because he made our day very special. Something I really appreciated was the morning of the elopement, he texted us "Happy Wedding Day".. something so small but it really made a huge difference. Friendly and Professional Wedding Notary
Mauricio was truly a lifesaver. He was very accommodating and was very easy to communicate with. He is very knowledgeable, professional, plus extremely friendly. I will definitely recommend him for all your legal paperwork and wedding needs. He does it all from meeting you almost anywhere, marrying you, providing a marriage license, and of course notarizing things. I had to ask Mauricio to meet us to stamp our marriage certificate a second time and he had no problem helping us out. Will definitely contact him in the future if anything else is needed!

Best Officiant - Very friendly, kind, & fun
Mauricio is the best! We are so grateful we found him when we had to change our wedding plans due to covid. He was so kind, fun, and very easy to talk to. He has the most pleasant voice that is so soothing that brought in peace despite being so stressed out after realizing we forgot to bring our marriage license papers to sign. Thankfully, Mauricio was able to issue us a new one on the spot. He even patiently waited for us to finish our romantic photos to complete all the paperwork to be legally married! I would highly recommend Mauricio. He conducted a beautiful ceremony filled with laughs, happy tears, and included "hawaiian" elements such as blowing the conch and performing a unity sand ceremony, to really tell our true love story. We loved it. Mahalo Mauricio!

Amazing, Professional, Fun Officiant!
Since my wife and I had to postpone our original wedding ceremony due to Covid, we decided to do a mini-wedding with just immediate family.
Getting in touch and scheduling with Mauricio was so easy.
He was able to make it a quick, intimate, and fun.
Not to mention, handled all the paperwork for us too.

Just superb.

Absolutely Amazing!
Mauricio was perfect for our elopment. My husband and I eloped to Long Beach with our 2 kids and wanted to get married on the beach. After looking at the bio's from several Officiants we decided that we liked Mauricio since we were really going for the beach look. He helped with every step of the way and answered every question that we had. At the ceremony he even went above and beyond and brought his official hawaiin wedding leafs and even brought leis for all of us to wear. He also printed out the transcript from our wedding for us to keep. He even suggested a part of the beach where it was a bit more secluded so we'd have more privacy. He made our day perfect! We wanted something short and sweet and he kept it that way without it being cookie cutter and personalized it to us. Thanks Mauricio!

A Beautiful 9 Minutes
A chaotic whirlwind came into a chapel and Mauricio handled us and the ceremony with respect and generosity! We’re so grateful to have had him unite us legally in California. I would highly recommend his services as he was very responsive and accommodating to our requests and the price for ceremony plus license was great. We’ll never forget the experience and his service. Great officiant, no matter the circumstances
Our first meeting with Mauricio was great and he made us feel super comfortable and was able to answer any question we had. We had initially scheduled our wedding for September 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to reschedule for August. We had to change to a small elopement and our location. Mauricio was very flexible in working with us and did not allow these changes to negatively affect our ceremony. He made sure to keep an open line of communication and create a ceremony unique to us and our story. We are very happy with our ceremony and how Mauricio incorporated all of our requests with great professionalism. Mauricio made our wedding day special in a difficult time. An exceptional personalized elopement experience!
My husband and I got married and eloped on May 8. Due to the ongoing pandemic, our ceremony appointment was cancelled but we wanted to keep the original date we had picked out, and through our research online, we found Mauricio. I contacted Mauricio in mid-April, and he was very responsive. Despite the ongoing pandemic, he was still willing to work with us and officiate for us. He was also quite helpful in suggesting other venues and even called one particular venue for us. He was a pleasure to talk on the phone and he took time to get to know us. Because of the pandemic, we did not officially meet Mauricio until the day of our wedding, but we had consistent contact through emails, phone calls, and text messages. He has a very kind and gentle demeanor about him. He was even friendlier in person. He personalized our ceremony and made it so much more special. Our ceremony was very moving and beautifully written. For us, he personalized the ceremony and he told our story in a way that perfectly captured us. Then towards the end, he gave us advice on what it takes to have an amazing marriage. He was beyond our expectations. We can definitely say our ceremony was the best part of our wedding. We highly recommend Mauricio.

I cannot say enough good things about Mauricio! He made everything so easy and effortless. And that's saying a lot since we were coming from Illinois to California to get married. He added little details that made our ceremony so intimate, it was like we were life long friends. He was prompt in emails and always available for a chat. He was our superhero when our leis fell through, he save the day and brought his own. He was everything I could have wanted from an officiant. I will recommend him to anyone who would listen. 😉❤️

A Genuine & Fun Soul
Mauricio was not only impeccably professional and a joy to work with, but he always felt like a genuine kindred spirit, someone we were immediately able to connect with.
Beyond an inherent reliability in him enjoying life in a distinctly similar "bon temps rouler" fashion, he was always open to our questions and felt like someone we could relay just about anything to.
He was able to keep both of our nerves in check and made the actual vows a breeze to get through and as appropriately joyous as we were hoping. More than that, he was able to immediately fit in with our wedding parties and was a thrill to have him participate in the following celebration.
We can't state enough how much we appreciated his professionalism, his sense of joy in life, and his meditative yet celebratory spirit.

The very best!
I attended a wedding a few years back where Mauricio officiated. I couldn’t help but get so emotional as he has such a beautiful way of officiating that I’ve never witnessed before at other weddings. I knew right then that I wanted him to my officiate my wedding as well. I recently just got married and him officiating made all the big difference in our small intimate ceremony. An excellent officiant for any kind of wedding
We were fortunate to find A. Mauricio Lubong online to officiate at our wedding. Mauricio is a warm and helpful person. He was completely open about his approach to weddings and his fees. He gathered information from us, met with us, and then exchanged numerous emails to make sure our ceremony was all we wanted it to be. He has deep knowledge and experience, and we were happy to rely on him to include traditional elements in our ceremony, but he also helped us include some particular texts and rituals that were particularly meaningful to us. At the ceremony, he was fully engaging with our guests. He helped those who were participating in the ceremony to carry out their responsibilities with a minimum of anxiety, and his manner calmed any nerves we might have had. He had a great sense of humor without in the least diminishing the seriousness of the occasion, and he moved the ceremony along without any sense of hurrying. He also took care of all the legal requirements and provided us with the documents of record. His fees were extremely reasonable. We can’t thank him enough and are happy to recommend him as strongly as we possibly can.

The supportive voice you need at the alter
A. Mauricio was the best officiant we could have ever found. He is one of the most kind and sincere people I have met. He blended in as one of the family and gave us the California funny, laid back style we had wanted while still maintaing professional. He came punctual and prepared and always had a smile on his face and a calm, loving voice that puts you to ease at one of the most intense and often stressful times of your life. He had patience for all our missteps and questions. I would choose him again a million times over based on his personality, but I must say it was also a bonus that he has connections with LA County Court and was able to help expedite our marriage license since we came from Arizona and didn't have time to stop by the courthouse before wedding festivities. I'd give 10 stars if I could and if I ever have another big event he'll definitely be on our guest list no longer as an officiant, but as a good friend.

Amazing, funny, personable
Absolutely recommend 10/10! Our elopement was perfect at a museum and we couldn’t have asked for a better officiant. At first I was little worried about a stranger marrying us but after email exchanges, it didn’t feel like we were strangers anymore. Thank you so much for marrying us, it’s almost a year and we are still so happy with everything. Our vows were even printed out for us as keepsakes.
Anyone looking for an officiant who can easily help you relax, help you figure out your ceremony when you’ve no idea where to even start and help you enjoy your day and be professional, he’s a great choice!!

Our ceremony was the BEST EVER. He customized it into a Hawaiian ceremony for us and it was so unique, fun, interesting for our guests, and captured our love and joy for each other perfectly. I can't believe how many guests mention our CEREMONY as their favorite part of our entire wedding celebration. When does that ever happen? Simple elopment
Mauricio is a very friendly and upbeat person. We were beyond satisfied with the services. About 7 months of wedding planning on and off, stress, and about a dozen meltdowns we decided to postpone our wedding reception and eloped. We wanted simple and stress free. Mauricio wrote a great ceremony for us. He also typed and printed out the whole ceremony, including our vows, for us to keep.

What can we say about Mauricio! Absolutely loved his personality and how he’s himself from the moment we met him. You can listen to him all day long
Stop looking and just hire A.Mauricio Lubong. What a pleasure to work with and his tone and professionalism speaks volume. I married into a Filipino family and wanted to hire someone who was experienced in Filipino ceremony. I don't think it mattered, I would have hired him if I was marrying a dolphin. Such a wonderful man and a great speaker! His voice is so sweet I developed cavity just listening to him. Mauricio if you are reading this, god bless you and good luck to you sir!
