MMD is ingenious!

MMD was fantastic to work with. They are ingenious! From our first meeting with them we were in love. They are such creative people and once we explained to them the vibes that we were going for they were on it. They are known for being grand and doing grand things and they did not disappoint. Whatever you want, they will get it done for you. For example, my husband and I wanted a circle arch for our wedding ceremony and they made one for us! It was like they spoke the same language as me. This was the most fun part of the entire wedding process for me and I have MMD to thank for that. Thank you MMD!

In a word, WOW!

In a word, WOW! Having worked with MMD Events for years, I knew their designs were second to none, but seeing everything come together on my wedding day was beyond even my expectations!!! For Amanda and her team, no detail was too small. From the gorgeous gray draping throughout, custom neon signs, spectacular DJ booth and backdrop, to the unique chargers, flatware, and array of linens and plush materials, it was mesmerizing! The floral artistry used from ceremony through reception was gorgeous too, the climbing greenery and floral door frame to a variety of tabletop centerpieces- every element perfectly complemented the next. They knew what I loved and even pushed me a bit out of my comfort zone to create an unforgettable event. I trusted their expertise and they gave me the wedding of my dreams- thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This company is the absolute best in the industry! We use them at work for many of our corporate galas and events and they did an AMAZING job with my wedding! Amanda, Matt and their staff could not be more professional or more creative - there are no words! The lighting for our outdoor wedding was perfect, the tables, chairs, linens and overall rentals were incredibly creative. Our ceremony and flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS and to top it all off - we had the coolest doughnut wall in history! MMD took our vision and make it an amazing reality. Our guests raved above every little detail of our wedding and it was thanks to MMD without a doubt. Highly - Highly - Highly recommended!

Wow, MMD events completely blew me away with everything they did for my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. The girls are so chill and down to earth and right from the start of meeting them I knew we were a match made and they were going to make my vision come true. For my rehearsal dinner we went with a Palm Springs type vibe and all the decor went along to match that. They brought in greenery to fill the empty spaces in the room, put up draping, made back drops for every food station we had, had linens to match the theme and even brought pillows to add even more detail to the decor. It came out so beautiful and that was just the rehearsal. For the ceremony, they made me a custom 8 foot wall for the back drop of where we stood and had it designed to look like a rose quartz wall. There is a fountain at the venue we chose and they draped florals and greenery around the whole thing and had floating roses in the water to add the perfect touch. They provided all of our chairs as well because I didn't want to use the traditional ones that the venue was providing. The reception was out of a dream. It was so beautiful and I couldn't believe how much work MMD put into making my vision come true. They had linens sent in from numerous locations because of how specific I wanted them, the florals on the tables were absolutely stunning, there was a variety of center pieces and lets talk about the white dance floor that they made for me with our monogram on it!! So amazing! Throughout the whole planning process they gave me tons of ideas with everything specifically priced out so I knew exactly what everything would cost and it never caught me off guard. My wedding planner and I met numerous times with MMD to go over all the details and the coolest part was when I went to their warehouse to do a mock decor walk through to make sure I liked it all. MMD made everything look like a fairytale wedding and I cant thank them enough!

Amanda Allen & her amazing team are my knights-in-shining-armor. There is simply no other way to put it! I had an aesthetic that I knew I wanted to achieve with my wedding, but I truly had no clue where to start and how to execute my vision. Amanda has the most incredible eye for detail, and a creatively-driven mind that allows her to take what you imagine (no matter how abstractly you describe it!) and make it a reality. Her style is very modern, very chic, very interesting and very unlike the cookie-cutter wedding aesthetic that is so incredibly overdone. Not only did Amanda understand and execute my vision, but she has a sense of empathy and responsiveness that I think is very rare for this industry. When the forecast for my outdoor wedding started to turn south, Amanda was the first person I called to discuss my concerns. She dropped what she was doing to stay on the phone with me for an hour to discuss tent ideas that would maintain our vision and assured me that the wedding would still be beautiful, no matter what. As it turns out, the weather did indeed prove uncooperative, and Amanda's team pulled off a total venue transformation that not only made my wedding possible but made our tent absolutely stunning and memorable. My wedding would not have happened without Amanda--she is a lifesaver, a visionary, and the most amazing professional in the events design business in the area.

I wish I could give 10 stars in each category. Amanda, Amy and their team far exceeded our expectations. Every design was perfect, every table setting was perfect and the flowers were amazing. When you walked into the venue... mouths dropped it was so beautiful. They were great to work with and always made me feel like I had no worries... and I did not...

My daughter and I can’t express enough how awesome MMD Events was to work with from beginning to end. They were able to bring my daughter's vision to light, from the decor to florals. We knew it would be beautiful, but truly exceeded our expectations. Everyone was talking about how beautiful it looked!! I had a vision from the very start. I knew the look I was going for, but I never imagined it would be so beautifully executed. MMD collaborated with myself and my wedding planner (NK Productions) to bring vibrant colors, modern shapes, and rich textures to light. Every guest I encountered raved about how beautiful everything was. From the ceremony to reception, our wedding was a show stopper.

Amanda and MMD staff exceeded my expectations on floral and decor for my wedding! Everyone was raving about how beautiful our centerpieces were. My initial insight combined with their recommendations made way for a beauitful floral and decor set. They are also very friendly and easy to work with.

It's difficult to put into words just how magical MMD made our event. They provided us with the flowers, chairs, linens and everything else decor. I had worked in wedding and events before and I have never worked with a company quite like them. I was blow away by their creativity and attention to detail. Amy and Amanda wanted to learn about my personality as well as my husbands to ensure that the wedding would represent us as a couple. They exceeded our expectations. They created a custom look for our ceremony backdrop. It was a green wall with cascading flowers. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The flowers and decor in the ballroom was breathtaking. Our guests are still talking about how they have never seen anything like it.

I was also lucky enough to have them create my bridal brunch. It was a "Kate Spade" theme with everything black, white, hot pink and gold. I had seen a photo shoot like this on Pinterest and they blew them away! Again, their attention to detail is what sets them apart.

Amanda and Amy (and team) went above and beyond. I can't thank them enough for creating the perfect day! I would highly recommend MMD Events!

Amanda and Elise at MMD truly made my wedding vision come to life. I started working with Amanda about 14 months before our wedding. After bonding over my secret wedding Pinterest board, she immediately understood what I wanted for my wedding day. Amanda and Elise were easy to work with, always responded quickly to my emails (there were a lot) and the result was amazing. I am not usually one to cry but I couldn't hold the tears back when I first saw the tent and decor before the wedding. I would recommend MMD to everyone I know. Working with them was truly an amazing experience.

Amanda and the MMD team did an amazing job on all the décor for our wedding (lighting, flowers, ceremony arch, linens, chairs, centerpieces and furniture). We had an idea of some of the basic things we wanted for décor but we did not have an overall vision. Amanda did an amazing job incorporating what we wanted and tying everything together. We were so impressed by the teams creativity and all the options we were given.
I would highly recommend Amanda and the team at MMD!!

My wedding was in boca grande at the gasparilla inn beach club. I live in tampa so had many options for vendors. Mmd events made my wedding day everything I have always dreamed of. They took what I envisioned and we had talked about and turned it into reality. When I walked in to the reception and cocktail hour it was a truely magical moment. The flowers, draping, centerpieces and lighting were perfection even down to the smallest details like welcome signs and placement. Amanda and her staff were beyond helpful, had great ideas, and were always easy to get in touch with. I wouldn't have changed a single thing and would highly recommend using them for everything you can. All of my family and friends are still talking about the flowers and room. It was perfection!

There really aren't enough words to express how ecstatic we are that we chose MMD Events to handle all of our decor, flowers, lighting, organizing, etc. etc. etc. They truly are the best in the business! Amanda has this uncanny ability to get inside a brides head and put to life what she is imaging. For me, it was even more than I could have ever dreamed of! I would mention something or say "oh wouldn't this be cool if we..." and Amanda would make it happen! She's like a Fairy God Mother or a magician!
The entire staff of MMD are wonderful! They are extremely professional, and make you feel like part of the family the second you walk through their doors. It is apparent that they all love what they do. I never worried for one second that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception wouldn't be set up on time and look amazing. I knew I had the best team putting it all together and that helped me to relax on my wedding day and just get ready with my mom and bridesmaids with ease.
As a little girl you dream about your wedding day and how beautiful everything will look. This truly was way BEYOND my wildest dreams! I truly felt like I was part of a fairy tale all day and know it's because MMD created that fairy tale for me.

MMD was AMAZING to work with!! From the minute I met with Amanda during my initial consultation, I felt like she truly understood the overall concept I wanted for my wedding. She and Elise helped my ideas come to life! I cried when I walked in to the room for the "first look." Everything was unbelievably gorgeous and beyond elegant. MMD made sure every single little detail was spot on from the verandah to the reception room. I honestly can say that this was the most beautiful wedding reception I have ever seen. I knew when I started planning my wedding that I wanted lounge furniture and additional decor; so when I went to visit MMD I was excited they had EXACTLY what I was looking for. They were flexible and super easy to work with. I basically contracted what I wanted and they delivered on time and with ease. The inventory is expansive and unique. Would definitely recommend them!

MMD did a phenomenal job in helping us design the layout of our wedding. They were able to take our incoherent ideas and turn them into reality. Our stream of consciousness of ideas collected from pinterest was made real and coherent through their guidance. The day of the wedding, we couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked. The flowers were of high quality, our tent set up looked amazing. They even designed a specific arch for us because we couldn't decide on what we wanted. They simply created it by assessing our personalities and wants from the ideas we had discussed earlier. MMD was very professional and really helped tie our wedding all together.

They were flexible with the many changes, including some last minute changes, which is so important when it comes to weddings! They took the time to look through my Pinterest pages to understand the exact vibe I was going for. The flowers and decor turned out perfect and exactly as I pictured it. I would definitely recommend them. They are pricey but they will also work with you to get the price range you are looking for and in my opinion, the results are worth it. I will adore the photos forever!

So I am a worrier. I worry about everything. It's just a personal problem lol but let me tell you... You do not have one thing to worry about with MMD. I have never met wedding professionals (or any professional for that matter) who knows what they're doing like these folks. I hired MMD to help with a 500 person fashion show that I dreamed up 12 weeks ago. I had big dreams and big ideas for it and they literally flew past those within the first 5 minutes of set up. We had one meeting and just a few emails and the day of the event (which required using an awful backup space due to rain), the decor and lighting was better than I thought possible. They set up fashion show lighting and decor that was the best I have ever seen. Better than most NYC shows I have been to. They answered emails promptly, answered all my questions, helped me with things that they were not required to help with the day of, and kept my high stress personality under wraps the entire event. It would not have been the same without them. Don't look for anyone else. Just hire Amanda and Matt. Then your day will be perfect. Thanks so much you guys. I owe you. You're too fabulous.

I LOVE MMD Events! I am so happy I used them to help do all the decor for my wedding. Amanda and her team were so fun to work with!

Everything they did for me was absolutely amazing! They duplicated exactly what I wanted. My flowers were exactly as I wanted them but turned out better!

The decor was so fun and different! I had had this vision in my head of what I wanted my wedding to look like and they really made it come true.

I felt there was nothing I could could them that they couldn't put together. Amanda also came up with some really awesome stuff for my wedding! Things that wouldn't have even known you could do.

I can't wait to plan another event and have then do it. <3

I love you guys and I seriously miss our meetings! That was one of my favorite parts about planning my wedding!!

Where do I begin?! Working with MMD was a phenomenal experience. I had all of these visions and ideas in my head but could never find pictures or samples of exactly what I wanted... Somehow they knew exactly what I wanted and nailed it! Everything was stunning. Amy and Amanda were so great to work with- my mom and I really looked forward to our meetings with them. They were so helpful and had great advice for me throughout the planning process. They were very understanding and conscientious of my budget and managed to make everything look like I had an unlimited budget! The quality of their work was truly amazing. We felt so at ease entrusting them with all of our flowers and decor for the entire wedding. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

We used MMD Events for our linens, lighting, chairs, furniture, and floral (I think that's it). Everything was absolutely AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL and Amanda is so much fun to work with. At times I would think she was more excited than I was LOL. I told her my vision and she made it come to life effortlessly. My flowers were so gorgeous and everyone complemented them. I even got my bouquet freeze dried so I can look at them forever! The lighting in our tent was so magical and the linens were amazing! We also had two ottomans with a to die for coffee table! Everything was beautiful! Their warehouse is huge and has everything you could ever want.

MMD saved my day!! The reception was to be outside and the day before we had to put a tent up and was heart broken that I would be under an ugly tent!!! Amanda and Matt came up with amazing ways to decorate the tent and it turned out absolutely GORGEOUS!!! It was exactly what I wanted and had so many compliments about the decor and furniture. Love Love Love MMD Events!!

I used MMD for my Wedding on November 9th. Amanda is so talented and creative I love her style. My sister had used MMD for her wedding back in 2010 and there was no question that I would have them do the lighting and decor at my wedding. When I first when in to speak with Amanda she took the time to listen to my ideas ( which weren't many) but she knew exactly what I wanted and helped me out BIG time with creating the vision and look for the wedding. I used a beautiful mantle that MMD had to get married in front of, I fell in love with it as soon as Amanda had shown it to me. MMD also draped the ceremony space and used beautiful amber lighting to give the ceremony a warm feeling. They also created a gorgeous structure for my cake table, and provided me with beautiful linens for the tables as well.
I could go on and on about how much I love all the work they did for my wedding. I would def recommend MDD to anyone!!

Working with MMD for flowers and decor was amazing! Amanda truly saved the day when it came to our wedding flowers. Amanda really took my vision and turned it into the most beautiful reality. She also managed to do this while paying close attention to our budget - helping us figure out the best way to spend our money for the most impact. Working with Amanda and her team was fun from the start. MMD Events did the linens, flowers and ceremony and reception decor for our wedding. They did a great job at taking our vision and recreating it for our wedding. The flowers were gorgeous - the bridesmaid bouquets were huge! The ceremony ribbon arch made our ceremony which was on the beach seem more intimate and brought our color scheme out to open area. I really enjoyed meeting with them at their office to look at the different ideas that they could do. They were very helpful and responsive and everything turned out exactly as we had expected!

MMD was the BEST decision I could have ever made for myself! I was planning a destination wedding in Florida, did a ton of research on the area and found MMD. From the minute I spoke to Jackie and Amanda I knew I was in great hands! They are EXTREMELY creative, well organized, respond quickly and SO easy to work with. There were so many times I emailed or called them with a new "issue" or freaking out about something and they were there to listen to me, calm me down and come up with so many different ways to make my event beautiful. With an outdoor wedding, you never know what can happen with the weather. We FINALLY were able to make a call the night before at midnight! That can rattle a lot of people, especially vendors making deliveries and setting up a TON of beautiful furniture and flowers; however, Amanda and Jackie made it look SO EASY and even if they were stressed out about it, I NEVER EVER KNEW! WOW!! MMD provided furniture and supplemental decor for our Reception. They created a sophisticated and elegant lounge area adjacent to our dance floor. Our reception was held outdoors in the courtyard of the Ringling Museum, the design they used fit perfectly with the architecutal features.

We booked MMD just a few months prior to our wedding and they did a remarkable job. MMD was SO, SO, easy to work with and answered our e-mails promptly (usually within minutes). MMD has a team of very motivated members who made us feel us feel we were their only wedding. They went above and beyond for our design. They had speciality glass cut for some of our pieces and went to thrift stores to find unique elements for our day.

Additionally MMD was very flexible with last minute changes. We received so many compliments on our decor and owe MMD a huge Thank You!

Super Amazing, is what this team is. From the moment I met the Jackie and Amanda at MMD, I felt I'd found the perfect fit. They truly exceeded our expectations on all levels. They're super creative and designed a wedding that fit our personalities to a T, making our dream a reality. I don't know how many people said the entire wedding was "so you two" and that is a compliment to MMD Events, as well.

They turned the Tampa Firefighter's Museum into our Vintage Chic dream wedding, bringing in some of their own vintage furniture and decor. The lighting was amazing, too! Matt and his team set the tone in each room with gorgeous lighting, starting with our romantic tree branch alter that they made just for us!

From the flower arrangements to the sweetheart linen... It's MMD all the way!

I couldn't recommend MMD events more. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. Above all, they're design execution was flawless. We had a hard time imagining how using a respected team like MMD would make our event look different than going with a simple florist. It really did. Although they're a bit more pricey, it was well worth the extra money. The flowers they use are far more gorgeous and interesting than what you see at other wedding and their attention to every single detail of ambience was perfect. On paper, I thought their ideas were good, but in person, I can't explain how beautiful it was, and how it felt like "us."

Some specifics:

Our ceremony and reception was outside and after sunset (at Ringling). We talked about uplighting us and the trees surrounding us. I never would have imagined how crazy cool the ceremony actually looked in person - serene. They lit up everything outside at the reception subtly romantic. And, they helped us put together table numbers that were pics of our cats (I guess that makes us crazy cat people) -- hilarious but yet tasteful...nice touch...and they encouraged us to run with it.

The team was incredibly responsive to our phone calls and emails and was very accommodating.

If you just trust their judgment and their expertise, you're in good hands...you'll be happy.

MMD has a huge selection of furniture/décor items to spice up any event!! We had such a great time going through their warehouse. They are very pleasant to work with and are full of great ideas. We ended up renting gorgeous vintage furniture for two lounge areas at our reception. Everything was in great condition and looked beautiful!

We had a large combined birthday party celebrating the milestone birthdays of a several friends ranging in age from 20 - 70. Our party theme was "A Party For The Ages". Jackie and the staff at MMD Events did an awesome job putting together beautiful centerpieces for the tables. They used elements of pop culture from each decade (60's, 70's, 80's, etc) and incorporated them into the floral centerpieces. They were awesome and our guests loved them! Thanks for a job well done!

MMD was fabulous. Amanda and Jackie were such a pleasure to work with. From the minute we met with them at their warehouse I insisted I didn't want a typical ballroom wedding and they had such great suggestions and made our beach wedding exactly what we wanted. We were married on the beach at the Don Cesar and our ceremony flag altar was by far my favorite part of our decor, which incorporated the Canadian flag for the groom. We wanted to keep the casual beach party theme throughout our cocktail hour and reception, and with the flowers, linens, chairs, and decor, MMD achieved exactly what we wanted. I would recommend MMD to any couple who wants to maintain their individuality and make their wedding their own, MMD will definitely help you bring your ideas to life. I was a bride who wasn't super excited about having a full blown wedding, but because of how everything turned out and how great MMD and the rest of our vendors were I wish we could do it all again.

My husband and I are so grateful for MMD events and the amazing staff they have. We had almost a two year engagement so there was lots of time for me to form the details in my head of what I wanted. I never would have believed that these "ideas" would have been able to become such an attention to detail event. Amanda and her team took both me and my husbands personalities and made it into something we couldn't have been able to create on our own. From the furniture and the lighting, to the chandeliers and flowers, they perfected my vision and built our dream wedding!
Amanda has a talent of taking an idea and enhancing it to perfection; adding small details to really personalize it and making it a million times better than I had planned. Her and her team have been doing this a long time so they will give you the advice that you need in order to make the right decisions for your big day. They will be 100% honest and give feedback on what they believe will and will not work. Not to mention they are SO fun and easy going to work with. You can tell they truly love what they do.
I would say every day for the rest of my life, our wedding wouldn't have been anywhere near as wonderful as it was without Amanda and her team. I am now an MMD event groupie who owes my magical day to the MMD event staff :)

Amanda did such an amzaing jobs on our flowers for our wedding. Jackie was so accomodating to assisting with me living out of state. We scheduled skype sessions and Jackie was always quick to respond to my emails. I spent a lot of time researching flowers and sending pictures and MMD created more beautiful bouquets than I had even imagined. I still receive compliments on our centerpieces. Not only did MMD provide the flowers for my wedding, but they also provided the cantina lighting for my reception, votives, linens, carpeted aisle and flowers for the cake. They created the perfect magical and romatic theme! It is so nice to be able to work with one company that is able to provide so many services, and I highly recommend MMD to anyone is hosting an event!

Amanda Allen and everyone at MMD Events is for lack of a better word AMAZING! They become part of your family while the take all the stress out of the details in making your day all that you could have imagined! Just a month into planning my wedding that was supposed to be over a year away I had a break down and called Amanda. My husband and I decided we didn't want a "normal" wedding, we wanted something intimate that reflected who we are as a couple. Amanda was quick to offer a unique venue suggestion...the cutest french-vintage bakery in Hyde Park and I fell in love instantly. With Amanda's touch, inspiration, and a little glitter the bakery was heaven! I cannot thank Amanda and her team enough! There is no one else like them and I wouldn't recommend anyone else for flowers or decor!

MMD provided the flowers, linens, benches, huppah and lighting for my wedding (although they have much more to offer!). They were wonderful! With our reception taking place at a private beach home, the space was not like that of a traditional ballroom. It was a unique space consisting of different levels and perimeters. MMD was extremely creative and figured out an amazing way to layout the event and decorate the space so that it all tied together perfectly! I could not have been more pleased - the event flowed perfectly and guests took advantage of all the space had to offer. The flowers were beautiful and complemented the linens nicely. The benches were a nice lounge-type addition to the event, and the cantina lightning tied it all together! They brought my vision to life, and they were amazing to work with throughout the planning process! Thanks to Amanda, Jackie and the rest of the team at MMD! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning an event!

We worked with MMD to supply furniture and décor for our wedding this May at the Vinoy and I cannot say enough great things about them! We did not want a sit down dinner and wanted the party to be reception style with alternative seating and food stations. We looked at several local companies that offer furniture rental and it was hard for us to find anything other than just the standard white lounge furniture. When we found MMD they had a MUCH larger selection and had really unique options that fit our taste. They gave us great recommendations from their vintage furniture collection and also added décor. All of their vintage furniture is one of a kind so you get to mix and match to create really fun seating areas. I think one of the things I was most excited and anxious about that day was how the room would look and when my planner brought me in to show us the room it ABSOULTEY blew us away and exceeded all of my expectations- I was speechless when I walked in…the furniture was AMAZING and made the room feel so intimate and warm…we got compliments all night and people absolutely loved it! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fun and unique touch to their wedding!

MMD was by far the best vendor we used for our engagement party. They were extremely easy to work with and were able to take our conceptual ideas and turn them into reality.

If you want things done right without stress or worry, by all means use MMD. If you want creativity, out of the box decor, these are the folks to hire. If you like vintage, cool modern, or any combination of the above, MMD is for you. If you like flowers that are amazingly creative and fresh, see this firm. If you want a look that is not cookie cutter, something you see in every other wedding, you would love these people! I cannot recommend them any higher than a "5", but I would if I could. Very fair pricing, professional in every possible way, and made the wedding perfect.

We were blown away from the beginning with MMD Events! They are creative geniuses! Everyone was so helpful from start to finish and especially just weeks before the wedding with last minute requests for name cards and table seating chart! They really made our reception our own special event. Having been to weddings before where we had our reception, I was excited with the fresh ideas they presented us. Loved the furniture we rented for our lounge that set the "stage" (literally) for our reception. It was absolutely beautiful. The up- lighting was also perfect and really set the mood for our room and the tone for our reception.The custom lighting design was also amazing and really blew us and our guests away. When my husband and I walked in to the ballroom for the first time, our mouths dropped to the floor! Thank you MMD!

Amanda, Matt and Jackie ARE FABULOUS!
I live in NYC so I was extremely worried about having a wedding in Tampa. After my first meeting with MMD- I WAS IN LOVE!
I'm not gonna lie, they were the 3rd people that my sister and I met with. My vision was Princess Jasmine (Aladdin) meets vintage spanish style, Jackie and Amanda were the only ones that totally understood my vision without making it cheesy (& they were so excited about it!).
The ideas that they introduced to me made my eyes sparkle! They even let me sister and I tour their warehouse... AMAZING! There is NOTHING that Matt cannot accomplish....

MMD Events was chosen as they are more than just a floral company...what they provide their customers is decor, florals, lighting, furniture, and so much more! Just visiting their warehouse in Tampa will spark so many unique ideas for your space. Amanda, Matt, Jackie, Fondren and their entire team really bring your dreams to a reality. Many brides have no clue what they're going to walk into their reception to see. What I saw was everything I wanted and more. The look I was going for was very earthy, green and vintage - they took my ideas and created exactly what I imagined.

If we could sum up MMD in one word, it would be “wow.” Amanda and Matt Allen of MMD Events truly blew us away and surpassed all of our expectations. Amanda and Matt are passionate about what they do and it shows through their enthusiasm, their creativity, and their attention to detail. They took my thoughts, dreams, and inspiration boards to a whole new level, coming up with a proposal that not only was within in my budget, but ideas that also made my wedding stand out and represent our personalities. MMD made our wedding day fabulous, and a lasting memorable moment. I truly believe that their final touches are what made my wedding the one I’ve always dreamed of.

We were introduced to MMD through our wedding planner, Jamie Billig of Confetti Events. After hiring Jamie, MMD was probably our next best decision in the planning process! We hired MMD for floral design, lighting, custom event décor, and lounge furniture rental.

Floral: Amanda truly has a gift for creating not only beautiful bouquets, but original masterpieces! Her flowers stand out and are more stunning than those you see in bridal magazines. Amanda embraced my bright color palette for the wedding and was more than willing to think outside the box of typical wedding flowers. I absolutely loved all of the colors, textures, and depth that went into the creation of my bridal bouquet, the bridesmaid bouquets, the boutonnieres, and the reception table centerpieces. Amanda put sincere thought into each type of flower that would be in each arrangement, and had great suggestions for tying flowers into the overall wedding’s cohesive theme, which was extremely helpful for someone like me who is not all that familiar with flowers. Upon her recommendation and vision, each bridesmaid carried a different type of flower in a different color scheme (pink tulips, purple lisianthus, yellow calla lilies, orange buffalo orchids, etc.), and then those flowers were incorporated into my bridal bouquet. Such a lovely touch and looks stunning in photographs. We had also a unique boutonniere for my groom so he stood out from the groomsmen. At our reception, MMD created two different types of centerpieces – low centerpieces with fabric wrapped vases and gerbera daisies, and high centerpieces with pink and orange buffalo orchids in tall cylinder vases. We regularly receive compliments on the flowers at our wedding not only for their bold, bright colors, but their creative design and their ability to make the colors of our wedding “pop.” The flower arrangements alone made me feel like my wedding was straight from a magazine! They truly made the wedding come together.

Lighting/Custom Event Décor: We were undecided at first if lighting was necessary for our wedding. Matt quickly changed our opinion! Once we saw the difference that lighting can make to a venue from photos and his quick demonstration, we were sold. Our museum venue was a large space with high ceilings. Using lighting, MMD created an intimate, cohesive atmosphere to what could have been a cold space. The lights were fun, colorful, and affordable.

My husband works in the creative field so it was important to both of us that our wedding reflect our personal style. Matt took the custom logo that my husband designed for our print materials and created a large, custom sign that hung over the reception bar. It was awesome! Many of our friends and family took pictures of the sign and commented on how the wedding day had so many of our personal touches. I believe that our wedding reflected our own personal style so accurately because of MMD, and the care that Amanda and Matt put into design details that reflect you and your signature style.

Lounge Furniture Rental: Amanda, our wedding planner Jamie, and my husband conspired to surprise me with lounge furniture on our wedding day. I had lusted for the gorgeous vintage line from afar! I was thrilled on our wedding day to see ornate white lounge sofa pair with two white arm back chairs and the rustic sea-foam green trunk. The pieces were from their new vintage line and are stunning. It was the perfect set up for the side of our dance floor and for us to sit during the MOH/Best Man speeches. The lounge space not only was functional, but photographed beautifully.

Amanda, Matt, and the rest of their team are not only knowledgeable and wonderfully creative, but they are flexible and easy to work with. As a bride planning a wedding from out of state, I found them to be extremely accommodating, very responsive to email and most of all, extremely attentive to my needs. For example, Amanda was happy to oblige my request for a bouquet for my bridal portrait, and even offered to set up a mock table setup when I was in town visiting on a holiday weekend. We were so pleased with their services that my mother-in-law hired MMD to create flower arrangements for our rehearsal dinner. As a tribute to my Southern heritage and in line with my mother-in-law’s vision of a romantic setting for the dinner, Amanda designed gorgeous hydrangea and pink rose centerpieces in mint julep containers. MMD went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect and we highly recommend their services.

Their quality of work was impecable from start to finish and my wedding guests have been saying that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen. MMD did an amazing job making my wedding vision a reality. The team used many different elements to bring my funky, unique wedding style to life in very elegant, modern way. They helped me incorporate my florida vibe into every aspect in an unexpected way that continaully wowed my guests. Everything from the flowers, to pipe and drape, lighting and furniture was beautiful and really made for a cohesive design. It was really great knowing that they were taking care of all of those elements. Working with MMD gave me complete comfort that the room and all of the details would be spectacular.

Amanda was great! She really understood my vision and the vintage look I wanted to go for. It was a wonderful balance between what I had requested and what she knew would work based on her knowledge and experience. The bouquets were amazing and unique and the ambience and centerpieces in the venue blew me away. I also really appreciated her flexibility and being super understanding when I wanted to switch things up..it really took a load off of me. She and her team impressed me the entire time from start to finish and I highly recommend them!

We LOVED working with MMD! They helped us organize and visualize our 1940's Italian/Old Hollywood theme. They were such sweet people with huge imaginations. I would recommend MMD events to anyone that wants not only a beautiful wedding, but also wants to work with a team of creative individuals that will create a fashion-forward and unique wedding decor. Amanda and Matt Allen and Lauren Grove are truly incredible designers, coordinators, and they come up with fresh ideas. Never once was my vision for my day strayed from. I had an incredibly gorgeous wedding thanks to Amanda, Matt and Lauren of MMD! Thank goodness I met Amanda at a wedding show! MMD was the first floral and decor company I met with that I felt really understood what I was looking for and brought fresh, new ideas to the table. Amanda and Matt are so creative and talented! My calls and emails were always answered I truly appreciated the amount of time MMD took to plan out all the details of my wedding.

Amanda Allen and her team were AMAZING. Booking this vendor was absolutley the smartest decision I made in regards to my wedding. She provided way more than just flowers, and basically decorated my entire ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception ballroom. MMD transformed an ordinary ballroom into something breathtaking and spectacular. My guests were taking pictures of centerpieces and the flowers, and could not stop talking about how great everything looked.
During the planning process, Amanda answered all my emails and phone calls immediately and was so unbelieveably attentive to all my needs. She was awesome, and I feel sorry for any bride that does not have the opportunity to work her and the MMD team. You will not be sorry. Do not do the traditional boring florist, choose MMD, and allow them to give your wedding that special edge that you are looking for. Thanks MMD!!

Amanda with MMD events was wonderful to work with. She truly was an asset with making my wedding a success. She had great ideas and input into the decorations, colors, and the look and feel of my wedding.

I cannot say enough how beautiful my center pieces were...she did a fantastic job with all of my decorations. Each element that she managed exceeded my expectations and looked absolutely amazing.

Additionally, she was honest and completely upfront with costs; there were no hidden fees. When I provided her with my budget she did not blink even though it was not large. She took my budget and made sure every dollar counted, and made sure it was beautiful.

Amanda and Matt with MMD events were honest, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure it was an amazing event for me. I could not have found more wonderful and professional people to trust with my special day.

After spending months doing all the planning ourselves, we hired MMD Events to help us with "Day of" service which included several in-person meetings, many emails and phone calls in the weeks before the wedding. Amanda guided us through all the final arrangements, last minute changes and made sure all was in order. She brought our attention to some important items that had been overlooked by the venue, made fantastic suggestions we had not considered but were able to work into the plan, made a timeline of events that she sent to all in the wedding party, and she and her staff were with us all day the day of the wedding guiding us and keeping us on time. And best of all, she picked up all our wedding decorations and favors at our house, set them up at the reception and then cleaned up and delivered everything back to our home after the wedding. If not for her and her staff we would not have had such a smooth and enjoyable day. MMD Events was not only HIGHLY professional but also personable and friendly. If we were able to give a rating higher than 5, MMD Events would deserve it! Amanda and Matt were great to work with and were so accommodating. Even though we had a limited budget, they were willing to work and re-work everything so that they stayed within our budget and yet the final result was so high-end and absolutely gorgeous that it looked like we had spent many times over our budget. They are so imaginative and think outside the box and all of the floral designs were exquisite while keeping with the theme of our wedding. They decorated the church, the reception, and all the wedding party flowersWe also had MMD provide our lighting and lounge seating which were both incredible! We recommend MMD Events, and Amanda and Matt, for any wedding event or other event.

We are so thankful to have found MMD Events for our wedding design and coordination. My husband and I are both artists and had a pretty clear vision of what kind of wedding we wanted but we needed someone to help make that vision come to life as well as coordinate the day of events.

Amanda and Matt were wonderful at finding things that we could create ourselves to give our wedding our own creative touch. Amanda was a great help in communicating our needs to vendors, was easy-going and organized and really calmed down the wedding storm. She was absolutely amazing with styling, even within our modest budget, and knew which top of the line products and styles we would like and could utilize for a high-end feel. Our wedding and reception were absolutely beautiful.

Matt can build anything which can make everyday places into gorgeous wedding sites. He is optimistic and a pleasure to be around. As a couple the two are wonderful to work with, especially in wedding planning since their love is so clear, both for each other and what they do for the couples event! We are very grateful and pleased to have worked with MMD Events and had so much fun that were planning to do it all again in fifteen years!

MMD Events was my wedding planner for my May 3rd, 2009 wedding and I really cannot say enough good things about the job they did. I started working with them over a year before my wedding and they also planned and decorated my engagement party. I knew after the amazing job they did on my engagement party that my wedding would truly be one of a kind, but I couldn't have even dreamed of how amazing it came out to be! From the decor to every last detail, MMD Events pored their heart and soul into my wedding as if it was their own. Amanda made sure that no detail was left undone no matter how small, which is one of the reasons they truly stand out from other wedding planners. Every bride says they want their wedding to be unique and different than every other wedding, but thanks to Amanda and Matt, it really was!! Amanda and Matt took the time to really get to know me and my husband and what we like which made all the difference. I love desserts and Amanda came up with the idea to hire Coldstone which I have never seen before at a wedding, and it was the hit of the night! I have received an overwhelming amount of compliments about the decor, but most of all the details. Amanda and Matt were fabulous. They coordinated our ideas and made them all come to reality. They did specialty linen, favors ideas, place cards, escort cards, decor, cocktail hour decoration, center pieces, and ceremony decorations. The challenge of this event was to bring the fall season to a beach venue. My wife and I are from Boston, MA and met in the fall. We wanted a wedding that brought together the spirit of the fall ( apples, pumpkins, cinnamon, warmth, fall colors, leaves, etc.) to our sand key beach location. The experience with MMD was beyond expectations. They coordinated the entire event and left my wife and I carefree to enjoy our wedding day. Amanda and Matt helped us stay on track with details so our day would be perfect. They were full of ideas and imagination and truly converted our event to our dreams: A fall in Love wedding on a beach. We had the best of both worlds: the beach and a warm northern-like fall. I loved, loved, loved working with MMD. They are amazing and very easy to work with. I would and have recommended them to everyone I know who is getting married. I gave them a 4.5 on value because it seemed like the flowers were a little more expensive than other companies we looked at, on the flip side draping and decor was a LOT less expensive than everyone else. I was so lucky to have found out about MMD while I was planning my wedding at the Palmetto Club. They not only met every expectation and concern I had, they exceeded them immeasurably!! Amanda and Matt were so much fun to work with and their professionalism stood out among other wedding vendors I had workeed with. They made special arrangements for me and even worked extra to exchange items that I had changed my mind about.

Lauren, our wedding planner, worked with me endlessly to get every detail perfect for the day of our wedding. She handled everything the day of and took care of coordinating all the vendors, the guests, the bridal party and setting up all my created decor and favors. Till the end of the night, Lauren was there--by my side--coordinating everything!

Before the ceremony, my fiance and I were offered the opportunity to see the final product of the ceremony set-up and the reception hall. It blew my mind and was beyond what I could have imagined! It was absolutely amazing!!!! Hiring them was the best decision I made and I would recommend their services to anyone who asked!!!!

I only used MMD for lighting, chairs and linen and I was very happy with the way the room turned out. In my case, they basically executed my vision but they did professionally and exactly the way I wanted. They made a mistake on my invoice and luckily I caught it but it was corrected immediately. I would recommend this vendor for their responsiveness and value.
