  Thank you for capturing our day so perfectly!

  We absolutely loved having Makaila as our wedding photographer! She is incredibly talented and we couldn’t recommend her more.
  
  Her gorgeous photos and dreamy editing truly speak for themselves, but what really sets Makaila apart is her remarkable eye for capturing the raw emotions and authentic moments of a wedding day - the little moments between us when we weren’t posing, candid shots during our ceremony, our family and friends’ reactions, creative shots capturing the decor and venue. She did such an amazing job capturing not only the look, but the feel of the gorgeous natural setting (from the jagged backlit mountain peaks down to us hiking in the dirt with our fancy shoes). She really has an eye for creative compositions and shots that feel genuine, fresh, and full of life. She was great at giving us natural and romantic posing directions and yet also had an uncanny ability to catch the best candids of us, family, and friends.
  
  She was such a pleasure to work with and has a friendly, composed, and upbeat vibe! We’re so grateful we get to relive our wedding day through Makaila’s photography. Thank you again so much again for capturing our day so perfectly!

  Makaila is absolutely amazing, I fully recommend! Given that this is someone who will be with you throughout your wedding day, vibes are important, and Makaila was absolutely wonderful and made us feel extremely comfortable and natural.   From start to finish, our experience with Makaila was truly exceptional! Right from the beginning, her help and support made us feel at ease and in good hands - asking helpful questions, collaborating with us on options, and promptly addressing all of our questions.
  
  The photos and video she captured on our wedding day were incredible, far and away exceeding our expectations. We’ve had so much fun looking back at them, putting together photo books for our families, and watching the incredibly cool video she created using an old film video camera. She perfectly captured all of the magic and moments of our wedding day.
  
  If you want someone who is thoughtful, talented, easy to work with, and generally fun to be around, look no further!

  October wedding

  I can't recommend Makaila enough! Not only did she take incredible photos, she also worked with us before our wedding to make sure we'd get the shots we wanted and executed everything flawlessly on the day! Look no further, you've found your photographer in Makaila... you can thank me later!

  Makaila is awesome!!

  Makaila is an absolute star photographer! She was very communicative, very easy to work with, so much fun, and took amazing photos. We were so nervous, but after meeting Makaila for the first time it felt like we had found the perfect photographer. She asked all the rig questions to help us understand how everything would go and really had a sincere connection. Her work is unparalleled and we are so lucky to have worked with her. Her photos were exactly as we had pictured - the use of detail, action shots, sensual shots, thoughtful shots, and editing were very much on point. I can’t say enough how awesome she is as a human and her work will leave you breathless.

  Very easy to work with. Makaila is very skilled, and everyone at the wedding felt very comfortable and efficient in taking wedding photos. Makaila is very organized and directed people well during photo taking. Makaila has a very creative, artistic eye and capture the details of our wedding day so beautifully!
