Best Wedding DJ!!

Mixology is the best wedding DJ around!! They kept the party going from start to end and the photo booth was a hit!! They were so easy to work with and did an amazing job blending our music taste with songs they recommended for our group’s vibe. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to our sparkler exit after the reception, all of the music was perfect. I had some specific timing requests that they incorporated perfectly, and they even worked with me to include a voice recording from my grandparents who weren’t able to make it to the wedding. They were professional, punctual, and so fun to work with. If you’re on the fence about booking a DJ, look no further. We 100% recommend Mixology!!!

Perfect DJ

DJ Shawn was our DJ for our wedding this past Saturday, and every single detail was perfect! From the pre-ceremony, to the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception entrances to the reception, every part was exactly what we had hoped for. The vibes were immaculate and the dance floor was absolutely packed the entire reception! DJ Shawn worked with us before the wedding to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and made our dream wedding come true. The sound quality was amazing and every part of his performance was professional and wildly entertaining. Also the uplighting looked incredible and really took the party to a new level. I can’t recommend DJ Shawn and Mixology enough if you want your wedding or event to be a party people will talk about and remember well after it’s over!

Mikey was great

Highlight of our wedding!

Mixology was wonderful to work with. We booked them well ahead of time and the rates were very reasonable. We had a biligual (English/Spanish) wedding and had what we viewed as a odd musical mix. DJ Angel though came in and not only played all the music we wanted, but arranged it in a way the entire group was out on the dance floor at least a portion of the night. With the diverse group of people we had that was saying something. Can't recommend them enough, we had so many compliments on the DJ, and the dancing/music was probably the highlight of the wedding reception for our guests!

B e s t d j!

Roman was the best DJ we could have asked for! We wanted a DJ who would mix the songs so that everyone stayed on the dance floor and he definitely delivered on that! Speaking of dance floor the brown and white checkered dance floor was the perfect addition to our day, EVERYONE raved about it and it just added extra class to our wedding aesthetic! It was super easy to make sure our DJ was prepared with all of our song requests and wedding timeline using the app that he provides! I really think I saw everyone on the dance floor the whole night, it was the perfect day! We are so thankful that we chose mixology and Roman to be our wedding DJ!

Roman is the best

Roman was insanely good. I was very picky about who was going to DJ my wedding as I wanted someone who could feel the dance floor and mix the music, did that to a tee. Wouldn’t go with anyone else for an event ever again. Will always be Roman.

Awesome DJ

DJ Eric was the best! He made sure he had every little detail right before my wedding! He was super sweet and everything went so smoothly! Would definitely recommend using Mixology DJ Entertainment in the future!

Can't Recommend Enough

Could not recommend Mixology enough. Roman was so helpful throughout all of the planning and Eric (DJ Midas) was an incredible DJ. The vibes were immaculate and everyone had such a wonderful time thanks to DJ Midas keeping the party going. We are so grateful to have been able to work with this team for our special day. Between fair pricing, consistent communication, and all-around outstanding service and support, we couldn’t have asked for better. We also had a photo booth at our reception through Mixology and it was a huge hit!!! Everyone loved it and Roman was great at working with us to make the template perfect for our big day. Highly, highly recommend working with Mixology for your wedding or any event!!!!

DJ Mikey 10/10

We couldn’t be happier with DJ Mikey! From start to finish, he was punctual, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. He worked seamlessly with our vendor team and coordinator so there was zero hassle on us, and everything flowed effortlessly throughout the day.

His attention to detail was outstanding—he had the perfect music to keep the dance floor alive from start to finish, and he knew exactly when to play the right songs at the right moments. As an MC, he was confident, clear, and fun, reading the room perfectly and keeping the entire night energized.

On top of all that, DJ Mikey was incredibly outgoing, personable, and genuinely invested in making our night unforgettable. We’ve had so many guests rave about how amazing he was—and we couldn’t agree more.

Highly recommend DJ Mikey to anyone looking for a DJ who truly knows how to elevate a celebration!

Best Choice

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Roman with Mixology when I was photographing a wedding at Chimney Pond Farm, and he was so great to work with, super easy going which I know helped alleviate any stress for the couple. You could tell he really cared about the couple’s music preferences and the choices kept everyone singing and having a great time on the dance floor! The energy was so fun that I even put my camera down and did the worm for everyone at one point. If you’re looking for a DJ who truly pays attention to what matters to you and creates a night that all of your people really enjoy and will never forget, Roman and Mixology are the best choice!

The Best Decision

Hiring Zack and Brigette from Mixology DJ Entertainment was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They absolutely love what they do, and it shows in every moment. Their energy, professionalism, and passion were unmatched. Zack was out in the crowd keeping the hype alive, and Brigette kept the night flowing perfectly!

We heard nonstop compliments from our guests all night long. Everyone kept saying how incredible our DJs were and how we absolutely got our money’s worth. If you want an unforgettable wedding reception, Zack and Brigette are the dream team. Highly, highly recommend!

10 More Songs!

“10 more songs, 10 more songs” the guest chanted because they didn’t want the night to end!

Seriously the most seamless process - between the accessible app to use to download your playlist, the quick communication, & everything beginning to end was top tier!!! One thing I didn’t have to stress about, I knew our music would be in good hands!

Mikey was a pleasure to work with, his expertise and experience was 10/10!! He kept the dance floor going with the best music EVER!

We had many professional athletes at our wedding that were LOVING the dance floor! It was fun seeing different sides of our guests, enjoying the dance floor, with all of the amazing music.

The sound system was also great!!! We got many compliments on how great everything sounded!

We also did the photobooth add on and that was perfection!! So many great memories were made and photos were shared! Thank you Mikey for making our night so special & for keeping the dance floor HYPE

All around amazing

We booked mixology over a year and half prior to our wedding, we had talked with several DJs before finding Roman. From the beginning, Roman made it easy and understood the vibe and party we wanted to have. Their Photobooth was a HIT. Everyone loved it. We had their cold sparklers and I was so excited that they offered them!!! Their client portal made it easy to put what we wanted to hear together in a list. We had every thing from 90s country, to rap and punk on our “must play”. Jeff was our DJ and he did not miss a beat (literally). My dance floor stayed full and everyone had an absolute BLAST. He was so easy to work with, even on our first call- I felt completely understood in what we wanted and he truly made it happen. If you’re looking for a DJ company that gets you and keeps any dance floor full for your wedding day, Mixology is it!!!

We had an incredible experience working with DJ Mikey! Communication was seamless leading up to the wedding, and he went above and beyond to make sure every detail matched our vision! He made the whole night flow perfectly - from the ceremony music to the last dance, everything was spot on. He read the crowd and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! Fantastic!

Hiring Roman as my DJ was easily the best wedding decision I could have made. We had an amazing day and we got so many compliments but EVERY SINGLE PERSON I spoke to told me how FANTASTIC my DJ was! Everyone danced all night, there were no awkward slow parts of the night, and every song that came on got me excited. The Photo Booth was a HUGE hit! We took almost 800 pictures and I LOVED looking through them all after the wedding. The cold sparks gave me my dream WWE feel for my reception entrance and everything combined made my night perfect!!!! Roman was so nice and accommodating, I thoroughly enjoyed my night that I planned for so long all thanks to Roman and Mixology!!!!! If you don’t book him, you’re dumb.

Absolutely Perfect

We had DJ Mikey for our wedding and let me tell you these guys are AMAZING. Not only did they help us with last minute changes but they kept the party bumping all night! Our guests still rave about how good the music was throughout the night. Lastly a big THANK YOU to them accommodating a last minute performance and blowing it out of the water! Not only did they bring the correct sound system but they sourced specialized equipment last minute! If you are looking for a DJ look no further than these guys and go with the full package, the photo booth, the lighting and CO2 cannon were HUGE hits with our family and friends!

Planning: (They have a great app which helps so much!)
We had an idea of what we wanted music wise and couldn't quite fill out the entire timeline, DJ Mikey read our minds basically and filled in the gaps beautifully!

Extras: (Up lighting, CO2 cannon, photobooth)
The extras will really set up the vibes and keep them high! definitely worth the small upcharge.

Best night thanks to Mixology!

We hired Mixology for our wedding and loved having Chase as our DJ! He did amazing and was very attentive to the energy during the reception. He was extremely professional and flexible with our needs throughout the day! We would highly recommend hiring mixology for dj/mc services!

Mixology is such a great DJ company to pick for your wedding!! Roman absolutely killed it at the wedding!! We had a small wedding but we always had people on the dance floor the entire night!! DJ Mikey!!!

DJ Mikey from Mixology DJ Entertainment was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We had a planning call and he was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely excited to help bring our vision to life. He took the time to really understand the vibe we wanted for the day and made sure every detail was locked in. We gave quite a few must-play songs but then gave him freedom to fill in the rest of the playlist. He matched the vibe perfectly and the entire playlist flowed so seamlessly.

The dance floor was packed the entire night. Every single guest — from our friends to our family — everyone was up and dancing, and the energy never dipped. He read the room perfectly, kept the momentum going, and made sure everyone was having the time of their lives.

I also really appreciated how flexible and easygoing he was, especially with a few last-minute changes I made on the day of. He rolled with everything so seamlessly and made it all feel effortless.

If you're looking for a DJ who knows how to throw an unforgettable party while still making it feel personal and perfectly tailored to you — DJ Mikey is your guy. I can’t recommend him and Mixology DJ Entertainment highly enough!

Book this company

Roman DJ'ed our party and did an excellent job. The planning was easy with his portal and app that allowed us to add music and preferences for each phase of the wedding. We felt confident that Roman would deliver what was promised and he did! The music was modern and fun and had the dance floor packed the ENTIRE dancing portion of the reception (2.5 hours). What more could you ask for? If you're looking for a modern club-style DJ to get the dance floor moving, Mixology is a rock solid choice.

Couldn't have been better

Amazing Experience

Roman DJed our wedding at The Casey in Charlotte, NC and did an incredible job! He kept the crowd on the dancefloor all night. Some of his mixes were truly unbelievable, he kept us all on our toes but still played all the big hits. The pre-ceremony and cocktail hour music was also perfect and accommodated all our requests/music taste. Our guests LOVED the photobooth (which came with props) and the lighting setup looked amazing, too!

One of my friends actually booked Roman for her wedding in October and we can't wait to party with him again soon!

Shawn Was Amazing!

Mixology provided my DJ services, photobooth and even accommodated a last minute add to add speakers and a mic for our ceremony when we realized we needed that as well at our wedding this past Sunday. Shawn went above and beyond and felt like part of the family! Highly recommend!!

We Love DJ Mikey

We got the opportunity to have DJ Mikey on site for a wedding at our venue, Brentwood Farms, just a few days ago, and WOW! Since the moment he arrived on site, early and promptly. He was full of energy and already so much fun! We clicked immediately, and I knew it would be a wonderful evening with him! His set up was beautiful, his sound was on point, and his playlist joined several cultures and backgrounds together with a full dance floor. We stayed in communication the whole night to ensure that the evening was as seamless as possible. If we could have DJ Mikey at venue every weekend, we would absolutely love that. I would recommend him to anyone getting married or planning an event, I promise he will bring the hype and fun energy, all the while, being a very professional wedding vendor.
We love us some DJ Mikey!!!!

We had our wedding on 5/10/25 in Magnolia, NC and DJ Angel was absolutely perfect. This was a bilingual wedding and everyone of our guests were so impressed with the way both English and Spanish were mixed so well. The process was very organized and professional for picking out our playlist and making sure it’s exactly how we want it. Thank you so much, Angel!

Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Roman DJ'd our March 2025 wedding and we cannot say enough wonderful things about him. I was my own wedding planner and he was so flexible and communicative as we made updates to timing and hours needed. We really wanted our reception to feel like a party and oh boy, did Roman deliver. Our dance floor was full the entire night!! Multiple guests complimented our choice of DJ because he really knew how to gauge the vibe based off of the short must play list that we gave him and keep the transitions and great music coming!! He was on time/early to our ceremony and was fully set up and willing to coordinate with our officiant with the sound and timing. Roman took the lead on running the dance floor but didn't hesitate to ask our opinion on timing when he thought that is what was best. I've never had so much fun dancing at a wedding! If I ever have a need for a DJ in the future, or any friends ever need to find their wedding DJ, I will 100% recommend Roman and Mixology!! Thank you!!!

DJ Giff Was Awesome!

We had DJ Giffdid for our wedding and he was awesome! He kept the party alive and our dance floor was full all night! He kept the crowd hyped up and even joined us on the dance floor a few times! I had some pretty specific request for my wedding and he played everything as it should! He was also very easy to talk to! His assistant was great for the day of and helped take song request! We would definitely recommend him and Mixology!

Wow! Where to Begin

Oh wow, where to begin. My partner and we’re looking for a DJ who understood our love for EDM. We vetted several people, and settled on Mixology. We ended up with Roman as our DJ. We had a requested a polka to open up the dance floor, and the way he transitioned a polka into the dance music for the evening was AMAZING! The mixing was insanely good, and our friends were on the floor the entire night. I stayed dancing in my gown the whole time even though it was 90 degrees out. Roman was professional, fun, and obviously loves what he does. We had so many compliments throughout the night on how great our DJ was. The other highlight was that he amazing with my daughter and nephew, and let them have a chance to see what being a DJ was all about. I could not recommend a vendor enough. A must have vendor for any occasion!!!

Glad We Chose Mixology

I'm so glad we chose Mixology for our DJ. The app that they use to layout your plans was super easy to use. Their pricing was clear and had no hidden fees. Gifford Cordova and his wife were our DJs, and they definitely brought the energy for our wedding. They did amazing picking out songs that matched the vibe we wanted, and made everything run very smoothly. We chose their package that included a photo booth, which I highly recommend!

August 2024 Wedding

Roman did a fantastic job as a DJ, he kept the party going and made sure our guests had a great time. We had something small go with our photo-booth, but Roman went above and beyond to make this right and it didn't impact our guests' experience. Our guests enjoyed the photo-booth so much and we were glad he was able to provide it, 10/10 would recommend the photo-booth! Roman was so helpful through the planning process, being communicative and helpful with suggestions. The wedding timeline software he gave us access to was also extremely useful. Don't hesitate to book Roman for your next event!

Favorite Vendor From Our Wedding!

Roman was easily our favourite vendor from our wedding. He was very professional, but in a friendly / reassuring way. Couple of times he saved the day when we missed certain cues but he saw it and adapted and the music timing perfectly despite our delay. The dancing was absolutely electric — he’s an incredibly accomplished DJ who mixed all the music live based on the dancefloor vibe, and he had EVERYONE dancing. It was really incredible how he was able to every generation out there at one point or another. We also had some pretty specific / hard to find songs, which he accommodated flawlessly. Couldn’t recommend him more!

10/10 Best DJ!!!

Putting into words how great Roman made our wedding night is impossible. We’re almost a week out and people are still talking about how great he was. Nobody left the dance floor, we ALL karaoked different songs. He played easy listening for dinner, transitioned to more pop style music then the real party stared. He played everything from Shania Twain to Biggie Smalls back to Journey. My husbands mother/daughter dance song was a stumper & he helped me pick Simple Man, my husband and his mom both cried. Roman also got some CRISP videos of us tearing up the dance floor and karaoking! He was more than 10/10! Will recommend him every single time to newlyweds. Roman, you’re a gem!

Good people and good DJ's!

What a great company! There are so many wedding vendors and businesses in general that you talk to and just get a feel that they just want to sell you something and move on. From our initial call, you could tell that wasn't the case here. I think that is very important, to find someone who not only is good at their job, but someone who really cares! Crazy Dance Party

We had Mixology DJ our company holiday party 2 years ago and I luckily had just gotten engaged. I almost instantly knew I wanted to have them be our wedding DJ. Our wedding ended up turning into a CRAZY dance party and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Amazing mixes!!!!

No Complaints At All

I am soooooo happy we hired this company! We were actually on the fence about even using a DJ at all but decided to pull the trigger. Absolutely Amazing!

Roman is absolutely amazing! He met with us in person to explain everything we needed and he had dinner with us in our first meeting. He is so communicative and personable. He is a wonderful DJ and hype man! He had everyone dancing and our entire wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him! He had excellent lighting and a Photo Booth our guests loved. He made sure to follow up with us after the wedding to receive all photos and video from the Photo Booth. He recommended and referred us to Mitch (our videographer) who was also absolutely wonderful to work with and made sure he was available for everything leading up to and after the wedding. Mitch was also super creative too and had great ideas / suggestions for our wedding video. I highly recommend Roman and Mitch for any event that requires a high level of fun! You will not be disappointed!!!

Roman kept our wedding reception alive. He kept the party going even when the venue was trying to shut us down. Roman is super nice and very chill. If you are having a wedding get the photobooth it was so amazing! We appreciated everything Roman did for us from months before the wedding up to the day of. My wife and I were blown away by these guys! I actually heard Roman DJ'ing at a local spot last year and absolutely loved his music and the way he mixed! Total Package

Mixology was excellent and really understood what I wanted. The music transitioned so smoothly from song to song and he provided a lot more up lights than any other DJ. Plus, Roman is just a super cool dude haha he completely took away the stress from wedding day and we got wild! He knew how to get the party started and how to keep it going. They say DJs can make or break a wedding and Mixology definitely made the wedding! They also have a lot of extras, such as a light up DJ booth, cold sparks, confetti cannons, and a custom monogram (and probably 1-2 other things I'm missing). Mixology is the whole package and I highly recommend!!

Amazing to Work With

Couldn't have been any better!

Mixology was the DJ at our wedding and it's funny, but with a wedding you only need a few good things....you need decent food, a good venue, great people and great music. I didn't realize how important the music factor was until that night. The music was fantastic and everyone danced the entire night away. Roman helped work with me on custom songs, he was on time and on point for everything. The next day I couldn't count the amount of people who asked who he was and talked about how fantastic he did. Roman, big thanks to you brother, you exceeded any expectations I had. Thank you for everything.

Roman is the best!

Roman was referred to me by my wedding planner, and I am so grateful for it! He was awesome in every way, professional, responsive, interactive, and he was able to create a night that exceeded our expectations. He drove over an hour to meet with me and and my planner. We talked about the vibe that we wanted to create and he executed it perfectly. I gave him a list of songs and he did a seamless job of choosing from those songs and others with the same feeling, creating mash ups, throwing in transitions, and creating a total party atmosphere. Some of my absolutes were no top 40, no line dances/group dances, and no country music. He followed all of this and was able to make our night the best party I’ve ever been to He provided excellent quality sound for the ceremony and the reception. Also, we used the cold spark machines and they were the coolest!! We are so lucky to have found Roman, and would refer him to absolutely anyone that is looking for a kick ass dj.

Best Night of Our Lives

Wow! We had the BEST time last night because of Mixology! We gave him a list of relative ages of the guests and he created a custom playlist that never stopped. So many great songs!! The entire night flowed from one amazing son into the next! We were laughing, singing and dancing the entire night!

DJ brought his own equipment including lights and was super professional, easy to work with and accommodating. Can't wait to throw more parties with Mixology in the future!

Very Easy To Work With

Very easy going and went along with the flow! I didn't have a timeline for my very small wedding and my mom came in and changed everything the day of, but Roman just went with it! Thank goodness. The Dj makes sure everyone has a good time!

Exactly What We Needed!

DJ Nick did a fantastic job. The company was very responsible and professional. Nick arrived on time and set up and broke down equipment quickly and quietly. He did a wonderful job during the ceremony and reception! Highly Recommend!

Let's Do That Again Please

Dancing and enjoying good music with the people you love is just such an amazing experience. We were so grateful for not cheaping out on a DJ after the wedding. It is well worth it. Thanks for everything!

This is the DJ you NEED!

Our DJ killed it! We will be using Mixology for all future events and recommending them to all of our friends. We seriously don’t have one complaint to share- book them!

Rocked Our Party

We are so glad we chose Mixology to DJ our wedding! We have attended so many weddings in the past where the DJ was very lifeless- just playing songs at random to get through to the end and get paid, which we were able to avoid thanks to Roman. He really listened to our requests, read the crowd and rocked the dance floor until the final moments. Thank you so much!

Amazing from start to finish!

We hired a DJ not really expecting much besides someone to show up and play songs for us. The experience we ended up getting from start to finish was above and beyond. From the time we hired Mixology, they began helping us with planning and choosing songs, walking us through each step, and it never stopped. Our DJ, Roman, ran the show at our wedding. Making sure everyone was ready to go and our timeline flowed smoothly throughout the night. Can't thank them enough!

Best DJ ever!

So thrilled with my decision to hire Mixology DJ Entertainment for my event. Everybody was on the dance floor the whole night and he played exactly what I wanted to hear! Such a professional and very punctual with answering questions and helped keep the party going. Would definitely hire him for future events!

Great Experience

We had a great experience with Mixology for our wedding and are happy to give them four stars. Their communication was excellent—Roman always responded quickly and was incredibly kind and professional. They were extremely flexible and easy to work with, accommodating several changes we made along the way, which we really appreciated.

The photo booth was a big hit with our guests. The package deal of the photo booth and DJ was a great value and helped us save money. We also appreciated their thorough forms, which were very reassuring during the planning process. The photo booth attendant was phenomenal, going above and beyond by assisting our wedding director during set-up. Everyone found him kind and helpful.

While the DJ struggled to be heard at times and our music selection wasn't fully followed, we believe the acoustics of the venue played a role in this, and it was something we couldn't have known until the day of. Despite this, we enjoyed our overall experience with Mixology and would recommend their services for their professionalism, value, and flexibility.
