Mixology is VERY fairly priced. Save yourself the calling around. Furthermore, the office employees are very responsive and will do their best to accommodate specific requests that you have. The bartenders themselves did a great job at our wedding. If they were skeptical about a guests age, they carded them! My husband and I personally loved this, as we did have several teenagers at the wedding.

They were so helpful with a post prom event. The boys and their dates loved their wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

This company is fantastic to work with. They make planning events easy and seamless. The staff are prompt, hospitable, efficient and thorough. The team always goes over and above to return the space to its original condition once the event is over. The quality of food & beverage as well as presentation is excellent and provides a great value overall. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them for future events.

Mixology arrived early, set up in a spot where they were available but not in the way, and did a great job serving. They played a major part in helping my daughter's wedding be a success.

Mixology provided the bartending service for our private party. Ricki and Kelvin exceeded our expectations...their prompt/on time arrival, professionalism, interaction with the guests and table side service were just a few of the impressive manners that they demonstrated. Mixology services rank among the best!

Our bartenders were not only friendly, but professional and extremely efficient. We had over 100 guests and our mixology bartenders were successful in getting their champagne flutes full in time for our toasts. Mixology has continued to be reliable!

We were hosting a Derby party and realized we needed help serving and bar tending at the last minute. Mixology was extremely responsive and flexible in putting together different proposals. On the night of the event, we worked with Stacy. She was amazing! She staffed the kitchen and made sure everything was coordinated and on time, something I could never have done on my own. She thought of things I wouldn't and her plating and presentation of the food was exquisite. We will definitely use Mixology again for this and other events.

Being a event/and wedding planner in the DMV area you get the opportunity work with a lot of vendors, some good, some not so good.

I had the pleasure of working with the Mixology Bartending team (Pat & Ricki), on a wedding that I was coordinating on 7/20. Not only were they punctual for setup, ensuring that everything was setup prior to guest arriving, but the staff came prepared with a smile. Their friendly interaction with the guest, great signature drinks, and seamless execution with the other vendors and guest, made the event flow "effortlessly". It was a pleasure working with the MBS team. I'm looking forward to working with them in the near future.

Mixology bartended my wedding and did a FABULOUS job! They worked very well with us prior to the event, were VERY responsive, and very helpful. They created 2 signature cocktail drinks that went with the color theme of our wedding, and they were a HIT! The bartenders had great personalities, and were loved by the guests. I would HIGHLY recommend their services, and I will definitely be using them again!

We were married on June 8, 2013, and hired Mixology to bartend our post-dinner reception. They were easy to book and very helpful with planning out the supplies we needed for our open bar. Since we were planning to have two signature (his/hers) cocktails, beer, and wine - we sent our shopping list over to Mixology and they sent back quantity suggestions, which was extremely helpful.

On the day of our wedding, they arrived earlier than their contract required to set up, which made the day less stressful.

I wish I remembered their names, because they were absolutely excellent. They were friendly, easy-going, very flexible, and fast. They handled our signature cocktails without any issues. All of our guests had great things to say about them. Would definitely recommend Mixology!

We are in awe of the professionalism and knowledge of the staff to make our event a tremendous success. The mixologist Ms. Tina Roundtree was delightful and pleasant and very thorough in carry out her task to serve all clientele in a timely manner.

We are recommending Mixology Bartending Services, Company to our colleagues and friends. They have extraordinary people skills. We are so plesaed with there services.

The staff of Mixology Bartending Services are second to none. They provided immaculate services for an event of 200 guests. The staff were professional, accommodating, and polished. The event was a success thanks to Mixology. I look forward to working with them on future events.

I would not hesitate to reccommend mixology to anyone... in fact, since using their services at my wedding I have been reccommending them to EVERYONE! They were very responsive and answered or returned my phone calls promptly. I had called around to several different places inquiring about services and mixology was by far the most responsive AND the most reasonably priced. They well exceded my expectations. The entire staff was professional and enthusiastic. They served my wedding guests and even came around to myself and the bridal party during photos to make sure we had refreshments as well. 5 STARS!

I hired Mixology bar tending services for my wedding reception in the evening. They arrived on time and was very professional and friendly to my guest. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They answered any question or concerns I'd had ahead of time and wanted to give the best services they could provide. The workers were very nice and did exactly what we asked them to do. They helped keep the atmosphere relaxed and the place clean. The bartender was very qualified.

I'm the groom, but I handled most of our interactions with Mixology. Their service was professional and flexible. I did all of the planning remotely via emails and phone calls... In fact, I never met the Mixology staff until the day of our reception. So I was a bit worried, but my fears turned out to be unwarranted. I made a number of minor changes late in the game (e.g. the number of guests, table sizes, centerpieces, glassware), but Mixology handled those requests without a problem. They also picked up our alcohol and returned the leftovers after our event. The glass bar was sleek, and our guests said the drinks were good (and pretty strong). The reception got a little behind schedule because people were enjoying our dinner slideshow, but Ricki and the Mixology crew adapted to our needs and had the champagne toast ready at the right moment. The only reason for the less-than-perfect rating is that I wished their service was a little bit cheaper... but overall I think it was worth the money for the amount of fun we had. Thanks Ricki!

Ms. Pat and Ricky were both great and convienent to work with. I gave them the details and they made the event phenominal. I was even invited to a tasting and they gave special attention to detail to my wedding. They even added a specialty drink!!!! I would definitely use them again for future events and refer them to anyone in need of quality service. Fun to work with and very professional.

Ms. Pat and Ricki were such a pleasure to work with. We had a pig roast the day after our wedding and Mixology provided our bartending needs for the event.

Mixology did EVERYTHING!! All we had to do was tell them how many people were attending and what type of beer, wine, frozen drinks and sodas that we wanted. They purchased what was needed including ice, water, napkins, cups, straws, garnishes etc. We met them once at the park about a month before the event just to show them where we wanted them to set-up. Once we arrived at the park on the day of the event, they were already there setting up!

The staff of Mixology couldn't be more friendly. They joked and had fun with all of our guests and at one point started hand delivering frozen drinks to everyone :) Our guests couldn't have been more pleased with the service.

The best part about booking Mixology is that all of the left over wine, beer, sodas and water we got to take with us. The staff boxed everything up for us and loaded it into the car. We kind of overestimated what people would drink. We didn't take into consideration that everything would be recovering from the night before so needless to say, we have LOTS of beer and wine left.... hmmmm not so much soda and water :)

Mixology Bartending Services Co provided bartending service and catered liquor and other beverages for an at home graduation event...Prior to the event, Mixology helped us create signature drinks that were a hit with everyone in attendance of our event. My wife and I are very detailed oriented so we contact Ricki several times to inquire about the specifics of our agreement. We were greeted with pleasant and prompt responses each time to put us at ease...We were pleasantly surprised with the bar display and setup in our family room. In preparation for the event, we cleared a large corner space for the bar setup. However, we did not expect the elegance and style that we were presented. Mixology provides everything you request x2. The staff were dressed in very professional attire. Their interaction with the guest created a very relaxed atmosphere...For the amount of liquor that was consumed (LOTS!) along with the stylish presentation and excellent service, the value exceeded the costs...We will use their services for future events and would recommend Mixology to anyone hosting an event.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Mixology and I was very pleased with the level of service they provided. They worked with me to make sure we had a great menu and stayed within our budget. Mixology Bartending Services were spectacular! A great staff which made all of my guests feel special. These bartenders made the beverages look and taste really great! They even decorated the Bar and all around it with beautiful flowers for that added touch! I'm glad we decided to use Mixology. They were a great addition to our wedding reception!

We used Mixology for our DIY wedding because our venue required the use of a licensed bartender in order to serve alcohol. They were recommended to us by the venue manager. Their prices are hard to beat and the service was great. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. My only small complaint was that sometimes communication was a bit slow. It took us a while to get our whole package locked down, but in the end, it was totally worth it! We got the bar, apps, and sundae bar and they were all well received.

This was the second gala event we booked them for. They are the most affordable bartending service we could find, and great quality. Even seemed to do extra like help pack up and sort out the remaining alcohol at the end of the night. My only complaint is that even though we include the 18% gratuity option in the booking fee (you don't have to), they still put out jars for tips on both bars, and people tip thinking that the donations go to the fundraiser, but they don't. I would appreciate it if there was something about the tip jars in the contract, because it always seems a little sneaky to me, since they are already being tipped.

Communication with Mixology could have been a little better leading up to the event but they were more than flexible and responsive the day of. (I think some things were lost in email/phone translation, no ones fault in particular.)
Day of service was worth it's weight in gold. Our specific venue had a lot of different challenges to work with (including home made catering from the groom's dad) and they made it work! Both sides of the family and all guests noted multiple times how great the bartenders and the good servers were. Every member of he mixology staff was busy and helpful the whole entire night. I would highly recommend for any event.

I contracted mixology for my wedding and originally thought they were very professional company until they get your money, I paid in full and a contract was made for certain hours of service which were agreed upon by both parties and I signed, a few months later I was given the opportunity to have my venue for an additional hour, as exciting as this was I called mixology to retain them for an additional time as was told that I would have to pay a change of contract fee in addition to given them more money ( I have never heard or seen a company charge a change of contract fee for given them more money.....) I declined to pay for additional time. the day of my wedding I checked my email and seen that I received an email from mixology on my rehearsal day at 6pm letting me know that they were going to be arriving at 6 and would be ending at 11 with no set up or clean up time, my wedding started at 5:30??? What who agreed to this change?? Not me I denied the additional time and never asked them to come later. I had to get ready early and set my wedding up beforehand which cut my pictures short and ruined my plans for my wedding day because I had to go work..... The bartenders arrived durning my ceremony in same building and we're setting up as I was getting married feet from them, very unprofessional. However the bartenders that were sent to my venue were awsome and very friendly and personable and the only reason for any rating and review!!!! Very upset customer as I am a bartender by trade and very laid back however this crossed a line that shouldn't have been crossed!!!!
