If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Michael was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the ceremony to the last song of the night, his MC/DJ skills were perfectly timed and the music was absolutely incredible. The ceremony playlist created such an emotional atmosphere, and the reception was nonstop energy from start to finish.

The dance floor was packed all night long—not because people felt obligated to dance, but because nobody wanted to leave. He somehow managed to play something for everyone, seamlessly mixing songs that kept every generation out on the floor.

The biggest testament to how amazing he was? We had multiple guests come up to us throughout the night and afterward specifically to tell us how incredible the DJ and playlist were. That has never happened at any wedding I've attended, and it speaks volumes about the experience he created.

He was professional, organized, easy to work with, and completely understood the vibe we wanted. He didn't just play music—he elevated the entire wedding and created memories we'll be talking about for years.

Excellent Wedding DJ!

Michael the perfect MC/DJ for our wedding! He did a great job with our ceremony, dinner, and kept the dance floor going all night. We had a last minute venue change which was stressful for us but no sweat for Michael. He took the time to connect with us before to understand what we were looking for in terms of ceremony/dinner flow and our taste in music. Very easy to work with, fun, can’t recommend Michael enough!

Stop searching for a DJ and just book MixMatch Entertainment!!

Mike at MixMatch Entertainment was by far the best DJ we could have asked for to MC our wedding! He helped align our vision, ideas and wishes into the perfect ceremony and celebratory night of our dreams! He was super flexible, and willing to help us with our memorial slideshow and read the speech we had written to go with it. He kept us fully informed throughout the night with our timeline, making it easy to transition, from intro, to first dance, to speeches, dinner and dancing. Amazing DJ

Michael was AMAZING! Our dance floor was packed all night & all the music was on point. All of our favorite songs were played & everyone had a blast! Must hire- One stop shop!!

Michael with MixMatch Entertainment does it all! He offers the most reasonable prices for his amazing and versatile services. His DJ/MC style helped our night flow and kept the party going. The addition of his live singing for cocktail hour started our wedding with chill vibes and impressed our guests with entertainment. The Photo Booth package was a fun extra and gave us hilarious pictures to look back on. He stayed true to our "do not plays" and really worked with the list of songs we wanted. His years of being in the industry showed with his professionalism, skills and abilities to meet our needs. We cannot recommend MixMatch Entertainment enough!!

The best DJ we could ever ask for!

Mike was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. From the first song to the very last dance, he absolutely nailed it. He read the room perfectly—knowing exactly when to bring the energy up, when to slow things down, and how to keep every guest engaged. The dance floor was packed all night and it felt like the whole world was dancing with us every minute!
Beyond the music, he was professional, warm, and easy to work with, making the whole process stress-free. He listened to our requests, blended in our favorite songs seamlessly, and somehow knew exactly what would keep our friends and family smiling and dancing all night long.

We booked Michael for his DJ + Photobooth Package and we would do it again in a heart beat! Despite our venue having a cigar bar and people leaving the dance floor to have a quick cigar-our dance floor was still NEVER empty and we still get compliments stating our wedding was the best they have ever been to!!

The DJ That Made Our Night Unforgettable

Michael was wonderful at our wedding! It was evident by our dance floor that was packed all night. Plus we got so many comments from people saying they had so much fun and it was the best wedding they had been too. We couldn't have pulled off such a great exprience without him. He did a great job of giving suggestions based on his experience when we were unsure of what to pick for songs. We had a broad list but he knew exactly how to craft the night and fit in the right songs at the right time. If something wasn't in the library, he had no problem getting it. Fantastic Wedding Reception

I had attended two prior weddings that had hired Michael for the DJ services and they were fantastic! When he was referred to us to DJ our wedding we knew it would be perfect. From the initial responsiveness and planning to the flexibility with timeline and overall quality of the day! A+ From Start to Finish

Michael was amazing from the start. Months in advance he was helping us plan through his website with song options for any special occasions we could have had throughout the night.

Our meeting with him before was very relaxed and he made us feel comfortable amidst the craziness of a pending wedding event. We talked through exactly how the night would look and he nailed every intricate detail that we had and had not thought of.

The night of the event was an absolute blast. The music was perfect from the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception right up until the final song of the night. After the wedding all of our guests gushed over what a great time they had. The dance floor was jam packed all night and that was due to the way Michael kept the night moving.

We could not recommend Michael highly enough to anyone looking for a dj for any type of special event.

Danced the Night Away

We can't say enough good things about Michael! From the moment the first song played, we did not leave the dance floor. He listened to what we liked and disliked, and played hit after hit all night. My husband and I also opted to have he and his bandmate sing live during our cocktail hour. I highly recommend this extra touch because it made the experience that much more unique. Great experience with MixMatch Entertainment

I recently got married and had Michael from MixMatch Entertainment as our DJ. He was great throughout the entire process! During the planning he made everything super easy. He was very helpful and insightful during all the meetings. The website to add songs to our playlist was very easy to use and had a wide variety of songs. Even the songs that weren’t on the site he was able to play at our wedding. On the day of the wedding everything went great with music. The ceremony music timing was perfect. All the songs we wanted got played. Michael was great about finding a way to get people up and dancing during the reception. 10/10 would recommend to anyone getting married.

Fun and worry free!!

Michael was our DJ and he was amazing! He is very affordable, and also very personable! We had a couple calls with him during this process, and he never made us feel more stressed. We saved a few major details, like first dance and introduction song selections, to the very last minute and he never pushed us to choose anything. He just asked to let him know when we decided. Michael was was very go with the flow. One thing Michael sent us was an online form that allowed us to fill in our timeline of the day with everyone's names, the songs we chose for different dances, as well as what songs we absolutely wanted to play versus what songs were not allowed to be played. Through that list, Michael was able to create a fantastic selection of songs for the wedding night, which covered the genres of music we were looking for. Many of our guests were raving about the song choices and asked if we made the playlist ourselves. We said "No, we just gave Michael an idea of what we wanted and he put it together himself". From the younger guests to the older ones, people were on the dance floor all night, and that is exactly what we wanted. Also on the wedding day, he checked in with us about certain songs and timing of dances, and we were very appreciative of that. He also made announcements throughout the night when we asked him too! Michael is very easy to work with and we highly recommend you higher him as your DJ!

We met Micheal on accident and it was the best accident that could have happened! We were having such a hard time finding a DJ we vibed well with, and he was such a cool guy. It was important to us to find vendors we really enjoyed because you want to be surrounded by good vibes the whole day! Micheal did not disappoint! I knew the second I met him we had to hire him, and so we did!
He listened to my song requests and curated such a great playlist! He had the guests dancing and hyped up all our fun little props through out the evening. Everyone also loved the Photo Booth Micheal provided and the BEST part of that service was he set it up at the beginning, and it stayed up the entire time! Unlike other vendors who come and break it down mid reception or set up mid reception!

If you’re looking for a DJ I highly recommend hiring Micheal! He brings great energy and cool personality to the day!

The Perfect DJ!

Working with Mixmatch Entertainment was amazing! The process was so laid back. We were able to tell Michael what our vision was and he made it happen. Being able to use a portal to upload songs we wanted for the ceremony, make a "do not play" list and a "must play" list guaranteed we were getting music we liked. Michael had our guests on the dance floor all night long! Some were even dancing before dinner was served. Mixmatch entertainment also has an option to rent a Photo Booth. This was a hit with our guests and it was used all night. Mixmatch provides all the props and copies of all the photo strips that were taken throughout the night. This was an awesome gift that we can always look back on! We couldn't imagine not using Mixmatch for our wedding, the night was successful with the help of their services!!

Simply amazing! MixMatchEntertainment exceeded our expectations! He crushed it!

Our wedding was in July of 2023. Michael was simply amazing! From the beginning, he was very responsive and professional. He kept us up to date, and we always felt we could trust him and his process. I appreciate his communication with us leading up to the day and I feel he worked very well with my venue coordinator and my photographer and videographers. Michael also made the booking and payment process simple and transparent.

Our wedding was on the smaller side, but the dance floor was packed the whole night.
Our guests still tell us how much fun the reception was!

If you are looking for a DJ who can bring the party, I highly recommend Michael and MixMatch Entertainment! We wish we could relive the evening over and over!

The Best! You Won’t Regret It!

Michael was absolutely amazing to work with! He made the entire process so easy and he was super responsive to all of my emails. When we decided to change our first dance song the week of our wedding, he was so accommodating. We had a lot of kids in our bridal party and Michael took it upon himself to try and keep some of them busy by playing their favorite music and getting them to dance before the ceremony started, which was more than appreciated. The music was awesome and our dance floor was packed the entire night of our wedding! I had so many guests tell me how great he was and how they had never seen a dance floor so full at a wedding before. He even played the original slow dance song that we had picked out for our first dance before we decided to change it, which was such a small detail, but it didn’t go unnoticed by us! We really cannot recommend Michael and MixMatch Entertainment enough!

Terrific and Fun DJ

Michael was a terrific DJ! He played everything we wanted and was very mindful of songs we didn’t want. All of the music and announcements went smoothly and people were on the dance floor the entire night. He also paid attention to every little detail including recognizing when the best man and maid of honor mentioned special songs in their speeches and subsequently played them after! Couldn’t have asked for anyone better to DJ our wedding!

Excellent! I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Our wedding wouldn't have been the special day it was without MixMatch Entertainment. Mike was excellent to work with in preparation for our wedding. We hired him to provide an acoustic cocktail hour and DJ the rest of the reception. Although we unfortunately missed most of the cocktail hour, we've been told the music was perfect. And we enjoyed his DJ music through the reception. Mike had guests up on the dance floor and all seemed to have a fun night. He was also a great MC and was thorough with making sure he pronounced all names correctly as well as having the timeline correct. I would definitely use MixMatch Entertainment for my next DJ/Acoustic needs, and I highly recommend him if you are looking!

Best Wedding DJ!

Hiring Michael was the easiest decision while wedding planning. He is incredibly kind and knowledgeable and was a joy to work with throughout the process. We first met on Zoom and didn't hesitate to book him. The client portal makes it incredibly easy to plan. When we met with Michael again, we talked about our must-plays, do-not-plays, and went over the timeline for the night, and our minds were totally at ease because we knew he had it all covered. And he definitely did! From the ceremony music to cocktail hour to the introductions, he nailed it. When my young nieces were the only ones on the dance floor while we were all still eating dinner, he even played their favorite Disney songs so that they could put on a show for everyone else. He had everyone out on the dance floor for the rest of the night and he perfectly captured the vibe we were going for. The photobooth was an awesome addition as well. We loved looking at all the pictures of our friends and family after winding down from all the wedding mayhem. I wholeheartedly recommend MixMatch Entertainment for your wedding. We cannot thank Michael enough for everything!

Best wedding dj

We hired Michael to be the DJ at our wedding and he was absolutely Phenomenal. He was so personable and friend, his music choices were so spot on. He really knew how to keep the dance floor busy. We have heard from our guests that the reception was one of the best that they have experienced because of all of the dancing. I can't say enough about Michael and this Vendor because both his professionalism and personality were beyond what we could have asked for. I can't say it enough, I highly recommend using this vendor, you will not be disappointed.

Great Wedding DJ!

MixMatch was a great choice for our wedding celebration! We used Mike for both the ceremony and reception, and couldn't have asked for it to have gone any better. We had a specific playlist that we wanted played before the ceremony, and he was so accommodating. At the reception, he played a little something for everyone and kept the dance floor busy all night. Before the wedding, he made sure to meet with us to go over all the specific song choices (couples dance, cake cutting, etc.) and was responsive with some last minute changes that we had. You definitely won't regret having MixMatch for your wedding music needs.

AWESOME!!! Great service, Very personable, professional

Married on October 22, 2022. MixMatch Entertainment was great! Michael did an awesome job. We were interrupted by a guy pulling up to our ceremony on a bike with his music blasted and Michael had no problem letting the guy know there was a wedding going on! You get to choose your own music that you like, not some predetermined music you wont. We had a very small wedding, 40 ppl approx. and no body danced because our families weren't the dancing kind we now know, but Michael didn't mind continuing to play music, even if I , the bride was the only one dancing. I felt bad no one was dancing but Michael didn't mind. He is a must hire! You will not be sorry. He's super easy to get along with, down to earth and played everything we asked and wanted. Search no more, this is and needs to be your only chose when it comes to hiring entertainment for your wedding or event!

Michael is the best to work with. Very professional, easy to accommodate your wishes. Had a great time. Choice of music was phenomenal. Very nice being able to choose what music you want to hear. Selections are incredible and his site is easy to use. Look no further if you need a DJ. Best money well spent. He is right on top of everything. Playing the right song at the right time and playing requests from the crowd right when he gets them. He is so easy to work with and to plan the event with. The music was not too loud and not too soft. He has the right touch. Michael puts the customer first and is very accommodating when planning the sequence of music and when it’s to be played. Awesome wedding experience all around!

Michael at MixMatch Entertainment was perfect fit for our wedding! We were planning a wedding out of state and Michael made it incredibly easy with fast and clear communications. We customized our wedding and Michael played acoustic during the outdoor ceremony, we had acoustic guitar and singing during cocktail hour, and DJing during reception. The cocktail hour was my absolute favorite, so unique and so fun to have him singing live. His playlist was perfect for us. Our guests also commented that his personality during DJing was so fun and energetic. I would definitely recommend MixMatch Entertainment!

From start to finish, Michael and MixMatch Entertainment was the perfect choice for DJ'ing my daughter's wedding. Prompt, Responsive, Professional! Michael provides such a fabulous blend of music moments starting with beautiful, live acoustic guitar for the ceremony, transitioning into live vocal/guitar for cocktail hour and then (literally) non-stop dancing for the wedding celebration. Michael was a key component in making the wedding a wild success and giving us happy memories going forward.
PS: Michael's singing during cocktail hour is unique and helps set the mood for the celebration.

Just Fabulous

Michael was fabulous. We talked a few times then again the week of the wedding. I'm sure he sensed our nerves. He reviewed music but also ran is through the way the day would flow and assured us of our plans. Day of, he was there early, talked us through plans again. I would recommend Michael from MixMatch to ANYONE- he was everything we hoped for and more. Simply the best 😬

Michael was amazing to work with!

He was professional, punctual, and very comfortable to work with. He helped to make our special day flow so nicely and played great music. The dance floor was packed all night from the youngest to the oldest and everywhere in between and that’s just what we wanted. Great at reading the crowd. He was very professional, and at a great value.

We would 1000% recommend MixMatch Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ for their event.

We got a lot of compliments on how great he did. A friends boyfriend even came up to me and said when we get engaged, I’m booking your DJ. I didn’t know how serious he was, sure enough… they got engaged a few weeks later and book Michael right away. Awesome & affordable DJ!

Michael was our wedding DJ on 4/8/22 and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Michael was easy to work with, super responsive, and kept us very organized throughout the whole process. Highly reccomend!!

I cannot say enough about how well Mike did at our wedding! He asked thoughful questions before the wedding in order to best meet our needs/wishes and exceeded them. He did an amazing job reading the crowd and had everybody dancing the whole night. I even had guests go up to him at the end of the night and tell him how awesome he was! MixMatch is top notch!

We used MixMatch for live music during cocktail hour, DJ during the reception, up-lighting, photo booth services and a couple of solo singing performances by special guests at our Aug. 7, 2021 wedding reception. All went off spectacularly! We loved the pre-meeting sessions to gather our preferences, help build the schedule and create custom touches. Michael’s experience, expertise and creativity really helped make our day unforgettable. We had the unique situation of having to reschedule our wedding reception 4x due to Covid, and Michael graciously redid the entire planning process multiple times with us! He helped us both organize the schedule of and execute a mini ceremony celebration during the reception, since by the time our reception could happen we had already married during Covid’s peak. He came up with the beautiful idea to do song dedications to a few special family members as a way to honor them. And of course, he had the whole party dancing all night! But his impact to our day was far greater than the great music he played! We would recommend MixMatch to everyone we meet.

Could not have dreamed of a better DJ!

We got married 11/7/21 and hired Michael pretty much as soon as we found him! After reading countless raving reviews of him and MixMatch Entertainment, the choice was clear. He was the DJ for us! He did not disappoint. He was professional and accommodating to our silly game requests for the reception and did an amazing job facilitating both. During the day, Michael made sure to check in with us before the ceremony, which we loved! Along with DJ services, we had him provide uplighting which completely pulled the room together. During dinner the lights were softer, which he switched to more bright lights during dancing, absolutely perfect. He definitely kept the dancing going, I don’t think there was a point where the dance floor was empty. To this day we still get compliments about the music and how awesome it was. An added bonus was the client portal which allowed my husband and I to put song requests and cater the music to our liking. We had a good mix of oldies and new music, which Michael mixed together perfectly. If anyone is looking for a reliable, fun, professional, and downright amazing DJ PLEASE hire Michael! You will not be disappointed. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Amazing DJ - the best choice!!

One of the best decisions we made was booking MixMatch Entertainment for our wedding. We chose the package that included live music during cocktail hour, and DJ’ing during the reception and dancing. All of our guests were raving about the cocktail hour live music - it was so great! Amazing DJ!

Mike was great! From planning at the beginning, phone calls, to the day-of we could not have asked for a better DJ! He was very accommodating and organized, even with last minute changes. During set up the bakery set up our cupcake tower in the wrong spot, Mike went out of his way to help my brother move every single cupcake (100+) and the stand to the correct table! Best DJ!!!

After choosing the man you want to marry, I would argue the next most important decision is choosing the DJ who will represent you in music, and make announcements on your behalf, and keep everything running smoothly. Michael Kingsley of MixMatch Entertainment was the DJ for our recent wedding reception. We had initially been in touch in early 2020, when we met him at a tasting for our caterer. When our wedding was postponed due to Covid, Michael was flexible, compassionate, and accommodating. We moved the wedding to September of 2020 and then again to September of 2021, and Michael was willing and able to roll with it and be available when we needed him. Leading up to the event, he walked me through everything, and gave me the confidence that he could handle the things I wanted from a DJ (making announcements, reading the room to determine if people wanted to keep dancing or mingle, etc.) He even provided a photo booth! Michael communicated closely with me during the event, ensuring that everything was going according to plan. He took really good care of us and I knew I was in good hands. I got so many compliments on my playlist and I laughed because there was no way I had the time or the energy to sit and pick out every last song to be played throughout the evening. That was all Michael. I told him the type of music I wanted and he ran with it. The best part was hiring Michael was so reasonably priced! All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and I couldn't be happier we chose Michael and MixMatch Entertainment.

Where do I begin?!? Mike was amazing from start to finish. His communication from the moment we picked him to be our DJ until the day of the wedding was amazing and made the process so stress free. Beyond Expectations

WOW! How incredibly LUCKY 🍀 to have had Michael of MixMatch Entertainment be the DJ at my daughter’s wedding!!! He is nothing short of AMAZING!! So easy to talk to, so attentive to every detail that we discussed, so comfortable with our family and guests - felt like he was a part of the family! His professionalism showed throughout the day and the whole process. And…it was a process as we had 2 weddings scheduled in 9 months time and both during COVID. 9 months ago he made himself available to do whatever we were “allowed “ to do during Covid (which sadly ended up being nothing). Lucky for us we had another wedding to plan just 9 months later and he was incredibly flexible, went with the flow and is just simply put, a great guy! But, not only is he a great guy, he is very, very talented, organized and knows his business! I would give him 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟if I could! Let me just say, the music at a wedding is almost the most important part - it makes the difference between an OK event and a MAGNIFICENT one! Ours was the latter! Mike and MixMatch are Awesome!

My husband and I had the unfortunate experience of having planned a wedding that would have been right in the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Mike and his team were absolutely amazing to work with throughout this tough time. He was always responsive to all questions we had and quickly pivoted as we had to postpone the wedding. I had a special song that my husband's grandmother had wrote and he got his pianist to record it so I could use it at our intimate ceremony that was happening that year. When it came time to plan the postponed celebration he was just as awesome working with us on all song requests, talking us through the process and just being all around awesome! We can't recommend this company enough.

10/10 Would Recommend!

MixMatch was absolutely fantastic! With a lot of challenges and changes to our wedding due to Covid there were plenty of things to worry about, but Michael made sure that the music and entertainment was not one of them! We weren’t sure what the “vibe” of the wedding would be given our wedding had been downsized, but Michael did an amazing job reading the room and making sure that we all had an awesome time. The live music during the cocktail hour set the stage or beautiful evening.

Michael also made the planning process easy; he was always available to help with any questions we had, big or small, prior to the wedding day. Planning music and picking songs for all the special moments of the night can be so overwhelming but Michaels process and web tools made the planning easy. He really helped us relax and enjoy the big day. MixMatch truly made our day special and we could not have asked for more!

Highly Recommend!

Michael was such a great find! When we were looking for DJs, we found a lot of DJs were trying to be the center of the show like they were hosting a concert (not what we wanted at all). My cousin was getting married around the same time as us and had already hired Michael so she highly recommended him. He was extremely responsive and we met with him within a couple weeks. He was detailed and knew all the right questions to ask and made us think about how we actually wanted the layout of the day to be. He explained that he wanted to make the day about us and do whatever we needed to make the day perfect. He had a lot of upgrades that were optional and we did a couple of the options (photobooth was so fun!). He has a website where you can input all of the potential planned events of the day, estimated time, names of bridal party, song loves/hates, etc. That was great and super easy to use. We met a month before the wedding to go over any last minute details which helped put our minds at ease. Day of the wedding, Michael was extremely prompt and met all of our requests and even double checked my bridal party's names (I accidentally used maiden names so this was great!). His announcements were perfect and most importantly he played music based off of the crowd's vibes. I had SO many guests tell me that they never left the dance floor. I highly recommend Michael to anyone who wants to have the dance floor full the whole night!

Professional, amazing and easy to work with

We hired Michael and John for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were incredible. They had learned multiple songs for us that meant a lot and blew us away with them. Michael was our go to contact person and he was always so professional and quick to respond. We had so many compliments on how they played so many different types of music at our cocktail hour. We were also able to go out and see them a few times locally before our wedding in the area, which was always fun. I would highly recommend hiring Michael and John for any part of your wedding, they were complete professionals and have amazing talent!! You couldn't go wrong!

Michael was so easy to work with and the best vendor that we worked with. He was always available to answer any questions that I had along the way and made the process stress-free. MixMatch Entertainment offers more than just DJ services (live music, photobooth, uplighting) but I appreciated that Michael didn't try to up-sell us on these. He gave us all the information we wanted but didn't pressure us into getting anything we didn't need or want. Everything went great the day of! The ceremony, introductions, and first dances were all seamless and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The dance floor was packed the entire night and I had a few people tell me it was the best wedding they've been to and they loved the music! Definitely don't hesitate in booking them!

Made our wedding day so special

I cannot say enough good things about Michael and this company. Everything was easy and perfect. We had them play live music for cocktail hour at our wedding and then they turned into DJs for the rest of the night. SOO many people say they were one of the best bands they have heard. They took requests from our guests but also had us pick all of our music leading up to the wedding with an easy online system. I would recommend them 1000%

MixMatch is a Fantastic Option for your Wedding

We contracted MixMatch Entertainment for our wedding in October 2019, and I cannot say enough good things about the company and Michael Kingsley. Michael was awesome to deal with throughout the entire wedding process and if we ever had a question, he would always respond in a timely manner. I was so comfortable throughout the entirety of the day and Michael was a huge part of that. We had him playing music for both the reception and the ceremony. He made the ceremony extremely special with his flawless introduction of songs and kept the party going throughout the entire reception. The best way to describe Michael, and how he runs a wedding, is like a Quarterback on a football field. He makes sure that everything goes according to the plan and reigns people in to direct attention where needed. Before the ceremony, he came down to check on the Groomsmen and I to see how we were doing, and even allowed the Bridesmaids and Bride to dance prior to the ceremony to get rid of some of the pre-ceremony nerves.
Michael kept a great eye on the timeline and sequence of events. Everything was extremely smooth through the introductions to the first dance, all the way through the cake cutting. When meeting with Michael he was an absolute professional and was adamant about pronouncing the wedding party’s names correct. He was extremely attentive to playing songs that we requested and if there was a song that he did not have within his vast collection, he was able to find it with ease.
As I said, I cannot say enough great things about Michael and how he manages a wedding. There were a number of people coming up to me during the event saying how awesome he was, and all of my parents friends were telling them after the wedding that he made it one of the most fun weddings they had been to. If you are looking for a DJ to quarterback your wedding, play fantastic music, make sure that you feel comfortable throughout the entire process, and ensure everything goes smooth on the day of; Michael is the DJ for you.

We got married 9/22/19 and originally planned for a much smaller wedding than we had. Michael accommodated through a change of venue, time, and went from one set up to needing to set up in three areas. He was so patient and helped us feel not so rushed throughout our busy night. He read the crowd perfectly and had all our friends dancing right up to the last song. Our daughter loved him and talked about him all night! Thank you for making our night so perfect!

Phenomenal from beginning to end!

First off ... Michael is beyond amazing!

From our initial meeting to our perfect wedding day he was right by our side - always reassuring, accommodating, offering guidance throughout our whole wedding planning process, great time management with immediate response to our questions/inquiries and hands down an all around awesome performer and DJ! All our guests (my husband and I included) couldn’t rave more about the music, environment and how considerate Michael and John were. Throughout the wedding Michael would come up to see how we were doing, kept us on time with formalities and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Having Michael there was like having you best friend or brother around, we were all smiles to see him - We can’t thank Michael and John enough for all they’ve done to make our day so incredibly special.

Event Whisperer!

My wife and I can't say enough good things about Michael and MixMatch Entertainment! The last week leading up to our wedding was very stressful and Michael was so patient with us. Even though we weren't as responsive as we should've been, Michael was so calm with his demeanor it put us at ease and helped reduce our stress level. He was the same way on the day of our wedding. We had Michael and John play live music during our cocktail hour before our wedding reception and we had tremendous feedback on their ability to play such a wide variety of songs and the quality in which they sang them. It was amazing to listen to. We had Michael MC the wedding dinner as well and he did an amazing job of making sure all the speeches were on time and the flow of the evening went according to plan. We also had them DJ the wedding reception and their ability to feel the crowd and know what song to play next was awesome...they had people dancing right up until the end of the night. Again, we can't say enough about the professionalism and energy they brought to our event. We highly recommend Michael & John if you have an event.

09.29.18 Wedding - Pierce House, Lincoln

We found Michael through a friend who works in the wedding industry. She had recently worked on a wedding with him at our venue, the Pierce House, and was impressed.

Michael was very responsive and easy to work with! His client portal allowed us to easily choose songs we wanted to have played during cocktail hour, the reception, and special moments (dances, cake cutting, etc.), and also note songs we weren't fans of that shouldn't be played.

Michael provided great service and value - which was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. On the day-of, he was attentive and even took direction from me (the bride) when I felt the energy on the dance floor seemed to be getting a little low. In all honesty, it was probably the cigars & sundae bar that were drawing people off the dance floor! Michael took it in stride and changed up the set - and no one left the dance floor after that, until the party was over.

A Night To Remember

We can't say enough positive things about Michael and John of MixMatch Entertainment!

From the first meeting to the last dance, these guys were helpful, engaging, accommodating, and so much fun. Michael was extremely helpful in our initial meeting and efforts to flush out the high level details - overall vibe, music do's/don'ts/must haves, and schedule of events. He provide a great balance of giving us what we wanted with helpful suggestions. The online portal made it easy for us to keep track of specific songs we wanted in the months leading up to our date. In the weeks and days leading up to our wedding, Michael was attentive in making sure all loose ends were accounted for. On the big day, we were met with surprise rain showers and had to move our outdoor ceremony inside on very short notice. They were very accommodating - quickly adapting and made sure that we didn't miss a beat. Michael and John provided live music (acoustic/singing) for our cocktail hour and proceeded to shepherd us through the rest of our amazing night - intros, speeches, and ultimately, to the dance floor. These guys are a blast and we're grateful for the effort they provided throughout the whole process!

Overall, we had a very positive experience working with MixMatch - they are a great team and provided us a seamless, stress-free, incredibly fun night that we'll always remember. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Had the dance floor packed!

Between our group of friends, Michael will be known as DJ Tanner because he kept the dance floor a Full House! Everyone had a great time at our wedding reception thanks to Michael who played exactly what our guests wanted to hear to get them up off their seats. Michael was also very friendly, responsive, and understanding of the wedding process. I can’t thank him enough for being so accommodating to our music requests. We have two large Irish families who were looking forward to some Irish music being played and Michael was able to work it into the night. Great guy and awesome DJ!

Michael and John are AMAZING. They are so easy to work with, and did such a great job on our wedding day. It was so nice to meet in person before we even booked, just a lovely personal touch. MixMatch Entertainment is by far the best. I have been listening the band play for years and was always in awe of their talent. My wedding would not have been as special without them. The prices were great, they were professional, always responsive and most of all super talented. I was able to have live music during my cocktail hour, and Michael DJ for the reception. I am still receiving so many compliments, guests couldn't believe they can sing and DJ! Everyone was dancing the whole time. No other better company out there. I will always be grateful for them making my wedding so special.

This is a no brainer! I have seen Michael & John perform for years, and when my daughter got engaged in June of 2017, there was no question in my mind who would be performing at their wedding!! I can’t say enough positive things about Michael and John of MixMatch Entertainment. From the moment I heard them perform live at a local bar I knew I had to book them for my wedding, which was September 1...just a few short weeks ago. From the ceremony music, (they even learned a new and difficult song on the guitar for me) to the cocktail hour and into the reception everything was perfect. They not only performed Frank Sinatra live for me and my Dad to dance to but Michael even came out onto the floor to sing to us. Michael and John were excellent! We got married last week and Michael was there to support us every step of the way with planning our playlist. The best part was how easy it really was for us to pick out our songs, as he has an online page that allowed us to fully customize the list. Michael is super personable, caters to what you want and will help you make decisions is you get stuck. Communication was on point, and we were informed every step of the way about how things would go. We gof no complaints and we had a packed dance floor all night! Michael was superb, including everything from the music and announcements and selecting our perfect playlist. He was incredibly communicative throughout the process, and ensured we were comfortable with all things in place. When our transportation at the end of the night was delayed, he kept the party going so that there was no disruption to events and made it seamless in doing so. His little touches here and there and general attitude made everyone comfortable. We would highly recommend Michael to anyone!

I first met John of MixMatch Entertainment ~4 yrs ago via guitar lessons. Not only is John a wonderful teacher, but he is a genuinely kind and funny human being. John told me about 2nd Chance Band, the 2 man acoustic band comprised of himself and Mike, and encouraged me to come see them play. I have been to several shows, and they are something special. Their compassion for music and entertaining is evident; you will hear creative medleys, guitar solos, and even the shaking of moroccas at their shows. Their song list is eclectic, from The Eagles to Ed Sheeran, 90's alternative to country. When my wife and I were planning our wedding reception, we knew we wanted to have live music so we asked John and Mike to be our entertainment. Their communication with us was timely and made the planning process less daunting. We decided to have them play live for 2/2.5 hours (cocktail hour through dinner), hear speeches, then have them DJ. They sent us a link to their website where we browsed songs and added ones we definitely vs maybe wanted played. Our wedding reception was last weekend and we cannot tell you how many people complimented or inquired about "the band." My Dad is notorious for complaining about noise volume, and for the first time in his life he had NO COMPLAINTS. We were able to hear them play, but we were also able to hear our conversations with guests. Mike also introduced our speakers; we opted not to have a first dance, cake cutting, etc, but if you wish to do these things they will coordinate and announce. The dancing portion of the night was an absolute blast. Our guests all commented on how quick it went, which means they liked the jams (and were capitalizing on the open bar, ha). We heard many of our selections, and some songs they played based off the crowd's reaction. MixMatch knows what they are doing, as the dance floor was still crowded till the end. As a psych nurse, I can say with confidence that you are CRAZY if you don't hire John and Mike :)

Michael was wonderful from day one and really put both of us at ease. In the planning stages of our wedding, he was the first DJ we spoke to that asked us what we wanted instead of trying to upsell us on photobooths and lighting packages. Communication was prompt/easy and all of the planning material on his site was very helpful. The audio for our ceremony was perfect even though it was moved inside at the last minute due to rain, and the cocktail hour vibe and volume were spot on. The music played during our reception was a perfect mix of what we had requested and other music that blended in perfectly. Any announcements made fit in naturally and the dance floor was full of friends and family of all ages all night. If you want an amazing DJ for your wedding that will keep everyone up and dancing all night, MixMatch Entertainment is the way to go!
