Amazing Entertainment!

Mixing Maryland was one of a few DJ options we were considering. From the very first interaction we could tell they were professional, thorough, and accommodating. DJ Harvey Dent ended up being a perfect fit for us and he did an outstanding job! He was exactly what we were looking for - playing a mix of music that we told him we liked but also some songs that he could tell our crowd would be into. We didn’t have to make a big playlist and he was able to create a set that we absolutely loved, from just a few different phone conversations. The dance floor was packed all night long and we are still getting compliments about how great of a party it was. We would definitely recommend DJ Harvey Dent and Mixing Maryland to anyone looking to have an amazing wedding!

Mixing Maryland and DJ Kyle ROCK!!

Mixing Maryland and DJ Kyle were absolutely phenomenal for our wedding on April 25th 2026. The process from start to finish was made so easy from the first phone call through the wedding. We could tell they were professionals and they proved it through the whole process. We got SO many compliments from our friends and family about how amazing the DJ was - his personality & demeanor, his understanding of the timeline and our music needs and wants, and of course the live mixing throughout the night!! It was a killer dance party and a seamless experience!! Mixing Maryland is hands down the best choice for your DJ.

Best dance floor, best people

WOW!!! Kyle was absolutely fantastic, and we loved working with the whole Mixing Maryland team.

1. Our dance floor was PACKED the whole night. It was just banger after banger after banger. Multiple people told me our DJ was awesome, and he was. He responded to the crowd and kept things moving.
2. Kyle is just a great vibe. He made announcements when he needed to, but not a ton and never took up too much space -- he just kept the party goin. He's so, so easy to get along with and to work with. Every single thing went off without a hitch.
3. Mixing maryland was really, really helpful and easy to work with. They had good ideas about the flow of our wedding overall, beyond just DJ responsibilities. And they are organized and make it easy to coordinate with them about all things logistics.

If you want a bangin' dance floor, Kyle will deliver.

Dj perfection!

Music & dancing were hands down one of the most important things to my husband and I when planning our wedding. Our favorite part of every wedding is dancing, but at weddings we’ve been to in the past we never quite felt the DJs were perfection. There was always something missing - better songs, too much interjecting/MC-ing, or simply just missing the mark.

We couldn’t have made a better choice when we hired Kyle to DJ our wedding. He was DJ perfection!!!

We gave Kyle quite a challenge - blending Latino music for my Puerto Rican family with classic rock/traditional wedding bops for my husband’s American Irish family. He not only nailed it, he blew it out of the park. When I tell you, not a single guest left the dance floor, it was hands down the best night of our lives. The amount of times I heard “NO WAY” or “OH MY GOD” from our guests when Kyle seamlessly blended one banger into the next. Our college friends said it took them right back to our wild nights out at bars in college - so much nostalgia! My husband and I truly only left the dance floor to use the bathroom and even then we were rushing back to not miss a single moment.

We would 100000% recommend hiring them for your wedding music experience. It is such a custom and personalized experience I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed. We couldn’t have dreamed up a better experience!!

Peace of mind booking the professionals !

Kyle is the best!

Mixing Maryland was so EASY to work with; very helpful and communicative. We had Kyle DJ our wedding and truly owe so much of our wedding's success to him. He kept the dance floor PACKED and we received so many compliments from our guests on how great the music and vibes were (even days after our wedding!). We also really appreciate how on top he was with the ceremony music, toasts, dances, etc., and keeping everything on time and on track. He worked behind the scenes with our venue coordinate so that we could simply just relax and enjoy the whole day/evening. We would recommend Mixing Maryland/Kyle specifically to ANYONE who is looking to dance the entire evening away and have the time of their lives.

Talk about personalizing the dance-floor experience for our beloved bride and groom! Mixing Maryland - Wedding

From the start of our introductions to the wedding day, Mixing Maryland provided excellent communication. Communications were very organized and gave us just the right amount of information we needed to help bring our wedding day music to life. Our DJ, Troy, couldn’t have been nicer, more accommodating, and just the best overall. He understood what we wanted and executed it exceptionally. He really brought the party as the dance floor was crowded the entire time! Not only did we have the best time dancing, but our guests also told us how much they enjoyed Troy and his music. Kyle is the Man

We hired Mixing Maryland for our wedding and Kyle was unbelievable. From start to finish, he knew exactly what he was doing; organized, professional, and totally locked in on our vision. We threw him a pretty odd combo of music (80s classics, EDM, and 2017 frat-basement bangers), and he somehow blended it all into the perfect soundtrack for our night.

The dance floor was packed all night long. Every single guest commented on how great the music was, and we’re still getting messages about how fun the party was. Kyle was on time with everything, worked seamlessly with our timeline, and was just the absolute man the entire day.

I would 10/10 recommend Kyle and Mixing Maryland to anyone planning a wedding. He made our night unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. We loved Kyle!

Awesome experience

Dynamic Dancefloor

The best DJ!! We love Kyle!

We wanted to take a moment to say how absolutely incredible Kyle from Mixing Maryland DJs was. He was the perfect DJ for us, and we can’t recommend him enough. He kept the dance floor alive and absolutely banging all night long! Our friends were dripping in sweat and couldn’t stop dancing, the energy was just unreal! We also got so many compliments about how great the sound was during our ceremony. Guests told us they could hear every word perfectly, which meant so much to us, huge shoutout to Kyle for that as well. Absolute Perfection!!!!

I don’t even know where to begin….the moment Ryan contacted me I knew Mixing Maryland was the DJ service I needed for our wedding. I had to cancel another DJ due to some issues with their professionalism, so I was a little nervous. Ryan and I talked several times and his company is top notch. Then came me getting paired with Sean. Let’s just say we were a match made in heaven! He makes you feel like your wedding is the only wedding and we all know that isn’t true. He met with my fiancé and I on a FaceTime call and answered all our questions. We had some surprises up our sleeves for each other and he pulled them off seamlessly. Then his mixing skills….say what?!?! The guests still talk about it and how incredible the music selection was and how fun Sean was to handle our wedding. A must-hire for your upcoming wedding!

My wife and I got married in Leesburg, VA this past weekend and worked with Mixing Maryland. Truly can't say enough about how awesome it was to work with this team! Ryan was super communicative and made sure everything was super smooth as we got closer to our wedding day! We had the pleasure of having Kyle (DJ Little Rock) spin at our wedding and to say that he crushed it is a massive understatement. Kyle understood the vibe we were looking for after 5min on the phone with us and we never once felt anxious that he would miss the mark. He brought the energy and kept the dance floor jam packed all night long! At the time of writing this, we are 3 days post-wedding and we are STILL getting texts about how awesome our DJ was - some saying he's the best DJ they've ever witnessed. Cut a Rug with Mixing Maryland!

Working with Mixing Maryland, and Cortez in particular, was a wonderful experience for our wedding. They were responsive, eager, and so thoughtful at every stage of the planning process. They asked incredible questions to make sure they could provide a DJ experience that fit our wants and needs, and they were great about incorporating our requests into the plan. We made some intricate and complex requests for our music, and they didn't bat an eye. DJ Kyle is amazing

Having a great wedding DJ was super important to me. Mixing Maryland and DJ Kyle absolutely delivered. We gave him our vision and he completely followed through. He played the music we loved and none of the music we hate. He blended expertly and kept the dance floor packed the entire wedding with people of all ages. We are a straight-couple, but I asked him to make it a gay dance party and he delivered. All of my friends were sore the next morning from dancing so hard and everyone had an absolute blast. Amazing Wedding DJ!

Troy was fabulous! He got our vibe and music tastes super quickly and was even game for some of our more unique requests (i.e. Bridgerton theme music). Our guests only had compliments for the music and we were only sad that the night had to end due to venue noise ordinances. Best Wedding EVER with DJ Kyle

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Mixing Maryland. From our initial meeting with Ryan, we experienced the upmost professionalism and excellent communication. Best dj ever!

Having a great DJ and a great dance floor were top priorities for my husband and I when we first started wedding planning. A number of friends and other vendors recommended Mixing Maryland and it is easy to see why.

Kyle was THE. BEST. I cannot tell you how many times people came up to us during and after our reception saying that he was the best DJ they’ve ever seen. Kyle truly exceeded every expectation we had. Not only were WE having the time of our lives, but it was so fun watching Kyle rocking in the DJ booth as well. It just made the whole atmosphere even more fun! My Dad said after, “that is a guy who loves what he does, and is really good at it!!”

Beyond just the DJ/music itself, the planning process with Ryan and his team was also seamless, easy, and fun! Kyle also edited all our first dance songs so we could get the timing cuts we wanted. Finally, we also used Mixing Maryland for lighting and a custom video board. The uplighting to start the reception enhanced the overall look so much, and the "smart lighting" for the dance floor (that changed with the music) was perfection.

From start to finish, Mixing Maryland is a 5 start experience!

Mixing Maryland is hands down the best DJ service in Maryland if you want a professional, organized, and experienced DJ that knows how to keep guests on the dance floor. I attended a wedding that used Mixing Maryland for their DJ services and immediately knew I wanted them for my wedding too. DJ Kyle was the absolute best! We had so much fun, and everyone couldn't stop talking about how amazing of a DJ he is. He made everything go so seamlessly throughout the day and it was so nice knowing we were in good hands with all of the sound set ups for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He more than exceeded our expectations and multiple people were asking for his info to use him for their own weddings in the future. We could not have dreamed of a better, more professional, and talented DJ for the wedding truly. Helpful, Communicative, and Cool!

We never booked a DJ before so we weren't really sure where to start. After requesting information from several DJ companies, we were impressed with the responsiveness and helpfulness of Mixing Maryland. We quickly scheduled a phone call to discuss our needs and get a quote. From there, we were matched with a DJ. At our wedding, we needed to quickly pivot from originally planned live music to recorded music (because our live musician got sick). Our DJ quickly helped us make this shift, and everything went seamlessly. We loved our experience with Cubie/DJ Premonition and Mixing Maryland!

Kyle was amazing!

Best DJ Ever!

I could not recommend Mixing Maryland enough or more highly, they DJ'd our wedding and they knocked it out of the park!

We worked with Tazz who did an incredible job. He was extremely professional, considerate, and fun/easy going throughout the entire process - which was relieving to say the least!

Several of our friends who were in attendance were also blown away by the job he did, and have requested information on booking Mixing Maryland for their weddings! We will be recommending them to anyone/everyone who asks for one, and we are so thankful for their work to make our wedding day so special!

Life of the Party!

Long story short, DJ Sean is the coolest! He absolutely crushed it at our wedding, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. He was so professional and fun, from coordinating the bridal party introductions to seamlessly handling a last-minute song request from my 10-year-old cousin (which completely made his night!). DJ Sean went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an amazing time, and he totally made our night unforgettable. If you want your party to be a blast, DJ Sean is your guy!

Absolutely Hire Them!

We are so thankful to have Kyle as our DJ for our December wedding in Easton. From the first interaction with Mixing Maryland, we knew they would be the vendor for us based on the ease of conversation, professionalism, and knowledge of our venue.

Our specific DJ, Kyle, made the planning process a breeze (ensuring we would not in fact have to provide a multi hour playlist for him to play). He was able to choose songs based on us just giving him “we like country and folk”. We are able to trust him to create an atmosphere for the ceremony and reception that was welcoming, and a party environment for the reception that had a fully packed dance floor the entire night! We had guests come up to us numerous times saying that they kept trying to find the right moment to get a drink, but Kyle kept playing the best songs that they just couldn’t leave.

His transitions were perfection, the song selection was fantastic, and we highly recommend him!

Troy was the DJ for our October wedding, and we couldn’t be happier. He did an awesome job making an excellent alternative rock/indie dinner playlist for us (multiple guests complimented it), he emceed well during dinner and after (and pronounced the names right, not always easy!) and he kept the dance floor going all night - some of our guests said they hadn't danced that much in decades!! We highly recommend Mixing Maryland DJs!

Epic DJ!!! Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience with Mixing Maryland. Our venue recommended them, and we couldn't be happier. Ryan was responsive, professional and so personable in our initial meetings. He paired us with the amazinggggg DJ Sean. We knew our DJ would be the emcee of our big day, and it felt like such a critical decision. And Sean NAILED IT! He was so experienced, so detail-oriented, and so helpful in guiding us through decision-making about songs and general flow of our day. He confirmed all details with us. Our guests were SO obsessed with him. He wasn't just hitting "next" on a playlist (we'd seen that at lots of weddings); he was actually mixing! It was AMAZING. Great Experience from Start to Finish

David dj’d our wedding in June 2024 and he was the best! He met with us a few times in the weeks leading up to the event, made sure he was fully prepared for how to set the music for each special moment over the night, and then kept the party going on the dance floor. Numerous guests complimented his mixing skills and the vibes he created. Initially Mixing Maryland cost a little more than we were planning to spend, but it was 100% worth it.

Best music!

We used Mixing Maryland for our wedding on 10/28/23 and DJ Sean really brought the energy to the dance floor! In the meeting prior to the wedding he listened to our vision, noted our favorite songs & genres, and noted our timeline. Day of the wedding, he was so professional and chose the most amazing music based on what we liked. I had many people after the wedding say he was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard! Mixing Maryland DJs is amazing!

Mixing Maryland was really wonderful to work with! There's always pressure on a wedding to have good music, and DJ Troy definitely exceeded expectations! We had a very specific vision with a lot of inspiration playlists and he truly hit the nail on the head. Everyone was talking about how great the music was and his MC capabilities were amazing (and not cheesy like you would normally see). He added such great personality to our day.

Ryan was also great to work with. He paired us up with Troy since he matched our vision and checked in periodically to make sure everything was going smoothly. Planning a wedding is difficult having to consistently reach out to vendors for follow up, but I never had to do this with Mixing Maryland. I can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic DJ and Company!

We used Mixing Maryland for our wedding and our DJ, Harvey, knocked it out of the park! The dance floor was always full, and my (now) husband and I were dancing the entire reception. 10/10 Recommend!

Mixing Maryland was great to work with - from start to finish. We had Cubie as our DJ for the wedding and he was also terrific. We had to shuttle our ceremony location pretty last minute due to issues at the venue, however, Cubie was still able to prepare the mics and sound system in time. We also had (3) dedicated area for the wedding day - ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception and he was able to set up all 3 areas flawlessly. Our #1 goal was to keep the dance floor going until the end of the night and Cubie nailed it. The dance floor was bumping all night long and matched the music genre we were going for. The VIP songs were well executed and he did a great job MC'ing! Well worth the cost!

Fantastic Experience

Working with Ryan and Sean for our wedding was fantastic. Ryan made the booking process I credibly easy and was always responsive to answer any questions we had. He also made sure to set us with the DJ that would most fit our wedding vibe - Sean.

Sean was very personable and professional. The walk through with him the week before was incredibly helpful in making sure everything was pronounced correctly and we were aligned on the flow and vibe of the day. On the wedding day he was nothing short of a professional, you could tell he has done this for over a decade. The music at dinner was great and after dinner he kept the dance floor full throughout the night. Safe to say many of our guests including Maya and I got a solid workout in on that dance floor! He did a seamless job incorporating our guests requests in a way that kept the energy up and felt organic. Would definitely recommend using Mixing Maryland!

Best Wedding Ever

The amount of times I heard, "this is the best wedding I've ever been to" at my wedding was insane. I know this had to do with the INCREDIBLE time everyone had on the dance floor with DJ Tazz. He was so fun, engaging, and flexible. He was able to easily pivot when the timing of the day was running behind. He showed up and was ready to go early, and was just so professional the entire time. Not to mention, he knew exactly how to get people on the dance floor and keep a continual large group on the floor the entire time.

I would 100% recommend DJ Tazz and Mixing Maryland for your wedding DJs!

Mixing Maryland is a Must Book!

Mixing Maryland was the most responsive and proactive vendor we worked with for our wedding. From the start, Ryan was friendly, professional and incredibly well organized. Ryan made it clear when things were due and what they needed from us versus what they would provide from the beginning. Kyle was the DJ for our wedding. When we told some other vendors he was our DJ, they all complemented how great he was. We can now confirm that to be true - Kyle was friendly, professional and the music was incredible. We've consistently gotten comments from guests about how great the music was and how much fun everyone had on the dance floor. He also demonstrated tremendous flexibility with some last minute changes and requests. We are super grateful for all the preparation he put in as the day turned out just as we envisioned. If you want a packed dance floor, look no further!!

We enlisted the help of Mixing Maryland to DJ the after party for our wedding and they did not disappoint. Ryan was incredibly responsive throughout our engagement and helped pair us with Art based on our taste in music. Art threw down an amazing after party and was able to masterfully play off the audience while incorporating some of our special requests. The dance floor was packed the whole time. Our friends and family have not stopped raving about the awesome time they had at the after party, with all credit to Art at Mixing Maryland. We could not recommend the Mixing Maryland team enough, and we implore you choose them if you need a DJ for your wedding. If you do one thing, request KYLE! He was absolutely outstanding, the dance floor was packed the entire night. Ryan was amazing to work with to get things organized and booked. I forgot about extra fun lighting, and at the last minute, Ryan was able to help me get these amazing uplights that are sound activated and made the entire tent one big club! We had a blast. Outstanding

We actually have had multiple experiences with Mixing Maryland. We met Ryan and Troy at an open house at a venue we were considering. They were both so charismatic that we knew they were exactly who we wanted to keep the dance floor packed at our wedding. We had our consultation with Ryan, to talk about ourselves and exactly what we were envisioning for our day. He matched us up with Troy (which was great since we had already met him!) based on our wedding vibe and tastes.

Before we got to our big day, the DJ for my brother’s the year before had to cancel so I sent him Ryan’s way to see if they had availability. Thank goodness they did because DJ Cubie saved their day and their reception was a non-stop party, which was exactly what they wanted. He even showed up in a pink suit to blend with their “Margaritaville Formal” wedding theme.

All communication up to the very end of our perfect night was clear, timely, and organized. Troy checked in often as our date approached, making sure he knew exactly what we wanted and even asking if there were any other wedding stresses he could help with, outside of the music. He really was so helpful and so genuine. Troy showed up on time, was ready well before the ceremony, and the entire evening went exactly as planned. The dance floor was packed all night and so many guests commented on how great of a job he did at mixing and transitioning songs, and he was amazing at “reading the room” to decide what to play while still keeping our requests in mind. We could not have been happier and Mixing Maryland will definitely be our first choice for any future events.

We can't speak more highly of Mixing Maryland! Music was extremely high on our wedding priority list and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. From our initial consultation call with Ryan to our final DJ check-in with Kyle, our music taste, overall vision, questions and concerns were addressed in a professional manner. We used Mixing Maryland for our wedding in June and everything went well! From the ceremony to the dinner music to the reception, Cubie (aka DJ Premonition) absolutely crushed it! He was super attentive to all the instrumental and specific versions of songs we wanted. DJ Premonition is the best wedding DJ we've ever seen

The title is not hyperbole. We had an intro call with Ryan, who was great to talk to, and based on our style matched us with DJ Premonition. DJ Premonition took recommendations from us -- playing all of them during our requested time -- and read the room for the rest of his songs. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and many people commented on how incredible the music selection was. He read the crowd perfectly. He was also super professional and organized, talking through names and pronunciations with us ahead of time. We can't recommend DJ Premonition enough!

Extremely talented DJ that kept the dance floor packed!

We were so lucky to have Kyle as our DJ for our big day! From the small details like providing microphones for our ceremony to setting the vibe for the dance floor, Kyle was amazing! We wanted an energetic DJ, but not in the cheesy way, that would make the typical announcements like cake cutting, speech intros, etc., but most importantly one that could throw an epic dance party. Kyle did just that! My husband and I have a pretty eclectic taste in music so we gave Kyle full range to play anything and he nailed every song all night from the first to the last! He even mixed a song my mom specifically requested and seeing her face when it came on will be something I'll always remember! Having a DJ that could effortlessly "read the room" and transition between songs made for the best night. I don't think he ended up playing a single slow song because all of our guests were having too much fun jumping around! We trusted that he would keep the energy up and he delivered. Everyone left ~sweaty~ which is the sign of a great time! As a bonus, he also took some videos throughout the day and those were the first unofficial sneak peeks I saw! For all those brides out there anxiously waiting for pictures and videos, get yourself a DJ like Kyle that can make the moments and capture them too! We couldn't be happier with Mixing Maryland and the big role Kyle played in making our day so memorable!

DJ Premonition — Everyone Was On the Dancefloor

Mixing Maryland was an amazing DJ team to work with. Coordinating with Ryan beforehand was super easy. He always responded within a day to any questions I had and assigned DJ Premonition (Cubie) after he got a feel for the group that would be attending our wedding. I had a check in with Cubie the week before the actual wedding and had shared with him name pronunciations, song suggestions, etc. He was incredibly organized and came to the wedding day prepared. He played at cocktail hour all of my suggestions. Then at the reception, he kept the entire timeline on schedule and read the room really well for actual dancing. Dupont Circle Wedding 6/23/23

Ryan Deal and Sean Johnson at Mixing Maryland are amazing. Sean was the best DJ we could have ever asked for. He really knew how to work the crowd and more importantly, he was so patient and kind when guests bothered him with requests! Once the reception started, my husband and I didn’t sit down once. We had to be dragged off the dance floor anytime someone needed us. Sean was so friendly and always had a smile on his face. He always looked for our signals during dances and let us call a few audibles through the night. His flexibility made the night flow so well. My friends and family left our *indoor* wedding covered in sweat, so I’ll take that as a great sign. I truly cannot think of the words to describe our appreciation and happiness. Sean played one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) roles in our wedding day and I’m so so happy we found him and mixing Maryland.

We were so incredibly lucky to have had Mixing Maryland DJs are our vendor. We communicated our event’s needs to Ryan who picked our DJ for the wedding and answered a lot of our preliminary questions. He was so great to work with and did an amazing job of pairing us up with Art. Art was incredible! He was so positive and kind. He did such a great job of working a complicated event space and encouraging our guests to dance. He just kept the energy high the entire time like I’ve never seen at a wedding. We would definitely recommend this team and especially recommend Art.

Absolutely Incredible

I cannot say enough great things about Mixing Maryland DJs. For a recent wedding in St. Michaels, MD we were lucky enough to have Kyle as our DJ. From the very beginning, it was such an easy process. Kyle knew exactly what questions to ask as far as songs for the wedding party, father/daughter dance, mother/groom dance, etc. Kyle also totally brought the house down with the music selection on the dance floor. He is extremely talented at what he does and made the process just so easy and enjoyable for everyone. Truly, Kyle made our wedding absolutely spectacular and I am so happy that I used Mixing Maryland DJs for our wedding. I highly recommend these guys and you will have no regrets whatsoever by incorporating them into whatever event you are planning!

Great DJ Experience

The best DJ I’ve experienced!

Kyle our DJ was GREAT!!!! We got so many compliments throughout the night about his mixing and transitions between songs. He truly made the night so fun and did so well incorporating in our wants and our music tastes. The dance floor was packed all night long!!! Kyle set the tone for our reception and we couldn’t be more thankful!

Full Hearts, Sore Feet!

Where to begin! Just book them. We booked Mixing Maryland for our October 2022 wedding in Pittsburgh, PA and we are honored they made the trip. We had several meetings with Ryan and Kyle leading up to our big day and utilized their expertise for guidance on timeline, flow, and music recommendations. From the moment the dancing started to the the last song, our dance floor was completely packed. We had the pleasure of having David to DJ a retirement party. He was excellent and professional from set up to break down. 10000/10 best DJ ever!

The entire process of working with Mixing Maryland was seamless for our wedding. Our DJ was Cubie - and wow did he deliver on our wedding day! Our biggest hope for the wedding was to have a full dance floor the entire night - and we got what we wanted! We had such a blast and our feet hurt for days. In the best way possible :)

Even now (a week + out from our wedding) we're getting people telling us how incredible Cubie, the music, and the dance party were during our night. I will absolutely recommend Mixing Maryland to anyone planning a wedding (or even just a party!) who wants to have a fantastic time and a room full of happy guests.

Dance till you drop

The entire experience of working with Mixing Maryland DJs was fantastic. They are incredibly organized and professional, and you know from the start what to expect. They work closely with you to make sure that the music reflects your taste.

Jamaal, who was the DJ for our event, was awesome. He hit the vibe we wanted throughout our reception, provided seamless emcee support, and even accommodated a strange request from us to do a Halloween mashup of songs that (once they knew what was happening) was a huge hit with our guests.

The dance floor never once emptied, and he played enough variety that there was something for everyone. Our friend's daughter came up midway through the night and said "I never knew people could be so energized!" What a perfect statement to capture that experience that Mixing Maryland can cultivate. Truly top notch.

Sean is the best DJ

Sean from Mixing Maryland was awesome from the first time we spoke to him up until the last song he played at the wedding reception. He was prompt and professional, making sure events flowed smoothly. He was an excellent MC without being overbearing. We gave him only a few specific requests, but he did an incredible job of song selection. Sean kept the party going, the guests happy and the dance floor jam packed! Dance party of our dreams

We booked Mixing Maryland after interviewing several other DJs in the area. Our experience with MM was second to none - from our initial call with Ryan, which took place in spring of 2021 when wedding vendors were drowning in requests following the post Covid wedding surge. Ryan, unlike other, more expensive companies, took his time with us and answered every question we had, making us feel so comfortable with our decision. He connected us with DJ Sean. We had an hour consult with Sean where he covered every single detail start to finish of our day to ensure a seamless experience. The night of the wedding, the dance floor was ALWAYS packed, which was our dream for our day. I cannot recommend Mixing Maryland more highly!!! You can’t go wrong with Ryan and his team.

Cubie is the goat!

CUBIE IS THE GOAT!

I cannot even tell you the amount of compliments for cubie. Everyone loved him, several people asked for his info.

I told him when we spoke the week of the wedding “the weathers going to be terrible so you are the star of the show” and he DELIVERED.

And as Blair said- we went crazy when cubie played one of our groomsmens tracks.

The best decision we made!

Sean from Mixing Maryland was the best decision we made for our wedding! We have received raving compliments from our guests about how much fun they had at our wedding. He had everyone on the dancefloor the entire night and played a variety of music to please the crowd. Aside from being an excellent DJ, he was also extremely friendly, professional and went above and beyond to communicate with us and guide us on how best to accomplish the vibe we wanted for our wedding. Art was amazing!

Art was AMAZING. I had a wonderful time chatting with him through the process, and he was so agile over the course of the day. There were a number of last-minute changes he handled skillfully, and my Dad presented a challenge with his microphone movement (he gesticulates a lot!) during his speech, but nothing rattled Art. He was cool as a cucumber. To boot, the music was fantastic. I had friends and family asking me if I had made the playlist - they wanted a copy of it. I had to tell them it was all Art's masterful musical intuition.

Most importantly, no one could tear my mother or my father in law from the dance floor. They both had the BEST time.

THANK YOU!!!! If there is anything I can do to further express my gratitude to Art, let me know. I will sing his praises from the LA rooftops.

Jamaal was perfect! We didn't dictate much but told him some things we generally liked. He hit all of them and read the crowd well. We thought it would be difficult to get people on the dance floor because it was a very old crowd. But, it happened. We had a lot of fun dancing!

Amazing!

We had mixing Maryland at our wedding and they were 10/10!! Sean was our DJ and he absolutely crushed it. We had around 260 people at the wedding and I swear there were 250 on the dance floor the entire time. He played all of the music we wanted and none of the music we didn't. I asked for specific songs at certain times of the night and he played them all perfectly. I would 1000% recommend! Thanks for making our night amazing!!

Absolutely Incredible

We used Mixing Maryland for our wedding that had to be postponed for 2 years, and we could not have made a better choice than Mixing Maryland. The greatest strength whether it was with Ryan or DJ Premonition was their communication. Ryan was on top of everything, letting us know the things our DJ would need to be successful, the things we might want to think about for our wedding, and most importantly really listening to the vibe and eclectic mix of music we were looking for in our wedding. There is no other way to describe DJ Premonition than absolutely incredible! He was invaluable in helping use his familiarity with our venue for helping determine the best way to enter for our ceremony and also a good flow to use for the cocktail hour. He took a list of songs and genres of music and created a playlist that created a relaxed and fun atmosphere for dinner and cocktail hour but quickly turned it up to a high energy atmosphere when the time was right. DJ Premonition kept everyone, and I mean everyone even our older guests, out on the dance floor all night having a great time. He even got into the vibe of our wedding by wearing bright fun clothes and using some of the glow sticks we had at our wedding. I cannot imagine using anyone else for our wedding and cannot thank Ryan and DJ Premonition enough for making our wedding exactly what we were looking for.

Troy is the best!

My husband and I used Mixing Maryland at our wedding last weekend and are still thinking about how great they were. From our initial call with Ryan, he was so easy to work with and always quick with communication. On the day of our wedding, the music could not have been more perfect. We LOVED Troy! Our dance floor was never empty, all night long! He played every song we wanted to hear, from our specific dances, to requests that came to mind throughout the night. Troy came to both of us during the night to ask if we had any other requests, which was very thoughtful to seek us out and ask that of us. He was professional, friendly, personable, and does a fantastic job doing what he does best! We can’t recommend Mixing Maryland enough! They won’t play your standard wedding playlist; they read the room and keep everyone dancing the night away.

Kyle at Mixing Maryland DJ'd our wedding and was AMAZING! The dance floor was packed all night. His ability to read the room and adjust on the fly is incredible. Even cocktail hour music was great, getting us ready for what was to come. His setups in each room were great, didn't take up too much space, looked very professional and sounded really clear. Plus his own personal style was super cool and polished. The way that he MC'd and announced things to the crowd was never awkward, there was never a moment that we were wondering what was going on, he had everything under control at all times. He had two phone calls with us about a month before our wedding and worked with us on our must-play and must-not-play lists and his feedback was super helpful. I even had a song that was a mp3 file as a surprise for my husband and he worked it in to the night perfectly. Truly can't recommend him enough!

Best Night of Lives!

Kyle freaking KILLED IT!! Literally everyone was saying how amazing he was and the way he read the room and got everyone out on the dance floor was perfect. There were some last minute adjustments with a intro line up change and then shortening a song and was he super accommodating. One of the photographers saw him in the ceremony space where we could see from the suite and was like “is that Kyle?! I love that man this is gonna be one hell of a night for you guys”. Having the live mixing experience from a DJ is a whole other level of talent, how smooth the transitions were from song to song and the little teasers of songs he was mixing in had everyone super hyped. Joe and I were living our best lives out on the dance floor (along with everyone else). Truly the best night of our life. Working with Ryan and Kyle has been such an amazing experience and I’m so grateful that Mixing Maryland was apart of our special day. They were the first DJ I reached out too when planning and from the first phone conversation I knew that they were it. They are so easy to talk to and made everything so easy for the planning process.

Terrific - Fun and exciting.

Awesome! We partied all evening!

Kyle was awesome! There was never a moment the dance floor was empty. He was responsive and asked all the right questions we never thought of. Also Kyle is an actual DJ and did some really cool transitions that were not over the top but still impressive. Ryan (co-owner) was also great and helped with some last minute uplights and making us feel heard and just always offering to help wherever he can. Definitely use them!!

I can't recommend Kyle, Ryan, and Mixing Maryland enough for your wedding day (real DJs mixing live on the spot)! Kyle was creative, thoughtful, responsive, so much fun to work with, and super talented. He fully understood our vision for the music and was onboard for some of the specific ideas we had (live song as we walked down the aisle, penultimate song and final song, etc.). Our guests were so impressed with the music and all of the audio execution was flawless. Kyle had the dancefloor going all night and knew just when to play the right song!

Didn't leave the dance floor

Didn't leave the dance floor! Wow, Mixing Maryland and Kyle were professional but also the MOST fun. Kyle did a great job at reading the room, keeping everyone having a blast on the dance floor, as well as allowing space for our Jewish Bottle Dancers to start the Horah. The way Kyle mixed songs and blended my taste with my husband's taste with music was an artistry.
