    Mixin' J was absolutely remarkable! They had DJ'd our wedding reception and did not fail to provide a fantastic time. Not only were they accommodating with the music styles/choices we requested, they also offered a monogram service to have our names displayed which was simply gorgeous. Everyone was very professional, knowledgable and understanding. Even when the A/C died in the hall on a 90 degree day they were absolutely fantastic. Honestly, I am going to be suggesting their services moving forward for any event!

    Jay and his team were on point at my brother’s engagement party. From Bollywood and Bhangra to Top 40s and 90s hip hop, Jay had a flawless performance and you knew it wasn't just a pre-recorded mix like some other DJs do it.

    I'm a music snob and have high standards in sound and lighting and I highly recommend this team to DJ your next party.

    Jay and his team were amazing! I am the type of person to really delay planning, but Jay was accommodating and made sure that everyone was on the same page. He worked with us to make sure the music for all events were perfect. The smallest of things like the timing of certain music to even bigger things like coordinating with other vendors, Jay did it all. One thing that I really appreciated above all else, was the fact that he was able to understand us as couple. He understood that we wanted a simple traditional wedding and he made sure to cater to our needs. I've seen him do so many different types of events, yet I was amazed at how well he was able to adjust the music to our taste. During the vidaai we didn't necessarily have a strong opinion on what should be played, but to our surprise, when it actually came time to the vidaai he chose the song that I had sent to him for a different purpose and used it because he thought it would be perfect for the vidaai, and we could not have made a better choice. To this day, when my wife hears that song she becomes emotional and that's all because Jay was able to choose the right songs at the right moments to make our wedding unforgettable. I am definitely not doing justice to his work through these few words, but I hope those of you looking for a DJ really consider Jay, because I am 100% sure that he will go above and beyond to make your event special.

    Just wild. My wife and I had a blast with mixinj and his people. Kept it rocking with all the songs we asked for. Great Dj, great crew and great service.

    Words can not describe the amount of time and effort Jay and his crew put into all of our events. They were always on time for each event and really made sure our guests were having a great time. Not only did he provide great music but also took extra steps to take care of us. We were so lucky Jay was available! We were so pleased with the SnapChat filters and color coordination he took into account for each event. He communicated with us and our family each step of the way and everyone was always on the same page. We would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for someone to make their event as special as Jay made ours!

    Jay was great! Honestly our wedding wouldn't have been so much fun without his help. From the beginning of planning and pricing of his services, to when he was mixing the day of the event, Jay was fair, helpful, and overall a great DJ. In the morning for the baraat he coordinated with the dhol player and kept everything moving to be on time and at the reception he had a good range of music and was able to understand the crowd in what they wanted to hear. I would definitely recommend Jay as a DJ because we were so pleased that he did such a great job for us.

    One of the things about organizing weddings is making sure that the music is well suited for the crowd. It's important to find a dj that plays off the energy they get from the group and keeps them going. Music is a huge part of weddings fun and that's exactly what Mixin J did. I could not have made a better choice. He's well connected with the old and new hits. The mixing he does with all that music is phenomenal. I would highly recommend this vendor to everyone and anyone.

    DJ Jay had created perfect ambience for our guest to feel welcomed and comfortable with warm dancing light all around. Everyone enjoyed his selection of music and danced till the end. He had a good collection of Indian and western music to cater all age group choice. We loved his service and would recommend him to do any kind of function.

    The price was fair and music was great! We hired Jay for our baby shower and he did a great job. Starting from the booking he was very flexible and responsive - he got back to me with the price and confirmation within 2 hours of me contacting him. He was at the venue on time and had everything setup about half hour before the actual event began - which was not the case with another dj we hired at our wedding. He played the music selection that we gave him right on cue with the baby shower games we had arranged, and he had a great selection of music that he played during the whole event. I know I will use him for any other events that I hold in the future and I would also recommend him for my friends and families events. I would recommend Jay for your event also.

    Jay and his team absolutely rocked our reception. His Dholi was amazing and did a great job keeping the crowd going even when the venues electricity went out for a few moments. His uplighting was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. They really helped set the mood and added the wow-factor. All in all, jay and his team are sure set to be one of chicagos premier wedding entertainment group. 10/10!

    Jay went beyond my expectations for my mehndi night! Great music selection and helpful with microphones! He even stayed when he didn't have to and helped facilitate and set an upbeat fun mood for the night! Also, he brought even more equipment than I had asked for. Everyone was thoroughly impressed and had a great time!

    I find it very hard to justify five stars for any business, but there's no other way to describe how great Mixin J was. The music was absolutely perfect for the crowd and people are still talking about it almost a month later.
    He was a true professional and executed our wishes completely. He's serious about his work and didn't play cheesy or vulgar songs as requested which we
    appreciated especially being a 1st birthday party. He coordinated the songs for our dinner and dancing perfectly.
    Every aspect of our party turned out better than we could have imagined, and Mixin J was a huge part of that. I will definitely book him for my future events and suggest you do too!

    Jay is very professional when it comes to being prepared and ready to go for the event. He played all of the songs we requested and is very familiar with the Hindu/Gujarati wedding ceremony process! Jay did a great job at our reception and kept our dance floor going till 1:30am!

    We were tremendously pleased with Jay's service and responsiveness even knowing he was coming from Chicago for us. I appreciate all the time he took out prior to the event to make sure things went accordingly. I will definitely reach out to him for our next event!
