Mister DJ was a great addition to our wedding!!
Actually bailed us out when our violinist had to cancel last minute. He was very personable and instinctive with our guests. Great experience!

Awesome DJ

I booked Mister DJ after meeting him a wedding fair! I did email him about 11 months before my wedding to check availability and pricing, and then booked him about 6 months before my wedding. He gave us our "homework" and worksheets and we were able to do an in person meeting about 10 days before our wedding. He was our DJ for the ceremony and reception, which we did have in one place (not multiple locations). He made sure he had all the right songs for the processional, recession, grand entrance and last song as well as any others he thought of! We stayed on the dance floor ALL NIGHT! I told my husband after the wedding was done "I needed a slow song so I could catch up!" but agreeably, by keeping all the songs super upbeat and adhering to my request of type songs played, we danced and sang until the lights came on! Our speeches were well mic'd as well as the ceremony. He was so flexible, well organized, kept it running smooth, super professional; literally cannot say enough about how happy I am to have had him booked as our DJ! So many compliments on the day from us and our guests!

DJ worth hiring

Great job keeping the dance floor full. Even did a few late song requests. Very easy to work with and played almost all music we chose.

Amazing DJ services!

I had a great experience!

I would recommend mister dj to anyone for their wedding! I was all over the place and he even came to find me before he would play my favorite songs! So thoughtful and he kept the dance floor packed!

The life of the party!

Jim did an awesome job DJing our wedding. He was polite professional and kept the party flowing. He has an amazing selection of music and got everyone on the dance floor. Thanks for being the life of the party.

Fabulous MC and Soundtrack

Having Jim at the mic MC’ing and DJ’ing our wedding reception was akin to the old infomercial line, “set it and forget it.” During the planning process, he was extremely helpful, recommending songs for the ceremony and reception, and on the big day, he knew just what the party needed. I doubt any of our guests remember much about him. In some ways, that’s their loss; he’s very personable. But the day flowed so perfectly, they had no need to seek him out. I highly recommend hiring Jim and Mister DJ for your special day.

My daughters wedding could not have been more perfect. Thank you to Mister DJ for going above and beyond. There were more people on the dance floor than the chairs. He read the party well and kept everything moving on time and with the best entertainment. The bride and groom were beyond grateful for their perfect night. From the vows to the last dance it was perfect!

Awesome DJ who kept everyone dancing all night!

Mister DJ was AMAZING!! We could not have asked for a better DJ! He was such a fun part of our wedding! He made sure the music was personalized for us and that everyone was dancing all night! We had a variety of guests who all enjoy different music and he made sure to play the perfect songs. EVERYONE enjoyed the music. He was helpful from the very beginning, helping us to find a great playlist and answering all my questions. If you want a DJ who will make your wedding special, enjoyable, and memorable, he is your guy!!

The best dj!

All we can say is WOW! Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with from the start. He is great to communicate with, responsive, and an all around great guy! Our wedding was an absolute BLAST because of Mister DJ! He also did the audio for our ceremony and cocktail hour and everything went off without a hitch. I would highly highly recommend Mister DJ!

Wow! Amazing service!

Jim at Mister DJ was fantastic!!! He was so on point with managing everything in the reception. Anything that we asked him to do after the fact he pivoted and was able to make happen. So much occurs on your wedding day that it was so great to feel like we had an expert in our corner managing the situation. From our initial meeting and song selection to requests and slight changes of plans in the reception Jim was incredible!! I would recommend Jim and Mister DJ to anyone. It's rare to find someone nowadays who makes you feel so comfortable but also executes the plans they put in place. I can't speak highly enough of him and his services!!

My husband and I hired DJ Jim for our wedding and we are so glad that we did! He had the perfect arrangement of music, was very accommodating about our song requests and changes, and worked with us to make sure everything was fantastic. Nothing but Excellent!

With having a destination wedding, I was a little nervous with picking a DJ that i haven't seen before and know nothing about. After talking with Jim the DJ, I felt very confident that he was the right DJ for my wedding. Great communication. He played all the songs that we requested to be played. Mister DJ is the best all around. Jim is extremely knowledgeable about how a wedding and reception should go. My daughter and her husband were on the dance floor all night. Jim made sure everything went smoothly and when things had to be rearranged he made it work seamlessly.

The Best Around

Mister DJ is really the best DJ in the area, hands down. I’ve had so many people tell me that my wedding was the most fun one they’ve ever been to, and I credit Jim 100% with making that happen. He did a perfect job balancing my more unconventional music requests with familiar classics that would keep people dancing. Even in my heavy ball gown and uncomfortable shoes, I had a hard time leaving the dance floor all night. I can’t recommend Mister DJ highly enough!

Jim is amazing! We have seen him entertain at weddings we attended before ours. We booked him and had absolute communication the whole time. If you want to hear from all your wedding guests how amazing your music was throughout your entire reception and how much fun they had whether they were on the dance floor or having a blast just watching people dance - then you need to book Jim immediately! My husband and I enjoyed our 2 1/2 year engagement and loved every minute of planning. Part of that planning included keeping a list of music we heard on Pandora or the radio that we knew we had to play at the wedding. We're 90's kids, so a lot of that list consisted of 90's hits. When we had our final meeting with Jim, we provided him with this list and he was just as stoked as we were about our music choices! We had a unique variety of songs from being introduced while Regulate by Nate Dogg and Warren G played, to our compilation of old school jams that he put together better than we ever even imagined. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and none of that would have been possible without Jim. He somehow knew our entire families' names without even asking and read the diverse crowd perfectly! It's been 3 days since our wedding and we're still hearing about how amazing our DJ was! He was so organized, professional, friendly, and fun! If you want the perfect wedding reception, book Jim asap!

We live out of state & Mister DJ was recommended to us by our caterer. We communicated with Jim via phone & email. about a month before our wedding I emailed Jim our list of music. A few days before our wedding we met with Jim & he had all our music categorized, made a few suggestions & answered all our questions. We had recently attended a wedding & the music was so overbearing & loud you had to practically yell to talk to anyone, so were somewhat concerned about the music at our wedding being too loud. Jim reassured us that he always does a sound check & we had nothing to worry about. The night of our wedding Jim did an amazing job! Everyone had a blast & some people even commented about how nice it was to hear the music but it wasn't blaring so they could actually have a conversation. A BIG THANK YOU TO MISTER DJ FOR YOUR PART IN MAKING OUR WEDDING WONDERFUL!!!

Mister DJ is the only DJ I would ever use in the future. They read the crowd and played what kept people dancing. They got to know the guests and acknowledged them dancing or when their song request came on. They were 100% what kept the wedding fun from start to finish!!

After talking with other, Mister DJ was more personal and very friendly. Jim was one we talked to and after talking with him it was decided to go with him. He helped us with music that we didn't know we needed. Always friendly and professional. At the wedding he kept everyone entertained and the night on track. I still hear a month after that the music for the reception was great.

We were so thankful to use Mister DJ for our wedding! Coming up with a song list was really easy with Jim's suggestions paper we could choose from. I loved working with Mister DJ for my wedding. Victoria did a great job with our music selection and also conducting our reception. Although we had made a schedule for the reception before the wedding day, she was very flexible and still took cues from me on the timing of certain things. Everything turned out so perfect and the pricing was amazing. I loved all of our music and our guests had a fantastic time at our wedding.

We used Jim from Mister DJ for our wedding and he was fantastic! He met with us beforehand and got a sense of what music we like and the what kind of feel we wanted for our reception and then he took it from there. The dance floor was never empty and people were talking about what a great selection of music he played. My 9 year old nephew summed it up best by saying, "I've never danced this much in my life and I like it!" Jim's a pro and I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone.

We were super happy with Jim. He had been the DJ for the grooms older brothers weddings and was absolutely fantastic. We used Mister DJ as our DJ for our October wedding. Jim was so professional and so much fun to work with. Our entire wedding raved about him for days and days afterwards! He played all of the music that we asked for! I would recommend Mister DJ to anyone!!!!

Mister DJ Entertainment was perfect in every single way! we had John do our wedding and he was fun, funny and so kind to us. I really would recommend this company. completely affordable, on top of their game, listened to every request we had and made it happen, everything ran so smooth with John running things on the microphone. Jim from Mister DJ was outstanding. We had a live band for cocktail and dinner hour and then switched to DJ after dinner. He was flexible and available all evening to help out with anything we needed while he wasn't playing music and when he was working he was very professional. He played a well rounded mix of songs that kept people dance. He worked with our photographer to help her get the shots she needed. And overall just a pleasure to be around.

The first place I was going to have my wedding closed and we had to change dates last minute. Mister DJ was able to rework his schedule to accommodate our new venue and time.

He kept all of our guests on the dance floor and made sure all our song requests were played. He is very professional and great at his job! Thank you Mister DJ for making our reception great!!

Could not have been happier with Mister DJ!! Our original venue closed a few months after booking it and Mister DJ was able to rebook us to the new venue and date change quickly and without an issue. Every one of our guests commented how well our DJ did at moving the wedding along smoothly without any long breaks in the activities. Our dance floor was full right up to the last dance. Jim was so helpful in setting up the schedule for the evening as we had not planned a wedding in many years and needed guidance. Thank you again Jim!!!!

Jim was absolutely amazing from the ceremony music to the reception! He was extremely nice and accommodating and offered some excellent suggestions for our big day. He was extremely attentive during the reception and his warm, friendly, and upbeat personality made our reception so much fun! Both sides of our family along with all of our friends had a great time. Jim definitely knew how to get the party going and keep it going until the very end! And he really has a gift for reading the crowd to determine what song to play next. Mister DJ's services were PERFECT and we would not recommend anyone else!

Jim is the best! He is so fun, entertaining and flexible. My reception had some surprise performances and he made everything come together. The dance floor was the place to be and it united everyone from our youngest guest at 2 years old to our eldest guests. I love how helpful he was when going over the music. I tend to overplan on details but there were some music choices I forgot and he just made our decisions so easy without any judgement or pressure.

We have nothing but good things to say! We met several DJs at a local bridal show, including Mister DJ, and knew that day we wanted to hire Mister DJ. As soon as we booked our date with them, they stayed in touch, and sent a questionnaire about our reception, asking for important events/times, but more importantly for us, asking what types of music we did and didn't like. When we had been at the bridal show, a different DJ company actually seemed offended that I wanted some say in what music was played at my wedding reception! My fiance (now husband) and I met with our DJ, Jim, a week before the event to go over all details and music and understand our personalities and style. He had a great personality and put us at ease about our big night. The night of our reception, we arrived a tad early to find Jim completely set up, looking sharp, and ready to go. He played our favorite songs during "cocktail hour" and then had the room up and dancing the rest of the night. We were completely happy and received many compliments from guests. We would use them again in a heartbeat and would recommend them without hesitation.

Jim at Mister DJ is the best around!!! We needed a microphone and speakers for our ceremony site that was at a different location than the reception and he made it happen with only a few days notice!! Plus, at our reception our bridal party was hiding in a side room waiting for our big entrance and he brought us our drink of choice from the bar so as not to be seen by the guest... can i just say there was 12 of us..... that is going above and beyond what i ever expected. Mister DJ also provided us with 12 purple uplights for the reception room (at a fraction of the price of other vendors) , which made the room absolutely beautiful. Mister DJ rocked the house for our wedding! We had them pipe music outside for our cocktail hour on the deck at Sunset Harbor, then everyone moved upstairs into the main reception room. The sound was clear and there was no "dead air". Everything flowed smoothly throughout the entire evening. We had them stay on for an additional 2 hours for our After Party. This is the company to hire for your reception!!

Mister DJ was most professional and coordinated my daughter's reception events to allow a smooth flow of all the planned parts and allowed guests to have a wonderful time. Jim Knecht worked with my daughter and her fiancee to utilize the music they had selected to provide a wonderful experience. We could not have been happier. I was calling Jim up until the day before the wedding with song ideas and they all were played. Jim was not just a DJ but a coordinator. He made the whole night flow. He discreetly came to find my husband so we could get dinner first then after we ate advised us to go table to table and mingle with our guests and just kept us on track all night without being obtrusive. We had so many guests dancing from our 4 year old flower girl to our 70 year old family members and then telling us how great the music was. Perfect variety. I was told by a guest that they were glad he was not one of those "cheesy" dj's that talked all night. Jim made our wedding day amazing. Thanks. Worth every penny

Jim,
You were awesome. I loved the way you stalled so that I could run downstairs for the Marriage License. :) Also the added "love circle" at the end made it so very special and got everyone, even the non-dancers to participate. You were right on, when I was just lost in the "what to do next" moments. We cried, we laughed, we sang, and we danced. I would recommend you for anyone that I hear that would need your awesome services. My Real Estate company has a Christmas party every year at my Broker's house. I am recommending you to her as well. Jim was awesome for our 11/7 event. He did a great job of checking with us throughout the night and making sure we were good with what was next and if we wanted to participate in a "Mission Impossible" photo/music shoot (Which I totally recommend!). We had a great night and he did a fantastic job of keeping great music going and was always mood appropriate. We did make a couple changes after our initial meet and Jim was quick to get back with me to confirm these changes. Very professional and very personal. Jim was outstanding!!! Jim set up our ceremony music outdoors and reception music indoors without us even knowing it. Everything flowed perfectly. We were so happy to see so many people on the dance floor and they are still talking about how great the music was. Many times throughout the night Jim had to track us down to make sure we were ready for what was next, he went above and beyond. Jim knows how to talk to the crowd and get the party started. Meeting with Jim was a breeze. Always available when we called the office and had great suggestions when we needed them. We highly recommend Jim for any occasion.

Jim with Mister DJ was very professional and lead the reception perfectly. We had a balcony and after the first dance Jim announced for my husband and I to look up above and notice all our friends and family up there. It was a perfect way to make them feel involved and recognized as we were in our own world at that moment. We had a few minor changes last minute which were incorporated throughout the night with no problems at all. The music was exactly perfect for our group. All requested songs were played and after observing our group, Jim played music he thought we'd all enjoy. EVERYONE was on the dance floor at different times throughout the night. We all danced until we had to leave. This vendor is highly recommended.

His experience is apparent from the time he arrives, keeping the flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception moving steadily throughout the night. I've been to several weddings where D.J.'s spend the evening promoting their own business, play too many games that scare guests off, or act more like a radio D.J.

What I loved most about Jim with Mister D.J. is that I hardly knew he was there... he just played great music, kept the flow going, had fun, and always had my best interest in mind.

He traveled all the way to Orlando (S.R. 535) from Daytona, so I would say is flexibility is above 5 stars! Cost was fair, especially in relation to the Orlando market. Also, his responsiveness via e-mail to changes in the schedule, pronunciation of names and what to wear to the event was incredible.

I would recommend Mr. D.J. to any bride out there who wants to be worry free about their entertainment. He truly made our wedding a very special and memorable event.

Not living close to my destination wedding in Port Orange, I was nervous about choosing DJ's, Photographers, etc. Jim at Mister DJ Entertainment along with the staff walked me through everything from beginning to end. Jim is an awesome DJ for any event but especially for weddings. Lots of people, even myself are worried about having a DJ because sometimes they can be really corny. He is the BEST. He kept everything on schedule and got the crowd up on the dance floor, even my Grandma! Jim and his staff are great!

Jim did a nice job during our reception. He read the crowd nicely and provided good transitions between events. He also kept me (the bride) informed about when things would happen well in advance. Very professional.

Very professional!! I did not have to worry about a THING during our reception. John handled everything and made sure everyone was having a great time. He could tell when people were not into a song selection, and moved on to something else. Respected our wishes in regards to song selections. I'm so glad I went with them!
