Beautiful!

Thanks again for making our wedding so special. Miriam played at my parents wedding as well as ours, and it was so beautiful to keep that in tradition. Thanks again!

Celebration of Life

Miriam provided harp music for my wife's Celebration of Life. Miriam played as the guests arrived. It was a wonderful addition to the Celebration and everyone thought it was perfect for the occasion. There were many musicians present and they all agreed that Miriams skills were top notch. Miriam quickly followed up on all correspondence. I would definitely use Miriam again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for your event.

Beautiful experience!!

I’m so happy that I decided to book Miriam for our wedding on November 18th. Miriam played beautifully and learned a song of my choice for me to walk down the aisle. We received so much positive feedback from the guests. Miriam is very organized, thorough and is very kind. I will definitely book Miriam for future events!

Event Coordinator that worked with Miriam

Miriam was professional and flexible even when the ceremony did not start on time. She provided elegant music for the guests as they waited and even played during cocktail hour as well. A great addition to a wedding or event!

Yes, you want a harpist – Miriam to be clear.

Miriam was so helpful in selecting songs to play at our wedding. We set up a call to determine what we wanted played and when. She had so much patience with us as we listened to song A then B then C and what about A again? She had great suggestions for the ceremony music, and made me feel at ease for not wanting "Here Comes the Bride" as my song. She played the ceremony, cocktail hour and another hour into dinner. I would highly recommend working with Miriam.

Elegance + romantic music

Guests raved about Miriam's harp music at our daughter's wedding at the Columbus Museum of Art. Miriam was super flexible, responsive and collaborative during the planning. She recommended adding a flute -- given the venue wedding size. The harp-flute duo provided beautiful music and a touch of elegance that made the day even more special and memorable!

Harpist for Ceremony and Cocktail Hour

Miriam and her music are absolutely beautiful!

Miriam and her music are absolutely beautiful!! I had tears in my eyes the first time hearing her music and knew we had to have her at our wedding. She was easy to work with and made our music unique and special for our wedding. Our guests enjoyed being able to recognize favorite songs and hear them played beautifully by the harp. We had the opportunity to get pictures with Miriam and her harp and in the Brides Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory and was absolutely beautiful. My guests say it was like hearing music in a secret garden. I will definitely be recommending her to others.

A must have at weddings!!!

We absolutely loved having Miriam and Valorie as a flute/harp duo at our fall wedding. They made the entire process very easy and were very pleasant to work with. We received quite the selection of music that we chose from. The music was very elegant and added a special touch to our wedding. Our guests all commented on how they had never been to such an elegant wedding. If you are considering booking them, my husband and I say absolutely 100% do it. You will be thankful you did. A masterful performance!

We engaged Miriam and Valorie to play a harp & flute duet for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and could not have been happier that we did. Miriam was wonderful in the planning process, engaging us to discover our tastes and ultimately helping us to plan a wonderful playlist that suited our style. Their performance was a work of art, having played beautifully despite the outdoor ceremony in high heat. Our videographer told us after that he was so captivated and amazed by their rendition of one particular song during the cocktail hour that he forgot to pick up his camera! Having these talented artists play on our wedding day was one of our best decisions, and we could not recommend them highly enough for any event.

Great Experience!

I recently worked with Miriam for my clients wedding December of 2019. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is great with communication and asked all of the right questions. She was so kind throughout the entire planning process. Miriam provided music during the ceremony and cocktail hour and it was simply wonderful - all of the guests loved listening to her play. Beautiful live music

We had a phone meeting with Miriam to discuss the music that she would be playing during our Ceremony and our cocktail hour. She was so professional and had great suggestions. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt, professional and I know she added such a sweet touch of romance to our very modern venue. Can't recommend her enough! Live music during a ceremony and cocktail hour is the way to go :)

Amazing choice!

Miriam is a class act! From the first consultation through the day of the wedding (and beyond!) she was almost like a second planner. She helped with music selection, and ceremony planning, even playing multiple options on piano over speaker phone to help me decide. She had great ideas and was very attentive to details. You can tell she has done this before and knows what she is doing! I booked the harp-flute duo because that’s the coolest thing ever. I mean, really! Talk about a memorable entrance. They even helped me book an organist while our church is without one and so I ended up with a trio! My only regret was not being able to sit in the church for pre-ceremony music since I received so many compliments on their sound. Thank you Miriam (Et al.)!! :)

Excellent Experience

Miriam was excellent from day 1. She helped us tremendously with our music selections and had great ideas. I wanted one song in particular played and she even ordered it and learned the piece before our wedding day, which I appreciated so much. I would absolutely recommend her for your wedding. Wonderful, generous, and communicative!

Miriam played the music for my wedding ceremony last month. In preparation, we emailed back and forth quite a bit, shared a few phone calls, and at the beginning of the process, we met in person to discuss what the ceremony would look like and what types of music would be best for the ceremony's prelude.

At all times, Miriam was super generous with her time. I made some custom requests for my processional music, and as she was learning one of the songs I requested, she called me and played it for me live on the piano. It was just really wonderful, in the midst of all the wedding planning, to hear something so beautiful and to know that the music for my ceremony was going to be so lovely.

At the ceremony, the harp music was more than I hoped for. It filled the room with warmth, and Miriam's skill on the harp is, of course, superb. I'm so glad I was able to have her there on the day.

Thank you for everything, Miriam! It was such a wonderful experience.

Excellent experience - very talented!

We used Miriam Brown as the harpist for our daughter's wedding at Jorgensen Farms, Oak Grove. Everything about it was perfect but the harp music and style lended a special accent to this venue. Miriam was attentive to what the bride wanted, very professional and a great value for the price. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a fantastic harp experience for your special event.

Miriam was great to work with and played beautiful music for our wedding! We live out of state and are three hours behind, but it was easy to set up a time to talk on the phone; Miriam was very flexible with our schedules. On the phone she played us different songs she thought we might like to consider. It was very helpful to have her recommend songs we might like during the ceremony; all the options she suggested were lovely so it was just a matter of choosing what we liked the best. After things fell through with other musicians, Miriam really saved the day! She was so easy to work with, sampled music for us to hear over the phone and even learned new songs that were special to me. Miriam was a wonderful addition to our ceremony at the Statehouse in Ohio! Her harp sounded beautiful in the Rotunda. From the beginning, I knew that I had picked the right harpist. She was so helpful when picking the music especially since we live in Texas! Miraim Weber Brown came to play at our outside venue on 9/23/17. She was wonderful, so easy to work with! She was professional and understanding of all our requests. Miraim can really help pick out music and make everything sound so perfect. We worked with her to choose some classic wedding music, pop songs, and Disney songs. All the different genres you wouldn't think would necessarily go together but with Miraim's help she picked a song order that sounded so peaceful and elegant. She is very responsive and can learn most songs. How she does business really isn't business to her because she is so happy to help and so passionate about playing for everybody's enjoyment! We definitely recommend her services, to add that something extra to your wedding ceremony!

Miriam added an elegant touch and beautiful music to my daughter's wedding ceremony. She also entertained guests during cocktail hour. She offered traditional and modern music choices and she even learned my daughter's favorite song as she wanted to walk down the aisle to "Part of Your World" from Little Mermaid. She played for almost 2 hours and did an excellent job.

Miriam and her accompanist on the violin did the most amazing job at our wedding! We were so lucky to have found her! Our setting was out in a large open garden and Miriam filled it up with beautiful memories! She was great to work with, always taking the time to write thoughtful emails and helping us along the way! Miriam also worked one on one with a family member to create the most beautiful Our Father song during the ceremony! It was such a special moment for us! When we were deciding on ceremony music, we thought a harpist would be perfect. Miriam was a delight to work with from start to finish. She answered all my questions and was very responsive via email. When it came time to select wedding music, we were a little lost. Miriam was a great help in directing us into great choices for our wedding music during our ceremony. We even received several compliments from guests on our song selections. My biggest fear in hiring a harpist was that it was going to be too quiet in a room full of guests. That was certainly not the case! The harp was plenty loud in the ceremony space and even when everyone was clapping and talking during the recessional I could hear her playing "Here Comes the Sun." I am beyond satisfied with Miriam's services and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a harpist.

We contacted Miriam only a few weeks before our ceremony. She was still able to provide a full consultation and help us pick out music. I loved the harp, as it added a special touch to our ceremony. First of all, the harp is such a beautiful instrument and there's something about it that makes a wedding more elegant and classic so we had to hire a harpist. Miriam was such a joy to work with! She catered to all of our needs musically. She even invited us to her home to listen to her play where we listened to sample songs for the ceremony and cocktail hour. With such a wide range of repertoire anything you request she will personally figure a way to get it!

Miriam was wonderful to work with! As a musician, music was one of the most important parts of the ceremony to me. She was happy to work around my crazy work schedule, and took the time to make sure I had exactly what music I wanted for my ceremony. She worked with me on everything down to the transitions I wanted between songs. She always had a smile and was one of the sweetest people I worked with during the wedding. Miriam played her harp during Preludes at our daughter's Wedding on 9-1-13. Miriam is so very talented, but also great businesswoman! Her website gives a variety of choices, but she also considers songs not on her list, and considers if the flow and compatibility are correct for your venue. Miriam was wonderful to work with. She makes things very easy on a bride and groom by doing her consultation over the phone. The day of the wedding she was very early the day of the wedding to allow herself enough time to set up & very quick to get out after the ceremony. We had the harpist/flutist duo for our outdoor wedding ceremony at Franklin Park Conservatory. The music was beautiful. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Miriam was wonderful to work with. Miriam performed at my daughter's wedding. She was so very helpful before the wedding date through the day of. Miriam arrived before the ceremony and played while our guests were seated (who gave us so many compliments). The music for the wedding party and bride's entrance was beautiful. The exit for the enitre room was just as beautiful. Then Miriam left quietly, not intrusive at all. The whole experience was wonderful, flawless, professional and personal. Miriam took care of everything. All we had to do was show up! I recommend her highly.

We had Miriam Weber Brown play her harp for our daughter's wedding ceremony. When she was growing up in Worthington, our daughter had heard Miriam play at the 55 Restaurant for Sunday brunch many times. She was always fascinated by the harp and enjoyed Miriam’s playing. It was a thrill to meet Miriam again at a bridal show and of course, our daughter wanted Miriam to play at her wedding.
Miriam was so easy and pleasant to work with. Her website provides a very helpful repertoire list to choose from. Since the bride and groom work full-time, the emails and a phone call where Miriam played some pieces they were interested in made it easy to arrange the details that were needed.
On the day of the event, Miriam played beautifully and helped to make the day extra special. Our guests loved the harp playing for the prelude, and the soft harp playing during the Rose Ceremony was especially moving. Everyone was complimentary about the harp and what it added to the ceremony.
Miriam is a true professional, an excellent harpist, and wonderful to deal with. We heartily recommend her to anyone whose event would be elevated by some beautiful harp music.

Miriam was so sweet and awesome to work with! To be honest, my husband and I weren't crazy about the idea of a harp at first. It was what my mom wanted and booked so we went with it. She worked so hard to learn some very contemporary songs that I had my heart set on for the ceremony. I think my husband and I were both surprised how much we loved the music - we got numerous compliments on ceremony music as well! Miriam has such a wonderful talent for playing the harp. The ceremony music that she played was beautiful and added an elegant touch to the ceremony. She is such a wonderful person to work with. I requested a certain piece of music that I wanted to have played at my wedding. The music that I had requested was not in her normal play list, so she took the time to learn the piece in order to play it for the wedding ceremony. Miriam was so helpful in assisting us make song selections for each part of our daughters wedding. She even provided formal music information to give our printer for programs. We booked Miriam for our rehearsal dinner and couldn't have been happier. She was so nice and professional and really made our event unique and special. She played a huge variety of musical genres from modern to 80s pop to swing. It was really cool to hear some of those songs on a harp. It was memorable and unexpected and added that something special to the night! She was also very flexible with what she could play, allowing us to choose the songs we wanted.

Mrs. Brown was wonderful. The music was great. I decided on a harpist pretty much last minute and found her online. She was very flexible, we communicated through email and phone calls becuase we were unable to meet in person. She is reasonably priced, the lowest in Columbus that I found. Miriam was a pleasure to work with! She was easy to get in touch with and went above and beyond during the planning process. She called our ceremony coordinator to find out the layout of the place and make sure the harp would sound good (rather than having me do it). She also emailed the pastor with some questions so that I would not have to take more time to do it. We spoke on the phone to plan the music for the ceremony and she played several selections. She was open to my ideas as well and we ended up choosing a song from my favorite movie to be played during the sand ceremony, which came out beautifully.
