  Before planning any part of our wedding we immediately reached to Mir Anwar Studios and booked them for our wedding! Mir’s vision and creativity are unparalleled and he captured each of our events with such attention to detail.   Mir made our nikaah & valima photo session so comfortable & enjoyable! My husband doesn't like taking photos but Mir was so helpful & guided us throughout the entire session. He took amazing pictures; we were so impressed! We were looking for someone to take traditional & beautiful pictures of us & he did just that! He's professional & very talented. We're so glad we chose him to cover our special days. My husband & I are planning on having a reception in the near future & will definitely be choosing him as our photographer again!

  I knew I wanted to get Mir Anwar Photography even before I got to know my husband! So when it came time to look for a photographer I knew exactly who to call. Upon a quick review of Mir's portfolio, it's not hard to see why he is one of the most well sought after photographers, so we were that much more excited to find that he was available for our shoot. Sometimes photoshoots can be a little awkward, but Mir made us feel comfortable and getting great shots just seemed to come naturally. While it does take a little while to receive your photos (turn around time was in accord with contract) it was absolutely clear that the photos were well worth the wait! I would definitely recommend him to friends and family, and I look forward to having him capture our next memorable event!

  The only part of wedding planning that was easy, was working with Mir Anwar. I searched for the perfect photographer for weeks until I ran across Mir Anwar Photography. He was very quick and professional in contacting us. Although he maintained his professionalism the entire time we worked together, Mir was more like a friend to us. He traveled with us to Puerto Rico for our engagement shoot and went above and beyond to provide us with memorable photos. We started early in the morning, traveled through a rainforest, visited many tourist areas of San Juan and continued to shoot after sunset. Can't ask for a better photographer than that! My wedding would not have been the same had Mir Anwar not photographed the events. His talent, artistic photography, friendliness, professionalism and ease to work with made for the perfect wedding vendor. I would recommend Mir Anwar to any couple looking for a wedding photographer!

  As soon as I got engaged, I knew I wanted Mir Anwar to photograph my wedding festivities! Amazing would be an understatement to describe the end result. I absolutely love my pictures! Each event was captured beautifully!!!!! He is incredibly easy to work with, putting me and my husband at complete ease while doing our portrait shots. Professional, creative and immensely talented! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I cannot wait to have him photograph future events for me and my family!

  This review is much delayed but Mir was my wedding photographer and he was just amazing!! I chose him because of his unique view of the art and it stood out to me. He did such a great job on our pictures....everyone loved it!! Can't thank him enough for his patience and professionalism throughout the whole day! He was on time and made use of every important points of our wedding day. I would recommend him a 100%!!

  Mir is wonderful we got our engagement shots taken by him..he is super creative, innovative and professional. My now husband and I are not exactly very fond of taking pictures so were definitely not the best posers or creative ..Mir was super funny and helped us loosen up infront of the camera and again he is super creative with the shots..we got our teaser within two weeks and they were absolutely phenomenal we couldnt have asked for anything better!

  Mir did the photos for my wedding on 10/7/12 at Eolia Mansion in Harkness State Park in Waterford, CT. He was a pleasure to work with and the creativity he brings to the table cannot be matched. Mir clearly views photography as an art, and we're so grateful to have had someone capture our day with that much appreciation. My husband HATES getting his picture taken, so we skipped engagement photos as a compromise for tolerance on our wedding day. Due to Mir's easygoing nature and sense of humor, my husband actually seemed to enjoy the time we took to take pictures. That is priceless as far as I'm concerned. We are thrilled with his work and would HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone interested.

  My husband and I decided to re-shoot our wedding portraits. We came to Mir based on a recommendation from another friend. He was FANTASTIC to work with. He got an idea of what we were looking for and then he gave us suggestions and asked us if we wanted to do something creative, such as shoot at an abandoned mansion. His enthusiasm during the shoot was contagious and we actually had so much fun during the shoot. He made sure to get the shots that I wanted AND he kept us moving and trying new angles. We walked away with classic shots and some phenomenal artistic shots that are now being enlarged and soon to be hanging on our walls as art. He is a great value and my only regret is that we were not introduced to him before the wedding otherwise we would have used him for all of our events!

  Best photographer I could have imagined for my 3 day wedding affair. Kept everyone calm, patient with guests, amazing to work with, very passionate about his work.
  
  All my vendors loved working with him, and continue to ask more about his work. My family,extended family and friends continue to rave about Mir!
  
  Pictures I have got thus far have been awesome! Can't wait to work with him again for future family weddings!!

  Every decision in a wedding is very crucial and important. Photography for me was HUGE! Mir was very friendly and easy going when we discussed all the details. The day of we didn't even know he was there and made us feel at ease when needed. Every picture is unique and he will put a preview or slideshow on his page highlighting the big day.
  
  We had a great experience with Mir and would recommend his services, which we have to many already.

  Mir is the most talented photographer we have had the pleasure of working with and we were beyond thrilled to have him capture our wedding. He was extremely respectful and professional with our families, calling them aunty and uncle when necessary. And even went beyond his duties of photographing to gave us a hand whenever needed. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an amazing photographer for their special event.

  Mir Anwar has been the worst part of our wedding. He is unbelievably unprofessional. We tried everything possible to reason with this man and get our albums but HE STOLE OUR MONEY AND WE FINALLY HAD TO FILE A COMPLAINT IN ARLINGTON GENERAL DISTRICT COURT, VA (can look up to verify).
  
  Many people have asked us about him after our wedding and unfortunately he left us with not much we could say about him. We had really liked his personality when we met him and even invited him out to our after-wedding party, but he has shown nothing but disrespect and unprofessionalism and above all has stole our money. To list a few things:
  1) He insisted we mail him a check overnight so he gets paid upfront.
  2) He never came through for our engagement session and did not return our calls to inform us he would not be coming into DC before the wedding.
  3) He did not return any calls and would not email back until after multiple attempts each and every time.
  4) He kept posting our wedding pictures up but telling us that they were not ready for us!
  5) He told us our pictures were mailed multiple times over the course of a month, would not give us a confirmation # - we checked with USPS and Fedex and they were not.
  6) We received our pictures at about the 3 month mark - but he insists its 4-6 weeks
  7) Albums were ordered over 3 months ago and he claims they havent been "processed".
  
  If you are hiring him for the most memorable day of your life - think twice. Worse than losing your money is the amount of STRESS and PAIN and SUFFERING you will go throw as you try to recover memories from the most important day of your life. He will constantly make excuses for MONTHS of delay. We really trusted him at first, and did not realize that all this time he had been LYING TO US.
  
  The best part is there is no “we” in his company, he is the sole person running the show and pretends to have others involved – its nothing but a sham.
