Wedding Experience
My now husband and I just got married there! I worked with Becca, the hotel coordinator from start to finish and it was literally the best experience I have ever had.
From the beginning of deciding what food we wanted, table cloths, dj, etc, Becca was there EVERY step of the way and ALWAYS reassured me that everything would be great and answered any questions I may have had. The price of everything was so so worth it!
Come wedding day - it was flawless and amazing! Better than I ever imagined! Becca was there the during setting up the reception hall and on the day of the wedding. The food - everyone at the wedding absolutely RAVED about how amazing the food was! It was to die for and a meal everyone will remember!
The staff - A++! Everyone was so so attentive, kind, polite, informative and always checked in on not only the Bride and Groom but the guests as well. The care and compassion they showed everyone was just beautiful. Especially my 3 year old son. He loved talking to the staff about his toys and he really captured the hearts of them as well. It was so amazing to see.
The bartender for our reception was amazing as well. She had her own little party going - dancing to the music. It was so great!
Needless to say, I think everyone, staff included had a fantastic time which makes me so so happy! I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! Especially if you want to get married here! Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed!

Lorensen Wedding
Our special day at Minneapolis Marriott Northwest was truly beyond our wildest dreams. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from the initial planning stages to the end of the reception. The venue itself provided a stunning backdrop for our celebration, and the team's professionalism and attention to detail made everything run smoothly.
Despite a few minor hiccups that arose, such as a delay in response to some of our inquiries, overall, the communication with the staff was effective. They worked diligently to address any concerns we had and were accommodating in making adjustments to meet our needs.
One standout positive aspect was the exquisite food provided by the catering team. Our guests raved about the delicious cuisine, and the presentation was impeccable. It added an extra touch of elegance to our special day.
Additionally, the on-site coordination team at Minneapolis Marriott Northwest was exceptional. They ensured that every aspect of the event flowed seamlessly and that our vision was brought to life. Their expertise and dedication were truly appreciated and helped make our wedding day unforgettable.
In conclusion, we are grateful for the wonderful experience we had at Minneapolis Marriott Northwest. Despite a few minor bumps along the way, the professionalism, attention to detail, and overall service provided by the team made our wedding day perfect in every way. -

Amazing venue
Everything turned out beautifully, even if there were a few snags. We recently tied the knot at Minneapolis Marriott Northwest, and overall, it was a memorable experience.
When it came to the service, the staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring our requests were met with a friendly demeanor. Throughout the planning process, they were responsive and quick to address any concerns that arose, making the entire journey smoother for us.
While there were a few minor hiccups along the way, such as some issues with communication regarding specific details, the team at Minneapolis Marriott Northwest handled them professionally and worked to rectify them promptly.
On the big day, the venue looked stunning, thanks to the efforts of the setup team. The ambiance created was truly magical, and our guests were impressed by the beautiful decor and layout.
Despite the small challenges we faced, we appreciate the hard work and dedication of the team at Minneapolis Marriott Northwest in making our wedding day special. It's these little details that truly make a difference and contribute to a memorable celebration.

Love, love, loved the Marriott! Fell in love with the venue walking in. We wanted a hotel venue in the Northwest suburbs of Minneapolis and this was a perfect fit! Even my fiancé said, I didn't have a vision but now I do and this was it. Prices are very reasonble and well within our budget. Loved the food options for the big day. The staff was excellent! They have three event rooms to choose from to host your big day. Hotel rooms are all suites for your guests - which we loved! Plus the presidential suite you get on your wedding night is unreal! Highly recommend checking them out if you are wanting an elegant, classic wedding! -

A great place for a winter wedding. All the team members that I worked with were so friendly and responsive. They helped me with any snags that came up during the wedding process and were willing to help accommodate extra requests that family members had. Heather and Virginia are so wonderful. I wanted everything to be centrally located and the Marriott was the best location for what I needed! All the guests commented on how beautiful the venue was! Awesome experience. As a plus, everyone loved the food too! -

My now husband and I were looking or a venue that could handle the ceremony as well as the reception. We did not want our guests driving from one location to another. The Marriott Northwest checked all those boxes for us. Our wedding coordinator Virginia W., her team and everyone we worked with at the Marriott was an absolute joy to work with. Very accommodating, kind, personable and professional. The food at our cocktail hour and reception was excellent. The hotels rooms were clean, large and very nice! We highly recommend the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest for any of your event or wedding needs. -

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Marriott Northwest. Heather, Virginia and Lynn were top notch, along with other hotel staff -- room service, bartenders, servers, front desk, etc. When we asked for specific items to be brought up to our suite, it was delivered within a matter of minutes. The food was excellent, rooms were beautiful, and our overnight guests raved about all of these things as well. Many guests told us our wedding was the best wedding they've ever attended. I hope a friend of our has a wedding there so we can go back for another wonderful wedding experience! -

From the first day I visited I knew this was going to be where I would get married the hotel has so many different ballrooms that you can pick that fits whatever size wedding. We got married July 30th 2016 and it truly was the best day of our lives, Virginia, and the staff is absolutely amazing to work with! Thank you again for an amazing day! -

Our wedding reception was held on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 and my wife and I, Emilie, could not have been happier with our choice or with Virginia!! She was incredibly attentive and responded to every question and concern very promptly.
My wife and I and our parents all had, in my opinion, a massive amount of detail and general questions. Virginia and her staff could not have been better or more patient with us and that was one thing we really were looking for in a venue. She made the entire day and planning process flow effortlessly and she went out of her way on several occasions the past year or so to make sure she got us the answers we were looking for.
Virginia left nothing but positive impressions in our mind and the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest was phenomenal in every facet; I would not hesitate to recommend this venue in the future to any couple looking to book a reception in the northwest Minneapolis suburbs!!!

This is our second family wedding. Our oldest daughter had hers at a Country Club / Golf Course. It was pretty, it was nice, and a great place to take pictures. But we were happy we went to the Marriott. They gave us options for music, Cake, and many menu items. I would highly recommend spending the extra on the bar and food before the reception starts. The guests were able to get rides from the hotel to the Church. The reception room was beautiful. The staff was top notch. There were plenty of rooms for the guests to stay in both before and after the reception. Everyone that attended commented on how beautiful the reception was. -

To be honest when we began our search for wedding venues we were quite skeptical thinking we would be nickel and dimed for every little thing with little quality...this was our experience until we met Heather Campbell at Marriott Northwest in Brooklyn Park, MN. From our very first phone conversation to multiple questions, to guest accommodations and soo much more, Heather and her team have been timely, responsive, empathetic and have really gone above and beyond to make sure our experience is over the top exceptional. Thank you so much Heather for all of your help. We are thrilled to be working with you and would strongly encourage other couples to get in touch with you as we know they will be treated with the very best care. We worked with Virginia Wasmund, and she was absolutely fantastic!!! She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a beautiful and fun reception. She promptly answered all of our questions and helped us consider things we hadn't thought of on our own. The fireside room and lobby were amazing and all of our guests loved all the space. Our guests also booked rooms with the hotel and they had no issues at all. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your wedding reception venue. -

We had our November 1st reception at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest. Cathy was super responsive and very helpful. She did everything she could to make sure that we were well taken care of, and we were. It was so nice to not have to worry about having someone to meet the DJ, or set out escort cards, or meet the florist. It was all taken care and all we had to do was enjoy our day. The food was excellent and we got a complimentary room and breakfast the next. Very pleased with our experience. -

Our daughter, Diane, had her wedding reception at the Marriott Northwest in Minneapolis. Her wedding planner, Cathy was absolutely wonderful. She answered all her questions, took care of all the details. When Cathy brought my sister and I to see the room after it was decorated and before the mea,l it took my breath away-it was so tastefully and elegantly done. The meal was great, and the special room rates they provided for the guests was such a bargain and a welcome and appreciated surprise for family that traveled from in and out of the area. I would highly recommend the Marriott Northwest to anyone who is planning a special event. We could not have been more pleased. -

We knew the minute we walked through the front doors of the hotel that this was the perfect venue for our wedding. Every interaction with the hotel staff (especially Cathy Dunn) was outstanding. They took care of us and kept us informed and on track throughout the entire process. Our main goal was to have people come and have fun and celebrate with us. After months of planning and preparation I have only one word to explain our experience.......MAGICAL! As you get closer and closer to your event you start to realize that perfection is out of the question and ALL things will not go as you expected. Cathy did everything in her power to make sure that the pressure of that day was taken off of our shoulders so that we could quit worrying and have fun! I had many people travel to our wedding and the hotel was able to accommodate everyone. The suites are modern and spacious.....my friends kept referring to their room as an "apartment". Cathy is amazing at bringing a bride's wedding dreams come true! -

Sarah and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Marriott Northland, we have never in our life had so much attention to detail with things. From the smallest thing of the candy on the table to the way the flowers were suppose to be a surprise for my bride. They made sure that everything to what I wanted, and they made that extra effort to make sure you had what you wanted at and in the reception. The wait staff was very attentive to the needs of the wedding party, and other people in the wedding.
We could not have the breakfast because of the college I began the day after our wedding so they gave us a beautiful lunch with the upmost outstanding service. They are not just there to do a job, but they make you feel like a part of there family. It is such a wonderful feeling.
They make sure you have everything, and if you want to have a wonderful wedding and reception, and have to worry about nothing the Marriott Northland is the BEST you will get.

I could not have asked for a better wedding reception than the one organized and put on by Cathy and her amazing team at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest! Everything was exactly how I always imagined it would be. The venue itself is quite beautiful, and all the food, from hors d'oeuvres to dessert, was delicious. I was able to book the cake (we did cupcakes) and table linens through them as well, so I didn't have to worry about paying those two additional vendors. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Minneapolis Marriott Northwest every time. -

We held a rehearsal dinner event on February 14th and a wedding breakfast on February 15th. Both events were conducted by the Marriott staff with the highest level of professional and attention to detail. Cathy Dunn handled all of the scheduling, selections and pricing with great recommendations and was extremely responsive to all of our needs. Sue was the banquet captain the night of the dinner and the entire staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive to all of our needs. The Hereford Filets and Chocolate Crunch Cake were incredible. Our compliments to the Chef for a very memorable meal! Tau managed the breakfast and we couldn't have asked for better service. The entire staff at the Marriott was extremely professional and friendly. Our guests all commented on what a great experience they had during their stay because of the facility but most of all because of the Marriott staff. My wife and I would highly recommend Cathy Dunn and her team to anyone planning a significant meeting or event. They are the best! -

This was the first wedding in our family and Marriott, Cathy Dunn and the entire staff made this wedding everything we wanted and more. Everyone was friendly and helpful. When someone asked me what we would do different, I had to pause and think, absolutely nothing! All our guest said the wedding was fantastic and had a great time. What more could we ask for! -

Thank you Marriott Northwest for a wonderful experience at our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception January 4th. Cathy Dunn and her staff were very attentive to our needs and accomodating to our requests. Every staff member was dedicated to making sure our event was a success and consistantly greeted us with a smile and extended a welcoming and helpful hand. Cathy provided excellent advice and guidance through the entire process and made the planning chores a fun and exciting time for our families. The hotel was just a few minutes from the wedding location in downtown Minneapolis and also convenient for our guests, close to the Shoppes of Arbor Lakes. They had ample parking close to the doors, which was appreciated in the deep freeze weather. The grand ballroom was beautiful. We also chose the Marriott as the location for many of the wedding photos as there were so many unique sites in the building for staging them. More than half of our 275 guests were also overnight guests at the hotel. We received many comments from them on how nice their accomodations were. Thanks again to all of the staff for making our event so personal, beautiful and special! -

Thank you so much for making our experience about as perfect as it could be. We knew right from our initial 1 hour tour that we were going to have our reception at the Marriott Northwest. While some friends had mentioned that their reception planning was difficult and stressful, ours was pain-free and when a concern came up, ours requests were welcomed and a resolution was quickly made.
It is quite obvious that Cathy's experience and customer service skills are no less than 5 star.

As this was my daughter's wedding, I had the pleasure of working with Cathy and her staff while helping in the decorating of the reception room. I found them to be extremely helpful, friendly, professional and wanting to see the event be everything we had envisioned it to be. In addition, the hotel suites were amazing and a great value for the price. The food was outstanding; we received many compliments on the meals served. We could not be happier with our experience with the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest! Cathy and Ronda were absolutely fabulous to work with. We had a few different requests that they were always willing to accommodate. I spent so much time emailing them with questions and requests and they always responded right away and were helpful. Our cocktail hour and reception were both just stunning!! Their staff set up everything exactly as we had talked about. We received so many compliments on the food and the venue. Truly just a top notch venue and service. I am actually a little sad that it is all over because I really loved my chats and emails with Cathy and Ronda - they were both just great! You truly could not go wrong with your wedding reception at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest. -

Cathy Dunn did a superb job in helping and advising us on the Groom's Dinner for the Cates/Pribula Wedding.
She set up EVERYTHING in advance that took the worry out of it. She is a GREAT asset to your company. The food was superb with the Tuscan Buffet. The server's were very professional. Lynn was exceptional.
The whole weekend was a dream come true. My husband and I were thrilled with hotel, the rooms, the staff, the food- just everything! -

The service provided by the staff at Marriott Minneapolis NW was amazing. We worked directly with Cathy Dunn for catering and event services for both our rehearsal/groom's dinner and wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. Everything was impeccably planned, and set up to our satisfaction. The entire hotel staff was extremely accommodating, and ensured that everything needed was made available. There were minimal minute issues that arose during the entire 3-day stay at the hotel, and all were handled efficiently, quickly and above all professionally. -

We had a great experience with our wedding coordinator, Cathy Dunn. She was very helpful with every step along the way and able to suggest alternatives if and when needed. She was always prompt on returning our calls and emails if we ever had questions and always was pleasant to talk to. As for our wedding day, she made sure everything went smoothly! We had our reception at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest in Brooklyn Park, MN. We used the Minnesota room. It was fabulous. Cathy is the person I dealt with throughout and she was great about answering all my questions as they came up. The staff on the day of the wedding were great and accommodating. The only thing I would have changed is that the block of hotel rooms expired a month before the wedding. I thought that was a little extreme. Overall we were completely satisfied! -

When we walked into the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest when looking at wedding venues, we knew we had found the place. This hotel is absolutely beautiful since the redesign. Cathy was helpful, gracious and wonderful to work with from day one. With our small (62) wedding size, the fireplace room was the perfect space for our intimate party, and our ceremony was held with just our family in one of the presidential suites. My guests couldn't say enough nice things about their rooms, the main lobby area of the hotel, and of course our reception space. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, they took care of the decorations and planning just perfectly. It made for a very stress free day for me! The food was AMAZING! Weeks later I have friends complementing the wonderful dinner, especially the BBQ Blue Cheese Salad dressing! Our banquet captain, Sue, was a true professional. She kept in touch with my husband and I throughout the night, but made sure everything ran smoothly without out any invention from us. From the décor, to the food, to their assistance getting gifts to our suite, top to bottom the staff at Minneapolis Marriott Northwest made our wedding day absolutely perfect! I would recommend anyone to hold a wedding or any event at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest! -

Our reception was better than we could have imagined! Every hotel employee we encountered from our event planner to the desk clerks, bartender, servers, and waitress at the brunch the next morning were fabulous. This was a second wedding for both of us so we wanted a smaller more intimate event. Our reception was early in the day and it took place in the Fireside room. It was a cozy venue which was beautiful and the perfect size for a smaller event. The food was delicious. The compliments were flying from all guests. After our reception was over, we continued the party up in the Presidential Suite. We would highly recommend the Mpls. Marriott Northwest to any interested party. They will help you plan an unforgettable event. -

The Marriott Northwest was a great venue. The event planner (Cathy) was a treasure - answered every question, provided loads of suggestions and support, responded quickly to phone calls, and was genuinely caring. The venue was beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious and no guest left hungry. The wait staff and bartender were attentive, polite, and skilled. We had our wedding on July 27th in the Hennepin Ballroom, and I must say it went by too quickly because we were having so much fun. My husband and I had such a great experience with the Marriot Northwest. As planning gets stressful, the staff at the Marriot assured me that all would go as planned. And it did!! As soon as we arrived to the Marriot on our big day we were greeted with a very responsive and helpful staff. They were constantly checking in to make sure that everything that we wanted was taken care of. I did not expect that! I could not have asked for a better experience! -

The Marriott was easy to work with. They let us adjust the buffet menu to our liking. Would definitely recommend! The presidential suite was complementary for two nights. The tiffany suite for the bridal party to get ready in was adorable. Its a wonderful hotel with amazing staff. -

The venue is beautiful, great locations/opportunities for photos, and the food is magnificent!!
Wendy, the catering manager went well above the call of duty, however prior to her stepping in, we were passed around several times since there seems to be a high catering sales turnover. The day of staff were extremely friendly and professional.
I was most disappointed with the value. Once you sign the contract, I felt like they revealed all of the "nickle and diming." So please pay attention and get everything in writing!!-
