    Great stay

    The coordinator was very helpful throughout the process giving us many options for our stay. They were able to easily facilitate passing out a guest card with shuttle information and restaurant options in the area. The bar staff was great as we had a post wedding get together there and they were super friendly and accommodating! It was great knowing everything was being taken care of and we could focus on relaxing. The ramp did take a bit to navigate to but the signage was excellent and loading was easy out front of the hotel. Would totally recommend for an event or just a downtown hotel stay.

    Wonderful experience

    We booked the Marriott Minneapolis city center for our wedding and all of our guests ended up staying here as well. They provided the best group rate for a 4 star hotel and even though the service industry as a whole continues to be understaffed, the staff here went above and beyond to ensure our weekend was special. Every request was handled with professionalism and efficiency. They delivered a high top chair for makeup application, made special concessions to give us a connecting room, worked with our guests to meet their individual needs, passed our our welcome bags, delivered on all of the things we earned and Natasha, the manager, even came up personally to walk me down the service elevator so I could bypass any guests. Everyone was wonderful, but especially Natasha and George! Highly recommend this hotel which is central to everything and the staff who put in doubles (with a smile) to create a great experience!

    Wedding Hotel & Sunday brunch

    Natasha and her team were nothing short of AMAZING! They were very organized, responsive and professional. They made our wedding weekend stay and breakfast a dream.

    Unbeatable Service - Beautiful Hotel!

    We used the Minneapolis Marriott City Center for our wedding room block in August of 2020. The team we worked with was truly amazing, and they flawlessly helped us navigate a variety of challenges (not hotel related) both during the planning process and our stay. We had the privilege of working directly with Heather S., the Director of Event Planning and Operations. She was truly in a league of her own when it came to customer service, responsiveness, creative flexibility, and cultivating an overall fantastic experience.

    Not only did we use this venue for our room block, but also for the rehearsal dinner. They were able to provide us a great indoor/outdoor space that allowed our guests to socially distance while still enjoying the delicious drinks and food station dinner.

    Overall I would highly recommend this venue for wedding blocks and rehearsal dinners. The newly renovated space/rooms were fantastic, the service was unbeatable, and central downtown location was perfect (especially for Nicollet Island Pavilion!)

    First, thank you! We did not have a single guest say anything but compliments about their room and the accommodations during our wedding weekend. We had an amazing time: we loved the M lounge to catch up with our out of town guests, the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about local dining and delivery options, and assisted our guests in every way imaginable. On the morning of the wedding, the concierge confirmed with us our wedding reception location, guest shuttle services, and other details so that they could assist any of our wedding guests. By far our favorite part was the ability for online room block booking, this was the first time I had ever seen a room block with online booking, and our guests absolutely loved it! It was convenient for them and us as we were able to provide a direct link on our wedding website. In addition, as the bride, I was able to track which of our guests had booked a room at my own convenience. This allowed me to send polite reminders to our guests from out of town to ensure they booked their room on time. Thank you for being part of our amazing weekend!

    Absolutely wonderful! Our experience with the Marriott was so wonderful. Their customer service was amazing. They were so accommodating with all our requests and made sure we were set up exactly how we needed them to be. They were wonderful interacting with our guests and made sure our guests stay (and our stay) was very warm and welcoming. Blocking off rooms with them was by far the best choice. Especially with such an unbeatable price. We couldn't be happier and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to block rooms for a wedding.

    I will clarify this is by no means cheap, but so worth it especially since your food and bar are taken care of along with the venue. For a downtown venue I found their minimums very reasonable and they have perks that other, pricier and less comfortable venues don't. Being that it is a hotel they blocked rooms for our guests at a discounted price. We were not responsible for paying for rooms not booked, they put them back into circulation if your guests don't book them. Location is awesome, view is great. I received tons of compliments on the food at my wedding, which I must say was even better than it was at the tasting. The event coordinator was on top of everything, the event went smoothly, she answered every question, responded to my every need and last minute changes. We got complimentary mimosas for all the ladies while we were having our hair and makeup done before going to the church. My husband and I got a complimentary two level suite for the night, with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries awaiting us at the end of the reception. Our parents got their rooms upgraded to suites for the same discount price of the regular rooms. The only thing I can say was a bit annoying was waiting for elevators as they are remodeling some and they seem to have a LOT of conventions and meetings there. But I cannot blame them for being busy. Even when I went back to pick up some props three days after my event I found that the concierge that saw me only twice, knew exactly who I was and remembered me by name. I cannot say it enough service was spectacular.

    We had our wedding at the Marriott City Center and it was great! The pricing was amazing compared to all the other downtown Minneapolis venues. We payed under $10K for the venue while for ALL others it was between $15-60K.

    Our events coordinator, Garfield was very helpful and professional. He took us out to breakfast and talked to us about our wedding. Everything was very well planned out and he was very flexible with our needs.

    Garfield was also very responsive. I sent him an email at 3 am on a Saturday morning and I got a response back in 5 minutes.

    They did screw up on a couple of things, but I understand no one is perfect. The mistakes were minor, nothing significant.
