  Wonderful, experienced officiant who creates a beautiful ceremony!

  I highly, highly recommend Maggie if you are looking for an officiant for your wedding. My husband and I struggled with the decision around who to perform our ceremony: most of our friends recently have had friends or family members get ordained online and perform the ceremony, or our religious friends were getting married in churches with a minister. My husband and I aren't religious so that option was out, and we didn't feel like we had the exact right friend or family member to do the ceremony and worried about it feeling too casual. But we were also really afraid of hiring a professional officiant and having it feel impersonal.
  
  Naturally, that meant we put this decision off as long as possible and found ourselves scrambling to hire an officiant 2 months before the wedding. Enter: Maggie! From our first conversation she made us feel so comfortable, and she gave us really helpful starting material to use to craft our ceremony. We admittedly did a heavy edit to add our own personalization and make it feel like "us", but I have no doubt that our ceremony would not have been as moving and meaningful if we had not hired Maggie. On the wedding day itself, Maggie really shined — her speaking presence is AMAZING and she narrated the ceremony beautifully. Hardly a dry eye in the house, and we had so many people tell us it was the most beautiful ceremony they'd ever heard.
  
  I cannot recommend Maggie enough, and thank you Maggie for making our day so special!

  Minister Maggie made us feel like we were talking to someone who genuinely cared about us as a couple. She was calm, kind, and friendly. We did our first meeting via Skype and immediately knew she had to be our officiant. She put us at ease and was the perfect mix of religious officiant with a relaxed tone. She gave us sample wedding outlines and readings and helped us to make our wedding ceremony feel like our own as well. She married us at the Presidio in SF and our ceremony went effortlessly with a joyous and important feeling. Wonderful and reliable choice of officiant!

  We LOVE Minister Maggie and would recommend her to anyone. She listened and let us curate our entire ceremony. She spoke beautifully at the ceremony and has such a calm and wonderful voice. I had many comments from guests on what a wonderful officiant she was. Helpful, kind, punctual, and warm. Thank you Maggie!

  Minister Maggie was really helpful in making suggestions for the ceremony and guided us through the process with great care.   We were very fortune and we know that we made the right choice to have Maggie officiate us. I felt as if Maggie poured a lot of loyalty into her work which shows. She is professional and organized; before our first meeting with her, she had us do “homework.” We filled out paperwork pertaining to our personal lives, how we met, beliefs and family traditions.
  While we met with her to go over the wedding it was a warming and informative experience. She worked with our ideas and encouraged creativity, while also providing material to work from.
  Marriage is a sacred ceremony and it is critical to have an officiant with a blessed and warm hand. Which Maggie is that; Maggie made our ceremony customized in a loving, deep rooted, holistic way. She is in a healthy and loving marriage herself which we feel is essential because this is her work; “Practice what you preach.”

  Wonderful Officiant!

  We worked with Maggie on the ceremony for our wedding last year and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome! We lived in Colorado at the time and Maggie worked with us over Skype to get to know us and get an idea of what we pictured for our ceremony. The ceremony she crafted was absolutely perfect and so beautiful that we were still hearing from our guests months later how much they had enjoyed it. Maggie is very personable and easy-going, and she is a joy to work with. She helped us through the whole process and was always able to answer our questions. We definitely recommend her to anyone in need of an officiant, and thank you Maggie for a beautiful wedding ceremony!

  I would 100% recommend Maggie.

  Maggie was very calming in a fast moving and stressful environment that is wedding planning. We had a nice in person meeting at first, in order to have a better understanding of what we were looking for and how she could support our big day. The initial meeting went well and after comparing to a few other officiants, we decided to go with Maggie. Her idea for us was to write our vows down in a letter form and she would read them on our behalf during the ceremony. She provided constructive feedback during the writing process and when it came time for the big day, it was best that she read the vows, because I would have ended up blubbering too much to be heard clearly by the guests. Once the ceremony was over, she gave us big hugs and said her goodbyes. Out of all the various vendors we worked with, she was so relaxed and calm.

She met with us and with great perception was able to determine the tone and content of our ceremony. She respected our wishes and drafted beautiful vows. I will be forever grateful that she was our officiant.

  Maggie is amazing! She did a fantastic job in ensuring my husband and I felt comfortable with the entire process. On the day of she arrived early and was very kind to me even when I was nervous! She was seamless during the ceremony and we received many compliments on our ceremony!

  Rev. Maggie Beretz was simply amazing to work with for our wedding held at the Clift Hotel on June 6, 2015. Planning our destination wedding from Atlanta, Ga took extra planning and Maggie was truly a God send. She provided us with example vows that were key in helping us draft our own for our wedding. When we met with Maggie during our "vendor trip" to San Francisco, she was very thoughtful and caring in getting to know us. We left our first meeting feeling like we had just met with family. Maggie did not miss a beat during our ceremony...simply perfect and we could not have asked for more. We HIGHLY recommend Maggie!

She gave us plenty of suggestions and examples, and helped us personalize our vows to represent us perfectly. She also made sure to help and support our sweet flower girl during the rehearsal to ensure that she felt comfortable reciting the adorable poem that she had written for us for our ceremony. Maggie was always early for our meetings, rehearsal, and ceremony. Maggie's warmth shone during the ceremony and truly made it heart-felt. If she's available for your wedding date, I highly recommend that you book her asap!

We met with her a couple of times and exchanged several emails before our big day.
