An absolute delight to host the wedding
We held our son's wedding at Minerals Hotel in May 2026, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
I was quite apprehensive going into the wedding weekend because of a difficult experience we had at another resort during our older son's wedding seven years ago. However, Dana was an absolute delight to work with and completely exceeded our expectations.
She consistently went above and beyond to help both our family and our guests. Any issues that arose—and they were only minor—were addressed quickly and professionally. Every event was set up on time, and all of our vendors commented on how wonderful and organized she was to work with.
Dana's assistant, Kaya, was equally amazing. She seemed to be everywhere at once, making sure our kids and their friends had everything they needed. Our children could not stop talking about the care, attention, and kindness that Dana, Kaya, and the entire staff showed them throughout the weekend.
They truly eased our concerns, allowed us to relax, and made what could have been a stressful event completely stress-free. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and professionalism and would highly recommend Minerals Hotel to anyone planning a special event. -

Unforgettable Wedding Reception
We recently had our wedding reception at Minerals Hotel: Sweetgrass Pavilion in Vernon NJ.
From start to finish, it was truly the best possible experience. Dana, our wedding coordinator, did an amazing job communicating throughout the whole process and making sure everything ran as smooth as possible on our wedding night, she is awesome to work with! Throughout the night, the whole Minerals team and the bridal assistant Kaya did a great job in taking care of every detail so that everyone there was taken care of and able to enjoy the night.
When we were looking for a venue, there was not a place that compared to everything Minerals had to offer. The value for what you pay, and having all the resort amenities for us and our guests, we believe is truly unbeatable. For someone looking for an elevated outdoor experience, we highly recommend the Sweetgrass Pavilion. All in all, Minerals Resort did a spectacular job and was a major part in making our wedding the best night of our lives. -

Amazing Wedding Venue - Minerals Hotel, Diamond Ballroom
Minerals Hotel, Diamond Ballroom was the PERFECT venue for our wedding day this past December. We highly recommend having your wedding or event here! It is a one-stop shop where guests are only down the hall from the ballroom making it super convenient.
The food was outstanding, and no guest left hungry! We were able to choose our stations, passed hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, and entrees from a wide selection of options and let me tell you, every single dish was delicious! It was important to my husband and I to try every dish at our wedding. The venue made the accommodation for us to have a private cocktail hour with a spread of all the chosen food dishes. They also let us try all our entrée selections during the reception. All our leftovers were kindly packaged by the venue and placed in the fridge in our hotel room.
The staff is INCREDIBLE. They go above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations. Their attention to detail on the wedding day can’t be matched. They are professional, great with communication, and passionate about making our day and weddings in general perfect.
Rebecca gave us our initial tour of the venue, and her warm, positive energy and the cozy vibes of the hotel made it stand out from other venues. Dana was our wedding coordinator and she was professional, organized, and made sure to make our wedding vision a reality. Kaya the bridal attendant was prepared and ready to jump in wherever needed. Terry the Maître d’ made sure the reception went smoothly!
I’d also like to give a shout out to Ed and John, our bartenders. They made sure to keep the party going with their friendly attitude!
Our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be and more and that is because of Minerals Hotel, Diamond Ballroom and their incredible staff.

Cuccolo Wedding 11/7/2025
Minerals Hotel is everything you could want in a wedding venue and more. We chose it because we wanted a hotel that felt like an in-state “destination wedding,” and Minerals delivered that perfectly. It was one of the few places where we could truly take over the property — no multiple weddings happening at once, just our celebration. From the start, we were made to feel like the priority.
Rebecca and Dana were incredible to work with both leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. Our guests filled more than 70 rooms for the weekend, and the entire Minerals team was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely excited to make our weekend special.
Everyone raved about the food, the décor, and the ambiance in the Canyon Ballroom. We feel so lucky to have celebrated our wedding at Minerals and can’t wait to visit again soon! -

Book this venue for you wedding!
From start to finish Minerals was the right choice. We started working with Rebecca before we worked with Dana and then finally had Kaya as our day-of coordinator. All three were incredible to work with. They made sure we had everything we needed as we were planning the wedding. They were easy to talk to, gave good advice, were responsive to outreach, and helped ensure the entire weekend went off without a hitch. Kaya as our day coordinator made sure that we got all the food we wanted, ensured our drinks were always full, and even made sure the bride’s dress was taken care of during the reception. We were blown away by how much they clearly care about everyone having a spectacular wedding.

Minerals Sweetgrass Pavilion Wedding 09.12.25
We are so happy we chose Minerals Hotel, Sweetgrass Pavilion, as our wedding destination. We had most of our friends and family traveling from Long Island, NJ & Maryland/DC so this venue served as a mini-destination wedding. We loved that everyone could stay on property and access their rooms if needed throughout the night. The staff was another highlight - Dana & Kaya and their team were so accommodating, professional and on-top of anything that needed to be addressed. I honestly was speechless at how well run the operations were & we did not have to worry about anything day of. It shows the team knows what they are doing. We opted for the After Party Pool Party & Day-After Breakfast which were also hits. I cannot speak highly enough about this venue. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get married!-

10/10 Venue!
The team at Minerals Hotel made our special day absolutely perfect and remarkably stress-free. From the day we booked the venue, they were great to work with and helped us a lot! The venue was absolutely beautiful and the staff was so on top of everything. Everything went smoothly and I owe it all to them. It was also such a great value as there was so much included in the price! They take care of everything! We also had a private after party in the pool area which was absolutely incredible. -

Summer 2025 Wedding
We had an amazing experience getting married at Crystal Springs Resort. We did our ceremony and reception at the Minerals Hotel, Sweetgrass Pavilion. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. We also had the best wedding coordinator, Dana. She went above and beyond for us. She truly treated us like family. We could not have asked for a better experience. -

Sweetgrass Pavilion
This venue was perfect for our wedding!! Everything went so smoothly. We had a meeting a month prior with Dana and she was the best to work with. She answered all our questions and was super helpful with all the coordination leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding Kaya was our bridal attendant and she was awesome. She was constantly running around to get us anything we needed and knew all the spots for pictures so that helped things go a lot quicker and we were not stressed on time knowing she was there! We were also concerned about the rain on the day of but Dana assured us they would make it work with the ceremony outside. I would 100% recommend this wedding venue. The staff is amazing and the place was beautiful! -

The best weekend of our lives! 5/10/25
We were married on 5/10/25 and I still am beaming ear to ear about my experience at Minerals Hotel. From the moment we stepped on the property to view the venue, we knew it was special. Rachel greeted us and gave us the grand tour and made us feel so comfortable. I did not realize my experience would be getting that much better with Dana as my coordinator. She went above and beyond to help us. She answered any and all of questions, she gave me honest feedback, and always put my needs ahead of anything else. She’s a professional and a saint. My whole experience as a bride was made better from her being there for us throughout the whole experience.
Our wedding weekend was everything we could have wanted and more. The mineral hotel staff took care of everything and made everyone feel so comfortable. I cannot tell you how many people are still texting us about how amazing everything was and how they want to find more excuses to come to this hotel.
We opted for a welcome party for all of our guests the night before and offered snacks and a cash bar in the diamond room- it really set the scene for the whole weekend. Our bartender that night kept the drinks flowing and everyone had the best time. We also opted for a farewell brunch the day after the wedding in the same room and it was perfect. The breakfast buffet is unmatched and was much needed after a night of partying.
We got married in the Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals hotel and it was the most beautiful experience ever. Not only is the pavilion itself beautifully designed but the staff were on top of everything. They made sure that everyone had what they needed (which was a lot for a 180 person wedding) and were so organized. Our lovely bridal assistant, Kya, made sure my husband and I ate, were hydrated and even had to do a quick tailoring job for me to make my dress more comfortable to dance in haha. She also knew EXACTLY where to go for pictures, our previews came back so nice. The dance floor was perfect for a big dance party, the chicken roulade and filet mignon were divine, and the bartenders made a fabulous lemon drop martini (my choice haha) There was not one thing I could say wrong about the whole night.
The makeup artists (Marisol and Leah) and hairstylist (Caitlin) that we hired from the salon at Minerals were INCREDIBLE. Every single girl looked absolutely beautiful. A big concern when hiring was seeing how the makeup artists worked on mature skin and hooded eyes (requests from MOB and grandmother of bride) and they knocked it out of the park. These girls are extremely talented (I’ll post pics with the review).
The cocktail hour was amazing. Everyone was impressed with the food- I don’t remember what we picked but there’s nothing you could go wrong with (also Kya wrapped up all the food for us so the day after the wedding my husband and I were able to try everything we weren’t able to- it was such a nice treat) and the after party pool party was so much fun (I highly recommend booking that your guests and you will love it…and the after party churros- everyone ate those up).
Another thing I wanted to point out was the accessibility of the venue. Minerals really came through making sure every person was taken care of. The venue was a breeze for my husband to get in and out of and they double checked everything. They even checked multiple times before check in that my husband would be able to get in and out of the pool with the pool lift. It was so nice not to have to think about accessibility concerns on our wedding weekend.
After the princess treatment we received at minerals hotel, I don’t think anyone should get married anywhere else. Dana, Kya, and the rest of the minerals team made my dream wedding into a reality bigger than what I could have imagined for myself. Do not hesitate, book this venue, you will be so glad you did.-

Review for Sweetgrass Pavilion
Our experience at Sweetgrass Pavilion was nothing short of incredible! From the moment our guests checked in until the final farewell, the entire resort offered endless activities and relaxation, making it a perfect getaway for everyone attending our wedding. The wedding day itself was flawless thanks to the phenomenal staff, who ensured everything ran smoothly and without a hitch. Their attention to detail and seamless coordination made us feel so at ease throughout the entire celebration. The Sweetgrass Pavilion was the perfect venue to say "I do" — an open-air experience surrounded by nature, capped off by a stunning sunset over the mountains. It was an unforgettable setting that made our special day feel magical. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate with our friends and family. Highly recommend! -

Best wedding ever!!!
My husband and I got married at the Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals Hotel almost two months ago in August. We have spent almost everyday talking about how much we miss our entire wedding weekend and wish we could relive it again just one more time!
I really wanted a venue that wasn’t the traditional ballroom feel. The stunning views the Sweetgrass Pavilion was unmatched. We toured the venue in January in the dead of winter when everything was bare and we still knew this was exactly where we wanted to celebrate. We got to enjoy the gorgeous sunset during our first dance and our guest have not stopped talking about what an amazing time they had the entire weekend at the wedding, and hanging out by the pool at the hotel.
We cannot say enough about the INCREDIBLE staff. We first met Rebecca who not only was incredibly kind but was able to answer all of our questions. As we got closer to the day I worked more closely with Dana… I want to book another wedding just so I could work with Dana and Kaya (our bridal attendant again). Dana is the reason I woke up the morning of my wedding and felt nothing but calm and ready for the day. Anything that needed to be done I knew Dana was able to take care of it. The week of our wedding Hurricane Debbie was making its way up the east coast, it poured the entire week and was supposed to the Saturday of our wedding. Although it wouldn’t have been ideal I was completely at ease knowing Dana was going to still help make our day feel magical. (We fortunately lucked out and woke up to the most perfect wedding day weather that Saturday morning with not a cloud in the sky, no humidity, and the perfect temperature.)
There are people who are good at their job and their are people who are simply AMAZING at their job… our bridal attendant Kaya was just that. Kaya was my everything go to girl on our wedding day. She coordinated picture spots with our photographer, made sure we and our family were fed and happy, helped clean the muddy dog print off my wedding dress, bustled my wedding dress, and made sure my husband and I had a drink in our hands at all times. She took care of our bridal party and us with a smile on her face the whole time. She had our leftover food packed up and stored in our hotel room refrigerator for us. I was so sad saying goodnight to her at the end of our night.
Teri was our maitre de the night of our wedding and was an absolute pleasure. Our guests had nothing but nice things to say about her and she was amazing at helping keep the pace of events for the evening.
Overall, we are still reminiscing about the best weekend ever and looking forward to going back to Minerals Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary!-

Beautiful Sweetgrass Pavilion
We cannot compliment and thank Minerals and Dana and Rebecca enough for the amazing day we had. We got married October 7, 2023 but booked Minerals during Covid in early 2021. Working with Rebecca and Dana over the years was great. They were both very responsive and kind throughout the entire stressful wedding planning process. We got married at the Sweetgrass Pavilion and it was truly a beautiful day. The team put together a beautiful spread of food and everyone said it was great and are still talking about it! The venue is extremely beautiful, we had our cocktail hour in the beautiful area inside and reception in the pavilion. We had our after party upstairs in the restaurant. Everything from beginning to end was truly magical. The staff the day of was amazing as well. Even at the end of the night, we came back to our room and Rebecca had left rose petals outside and inside the room and had champagne on ice waiting for us. I will never forget the special day we had an again, am truly grateful for the team! -

Best Wedding Venue
I can't express enough how much I love this venue and the staff. We got married on June 1st at the Sweetgrass Pavilion at the Minerals Hotel. It was the most beautiful venue. The pictures on their website don't do it justice. On top of the venue being so beautiful, the staff was INCREDIBLE. Dana, our wedding coordinator, went above and beyond the days leading up to our wedding and on the day of the wedding. She responded quickly to any questions we had leaving up to the wedding. She made the wedding planning process so seamless. Kaya, our bridal attendant, was amazing as well. She went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure we were taken care of. She made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the day. She even took video throughout the day and made us a little video of our day with the song I walked down to in the background! It was the perfect memory from the day. I didn't want to worry about one thing throughout the day because of Kaya & Dana. Also, I surprised my now husband with our puppy as the first look. I wouldn't have been able to pull that off without Kaya and Dana. For the rest of the staff, they were so friendly and attentive all night. We had our guests telling us after the wedding about how nice and wonderful the staff was. I can not recommend this venue enough. -

Dream Wedding Weekend
VENUE / Minerals Hotel at Crystal Springs Resort 10/10 - We got married in the Sweetgrass Pavilion and it truly was a magical night. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my husband and I. From start to finish I worked with Rebecca and Dana who answered ALL of my questions in a timely manner. Dana, the wedding coordinator is a GEM. She is extremely thorough and organized, no stone gets left unturned. She made me feel so confident in all of my decisions, making sure that everything I wanted wouldn’t go unnoticed. Kaya was our bridal attendant and this woman sewed my dress 3 times in the night because my straps kept ripping. She is literally your angel for the day. They offer SO much in their packages, the cocktail hour was amazing, the drinks were great, outdoor ceremony is beautiful and the wedding staff was wonderful. Also, there is nothing better than being able to walk to your room after a wedding than having to wait for a shuttle. This was something we wanted for our guests for everything to be on the same grounds and they were appreciative of that! Not to mention, a lot of people made it their own weekend getaway because there is SO much to do at the resort and in the area of Vernon. -

Minerals Hotel Wedding
By far the best choice in choosing the Minerals hotel for my wedding (diamond ballroom). The ceremony to reception was absolutely perfect and beautiful. They treated me and my husband like absolute royalty but also my entire family. Dana, Rebecca and Ky were incredible to work with and I have nothing but excellent things to say about them/the venue. -

Nunez-Vazquez Wedding
Our wedding was absolutely stunning! We had our wedding at the Sweetgrass Pavilion at the Minerals Hotel and it was so beautiful. The foliage was at its peak and the weather was gorgeous. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day and evening. The pavilion is gorgeous especially during sunset. It’s very picturesque with the Mountain View and everyone was raving about how beautiful & breathtaking the venue looked. This venue and Crystal Springs resort in general, is such a wonderful place to get married. It feels like a destination wedding without all the hassle and gives your guests the opportunity to make a vacation out of your wedding. There is so much to do at the resort, both Minerals Hotel & Grand Cascades Lodge. Our guests truly enjoyed themselves!!! So did my hubby and I! Also, it’s all inclusive & the prices were very affordable! The staff at the minerals hotel were so friendly, and professional. Dana was our coordinator and Kaya was our bridal assistant. They were PHENOMENAL! They went above and beyond to make our day so special and exceeded our expectations. We were planning our wedding for 2 years and communication with Dana and the entire team at the Minerals Hotel was so effortless and wonderful. They answered every question that we had and even made time to meet us in person at the venue and/or virtually via Google meet or FaceTime. Dana is a rockstar of a coordinator and every bride will be in good hands with Dana. Kaya was such a sweetheart and took care of me all day and evening. She went above and beyond and I truly appreciated everything she did for me from making sure I looked great in pictures, fixing my veil as i walked down the aisle, keeping my glass full, and more!!! She truly did any & everything to make sure I’m happy and taken care of. Dana & Kaya took the time to make sure that my husband and I were taken care of, as well as, our bridal party & immediate family. Everyone was so pleased with how they were cared for. Now the food….it was AMAZING!!! My guests kept raving about the food, especially the prime rib & the mushroom truffle ravioli. Cocktail hour was a hit as well! For an all inclusive venue, we had SO MUCH food during cocktail hour and the reception (we chose buffet which was to die for)! Everything was delicious. The bartenders kept everyone happy all night and the drinks were on point. The maître d’ was awesome as well! He was so friendly, and made sure that everything went according to plan, and it did! We had our after party at the kites restaurant in the Minerals Hotel and that was such a fun time! The after party was not an additional cost which was a plus! Also, The hotel provides a shuttle for guests that are staying at the Grant Cascades Lodge, which was super helpful. Overall, I couldn’t have picked a better venue! Future brides, this is the one! My husband and I wish that we can relive our wedding again. It was perfect and it was everything that we could ask for and more all thanks to the staff at the Minerals Hotel for making sure that our day was perfect in every way, shape and form! We are forever grateful!! THANK YOU!!!!!-

Best Wedding Ever!
Getting married at Minerals Hotel was the best decision we could have made! I wish I could give it 10 stars! Dana and her team made our day beyond perfect. From the gorgeous venue to the attentive staff Minerals Hotel is the perfect place to hold your wedding! Our guests were treated to a full weekend of events and everyone was raving about the entire weekend. If you’re lucky enough to have Kaya as your bridal attendant your day will be even better. The food was excellent at each event, especially the wedding. My husband and I left saying we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Thank you to the entire Minerals team for giving us the best day of our lives. -

We got married at Sweetgrass Pavilion and it was everything we dreamed for and more! We were blessed to have worked with Dana, Kaya, and Terry - those 3 ladies are a powerhouse and will make sure you have absolutely everything you need and more! They were on top of very detail and knew what we needed before we even did! From the start to finish everything was 10/10. We had or ceremony in the wedding garden- the natural greenery and landscaping was stunning! The way the ladies decorated the pavilion was jaw-dropping. Wow, the best venue!
We got married at the Sweetgrass pavilion at Minerals Hotel. We only toured two venues and knew that this was the one for us. We wanted an outdoor event at a resort where it was an “all in one” vibe. The beautiful wooden pavilion was a romantic unique reception space. Our coordinator Dana through the venue and the bridal attendant Kaya were exceptional in helping make our day as perfect as possible for us - despite weather affecting parts of our day. We had to last minute move our ceremony indoors due to a storm and they both worked so well in what could’ve been pure chaos. Our day ended up so great thanks to the help of the staff. The communication of the wedding team was always excellent. The food and drinks were also so great and our guests all raved about it. The hotel accommodations went smoothly and the views are awesome. Dana even went above and beyond and utilized some of the sites decor as well as my own that I brought in order to bring all of my visions to life with the rest of my vendors. They were also a fairly priced venue. We highly recommend Crystal Springs (especially Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals) for your event. It was a romantic, rustic yet elegant dream come true. -

Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals Hotel - AMAZING!!
Our wedding at the Minerals Hotel in July 2023 was amazing! The reception at the Sweetgrass Pavilion was magical. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they've ever attended.
The Sweetgrass Pavilion for the reception was enchanting. The stunning backdrop of the mountains, the gorgeous gardens, the wooden bar, and the warm lighting made it a fairytale-like atmosphere. Despite it being a hot summer evening, the night felt relaxed and vacation-like, and the fans inside the pavilion kept our guests comfortably cool. We were initially concerned about space for our 170 guests at 16 tables, but it was perfectly comfortable.
Due to the summer heat and full sun in the garden at 5:30 pm in July, we had to move the ceremony and cocktail hour inside. While we were sad to not have the ceremony in the beautiful garden, our guests were grateful for not having to sit in the hot sun, and it was still lovely and beautiful inside.
The staff at Minerals Hotel were outstanding, and we owe a huge thank you to the exceptional planners and attendants, Rebecca, Dana, and Kaya. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, taking care of every detail flawlessly, and going above and beyond to make our day special. Their efforts made the entire planning process and the event itself stress-free, allowing us to fully enjoy our day without any worries.
The food was simply delicious, and our guests raved about the menu, especially the mac & cheese bar. Everything came out on time and was presented beautifully.
If you're searching for a wedding venue that will surpass your expectations and create an unforgettable experience, the Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals Hotel, Crystal Springs Resort, in Vernon, NJ is the perfect choice. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, thanks to this amazing venue and its fantastic team!

Wedding 4/29/2023
We choose Minerals Hotel for our wedding in order to have all our guests on location and to have all our events for the weekend in one place and Minerals did not disappoint. We were able to have a private Wine Cellar dinner at Crystal Springs Grand Cascades, the rehearsal dinner at Minerals, spa day at grand cascades, the ceremony and reception and the morning after brunch all at Minerals without a single hiccup. Dana and Rebecca made sure everything was booked and scheduled according to plan before we arrived. We were able to enjoy the resort and weekend with friends and family without a worry about the wedding or planning. Our friends were able to golf at Crystal Springs and others were able to enjoy the pool. We had an incredible time and really did not have to worry about the ceremony or reception. Kay was there during the day of the wedding to make sure we had everything we needed and ensure that everyone was in place. During the reception, everyone was dancing and partying all night. Kay made sure we were taken care of and that we always had food, drinks and knew what was happening next. Everyone gave extremely positive and raving reviews about the food and there was so much variety. It was an extremely smooth and perfect weekend, where we could truly rely on the resort to handle everything. -

Best Day Ever!
Choosing Minerals Resort and Spa was the best decision for us, and we had the best day on our wedding day. We were looking for a spot where all the events (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) were in the same place and close to accommodations for our guests. Minerals covered this perfectly. We were also looking for a rustic venue, and the pavilion was the perfect aesthetic that we were looking for in a venue. On top of being both a convenient location and look, the package that Minerals provide is a great deal and honestly no-brainer. Dana was wonderful to work with and everyone on the day of the wedding was so helpful. I wish I could go back and relive! -

Great Expereince!
I just booked my venue with Mineral Springs Resort in NJ. Nicole has been so helpful. I had previously went to a wedding there and had such an amazing time. As I looked for my venue nothing really compared. My fiancé and I ended up taking a trip to NJ and he fell in love with the venue and we booked right after. I can't wait for our wedding day! -

My husband and I were looking for a unique, "all in one" place and we found it here. The grounds and hotel are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We opted to have our reception in the Sweetgrass Pavilion which was decorated perfectly to reflect our exact vision. Nicole was a pleasure to work with from booking the venue to the very last second of our day. She provided amazing guidance and quickly responded to any questions or concerns. Nicole genuinely listened and cared about our vision and provided us with our dream wedding. Her calm demeanor kept me at ease throughout the entire planning process and the day of set up- you are truly in good hands when working with her. Marcia was my bridal attendant and she went above and beyond to make sure our every need was met. The hotel staff was lovely. Brett, the Front Desk Manager, made sure everything ran smoothly. He ensured our guests were taken care of and provided with their welcome bags. In addition to our extreme satisfaction with Minerals Resort & Spa, our guests loved our venue! They raved about how beautiful it was, they enjoyed all the amenities and were beyond impressed with the delicious food and cocktails. I could go on for days about how incredible our experience was. I highly recommend Minerals to every bride and groom, especially if you are looking for something that is not a "cookie cutter" wedding. -

My husband and I got married in the Pavillon at Minerals Hotel and the entire wedding weekend was amazing. We loved having all wedding activities centralized to the hotel and the garden ceremony space and covered Pavillon created the perfect romantic, garden party vibe we were going for. Nicole, Samantha and the whole Minerals staff were wonderful to work with. They were very responsive and they made sure every last detailed was taken care of throughout the wedding weekend.-

I can not say enough great things about the staff at Minerals! I picked Minerals as my venue early on in my planning, and the whole team did a wonderful job of checking in with me occasionally to see what other areas of the wedding I might need help with. I worked with Nicole S. for over a year before the day got close enough for me to get a day of coordinator, and Nicole was always great at responding quickly to my emails, and getting me in touch with the right people. My day of coordinator was Traci- and let me tell you, she is FANTASTIC!!! I can't count the number of emails we exchanged in the last two months leading up to the wedding, but she was always quick to respond, and great at getting me the information I needed from Minerals. She kept me on track time wise, and made sure that any and all questions or concerns I had were all answered in a very timely manner- well before the big day. I know I can't have been her only bride, but I always felt that she was 100% focused on me and my big day. She and the whole Minerals staff were incredible, and really made my day perfect. Thank you for all you did for me, Traci, you're AMAZING!!! -Kristen and Mason 4.28.17 -

The staff at Minerals did a phenomenal job with every detail of our wedding. Our coordinator, Nicole, was extremely helpful, attentive, and thorough throughout the planing process and on our wedding day. I can't thank her enough. Our maitre d', Stephanie, was also phenomenal, and the rest of the staff was excellent and very attentive as well. The food was incredible; even months later, our guests were still raving about how delicious everything was. Thank you to the Minerals staff for all your hard work in helping make our wedding as wonderful as it was! -

amazing experience
Such an incredible experience.
We book their new room, The Canyon, and it was absolutely fantastic. My guests had an absolutely incredible time.
The venue provides services top to bottom - Dana was my wedding coordinator and they need to double or triple her salary. She was essentially a wedding planner. I know friends who have spent thousands of dollars to hire a wedding planner, but Dana was that and then some. She made sure I didn't have to lift a finger the day of. She coordinated with all of the vendors and even ran interference when my hair and makeup didn't show up and wasn't communicating with me on the morning of the wedding. She handled everything.
They also provided a bridal attendant, Kaya, who was stellar. Kaya went above and beyond to make my day incredible. When the fire alarm went off in the venue and we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for the Fire Department to shut the alarm off, Kaya went to my DJ, my photographer, and everyone else to ask them to stay 30 minutes beyond the allotted time... without me or my husband even asking.
THE FOOD. THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. We had over 200 people and somehow all of the food came out perfect. My guests were so beyond happy. Kaya also boxed up all of the food for me and my husband because we were having too much fun and didn't eat.
Also, this is the perfect destination/non-destination. We were able to have our guests stay at the Minerals Hotel, the Crystal Springs Hotel, and air b&bs around the property.

May '23 Wedding
Our experience planning a wedding at Minerals Hotel was, in a nutshell, seamless. The administration was accommodating throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and allowed us to push the wedding, 2 times, during those uncertain times without question. We were finally able to have our big day in May 2023 and it was truly our dream wedding. Every member on the Minerals Hotel events team was crucial in making our vision come to life. From Nicole and Dana who guided us throughout the planning process to Kaia, Terry, the chef, kitchen and waitstaff who ensured the day of details were executed, it was an amazing team to work with. Overall the team is organized, communicates effectively, and cares to make your event a success.
It was important for us to find a hotel venue with beautiful grounds that could accommodate a large welcome dinner, the ceremony, an outdoor reception, and an after party – and Minerals Hotel checked all the boxes. The hotel, property, and Sweetgrass Pavilion are beautiful and well maintained. We held our reception in the Sweetgrass Pavilion, which allowed us to have the security of an indoor wedding (in case of rain), but with the outdoor feel we wanted. Dana, her team, and our wonderful floral designers, Stephanie and Jesse Williams from Whisper and Brook Flower Co. decorated the Pavilion beautifully, again, executing our vision perfectly. The timeline we planned was followed, and even though it rained on our day, the team seamlessly pivoted to move cocktail hour and pictures indoors. Our reception was still able to be held in the Sweetgrass Pavilion.
The food at the welcome dinner, cocktail hour, and the reception was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Typically at weddings, we have found that the food at the reception is nowhere near as good as cocktail hour, but that was absolutely not the case here. Since the wedding, we have received many compliments from our guests about the food and their overall experience staying at Minerals Hotel, with more than a few people saying they plan to go back to Crystal Springs Resort for a weekend getaway.
Now, no wedding is perfect, there are so many moving parts it's foolish to think everything will go off without a hitch. Our one criticism is that we did not receive back all of the items we brought to the venue (e.g., extra blankets left by guests in the pavilion after the reception, rechargeable fairy lights, decorative glass bowl from the amenity basket, etc.) and were missing approx. $250 worth of items. We were told if the items were found they would reach out but we never heard back. A minor hiccup in an overall very successful event.
We loved our experience planning and hosting our wedding here and highly recommend checking out Minerals Hotel, Crystal Springs Resort for yourself.

Best day ever!
My husband and I got married at Sweet Grass Pavillion on 10/08/23 and it was a dream come true. Rebecca was very helpful booking our wedding. Dana was very helpful the week leading up to our wedding and the day of! She even gives you her cell number which was super helpful! She decorated the pavilion beautifully and made it so us! Kaya the bridal attendant is literally the best. We were lucky enough it did not rain on our big day but it was chilly. She got blankets for all the elderly people at our wedding. She set our room up and it was so sweet and cute!! I cannot say enough amazing things about her! We both didnt really eat much as the day just flew by but everyone said the food was some of the best wedding food they have ever had! Minerals hotel was amazing, all the staff were very nice and our guests did not have one complaint! We truly had the best day ever! -

Amazing Service, Unique and beautiful space, all in one place
When looking for a venue, we knew we wanted to be able to have the ceremony and hotel in one place. We looked at probably 15 venues throughout NY / NJ and Minerals and the Sweetgrass Pavillion were far and away the best - particularly when considering the price point! The Pavilion is such a unique space. The grounds were beautiful, we got married in late october and the foliage was at its peak for our wedding, we had guests who didn't know New Jersey could look so much like New Hampshire. We were blessed with amazing weather, but we had no weather worries on the big day, because we were the only wedding at the venue so could have easily made the call to move everything indoors to the Diamond Ballroom if we needed to. Dana, Rebecca, and Kaya were absolutely amazing to work with, they are true professionals that made the day run so smoothly, for us as well as our vendors. They brought a great fun energy to the day, and took such good care of us, along with all our friends and family. And that extends to all the staff at Minerals - Chef Andy, Joe at Kites, the bartenders who worked our wedding all went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed - from the cocktail hour, to the reception food, to the everyday food at kites. After the wedding we stayed a few extra days with family at the resort and it was so nice to have that time all together, enjoying the pool and all the amenities, there's so much to do here, both indoors and outdoors.
We can't recommend Minerals and the Sweetgrass Pavilion enough! We came in confident that the day would be amazing and the team here beyond exceeded our expectations. We could not have asked for a better day and the Minerals was a huge reason why. Can't wait to go back for a long weekend for our anniversary :)-

My hubby and I just got married at Minerals this past weekend and couldn't have been happier and more pleased with EVERYTHING! We, of course, had our doubts going in, since we just didn't know how things would go. But Minerals carried out our vision to a T and beyond! The garden ceremony was just perfect and beautiful. And Vesna, who we hired and works for Crystal Springs, decorated the Pavilion so beautifully. Our guests were RAVING about how perfect and beautiful it all was (even my mom who can be hard to please!), and loved the mountain backdrop! The Pavilion had a cozy feel to it and I couldn't have been more impressed. The food was also delicious (and copious!) and the golf cart ride from the ceremony to the Pavilion was a fun touch. The staff and service was great and speedy! Nicole was so, so wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond in everything - even Friday nite at the Moonshine bar (aka the tiki bar) where we did a little gathering, she helped us with getting us what we needed. She was amazing. The only thing you might want to ask is what time the bar closes during the reception. We had the Pavilion from 6:30-11 (also make sure you check your contract since they tried to tell us it ended at 10:30, but we figured it out and were able to stay till 11), and the bar closed at 10:30. We had no idea beforehand, and it was fine that it did, but it would've been good to know before and had the DJ announce last call. The other nice thing would've been to pull our cake onto the dance floor so everyone could see, but it was a quick little cut and we were done, so not a big deal that it wasn't either (Guests also LOVED the cake from Palermo's!). But, seriously - our guests loved the weekend. Many of them that spent the weekend had fun hiking, swimming, playing basketball, tennis and just hanging out. We keep getting messages about what a great weekend it was and we cannot thank Minerals, Nicole and the staff enough!! -

Minerals was the perfect wedding venue! Nicole helped me plan my wedding in June and I could not have asked for a better wedding planner. No detail was missed and every single one of my guests had an amazing time. The food was perfect, the staff didn't miss a beat! By the end of the night my guests were hugging the bartenders goodbye and everyone was having a blast. We had our after party at the Tiki Bar, which was one of the reasons we booked this venue. It was a perfect outdoor/indoor New Jersey summer wedding! And thanks to all the staff- the best day of our lives! -

We absolutely LOVED having our wedding here. The booking was a breeze, and Nicole was a huge help in making our contract fit all of our needs for our wedding day! We were always in contact with her - even if I sent her the tiniest questions, she would respond promptly and happily.
We had our wedding reception in the outdoors pavilion, which at the time was quite new for them to do. Between the time of booking and the wedding, they had completely renovated the bathrooms there (they're so beautiful now!) which was a relief since they weren't in great shape before! They know exactly what they've got and they're definitely putting money into making the pavilion the go-to spot for outdoor receptions. We were able to pretty much do whatever we wanted to it - we actually hired a lighting company to come and stick up cafe lights all over for the night, and they let us have fire pits in the sand in case anyone wanted to hang out there instead of dance.
The ONLY problem I can't give it 5 stars is the room booking. We were promised, that since we were the only wedding on premises, that we would have plenty of rooms for anyone who wanted to stay, which was NOT the case. They ran out before our wedding party even started booking. It all got figured out in the end - other weddings at their other locations eventually had extra rooms, but by the time we were able to get them, some of our guests had changed their mind and decided not to book. There was also miscommunication with the front desk, and often... guests would call to book a room and would be told there was no breakfast included, when there in fact was. They also ran out of breakfast vouchers for the guests when they checked in, and some guests ate in the dining room and paid for it themselves because they weren't aware that we had a separate buffet for them.
These are things that I'm sure can and will get ironed out in time. Our wedding day at Minerals was absolutely perfect and I would recommend to anyone! -

Hot and Sweaty
The wedding was great (for the most part). The team did a great job with preparations and being attentive to our needs, however there was a major problem with the air conditioning in the ballroom during our reception and Mineral Springs was not able to fix it. It was a July 30th wedding and the air was thick and our guests were uncomfortable and were forced to sweat-out the evening. Worst part was that the management would not give us any consideration for this disaster. Our wedding coordinator said she would speak to her director, but thereafter would not answer or return our phone-calls -- we never heard back from her or anyone from Mineral Springs. -

I'd like to split my review into two parts. Nicole, our sales contact and coordinator for the majority of the planning process, the resort itself, the space, food, and my bridal attendant were all absolutely amazing. If this review were solely about these pieces it would be easy to give 5 stars in every category.
However, as my wedding approached I was moved from Nicole being my coordinator to Kristine who is solely responsible for pulling down this review. Kristine was frequently out of the office in the weeks leading up to my wedding including the day of our rehearsal. Nicole kindly stepped up where Kristine shirked her responsibilities and made sure nothing headed into disaster prior to the day of. On the day of my wedding I saw Kristine 3 times equaling maybe 7 minutes of total interaction. I first saw Kristine at 9am where we discussed the small chance of rain in the forecast and what we should do. She forcefully expressed her desire to move the cocktail hour indoors (despite the rain not being forecasted to start until after the cocktail hour was over). I told her I'd like to wait to see how things look a little later to decide. I then did not see Kristine for 4 hours. She showed up in the bridal suite after 1pm and informed me cocktail hour was set up for indoors and now could not be changed. She argued with me, made me cry on my wedding day, and just generally attempted to bully me into a vision I did not want. My amazing photographer (shout out Stephanie Massaro) and bridesmaids quickly swept in and handled Kristine to ensure everything was set as we had originally planned. Kristine then disappeared again and the 3rd and last time I saw her was when we lined up for our entrance into the reception. It did not rain a single drop from 2pm until the end of our night at 2am. If Kristine is your coordinator RUN or demand to be placed with someone else. She's disorganized, dishonest, and unprofessional and could easily ruin your day like she tried to mine. -

We had our ceremony and reception at the Black Bear Golf Course, and had room blocks at Minerals, but I’m going to review them together here.
The venue and the hotel are BEAUTIFUL - so perfect for a fall wedding!
When we booked the wedding, the only option was to get room blocks at minerals, and despite the date being available, we were very limited on the number of rooms we could block, and almost immediately there was a computer error and they started telling guests that they had sold out. It took days to sort out...
Our “coordinator” with the hotel and venue was awful, slow to respond to emails and questions, didn’t take notes on allergies (aka mine), and told us that we could rehearse at Black Bear the day before - only to call me a day before the rehearsal to say “oh I told you the wrong thing”. No apology, no alternative- more of “you don’t need to rehearse”. She acted like our wedding was the least important thing she was doing that day, and I am pretty sure it’s her only job. She also sent our final bill on the Friday afternoon the week before the wedding (8 days out) and said “it’s due 7 days before your wedding”. She gave no way of paying the bill, and no way to contact anyone that weekend. We got it sorted through the hotel, but what kind of business wants your money but gives you no way to pay it?!
The day of maître d’ was AWESOME. She totally saved the day, fixed the issues with food allergies, and generally was incredible. The food was perfect - so good! I wish our coordinator had passed her notes along to the bar tender (I asked for hard cider and they had NOTHING) but again, that was the coordinator and not the actual bartenders or staff.
All in all, if you do go with Minerals and Black Bear, hire a coordinator to help you negotiate with them or be ready to do a lot more work that you would expect to! -

Very disappointing
This review has taken me 5+ years to write, quite frankly because I am traumatized. I dealt with Nicole, the "day of coordinator" who was a glorified sales person. In fact, the DAY OF my wedding she was giving tours and didn't help me. Other than that, when I arrived at the venue they acted like they didn't know who I was. No one acknowledged my presence, no one helped me set up the decorations. I cried for hours because they were so unhelpful. Hopefully they've improved since then, but I swear this was one of the most devastating experiences I've had in my lifetime. -
