My only regret is that I didn't start at Milk & Honey!!!! My now husband and I are long-distance, so I tried three bridal shops within a 350-mile radius. At Milk & Honey Bride, I was never rushed, I could tell their selection was extremely top-tier, and Diane and Brooke were fun and professional. In-house alterations were absolutely perfect, stress-free, and very reasonably priced. I recommend Milk and Honey Bride to any and all future brides. -

This boutique has the most unique selection of dresses. They have the perfect dress for everyone and they make you feel beautiful while you try them on. I went to 5 different places before I went here and they found my perfect dress right away. I 100% recommend getting your dress here! -

In my bridal dress search, I went to three different bridal salons, and I ended up at Milk and Honey Bride, as I was looking for a "boho beach bride" vibe. I reached out to their Facebook page first to see if they had dresses by Lillian West or Justin Alexander, as those dresses caught my eye the most, and when they responded ever so quickly to say yes, they did, I immediately scheduled an appointment to go look for myself. I'm so glad that I did because Diane, Brooke, and their alterations seamstress are SO sweet, personable, and excited to make your special day amazing. The joy they express when you find THE ONE dress that calls to you is clearly evident, and each time you come back for fittings or for whatever reason, it's like you're being reunited with family or friends. They even make it a point to steam your dress and veil prior to your wedding day to be sure that it is wrinkle free! I'm so beyond grateful for Milk and Honey Bridal because they never made me feel like I was wasting their time, and they always just seemed so thrilled to help in any way possible! Thank you so much for all you do for each and every one of your brides! It does not go unnoticed! -

I originally found my dress on Instagram. I noticed that milk and honey bride sold the designer of my dress but did not have that exact dress available. They contacted the store in New York that sells the dress and had it shipped in as a rental for me to try on. The rental shipping was fast and they warmly invited me and my family/friends in to try dresses on. We were allowed to bring champagne and everyone had a good time in their beautiful shop.
My dress came in very quickly and everything was pretty smooth from there. I went in for an alterations appointment and they also steamed my dress and a veil before my wedding day.
They made this process so smooth! -

Finding a dress was harder than I thought it was going to be! I am very decisive, but just couldn't find a dress. The warehouse style boutiques was overwhelming and tiring. Milk & Honey has consultants who know just what you want! The y make you feel beautiful and help every step of the way! -

Milk & Honey Bride is the best of the best!!! There may be a fair few bridal shops to choose from in Hampton Roads but I’m telling you go. With. Milk and honey. They have out of sight dresses. Stunning inventory and even more stunning service. They will make you feel like you are all that matters snd will bend over backward to help you find your dream gown. It truly wasn’t hard for me as Diane brought me different silhouettes and we narrowed it down. Brooke and Diane are the best !!! You can tell they have a great demeanor and reputation with the designers and colleagues they work with too. So pleased!! I would come for my fittings or pick up and roll in from work not always in the best mood and they had a way of being so kind that the magic of the biz would just transport me and my mom and get us so excited about wedding planning. Thank you Milk and Honey it was a breeze! I LOVE MY DRESS. -

Being a plus sized bride was scary for me! I HATE shopping for clothes and the thought of trying to find the perfect dress made me so anxious! When I walked into Milk and Honey, I just felt so relaxed. Diane and Brooke made sure that I felt beautiful and listened to everything I was concerned about! It took me three dresses to find the perfect one; one that was not anything I would have never expected to fall in love with. Size didn’t matter anymore, I felt like the most beautiful woman in the room! I can’t thank Diane and Brooke enough for helping feel amazing for my big day. -

The first moment I stepped in to Milk & Honey, I could feel the passion and care Diane and Brooke put into their business. I wasn’t just another sale to them, I was a person that they celebrated along the way and truly took the time to know. I walked in, told them my budget and what I was looking for, and the very first dress I put on was the one. I tried one more on just for fun but knew immediately that was my dress. From that moment forward, Diane made sure I was taken care of and scheduled all my appointments in a timely manner with plenty of communication in between. She was sweet, funny, and on top of everything. These ladies were absolutely fabulous and I could not imagine choosing anywhere else to get my dress. I got my veil and earrings there as well!! You are guaranteed to feel spoiled, taken care of, and a personal touch that is hard to come by. Thank you Diane and Brooke for making me feel beautiful on the best day of my life. -

I can't possibly recommend Milk & Honey more highly to anyone shopping for a wedding dress in the VA Beach area! We had tried a few places, weren't having good luck, and I was about to give up when we drove past Milk & Honey. It said "appointments only" on the door so I got nervous they wouldn't take me, but they totally did! In fact, Brooke stayed an hour past closing time to help me find my dress and we didn't even realize until we left! The ladies there are so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about helping you find your dream dress! When my wedding got postponed in April because of COVID, one of the ladies even called just to check in and ask if there was anything she could help with in rescheduling it! These ladies are amazing, their gowns are beautiful, and they are the absolute best place to go in the 757 if you're looking for your dream gown! -

From start to finish the entire experience was fun and exciting!! The staff give 150% to make the experience special. It’s a smaller boutique so you get the attention and personal experience rather than a major store who sees 200 shoppers a day! They have all sizes for women of all shapes. My wedding was black tie and they made sure I looked and felt the part! I’m 6’2 and they found the most beautiful dress and veil for me! I can’t recommend this bridal shop enough! -

There are so many wonderful things I could write about Brooke and Diane and their shop. Buying my dress there was one of the highlights of the entire wedding planning experience. They are amazingly knowledgeable about the dresses and what looks good, the prices are reasonable and they have a great selection - especially for those of us with CURVES! It makes such a difference to actually be able to put on a dress in a size 18 and have it zip up the back. If you are a "bigger gal", make this your first stop!! Brooke and Diane are also just lovely human beings and it was such a pleasure to deal with them and see them during fittings and my accessory visit. I would highly, highly recommend them! Any Bride in the area looking for the BEST bridal experience and bridal dress will be at Milk & Honey Bride. Brooke and Diane are the absolute best and amazing to work with! You can tell they love what they do and are also experts at what they do!! I highly recommend anyone to stop by because this place is hands down the best bridal shop in the area! -

Brooke was absolutely amazing. Milk & Honey was the second dress shop I visited and Brooke wanted to see her competition (another dress I loved)! Brooke definitely competed to win and while I haven’t picked my dress yet, the dress she picked is constantly on my mind. She knew my style right off the bat! The shop was beautiful, fun and intimate and I will definitely do a second visit! -

My sister and I stopped here for my first bridal appointment and I walked away with my dress ordered just about an hour later! The staff was so friendly and fun! The designers they have in stock have BEAUTIFUL gowns!! They took my style and every piece of information I told them and had me try on a bunch of different types of dresses. I have no doubt I picked out my perfect dress. -
Hailey Sent on 08/28/2018I went in to get a dress with about 30 days before my wedding. Brooke took my budget and my timeline and I walked out with a beautiful dress the same day. She was so helpful in finding me something that I would have ASAP, not to mention a dress that I loved! The first dress she picked was the one, but also had me try a few more. Her exciting and uplifting energy made the experience so amazing, especially as a picky plus size bride with many insecurities. I would recommend anyone to go there for the best bridal gown shopping experience.

After going to a larger national chain type of Bridal Store the week before & not having a great experience (no sizes that really fit me, no gowns I had picked out online were actually in the store, crowded, unfriendly staff, etc), Milk & Honey was the breath of fresh air I needed. The boutique is beautiful & welcoming, with ample space for about two appointments to take place at one time - this was so much better than the 20-25 appts that were going on at the previous place I went.
Karen was my consultant & she really knew everything about her store's bridal gown inventory. Her friendly demeanor & knowledge about all the dresses put me at ease immediately. Having so many gowns in stock in a variety of sizes is a huge plus as well. I loved that belts, veils, accessories, lace jackets, etc were introduced at times when Karen thought they would be helpful & would give the already gorgeous gowns I was trying on a little some 'extra'. I ended up purchasing the first gown I tried on (& still dream about it nightly...I'm so in love). Can't wait to wear it on my wedding day! I also returned to the store a couple of weeks later to purchase a veil. Thank you Karen & Milk & Honey for a FANTASTIC wedding gown experience.

Milk and Honey was the first bridal salon I went to in searching for my dress, and they were truly amazing. From the moment I walked in, I loved the vibe- it's a smaller shop which allows Brooke and Diane, the owner and manager who will be the two people you work with, to curate some great inventory and really get to know their customers. Right off the bat, when I explained the type of dresses I was looking for, Brooke pulled a set of 3-4 dresses that absolutely nailed what I was looking for. She had great insight into how the dresses would actually wear on a wedding day, which ended up being super helpful when I was considering sleeves, neckline, etc.. I was prepared to feel very self-conscious about my weight in my appointment, and did in appointments at other shops, but Brooke made me feel beautiful the entire time. Finally, I have to plug their accessories collection. My very favorite part of my wedding outfit was my one-of-a-kind veil that I purchased from my details appointment, and they have tons of jewelry, belts, etc. as well. Brooke and Diane definitely have a full outfit in mind when they're helping you- it felt more like going to a stylist than a bridal dress shop. This should definitely be your first stop looking for a wedding dress! -

All the samples are available in bigger sizes, which helped me as a plus size woman! I'm so incredibly happy I got my dress from here!
