Mike Walsh DJ Entertainment were amazing. I met Mike at a bridal show in Joliet, Illinois. He and his assistant were in contact with me every step of the way through my wedding planning experience. I was able to get in contact with him the same day when I had questions or concerns. All of my guests (about 160 total) loved the music and the entertainment, as well as the colorful up lighting and gobo. The majority of the guests were on the dance floor the whole night. The music flowed well, all of our songs that we requested were played and all of our needs were met. I was at first skeptical (like I normally am) about choosing a DJ that I didn't know much about (except for them MCing the bridal show). I was completely happy and they exceeded my expectations. They made my wedding a success. Thank you Mike Walsh!!

Mike was an amazing choice for our ceremony and reception! My husband recorded music for the ceremony and we had a few surprises during the reception and Mike made everything super simple. Everyone danced through the wheel reception thanks to these guys! They helped make the night even more memorable!

Mike Walsh was the DJ at our fundraising Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency. He provided the perfect accompanying music to keep our community excited for the event and also provided a sound system and mic for opening speeches. He was very professional, responded promptly to all email requests, and arrived early to set up so he was ready to play music at the start of the event registration.

Thank you, Mike, for making our annual event better than it has ever been! We had so many compliments from event participants and sponsors that your services were the perfect addition to a great day!

I really enjoyed working with Mike & JoJo, they made things very simple and worry-free. Communication with them was easy and response time was quick. We weren't too particular about our reception music, but they did an excellent job keeping the dance floor packed!! We had a great time, and there were no worries about bouquet toss, special dances, cutting of the cake, etc. they were on top of it!! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Cannot thank Mike enough! You completely made our reception everything we could hope and dream of! You had everyone dancing like maniacs (even to the point my new husband ripped his pants). They were AMAZING!!! They worked with me all the way, and were so patient and professional when the craziness of the day led us a little bit off schedule. SO attentive, and SO great with making sure our day was perfect! They also provided the music and mic for the ceremony, which worked out so beautiful. The ceremony and reception were both outside, and even though it was about 55 degrees outside, they kept people dancing and partying all night long!! It was the perfect day, and Mike and Jojo definitely played a HUGE role in the perfectness! Thank you guys, hope you had some fun, I know we sure did!!! :)

Mike & JoJo were extremely professional and thoughtful in planning our son's wedding reception music. The preplanning meeting between Mike and the bride and groom lasted several hours and covered everything imagineable. Both our son and daughter in law were able to choose all of their music. We had an American/Mexican wedding and the music reflected both cultures throughout the night.

Everyone danced throughout the evening, and that is what a wedding is all about. The variety of music pleased all ages until the very end of the night. I would like to add that our reception was in a very plain and uninteresting hall that was transformed by our table decorations and especially by the uplighting that the DJ provided. The room looked beautiful, and I would highly recommend including the uplighting in your choices when planning with Mike or JoJo. The music can make or break a reception, and we are SO HAPPY we selected this DJ service. We would rate Mike Walsh DJ Entertainment 10 stars if we could!

DJ Mike was by far the best DJ we interviewed for our wedding. We were looking for a professional that would play a wide variety of music, add our own special songs, have a duel set up (for ceremony and reception), and who knew how to write a proper contract. He responded quickly to emails and texts, was extremely friendly and low key, and didn't pressure us for a sale what-so-ever. His website was very user friendly and a great resource! I HIGHLY recommend DJ Mike for any special event!!

I can't say how happy we and all attendees were with the services you provided. We had DJ Jojo as our DJ for the wedding and he was absolutely great! He was super flexible with us and made us feel very comfortable with all the wedding arrangements. The day of the wedding he was prompt and professional and was so much fun! The uplighting was a definite plus! So glad we had him as our DJ!

We are a non for profit organization and they were the DJs at our opening day parade. They did awesome and kept the kids going. I will be using them next year and recommend them to anyone looking for a fun DJ.

My wife and I were looking for the cheapest DJ we could find, and with that we expected lower quality service. We were more than pleasantly surprised when we sat down with Mike for the first time and found that we both left thinking we were getting better service than from the other places charging at least $300 more.

It was the best experience we could have asked for from our DJ. Extremely professional, great interactions and quick responses, and all at a price that no one else can beat.

Mike and JoJo were great at our wedding! While preparing for the wedding, Mike reviewed our playlist of songs, providing great suggestions on timeline of events and how to keep the party going with our small (120 guest) wedding. Throughout the night Mike and JoJo would check in with us (bride and groom) to make sure guest song requests were ok with us as well as to let us know when something important was coming up so we were ready! They were great to work with, very flexible and were a great presence in the room without being the focus of the reception. They appropriately announced what was going on so our guests knew where to focus their attention and not miss a beat! I highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

Best DJs ever! I knew when I read all of the good reviews that this is who would be best for us on our special day! That was an under statement! Mike was really great from the first time we met. He was so quick to respond to any questions we had and was very polite. He took care of so many details for us and did his best to make everything run as smoothly as possible! The uplighting was AMAZING and all of our guests loved it! I would get married all over again just to have him and JoJo DJ the event! ;) A+++ to these guys! Thanks for making our wedding awesome!!

Picking our DJ was the absolute easiest part of our wedding planning, we have several friends that have used Mike Walsh as their DJ or have been to an event where Mike has provided the music entertainment. We had heard nothing but wonderful reviews and praises of the amazing job he does!! From beginning to end, he was organized, informative, helpful, and reassuring--- exactly what every bride needs during this stressful time. When it came to our actual reception day, everything he did was perfection. Mike worked diligently at keeping our event on schedule (absolutely wonderful at corralling the busy bride and groom), the lighting that he provided was outstanding and added a great touch to the event, and our guests enjoyed themselves as he played the music selection we discussed prior at our meeting. DJ Mike was absolutely awesome to work with. Before the wedding he was extremely helpful and responded to all of our questions as quickly as possible. He even responded to an email while he was on vacation! They did a great job of uplighting our venue and making it look great before and during the dancing. My wedding was last night. I am very impressed with the DJ. He made sure we ran on schedule and was very flexible with changes. If I emailed him with a question, he responded back very quickly! DJ Mike was the perfect choice for our wedding. Picking a DJ was the one choice I was afraid of during the wedding process, mostly because no one would call me back. After waiting 2 weeks for a DJ recommendation from a friend to return my phone call, I had come across DJ Mike Walsh's website.

Mike called back the very next day and was very easy to talk to about any questions or concerns even over the phone I was sure he was a perfect for our big day. After the first meeting my husband completely agreed, and it was all smooth sailing from then on. Everything came out beautiful, the custom BOGO, the lighting, Mike and JoJo did an amazing job.

I would absolutely, and did recommend them to my friends and they just got married this past weekend. DJ Mike & JoJo did not disappoint, we all had a great time! You guys are awesome!

Mike and JoJo did a great job in helping us celebrate our wedding. From the planning stage through the ceremony and reception Mike was there to make everything perfect. The lighting was fantastic. The song selection kept our guests on the dance floor and the props made for some interesting pictures. Mike worked to assure our event went smoothly. Mike Walsh DJ Entertainment was the DJ for a teen dance held by the Manhattan Irish Fest. They did a fantastic job & were very friendly. I feel that the kids had a great time. The kids especially liked the confetti cannon. I would definitely recommend them!

I thought DJ Mike was an amazing DJ!!! He listened to all of our requests, and answered all of the questions we had before our reception. He played an awesome mix of music, and all of our guests said how great the music was.

DJ Mike Walsh was amazing!! He was very helpful and prompt with any questions that I had regarding his services and he was really flexible. His number one priority was making our ceremony and reception exactly what we wanted and he couldn't have done better. Not only did Mike provide excellent DJ services, he also took control of keeping my reception structured and on time so I didn't have to stress. I actually got to sit and really enjoy my special day! My guests had an amazing time, especially with the silly props that he provided for our reception. I would most definently use Mike again and would recommend him to anyone !!! We had an amazing time working with Mike. He was fantastic at finding us songs that were not available on his selection list. He came out to meet with us with ample time to make any changes before the date. He went over every little detail about the services he was providing to us including making sure to check all guest requests before playing them, just incase it was something that we were not interested in having played. I would recomend his services to anyone looking for an affordable DJ with amazing service. We're still trying to find an excuse to throw another party just so we can use him again.

Our event was a Teen Dance. Mike definitely kept the kids engaged. He also made sure the coodinator's goals were met. And he also made sure that the music was appropriate, especially any requests that were made. One more thing, the confetti cannon...worth every penny. The kids loved it! Our event was definitely a success because of DJ Mike. Thank you.

We used Mike for our wedding reception and I couldn't have been happier with the way things panned out. All other vendors I contacted made it seem like such a cold business transaction and gave a cookie-cutter response on my inquiry but Mike was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable every step of the way. He really gave a personal feel to the whole process and that goes a long way with something as important as the presentation and music selection for a wedding.

His website was very intuitive and his song database is quite extensive. The meeting a few weeks before the reception really helped to iron out all the details and was actually pretty quick. I walked away knowing that everything was taken care of.

The amazing uplighting and professionalism he provided during the reception was one of my personal highlights of the nite. The table of "party hats" also kept the handful of kids we had there entertained (as well as some of the adult "kids"). The music selection was upbeat and never stale and he had no problems with friends and family coming up to make requests (even a few polka songs!).

DJ Mike Walsh was a diamond in the rough amongst all the same "production companies" that try to make you feel like another transaction. I would highly recommend him for any event and thank him for making our nite truly worry-free and a lot of fun!

Michael was our DJ for both the ceremony and reception and he was outstanding from beginning to end! Prior to the wedding day Michael met with us to go over our song selections, lighting, the timeline of reception events and of course answer all of our questions. He also came to our rehearsal which was great because everyone including Michael was able to run through and get an idea of how the ceremony would go. On our wedding day Michael did a wonderful job making sure everything ran smoothly! He kept the reception moving and guided my husband and me through everything (cake, dances, garter/bouquet). We didn't have to worry about a thing from start to finish!

My bride and I choose Mike because he came highly recommended from a friend when we began shopping for dj's. He did not disappoint. His method was simple and effective, tell him what you want, tell him what you don't. His website was easy to navigate and even had a constantly updated top 200 hits. During the consult he walked us through every part of the wedding and reception down to the finest detail. We left time during the reception for our guests to make requests, and based on all the music we picked (which was a wide variety of music) he filled in the gaps flawlessly. He even had a prop table for our guests to play with while they danced. If I ever need a dj again or a reference i would highly recommend him, thanks again Mike for making our special night so special

DJ Mike will NOT let you down!! He had gone above and beyond the expectations we had for a DJ! DJ Mike had kept our wedding reception running smoothly and on time. He was wonderful to work with!!!! He had help us create the perfect wedding reception! In a heart beat we would hire DJ Mike as our DJ again! You will NOT be disappointed!!!!!!

Mike was amazing and we will recommend him to any who are in need of a DJ. It was a GREAT night and we have received several compliments on how much fun the reception was .... and everyone knows the DJ makes or breaks the party! Great job, Mike!

On 10/10/10, Mike was the dj for my wedding. He did a FANTASTIC job! To begin with, Mike totally saved us and agreed to do our wedding reception and ceremony in about a week and a half notice! We had a dj drop us about 2 weeks before our wedding, even though we had them booked for about a year. Mike was not only agreeable, but sat down with us immediately to go over details we hadn't even thought about. He made everything for us EXTREMELY easy! He is very personable and easy going. He pays attention to details and will give you whatever you ask for. We picked out a lot of music, and Mike made sure he had everything that we needed! He was very easy to get a hold of and triple checked everything for us to be sure everything was just right! We were more than fortunate to have the other dj flake on us so that we could get Mike! It was a God send! I will DEFINITELY refer Mike to my friend and family for their next event because he was so good at what he did and was so affordable:)

I hired Mike for my mom and dad's 25th wedding anniversary. He did a awesome job, very professional and a ton of fun! He had every and any kinda music i needed. I look forward to working with him again in the future. Thank you Mike for making that night so memorable for my family!
