Perfect DJ!

Mike was the MC and DJ at our wedding in Kaufman, TX and we couldn't be happier with our decision! He was extremely detail oriented, made sure that our music tastes were represented and that the flow of the night was perfect! He was so much more than someone who just played music. He helped plan out the play-by-play for the entire day, and had such helpful advice from his extensive wedding experience! The success of the wedding is largely attributed to him!

Mike was GREAT!

Mike was GREAT! He was always available to answer questions or set up extra phone calls. We did not have a day of coordinator so Mike was extremely helpful in running our reception. We would recommend Mike to anyone looking for a fun, reliable, and helpful MC and would definitely hire him again!

Mike was everything we needed!

I know first-hand how intimidating it is finding all the right vendors for your wedding. I mean the day has to be PERFECT, right? Well I can honestly say you can stop your search for a wedding DJ and hire Mike! He is an all-in-one DJ and Master of Ceremonies, meaning he will help with all the announcements and keep your reception on schedule without you even having to think about it! He is super friendly and genuinely cares about the bride and groom having the perfect night. He even helped us set up our slide show and set up some awesome up-lighting for the finishing touch on our room. He kept us on the dance floor all night and played a little bit for all our age groups to make sure every guest was having a good time! He was very easy to work with and met with us in person, on the phone, through text, or whatever worked best for this stressed out bride! Haha! And the icing on the cake was his pricing! His services are very reasonably priced for the service he delivers. I could go on and on, but just hire DJ Mike to find out for yourself! You won't be disappointed! :)

The Absolute Best. 100/100!

If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding, look no further! We got married in May, and Mike was such a huge part of making the wedding a success. He first stuck out to me during our vendor search early in our planning, because he was so personable and professional. Just in speaking with him over the phone I could tell that he was going to do an awesome job. His communication between "signing" with him and the actual wedding night was always super quick, friendly, and professional. We then met with him for our main planning meeting about a month or two out from our date. He was super flexible with his time, and even went out of his way to meet with us on a week night after we got off work in downtown Dallas. Needless to say, we were extremely stressed out about the wedding, but Mike made us feel so much more confident and comfortable about the whole thing. He truly helped pull our "day of" plan together. He offered well-thought-out opinions and tips, that I honestly think would rival many actual wedding planners. He perfectly balanced our ideas and vision with the practicality of his experience.

Mike ran the show on our wedding day... he was a true "master of ceremonies", and not just a guy that played some music. He was seriously perfect! He was fun, flexible, professional... I honestly can't say enough good things about him. I will recommend him any chance that I get, and hope he knows how glad we were to have him as part of our wedding. Thanks Mike!

Amazing Master of Ceremonies

We attended our friends' wedding and took notice that Mike did a great job of keeping it on track and really directing it naturally. We quickly realized that his experience as "master of ceremonies" would be extremely valuable, so we had to book him for our wedding this past April as well.

Mike is truly worth every penny, and is very detail-oriented. He took the time to chat with us and get to know us, and made sure that we thought through every detail of the wedding, providing questionnaires that helped us brainstorm on our own time as well. It felt like a true collaboration as we bounced ideas off each other, and he had the song-editing skills to make our ideas come to life in a way we could never have done by ourselves or with a part-time DJ.

Much like at our friends' wedding, at ours he was an essential element, and had an uncanny ability to move guests naturally where they needed to be. Thank you so much, Mike, for helping make our wedding perfect - we couldn't have done it without you!

Master of The Flow

Mike was absolutely amazing. We had to come up with a way to have a fun Star Wars/Harry Potter Wedding for us and classy wedding for our family. He helped us navigate the whole experience. He was so talented in music selection and making sure they night flowed perfectly.

Mike did a fantastic job for my husband's 40th surprise party! He kept the party flowing and was so accommodating when I needed to change things up for prayer or some toasts. He was certainly the master of ceremonies which was so critical when there are so many details to entertaining. All the guests danced and none of us wanted the night to end!!!

Mike was absolutely amazing! He worked with us on everything from the order of events, lighting, timing of everything and made sure we thought about details we didn't think about before the wedding day! He was great at making sure that we were happy throughout the wedding night and that the crowd was happy as well. He was a great MC and worked with our very diverse wedding party. We had a Mariachi for an hour during cocktail hour and he made sure that the times before and after those times were organized and well done. We loved working with him and our wedding day would not have been as stress free as it was without him on our team! Not to mention we had a very challenging venue acoustically and 300 guests! He was happy, energetic, and in tune with what we needed for our wedding to be absolutely perfect!

At the 11th hour we had to change our venue due to FBI taking over our planned venue. Mike made the transition to the new venue, and we never missed a beat, pun intended! Mike provided music, lighting and sound for my daughters wedding ceremony and reception. The music was GREAT and all the important happenings during the reception were right on time. Mike, thank you for being so flexible, keeping us all on the timeline and providing music that all of our guest loved! You kept the dance floor full with your selections. You are AWESOME!!!

Mike was great to work with all through our planning! We were all hesitant at first booking a DJ - we thought that maybe we didn't need one. Looking back, we now see how crazy we were! Mike did not just give us music for our ceremony and reception, but he also did the lighting and sound set up for THREE DIFFERENT ROOMS! He was also the Master of Ceremony for most of the night, ushering guests from one room to another. He stayed from start to finish and was always on top of everything. He made sure our schedule and timeline was on and that we were happy with where we were at all times. He made sure that the guests were happy and having fun! The night would not have been the same without him!

Mike was extremely organized and helpful with the whole process. He had no hidden fees and did everything from editing the ceremony music, lighting for the reception, and indoor/outdoor music for our reception.
He checked on us throughout the ceremony and definitely helped keep us on track.
We have gotten several compliments about his choice and flow in music throughout the different parts of the reception.

We can't say enough great things about Mike. He provided the guidance we needed and basically helped plan our whole ceremony and reception. As we were searching for a DJ, we quickly learned there are many flaky vendors in this industry and we are so glad we splurged on this portion of the event and hired Mike. He was extremely responsive, professional, and super helpful. There were some last minute changes throughout the evening and he easily adapted and rolled with it. He kept the crowd moving and we had so many compliments on the great work he did. He was the DJ for my best friends wedding four years ago and am so thankful for her recommendation!

Mike was the most excellent choice we could have made for our wedding. His expertise and experience made our wedding as successful as I could ever had imagined. He was flexible up the end as we had to move our wedding from the outside venue to the indoor venue in a matter of minutes as a storm blew in from nowhere. Mike was more than just a DJ/MC at our wedding, he was an active part of the planning process and helped ensure that the day flowed smoothly. Although my wife and I had a wedding day coordinator, there were a number of details that Mike's experience helped catch that we otherwise would've missed and he gave us excellent advice in everything wedding related. I cannot say in words how helpful he was for our entire wedding day.

When it came to actual music and MCing, Mike knocked it out of the park. We had a very diverse taste of music and Mike not only satisfied every one of our song/genre requests but needed only general direction in what types of music we wanted and he took it from there. He was always prompt in responding and made everything so easy for us!

I truly cannot say enough to praise Mike on the level of service and talent he has! I would recommend him to everyone!

Mike is amazing. He truly went above and beyond for our wedding. I had so many questions along the way and he was able to help me with every aspect. A Dj would not have been able to accomplish what Mike did for our wedding, he was so helpful in answering questions about the order of the ceremony, music suggestions, and helped plan the entire flow and coordination of our day. Mike Mahnich provided so much more than a DJ normally would. He took a lot of time with us going over all the details of our ceremony and offering suggestions such as what part of the song we should tell the strings to begin at in order to hear the climatic part during the bride's entrance. He provided uplighting, initials on the wall, and the best choices of music for dancing. He kept the essential activities of the reception flowing and worked with our special music singer to ensure that the sound was excellent. He brings so much to the table that I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

If you are reading this, hire Mike right now. Music is always something that was important to my husband and I so we wanted a good DJ, but we had no idea how invaluable Mike's services would be. Both my husband and I are active duty military living outside of Texas and we had many concerns about planning a wedding from afar. Mike not only addressed all of our concerns, but after every time we spoke with him, he left us only more relieved and excited for our wedding. Mike responded to every email and phone call in a timely manner, brought up ideas and topics that my husband and I never even considered, and was instrumental in bringing the ideas we had for our wedding to life. We wanted a traditional ceremony, a nice cocktail hour and dinner where everyone could mingle, and then a fun reception where everyone could dance. Mike provided all of that and had everyone from the kids to the twentysomethings to grandma and grandpa dancing under the stars!
Mike's professionalism, attention to detail, and flawless execution provided for stress-free pre-wedding days and an amazing and memorable wedding. Thank you Mike!

Attention BRIDES! Mike Mahnich was truly an amazing DJ and MC. My husband and I cannot stop talking about how well the wedding went and we owe the majority of that to Mike! Mike kept the party moving, was attentive to us and our families the entire evening, and genuinely cared that everyone was having a great time. If it weren't for Mike's constant guidance and knowledge throughout the entire wedding planning process, I'm not sure our big day would have been quite as perfect as it was. We could not have been happier with Mike and his MC / DJ services! Mike was the first and only DJ we talked to and had such a good vibe from our first meeting that we immediately booked him.

Being a first time bride, I was somewhat niave on what exactly to expect. Mike wallked us through the whole process along the way and made everything easy! More than that, I honestly could not have gotten through the night without Mike. He kept things moving just right - always having a pulse on our guests and what was needed. He kept us moving step by step throughout the night.

We were married at the Arboretum in Dallas, Tx which can provide it's own challenges from a timing standpoint. Mike kept things on schedule and helped calm my worries by just taking each moment in stride and guiding us through the evenings schedule. It was wonderful and I know my niece will be as equally happy when he does her wedding in October! Thank you Mike for a wonderful night and making everything "just right"!

Mike made our wedding the success it was. Best investment we made throughout our wedding planning. His planning process before hand was so helpful. Mike was BEYOND amazing!! I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do for music, and he helped me every step of the way! I was very impressed with Mike. He covered all aspects of the wedding time line at our introduction meeting. He was very flexible with his meeting time and payment arrangements. He was on top of very thing. As you know there are so many things to worry about when putting on a wedding. I did not have to worry about the DJ.

The day of the event everyone enjoyed his music and Mike had everyone dancing! Mike was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend his services!

Mike is a a great DJ and very professional. Having him as master of ceremonies takes an enormous amount of pressure off me as coordinator. We operate a vendor network and have moved Mike to the top of our list in his category. He is professional and very easy to work with. Mike did a fabulous job. He provided us with a wireless mike for the ceremony and has us test it beforehand to make sure it worked flawlessly. Not only did he deliver on wonderful music, he also MCed the entire reception which flowed perfectly. We didn't have a wedding coordinator and Mike fulfilled that role by providing his considerable knowledge. He even arranged for the buffet food to instead be served to the bride and groom! Everyone commented on how much fun they had at the reception. And all the events occurred on time and as expected-no missteps at all! I am grateful we found Mike and would wholeheartedly recommend him.

We saw Mike's web site and met with him before making our decision to hire him and was very please with how he took charge of many things going on including organizing other vendors. I would refer him to anyone wanting a professional. You can always get cheaper DJ'S but you only get married once!!!

DJ Mike was excellent! He really worked with me on making sure I got exactly what I wanted out of the reception. It's obvious he has been doing this a long time because he was so knowledgable. He was honest with me when I asked questions about what would work best. The most important thing was that our reception was behind an hour and he still managed to get everything we wanted accomplished and it ran very smoothly. Mike was GREAT! Although he had just gotten out of the hospital--poor guy!--he met with us about a week before the wedding to go over everything and work out a detailed timeline. He was awesome! Mike was great! He was in touch and there for me through the whole planning process. He was great when I needed professional advice about vendors or which traditions fit our personality.

Mike was awesome! Our dance floor was not big enough for all the dancers we had! He got everyone involved. I also did not worry one bit about my guest when we were taking pictures after the ceremony. I felt comfortable that Mike had them entertained and taken care of.

Mike was excellent! He was professional yet fun. He really helped me get what I wanted out of my wedding day and even helped me pull together some extra wedding details.

As far as value goes, Mike was worth every penny. He worked with me for over two hours to decide on music for my special day. He even edited songs as I requested.

Mike was very helpful. I found him while reading reviews online. I was a little worried about the price, but I can't say enough about his services. When I talked to him the first time, I knew he was going to be good. He answered questions I had not even thought about. He met with me, the bride and groom several times, went to the venue with us, he is very nice and flexable. I would recomend him to any one. My daughters wedding and reception was a blast, I never worried about the time line because Mike kept it moving!!!!

Mike was a very organized and professional MC/DJ. After we had our meeting discussing our music and ceremony we were really impressed with how thorough he was. We didn't have a solid schedule for the wedding day and he helped us plan it with his experience. The night of the wedding he didn't just set the mood, he was the one that kept us on schedule. He was like a day of planner! We didn't have to worry about staying on schedule, we just relaxed and enjoyed our wedding. Which is how it should be.

DJ Mike is our "go-to" person for all of our events. He is always available when given notice, quick to respond, arrives early to set up, and stays involved until the very end every time. He plays a variety of music, which makes him a great pick for a diverse audience. He also goes above and beyond to find tunes to set the mood for each specific event theme or requests for the evening. We wouldn't choose anyone else!

Mike was an awesome DJ for our event. He played a great mix of music and really read the crowd. He played requested songs and crowd pleasers. Our party would not have been as fun without his service.
Mike was flexible with his schedule and stayed longer than our original agreement which really pleased our guests.

This was a great event! All of our guests had an enjoyable time.

I highly recommend Mike Mahnich and will call him again for our next important party/event.

Mike was a wonderful DJ for our Party! He arrived early and was set up for the start of the party, and was very helpful in making announcements. Mike was a recommendation to me from a caterer that we were planning to use for our reception. Our original DJ went MIA, so we had to find another one on short notice. I called Mike, and he was able to meet with me the very same day. He explained everything that he does, showed me some video footage of events he has done, and overall just eased my mind about the stress of planning the reception. Mike is an all-inclusive DJ which means he brings professionalism, quality, top of the line equipment and lighting effects, and most importantly, he is super entertaining! Our reception was flawless thanks to Mike's ability to read our crowd, and we had so many people talking about him! He always went above and beyond the standard "DJ" call of duty, and was TRULY a master of our ceremony! We met with Mike before the wedding to give him our list of "plays" and "don't plays" and he generally stuck to our list. Our guests were on the dance floor almost the whole night and everyone told us they had a lot of fun. Mike also helped us to set up for and play a video at the last minute, which was very helpful.

We jointly developed a schedule of events with Mike for the wedding reception, such as entrance, dances, cake cutting, video, etc. However, on the wedding day, Mike did not follow the agreed upon schedule, which caused some confusion and awkward transitions for us and for the other vendors at the wedding. Overall, we and our guests had a lot of fun, but it all would have gone smoother if the original schedule was followed.
