Mike is INCREDIBLE! From the moment we spoke to Mike we knew we were going to pick him to do our wedding. My fiancé and I have only done our engagement shoot with him so far and loved every moment of it. We both don’t always feel comfortable in front of a camera but Mike definitely knew what to say and show us what to do. He made us feel very comfortable and the pictures are came out really natural. He also gave us great suggestions on where to take our pictures. We can’t wait for our wedding! -

All I can say is wow! And so will all your friends and family when they see your photos. Mike is so talented and creative. Not to mention he is super fun to work with. He will make everyone feel comfortable and look natural. He is also extremely reliable and will make sure to catch every detail. He got to our venue super early on our wedding day and was offering to help while also reassuring me that we have plenty of time. Mike rocks! -

I don't even know where to begin to explain how amazing Mike is. The first and most important part of working with him is that from the beginning, Mike makes you feel like you are one of his friends you've known forever- which makes the whole process of taking photos so much more fun and easy!
As far as our big day, most of the time we didn't even notice he was there! And when we did, he was having a good time himself and making us feel like our wedding was the best one he had ever been to (I'm sure he had been to better even though ours was pretty great ;)).
Our photos turned out perfectly! Between him and his second shooter Ruben, who was also awesome, they got all the angles and every possible shot I could have thought of! I was really impressed by all the great candids they got too.
If you are looking for a photographer who will be fun to work with and give you breathtaking pictures at the end, look no further than Mike! He is definitely the best in Orange County, that's for sure! -

Katie Sent on 06/20/2018I wish I could give Mike more stars! He was amazing, all of my guests told me how much they loved our photographer! Mike went above and beyond all of my expectations; he came in the party bus with us so he could get some fun shots, he had soo many great ideas for photos and helped make the day run smoothly. His assistant Ruben was also great to work with. Both guys were really professional and I can't wait to use Mike for more events!

My husband and I are very awkward people when it comes to getting our picture taken and let me tell you Mike made us feel so comfortable and it was so much fun! I couldn't believe how amazing our engagement photos turned out. It made it that more exciting during the wedding knowing our photos were going to turn out perfect (which the did). Mike was referred to us by a friend and we were so lucky! You can not go wrong with having Mike as your photographer! His work is phenomenal!

Andrianna Sent on 02/25/2018I am obsessed with Mike! He is so talented. He took so many gorgeous pictures during our engagement shoot, its hard to decide which ones I love best. He recently shot our wedding and the sneak peaks he sent me for that day are amazing! He is very professional, arrives on time (even early), and I felt he went above and beyond for us. He is also very comfortable, I felt like I was working with an old friend that I have known for years. He has worked with at least 5 couples I know and they are all extremely happy with their photo's. You will have these pictures for a lifetime. He is worth it! My husband wants to add that he impressed him (that's hard to do) and very professional. Just a good dude!

Jessica Sent on 09/29/2013I can't put into words how impressed we were with Mike! He was extremely professional and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the day. He also brought an second photographer to ensure he captured every moment. We were so impressed that he actually went to our venue (an hour and a half away) the week before the wedding to check out the location and the lighting during our ceremony. He has such an eye for detail and taking the perfect picture. He also worked very well with the videographer, which of course, is essential. As if that's not enough, he is the nicest guy, making every moment fun and comfortable. He is definitely a great choice if you need a photographer!!!

My husband and I are not the most comfortable behind a camera, especially when taking intimate photos. I was worried that my awkwardness would make our engagement photos look super corny and staged. That was not even an issue with Mike. Mike has such a calming and fun personality that he made our photo sessions effortless. He’s great at giving directions, dos and don’t’s, and after working with him for our engagement session, our wedding day was a breeze.
Our engagement photos were taken in scenic areas of Laguna Beach and they came out so perfectly. The only thing we would’ve changed were one of our outfits. He’s got a keen eye for beauty and knowing what works for different couples.
Mike’s passion for photography reveals itself in his devotion to his clients. As most couples planning a wedding know, the costs add up by the thousands. Mike was incredibly understanding when it came to budgeting and was more interested in making sure we had the services we needed for our wedding day than making a quick buck.
On our wedding day, Mike was punctual and the perfect mix of fun and assertive. My husband and I were very clear that we wanted to enjoy our wedding and so in order to do so we needed to be quick with getting the photos done in a timely manner. Mike was direct and kept it moving while making sure the bridal party was all in line. We spent most of our wedding with Mike by our side and we had no issues with that. He made sure we were enjoying ourselves and that there was nothing but love in the air. All in all, we were blessed to have Mike be part of our wedding day and we look forward to seeing our wedding photos. God willing, Mike will be able to capture all our future special moments.

Joey Sent on 01/29/2020Late, unresponsive, didn't keep his contract
Our experience with Mike was so unfortunate. After he was recommended by one of our mutual friends, he showed up to our rehearsal dinner very late- at the last 30 minutes. He took over 4 months to get us our pictures back, when he promised them in 2 from our written contract. He also has still not given us our wedding album which we paid $1500 for and he does not answer email or his phone to discuss the items he still owes us (canvas and email). Our wedding was almost 9 months ago--We are so disappointed because he seemed like such a nice guy. He just did not deliver on his contract. -

My experience is exactly like the few that have been written recently. I really hate to post this as well because we had such a great wedding day with Mike, but our wedding day was 10/19/19 and our contract stated we would have them within 6-8 weeks, and we are now going on 18 weeks without photos. The worst part is that Mike is completely unresponsive to our calls, emails and messages. We have had ZERO communication from him as of mid-november last year. I am writing this review because I sent an email to him today and I was notified that the email no longer exists. I am running out of options and worry that I may never see our wedding photos that we have paid in full for.
I have been in contact with multiple other couples who were married around the same time and are all having the exact same issue. If you are considering him for your wedding, please look at all the recent reviews on yelp and other wedding sites.
