  Highly Recommend!

  One of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process was to hire Mickaela. She has one of the most beautiful voices we've ever heard and our guests remarked on this as well. She made our ceremony feel absolutely magical and it definitely wouldn't have been the same without her. She is also extremely communicative and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend Mikaela to any couple planning their wedding!

  Mikaela and Kevin are the BEST!

  We hired Mikaela and her partner Kevin to perform live during our ceremony and DJ our reception. Her performances were SO beautiful - my only regret is that I (as the bride) couldn't be in the room to hear her perform pre-ceremony! She kept the dance floor moving all night, was very attuned to our guests and requests, and was so easy to work with. Thank you Mikaela and Kevin for an amazing night - we are so grateful for you both!

  Most memorable ceremony music ever

  Mikaela made our ceremony so freakin magical! I only wish I was a guest at my own wedding to be able to really enjoy her performance for the ceremony and cocktail hour. We are still getting compliments from our guests that our ceremony music is one they will never forget. Do yourselves a favor and book Mikaela! We added on a Cellist but her husband for guitar would be just as amazing :)

  Wedding day

  Mikaela and her husband were amazing! They played at my ceremony and cocktail hour. Every song they performed was perfect! Mikaela was sooo easy to communicate with starting at the first email I sent her through the entire wedding process! Having Mikaela perform at my wedding added the perfect touch! Thank you soo much Mikaela!

  Beyond amazing!!

  This was the perfect mix that we were looking for—it was beautiful/soft/emotional for our ceremony, and then it turned to exciting/fun/louder for everyone to dance at the reception. They offered a template for us to fill out to make sure we could have exactly experience we were looking for and they delivered—it was tailored to us and what we envisioned.
  They are phenomenal musicians and really understand mood and vibe—very talented and just wonderful to have at our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with their performance and professionalism. They were also flexible with our last minute ideas and requests.
  Again, perfect.

She was so responsive and helpful throughout the planning process as well. Last minute, my husband’s parents got Covid and were unable to make it- with Mikaela’s help, we were able to dedicate “Follow You Into the Dark” by Death Cab for Cutie to them via FaceTime. She 100% helped us turn lemons into lemonade and made a moment none of us will ever forget. Do yourself a favor and book Mikaela right now! You will not regret it!!

  Phenomenal wedding ceremony performer!

  From the moment I found Mikaela on Wedding Wire I knew I had to have her sing at our wedding. Gratefully, she was available on our wedding date. To say the least, our guest were in love with her performance. Our dream of a ceremony came to life with her beautiful voice 💕. Thank you, Mikaela! Oh, and I must mention, out of all my vendors she was by far the most easy going, the process was such so smooth. We appreciate you so much for learning two song that made out ceremony unique.

  Mikaela really made a difference! 10/10

  Wow Mikaela! What a beautiful experience you gave us!
  We hired Mikaela (solo with her piano) for our ceremony and cocktail hour and she 100% got the vibe I was going for. I wanted a laid back, 90's inspired vibe and Mikaela totally delivered.
  
  Everything turned into a blur when I walked down the aisle, but I heard wisps of Mikaela singing How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding. My eyes fill with tears as I think about it.

  1000% Would book her again!!!

  Highly Recommend booking Mikaela Kahn! Not only does she have an incredible voice, booking her was very easy. She is so professional and her repertoire is absolutely fabulous! I am a professional singer myself, so It was super important for me to find an artist that fit what I was looking for.
  So many of our wedding guests commented how she made our cocktail hour so special! She also made our first dance so sweet as well! There is something so unique and special about having a live singer! It sets a mood that no DJ can. I CAN'T RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH!

  Mikaela was such a lovely person to work with for our wedding. Not only is she a talented musician, she is also very skilled at communication and planning. She was communicative throughout the whole process and willing to understand the vision we had for our ceremony and cocktail hour music. She met with us several times to get ideas and inspiration for the set list and make sure everything was planned accordingly. The resources she has available online really helped us in our planning and I especially loved the song videos she has. Once I heard her singing, I knew she had to be in our wedding. We received SO many compliments from our guests about Mikaela's piano and singing skills. I am so grateful that we were able to have her and her talent guide us into and out of our ceremony. I highly recommend Mikaela!

  Just magical. Purely spellbinding.

  I still can't believe how magical Mikaela and her husband are. Their voices really tied together that soft, romantic atmosphere we dreamed of and we're so grateful for their presence. To describe it simply: she's an angel. Beautiful voice and incredibly sweet personality. She was wonderful to work with, worked in our song requests with ease, and is just an amazing person overall.
  
  And if you need someone to DJ too, she's your gal! It felt like she already had a good sense of the crowd by the time reception came about, and knew EXACTLY which songs we would vibe too. We received so many compliments about the music for the whole evening. It couldn't have been more perfect.

  We don't even know where to begin... Mikaela and her band exceeded our expectations. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. The band really knew how to keep guests on the dance floor at all times. If you're looking for a band that will give your wedding that BEST NIGHT EVER energy, look no further. Aside from providing the most beautiful tunes, Mikaela was also very accommodating with the unforeseen challenges the pandemic had for our plans. They were the first decision we made for our wedding planning and easily the best one. Thank you so much, Mikalea!

  Amazing!! Book her already!

  Mikaela was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding. When I first found her, I just knew I wanted to book her for our wedding. She really elevated and set the whole vibe for our brunch wedding. It felt like a relaxing Sunday in a coffee shop. I still get people asking me about her weeks later.

  Incredible!!! Mikaela is SO talented and so so kind!

  Mikaela is AMAZING and you NEED to have her play at your wedding ceremony or event!!! At first my husband and I weren't sure that we wanted a singer for our ceremony, and my mom happened to hear Mikaela play at an open house. She urgently told me I needed to go listen to Mikaela's voice on her website and WOW we were sold!!! Now I cannot imagine our ceremony without having had Mikaela there -- her voice is beautiful beyond words and I will never forget how special it was to walk down the aisle to her singing one of my husband and I's favorite love songs. All of our guests were asking us who she was and how we found her, and complimenting on how incredibly talented she is! Beyond her talent, Mikaela is also just such a genuine and kind person and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Our ceremony ran longer than planned, and Mikaela did not miss a beat -- she stayed late to play for our entire cocktail hour even though it was past our booking time, and she even stayed to sing at the reception with the band we hired (who's lead singer just happened to be her husband! How lucky were we?!) We truly feel so grateful that Mikaela was a part of our day and will call her again in a heartbeat the next time we have an event.

  As the mother of the bride, I made numerous trips to Austin to research venues and vendors. I heard Mikaela sing at one of the venues I visited. Her voice stopped me in my tracks! I could not leave! I passed Mikaela's information on to my daughter and her groom. They decided to engage Mikaela for the ceremony and cocktail hour but went with a band suggested by the wedding planner for the reception. The ceremony lasted about an hour longer than we planned. Mikaela continued to play throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and sang at the reception. What I did not know at the time was that her husband is the lead singer for the band we hired and Mikaela stayed to sing with him at the reception. I can't count how many of our guests commented on Mikaela's amazing voice and asked her name! Mikaela and her drop dead voice made the wedding! Almost all the wedding guests stayed until the bitter (actually sweet) end. The dance floor was crowded the entire evening due to Mikaela's gorgeous voice and the very talented band! I contacted Mikaela when I realized that she had not been compensated for her time since the ceremony ran long. She declined the additional compensation because she said that she decided to stay and sing with her husband in the band so she would have been there anyway. Not only is Mikaela one of the most talented performers ever, she is a true professional! I would hire Mikaela a thousand times over!!! If I could give her a thousand stars I would. I am looking forward to having Mikaela perform again!

  Would book the Duo again and again! They are THE best

  Mikaela and her husband are absolutely spectacular together! I planned a surprise proposal/proposal dinner with family and friends for my fiancé at La Cantera resort, they could not have fit the vibe and the occasion more perfectly. Mikaela was helpful from the very start with her email correspondence. She is so nice and made everything very easy! They got so many compliments that night from our guest, they absolutely loved them! You just can’t go wrong with booking the duo! They are part of the reason I would LOVE to re-live that night 1000 times over!

  Would Recommend to EVERYONE

  We saw Mikaela perform at a wedding open house in early 2020 and we knew we had to book her for our wedding. She was so sweet, responsive, patient (when we had to change our date because COVID) and helpful when we were choosing songs. At the wedding itself, she of course knocked it out of the park for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests absolutely LOVED her as well and we got so many compliments for her music. If anyone is looking for live music, there is no point in looking anywhere else. She'll absolutely blow you away!

At the wedding itself, she of course knocked it out of the park for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests absolutely LOVED her as well and we got so many compliments for her music. If anyone is looking for live music, there is no point in looking anywhere else. She'll absolutely blow you away!

  Voice of an Angel!

  WOW! Words will never be able to express how grateful my husband and I are to of found Mikaela when we did. I knew the second I heard her singing at our venues open house we NEEDED to have her play during our ceremony. Mikaela is beyond talented and has a really beautiful way of making the songs she plays unique and her own. From the second our wedding planner reached out, she was quick to respond and very easy to work with. She took what I had to say in regards to what we were looking for, and oh my goodness did she deliver!! Mikaela is beyond gifted and truly has a voice of an angel. Hearing her sing the song I was already so emotionally connected to was such an incredible feeling. As I was walking down the aisle, her voice made me feel all the emotions, butterflies and love in my heart for the man I was about to marry. I'll remember that moment for the rest of my life.
  If you are looking for a singer/pianist to play during your ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception... book her!!! - I promise you will be SO glad you did!

  Forever a fan! ♥️

  Mikaela was one of the BEST vendor decisions I made for my wedding. Her voice matched the dream I’ve had since I was a little girl. She is incredibly easy to work with and flexible. I gave her “smile vibes” for a theme and she crushed it. She had everyone smiling and talking about how beautiful she sounds. Walking down the isle was blissful. I could only hear her voice and I could only see my husband. It was a moment I’ll cherish forever! She is THE one. We were blessed to have her be apart of our special day and we are forever fans.

  Oh my goodness! Where do I even begin?! Y’all, Mikaela is incredible. We hired her to sing at our Catholic wedding ceremony, and she did such a beautiful job! We received so many compliments from all of our church guests saying how amazing the singing was. From the very beginning Mikaela was super responsive and answered all my questions!! Honestly, do not hesitate to hire her, she truly has the voice of an angel. Granted, once I heard her voice and I was walking down the aisle I did tear up a little bit because every moment of the ceremony was perfect thanks to her beautiful singing. Mikaela, thanks for making our wedding day so magical ❤️ From the bottom of my heart, Thomas and I thank you!!!!

  BOOK HER RIGHT NOW! Y'all, Mikaela's voice is as smooth as butter, light as champagne, and sweet as honey. I could listen to her sing all day! We hired Mikaela and her husband Jordan (who also is a very talented guitarist and singer) to sing for our ceremony and cocktail party. Mikaela was incredibly easy to work with and added so much to our day. All our guests raved about how talented they both are! Honestly, hearing Mikaela sing as I walked down the aisle was one of the parts of our wedding day I most was looking forward to, and she did not disappoint! I wish I lived in Austin so I could hear them sing more often, but we will no doubt be making trips from Dallas to see them perform! And I can't wait for them to release their new album so I actually CAN listen to Mikaela's voice all day! (Their band's name is Beth // James) I literally can't say enough good things about Mikaela and Jordan. If you have the chance to book them for your event, JUST DO IT. You will not regret it!!!

Mikaela’s smooth vocals and vibe enhanced the wedding ceremony so much and we also had her perform for the cocktail hour following. Our daughter picked out all the music and Mikaela worked with her to learn several new songs. All our guests were blown away by her talent and how beautiful the music was. Mikaela was easy to communicate with and is just a really sweet person. She was also gracious to work with us through the complications of planning and re-planning a COVID wedding.   Such a creative and fun duo to work with!

  We had such a great experience with Mikaela and Jordan! Mikaela is actually a friend of mine from elementary school. Over the years, I've watched her amazing career unfold from afar and always hoped it would work out for her to perform at my wedding.
  
  Due to the border closure, our wedding was held in a park at the border of the WA state and BC so that we could have guests from both countries join for our micro-wedding. Though Mikaela and Jordan couldn't actually join us in person due to COVID, they worked with us to record a song to walk down the aisle and created a music video for the virtual reception we held for family and friends later in the day.
  
  The recording quality was fantastic, and the music video was so fun to watch ( we kept it a surprise and saw it for the first time during the reception). Several friends even texted me during their video to tell me how much they enjoyed it.
  
  All this to say, we would've loved more than anything to have Mikaela and Jordan in person but this was an amazing plan B.
