Mikaela absolutely blew my mind with her talent and professionalism. From the photos and previous reviews I knew that she was a great artist but I was amazed with the quality and creativity that Mikaela has. My guests and I loved watching her work during the night and it was such a great conversation starter.
I received so many compliments and majority of my guests had no idea that a live wedding painter was even a thing. I will definitely be recommending Mikaela to any future brides/grooms that I know! -

Highlight of our wedding!
Mikaela did guest portraits at our wedding and it was the highlight of everyone’s day! She doubled as the entertainment and the party favors and people have not stopped talking about it 2 weeks later! She and her husband seriously went above and beyond for us, I think she painted every person at our wedding (we had about 100 guests) and the few people she didn’t get to during the wedding she still painted for us after the fact, which we totally didn’t expect. She also made a more detailed painting of our venue for us ahead of time! Her husband was so helpful and filmed a ton of content that she sent to us after and we loved the photos and clips he took. This was 10000x better than a photo booth or a wedding favor that your guests will leave behind, and Mikaela was a dream to work with, I cannot recommend her enough!! -

Amazing work!
Makayla was a guest at our wedding as her and her husband are friends of myself and my husband. She spontaneously decided to paint us and surprised me at our reception and I was so shocked! Her work is truly amazing and the detail is just so special. She not only did a painting of us but various guests at our wedding and they all were so happy with what she put together. She is truly a talented and genuine painter! -

This was easily the best choice of our entire wedding. So unique and so many people were in awe. Grab Mikaela while you can because this girl is going to blow up. We got married 11.10.23 and I'm writing this review 11.14.23 so we have not gotten our finished product yet, but from where she left it on our wedding night, I already love it! -

So Happy We Went With Mikaela!
I really liked the idea of having a live wedding painter at our wedding so I was extremely excited when I found Mikaela!
The concept was something that my husband to be and family members were unfamiliar with but by the end of our reception it was one of the most complimented aspects of the night!
Mikaela was kind, professional and did an amazingly beautiful job with our wedding painting! Thank you so much Mikaela for your hard work and dedication to helping us make our special day even more memorable!!!☺️❤️💍 -

Professional, Talented, Great Experience
I recently just got back my wedding painting and it is absolutely beautiful!
Not only is she super talented, but she had excellent communication with us both before and after the wedding. She was constantly giving us updates on the painting after our wedding.
If anyone is unsure to have a live wedding painter or not, do it!! We now have this beautiful piece to hang up in our home.

Mikaela made time for our state park elopement with only four days notice. We found a beautiful spot on a hill overlooking a meadow and pond, and Mikaela built a tapered, three-panel backdrop complete with paint job, garland, and dried flowers to dress it up. She captured the magic of our outdoor ceremony and made sure to include our dog. It was brief, yet Mikaela still captured the magic yo help us remember such a wonderful day.
On top of that, she painted our wedding scene as we exchanged vows in acrylic on wood with such great detail, I cried when I saw it. She even built a little frame for it, so it was ready to hang.
She’s professional, creative, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to catching your unique moments. Mikaela has taken our wedding, maternity, and in-home newborn photos. I imagine she’ll continue walking with us along our journey, and I’ll have to find more wall space to display our favorite memories.
11/10 would hire again -

What an amazing experience and product from Mikaela Genee K! Mikaela was so professional, friendly, great communication before and after the wedding! The guests absolutely loved watching the painting come to life! The two of us (and my oldest daughter who is four) even got to add a swirl of paint to make it that much more special! Plus Mikaela added in our dog who wasn’t allowed to be there at the venue! Worth every penny and would hire again and again! You won’t be disappointed! Definitely ale this part of your special day! It made ours so memorable! -

Phenomenal. Perfect. Talented.
This was a live painting and a suprise gift to me on my wedding day. It was the main highlight of conversation and compliments. Her skills and artwork blew people's minds away with how beautifully she captured our love. 100/10 I reccomend this. -
