Richard Mojica of Mijo Entertainment married us and his team provided music services during our wedding ceremony and reception. He curated a wonderful selection of music and made our wedding day very special. Richard has a unique ability to meet your needs, is very easy to work with and so authentic! He got to know our story and our vision for our wedding day. Our ceremony couldn’t be more beautiful and his words made the day as warm and welcoming as can be. At various points, Richard checked in with us, offered to meet in person, and helped facilitate our rehearsal dinner. At every stage, Richard put us and our loved ones at ease. Richard was highly communicative through the process, I felt he really cared for our union and treated it as such. I highly recommend him and his team!

You will not regret hiring MIJO

STOP and don’t look elsewhere! You will not find another better DJ than Mijo entertainment. Richard and his team went above and beyond for our wedding. When we first started planning our wedding in 2019, we had chosen to go with another DJ. Richard called my husband and I and assured us that we would not regret hiring his team instead. We entrusted Richard and as he had Said… we did not regret it all. Even in between all the postponements we went through due to the pandemic, Richard was always there to assist us. We also had Richard’s team come and set up lighting for the wedding and worked around with us as our coordinators helped get tarp rentals the day of due to un expected rain. We also had a Photo both provided by Mijo, which was amazing and a big hit at the wedding. Aside from the excellent service, Richard did an awesome job being the MC at our wedding. All of the guests raved how great the DJ was and to this day still bring up what great service Mijo entertainment provided. Seriously, don’t look anywhere else. You will also not regret hiring Mijo entertainment for your next event.

Nothing Short of Divine!

MIJO Entertainment is the reason that my family still and will continue to talk about my wedding day for years to come. Richard understands the pressure that goes along with wedding days and handles everything with grace. The cynosure of his work is his incredible ability to ramp up the energy in the guests, keeping them laughing, and wanting more! From the moment we spoke about my wedding, Richard and his team made it clear that you are their priority and really listen to what you want on your wedding day. He was the ABSOLUTE BEST to work with, maintaining direct communication and keen to resolve indecisiveness. By the time my wedding day rolled around, I was actually really calm and I attribute all of it to MIJO Entertainment. It really takes a true character with charisma to be as passionate about his work as and execute it as well as Richard does.
As for the music, I had discussed with Richard that I had some aunts/uncles that aren’t known for dancing at parties and he blew me away by crafting a song selection that not a single person was sitting down while music played. I was surprised to see my Tia Joba, a 70-year-old lady, dancing to everything from cumbia to merengue and enjoying every second of it! However, the best way to see how much fun everyone had is to look at their photos from the photobooth. The backdrop was cute, and the props were hilarious! I am SO glad we booked it, every family went home with at least 3 and as many as 15!!
The lighting his team did was also perfect! He takes into consideration the ambient of the venue, tailors the scene to your liking, and creates an atmosphere that stays throughout the day and looks just as good at night (considering my wedding was an outdoor wedding). I definitely recommend taking advantage of all that MIJO Entertainment has to offer, it will make your special day the most memorable ever.

I hired this company for DJ services and photo booth and gotta say, it was one heck of a wedding. Richard and his crew did an exceptional job in both the ceremony and reception parts of our wedding. Richard helped us with the timeline of our wedding and provided music in our ceremony. Joe, the DJ at the reception had some of the best music compilation I've heard in a long time. From 80s to Latin music, it was excellent. Jose the MC helped the wedding run flawlessly regardless of the small hiccups that we experienced. He helped us with everything and kept our guests up and pumped throughout the night. Chris at the photo booth had something for our guests to take home, photos. There was not one person not having a good time taking advantage of the photo booth. And the props were awesome! Overall the pricing was very affordable for what was offered. Definitely would hire MIJO Entertainment again! Thanks you guys!

Our experience with Richard and his team was more than amazing!!! Everyone loved the music and danced all night long it was so much fun. I can't begin to explain how great he did during our ceremony, it was definitely a day my husband and I will never forget. Our closest family and friends had so much fun and really enjoyed the photo booth that his team provided for us. We had a mixture of English and Spanish speakers and he was able to accommodate both which meant everything to us. We received so many compliments and by the end of the night everyone wanted Richards information to use him for all their events. You wont regret having him as your vendor!!! Thank you Richard for making our big day so amazing!

Richard and his team are just wonderful to work with! If only I could give them more stars!! After our initial meeting, we knew Mijo Entertainment was perfect for our wedding needs.

From our very first meeting, Richard was very professional and welcoming. He provided us with all the information we needed and answered all of our questions. Richard has been doing his for years and he sure has perfected his craft.

Working with vendors can be very daunting when it comes to wedding planning, but Richard and his team were such a pleasure to work with! Communication was fast and straight to the point. We always felt at ease when it came to planning out our music/entertainment. He was able to provided recommendations and even help us narrow down music genre.

My wedding was wonderful and Mijo Entertainment had a great part in making that happen. My guests had nothing but positive feedback! I had never been to a wedding where an MC is able to get everyone out of their chairs, Richard sure accomplished that at my very own wedding. We laughed and danced, had the best photo booth prints, and his up lighting and projection was spot on. I highly recommend booking with Mijo Entertainment. You will be glad you booked them!

Mijo Entertainment was highly recommended by our good friend Lee and my sister in law Angie and trust me when I say that Richard, AKA Mijo Entertainment, went beyond our expectations!!!! He was active, funny, and took our wedding reception to a whole other level. Our guests were very impressed and ecstatic with Richard's fun energy and music selection. The only negative was all the blisters on our feet the next day from the non-stop dancing....ouch!! He made sure to play the genre of music we requested and was on point when it came to any changes that came up throughout the night. Can't go wrong with booking Mijo, definitely deserves beyond 5 stars!! Thank you so much, Richard! I would divorce my wife and marry her all over again just to repeat such a memorable night!!

Let me start off by saying that this review is long over due. Our wedding was this past summer and I’m still being reminded by family and friends what an amazing time everyone had at my wedding. We hired MIJO Entertainment after seeing them at a friend’s wedding... I knew right away that when it came time to plan my wedding I would be talking to them. From the very first call— Richard made me feel comfortable and VERY confident with my decision. The day of my wedding he had everything under control, from organizing all traditions and running the reception to making sure that all my guest were being entertained. Everything ran so smooth— Richard and Joe had everyone laughing, dancing and at the end of the night in tears; happy tears. The song for our last dance was introduced and to my surprise— over the song I hear the vows my husband and I recited to each other earlier. It was such a beautiful moment that I never wanted it to end. One of my bridesmaids just got engaged and I already told her to talk to Richard and his team— thank you Richard, thank you MIJO Entertainment.

I found Mijo Entertainment through a colleague and had the pleasure of attending their wedding in which Richard of Mijo Entertainment was the MC. I was so impressed that after leaving that wedding on Saturday, I called that following Monday to book with them. Richard is a professional through and through. From our very first meeting I knew that I would be taken care of and that he would make my wedding memorable. Additionally, Richard attended my rehearsal at the venue and was incredibly organized, professional and most of all helpful! He worked well with the venue coordinator as well as all of my other vendors. My wedding was fun and full of energy thanks to Richard and Mijo Entertainment! Booking with them was the best decision I could have made and I will be recommending them to everyone!

He is so professional and has so much experience in working with weddings and gave us wonderful ideas to work into our reception. We had a 2-day wedding with the first day being an intimate ceremony with only 50 guest and the next day the reception with 160 guest. I really wanted to hire a videographer to capture the ceremony and show it the next day at the reception, for the guest that were not at the ceremony. When I looked into it, it was way out of budget because it was going to be a same-day edit for the video to be ready to show the next day. When I mentioned this to Richard he loved the idea and offered to include this in our package at a very reasonable price. He showed me a couple samples of family videos he had captured and edited and I thought they were good quality. He drove the 1.5 hours to our ceremony site to capture our ceremony, but not only did he capture our ceremony. He went above and beyond by meeting us at the hotel and captured reading our notes and our first look. The video was everything I wanted and more! The first day of our wedding went great, the second day not so much, everything that could go wrong did. Having Richard as the master of ceremonies made the second day go so much better. He did an amazing job of calming me down after things went wrong (none of the things that went wrong had anything to do with his services). In the middle of our reception, we had a family member have a medical emergency, had to call 911 and take them away in an ambulance (the family member was ok, but took them as a precaution). I thought for sure that our reception was over and it was only 9pm, but Richard did a great job of getting everyone's attention back on our event after by Husband reassured our guest that the family member was going to be fine. He really listen to our music preferences and played all of our must play songs. Overall, Richard and MIJO Entertainment made our wedding everything we wanted and more.

My wedding was this past Saturday and Richard and his team were amazing!!! Right from the get go they totally won us over with their professionalism and timely responses to anything and everything we could ask. I was super indecisive about songs and Richard was extremely helpful in giving suggestions as well as websites with more information. I got a response to all my emails within half an hour, sometimes a few minutes!

The day of the wedding we had Jose as our MC and Joe as our DJ. They were both amazing (I will be using "amazing" a lot in this review). We were about half an hour behind schedule for the whole reception but they kept everyone so entertained that no one was even aware we were behind! I didn't hire a coordinator at all but Richard came up with an amazing itinerary and Jose and Joe stuck to it as well as they could (since, like I said, we were running behind). All my guests thought the whole wedding was well coordinated (thanks to them) and they were super impressed with the whole thing. The songs they picked for dancing were amazing! I wish I could've danced longer.

Also, we ended up choosing a different First Dance song about a week before the wedding. As a surprise, they played our original song for the last dance. It was the perfect way to end the night.

We hired Mijo Entertainment for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and photo booth. We got the package that they offer which includes everything. It also included the up lights which I didn't think I wanted but when I saw them I was like OMG I'M SO HAPPY I GOT THEM.

Oh and keep in mind, I planned the whole wedding in a month and a half. So for it to look that coordinated is all thanks to Richard and his team.

THANK YOU!!!!!! I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. They deserve a kajillion stars.

The photobooth was a great addition to our engagement party .Everyone had a blast.The staff were friendly and helpful. They were always there by the photo booth assisting in getting the proper angle for each picture. The clarity and quality of the digital photos was definitely a plus for me. And they even send me a sample of the strip for me to approve beforehand.I received the digital file two days after the event. I would strongly recommend Mijo Entertainment to everyone.

Richard and his team did such an incredible job for our wedding. They took care of lighting, photo booth, and the music. Richard was the MC and everyone at the wedding loved him. He was entertaining, funny, respectful and playful with our guests (he got my mother in law to kiss her husband which she would have never done in front of a crowd...she found this funny!). He was so much fun throughout the wedding that he had some family members dancing who hardly ever dance! Our families loved how he had everyone get up to dance without any fuss.
Richard was very attentive to our needs as we planned for the big day. He went above and beyond to accommodate our super hero themed wedding (the photo booth pictures and props catered to our theme). The team was always respectful and knew exactly how to treat guests. The music was great that night. Family and friends loved the music selection, dancing the entire night. I love how the team takes pictures and videos of the event too. This definitely was awesome to have, especially Richards ability to get ALL guests up to the dance floor for a group picture.
I highly recommend them for any event. They have been doing this for many years. Richard has a big heart, and passionate about his work. He is always smiling! Great experience and amazing memories thanks to them.

Richard definitely made our wedding happen. I was impressed and much relieved with how professional and easy going he was. All of our guests were talking about how great he was. MIJO ENTERTAINMENT are a must have for any wedding. Do not look any further or go with anyone else. Their music selection is just amazing. Our dance floor was never empty and all of our guests were impressed with all the songs played. Richard is an incredible MC that goes above and beyond to make sure everything is going the way you want. There was never a dull moment during our ceremony or reception and the small things Richard does are extremely memorable. Richard made our wedding reception such a memorable one. So many people told my new husband and I how awesome he was. Richard kept the party going with the music bumping, cute games as well as a great, creative way you get everyone on the dance floor. We were soo happy that we hired Mijo Entertainment (Richard Mojica) as our DJ/MC. He was very nice, informative, professional, flexible and went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our wedding day/reception the BEST DAY EVER!! My guests gave so many compliments on the selection of music played as well as how fun and interactive the MC was. Everyone LOVED IT and so did we!! Richard and Angel were awesome and exceeded all our expectations. The friendliest and most professional guys you can ask for and everyone was raving about them at our wedding. We absolutely loved Mijo Entertainment. Our wedding package included ceremonial and reception music, up- lighting, photo booth. Richard and his team delivered exactly as promised based on our interests and requests during the consultation. Our experience with M.E. was not only professional but more importantly personal. The process ensured a professional experience while the team, especially Richard's, personality brings a personalized touch that is accommodating and genuine. We will definitely be using M.E. My wife and I couldn't be happier with Richard and his team. They did an amazing job! Its been over month since they provided DJ/ MC , Photo booth, and up lighting for our wedding and we still are getting complements about how great of an MC Richard was. The guy is just on point, extremely professional and the whole evening ran flawlessly. Let me just begin by saying that if you have any hesitation about working with Richard you can throw that out the window. Richard is one of the most professional individual I have ever worked with. Richard was on the preferred vendor list provided by my venue, and after having him MC and DJ our wedding I know why he is preferred not only by brides, but also venues. From our initial phone calls and e-mails, Richard was very attentive to every detail of our wedding. I planned our wedding by myself and having Richard there was the main reason why everything went so smoothly, he brought up details and questions that I had not even thought about. Richard really did deliver, my crowd ranged from mid 20's-mid 70's and a wide array of ethnicities, but let me tell you every single person was on the dance floor. It was the most amazing moment of my wedding when I saw all my guest on the dance floor. He maintained the flow of the entire evening and made sure that everyone knew what was going on. I have heard only positive reviews from my guest regarding the music. His team was also amazing, his DJ assistant kept the dance floor going while his photo booth attendant was hard working and kept all my guest happy, providing a wide array of props. Above all I love how available he was, I am an OCD bride and I was also planning a destination wedding, so having him available was so stress relieving. I don't even know where to start. I was introduced to Mijo Entertainment by my best friend back in 2011 when he DJ'd for her wedding. When I heard him play it was like love at first beat! I wasn't even thinking about marriage at this time but I knew I would be contacting him if I ever did get married. About year later I heard him play at another friends wedding and again instantly knew for sure that when the time came I would be contacting him. Well 2013 came and I was engaged...Immediately I called Richard and booked him without even looking anywhere else because I already knew how he worked and how amazing he was. Come September 20th of 2014, my wedding day, I can't even begin to tell you how amazing he is. I was worried because my husband and I, though we are both Mexican, still come from different cultures. His family is more of the Mexican American whereas mine is bit more Mexican. So I was worried about the music and how the reception would go in regards to attending to both sides. I wanted my Spanish dancing music and my husband wanted his old school funk music. Well let me tell you...Richard blew everyone away. He played everything and just kept the night so FUN and memorable. He catered to what we both wanted but in away that it kept everyone on the dance floor. And when looking for a DJ you want someone that can keep everyone on the dance floor and Mijo Entertainment did that FLAWLESSLY. I booked Mijo Entertainment for about 8 hours and got his lighting package, which I would HIGHLY recommend because the lighting was everything! It made everything just flow together with my decor. It just made my wedding look expensive and glamourous. I highly recommend his lighting package. Especially the gobo of your names. That just made my venue look like a fairy tale. Cant say enough good things about Mijo Entertainment. He definitely won't let you down and I couldn't be more thankful and grateful that I had met him and he was available for my wedding!!

Richard and his team were amazing! They were very attentive not only during the planning process but also during the reception. One month ago I was looking for someone to use for Photobooth Services. I originally called the guy that did our wedding but he never got back to me. I didn't know if Mijo Entertainment had one but since I had used his services three years ago in my wedding and kept all his info because of how Great Richard was I called him and asked if he knew someone that did Photobooth! He told me he did and was sold! I already knew what kind of service he provided and was glad he was capable of helping me out!

My God Daughters Quince was yesterday, he was great with responded to me, and accomdate my needs for the event.

His wife and Chris were the ones that came to run the Photo Booth and only participating in three prior he immediately became the best! Chris did not let anyone take a simple plain picture, he made sure they had fun and made it fun the entire night! Once Again Mijo Entertainment became the talk of the party! All my God Daughters friends will be talking about it on MONDAY! Now that I know what he does he is a one stop shop for me!

Cant wait until my next big event to call him up!

The lighting was perfect- subtle enough so as not to overwhelm the space, but bright enough to give the room some really nice accents.

Amazing! We had a very eclectic/ diverse (Mexican's, Chinese, Thai, Middle Eastern, White and Central Americans) group and they made everyone sweat! The music selection was amazing. The MC did a great job of setting a fun/loving/emotional tone to our wedding. He created smooth transitions. At first I was hesitant in investing on a "wedding" dj, but I'm so glad we did. I planned my wedding in 5 months, such a short time frame most wedding DJ's were booked. I am so glad I came across Mijo Entertainment. Richard was awesome, we communicated via e-mail, text or even call him when feeling frantic. Richard always returned my call or e-mailed promptly. MIJO did the uplighting and name in lights for my July 2014 wedding at the Bagramian Hall in Montebello. I decided to include this at the last minute, and Richard was able to make it happen in less than a week! I was amazed how perfect they designed our name in lights in our language, Amharic (Ethiopian). Our pictures look gorgeous, and our guests were stunned how beautiful the hall looked with the color changing uplights and name design. I highly recommend using their service to add elegance and romantic feel to your venue!

Richard, specifically, was consistent with the excellent quality of music and organization, and is an incredible master of ceremonies. Richard at Mijo was THE most important vendor we worked with. He made our reception absolutely perfect. I know that sounds like a lot, but he really made the night. He wasn't only a DJ. He was also and MC. He set the mood and the pace for the night and took into consideration our personalities, traditions, families, and values. Everything went smoothly, And if that isn't enough he also took care of backdrops and draping. He also Managed the Photobooth, and He took pictures during our honeymoon dance with each of our guest and printed them on the spot so that people has a memory to last a lifetime. After reading such great reviews on wedding wire I decided to meet with Richard Mojica from Mijo Entertainment. He completely made us feel comfortable and at ease with the professionalism and enthusiasm he demonstrated. He maintained contact with us through out the planning process and even met with some of our vendors. On the day of the wedding he successfully followed our timeline and remained flexible with natural changes that came along the way. He kept the dance floor full and provided great transitions of music genre. From the day you show interest, they set up a meeting with you and explain their services and what you can expect. They do not pressure you to sign a contract right a way, instead they give you time to "think" about it. But of course, I had NOTHING to think about. I knew that they would be perfect for our wedding. Once we told them the theme, they gave us great ideas & the day of our wedding, everything was PERFECT. I really appreciate the fact that you get to choose your playlist in advance and the main "hit" of our baseball themed wedding was the introduction of our bridal party. They set up the projector and screen and introduced our court as if they were baseball players. It was awesome and everybody loved it. Richard is the BEST MC out there. All of my family loved him. He truly has a gift. Aside of the awesome music and details that they provided for our wedding, they are very professional and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend MIJO Entertainment. WOW! I can't even begin to describe how absolutely awesome Richard is. . . He is simply the best! My husband, Raul and I looked long and hard for a DJ that would complement our wedding. After a few months of searching, we decided to meet with Richard. He met with us at our venue. He arrived on time and had a beautiful presentation prepared. After just a few minutes we decided he was the one. Richard was wonderful! His music kept the dance floor packed all night long, and he MC'd the event as well. We were debating using a day-of planner, but with Richard we didn't have to. He knew our timeline, made suggestions that we hadn't thought about, and kept our wedding moving. Any time we had questions or concerns, whether it was by phone, text, or email, Richard was extremely prompt in getting back to us. He even has a tip sheet on what to look for in a DJ, and an emergency bridal kit packed with everything you might need (safety pins, band aids, Motrin, mints, etc.). Mijo Entertainment has been by far the most professional DJ/ Entertainment service ever experienced. Planning the most important day of your life can present unexpected hurdles and challenges. First off, Richard is a great and friendly person. Upon meeting Richard we were immediately greeted with a smile. He put us at ease and had a little surprise for us on the day we met. I won’t say what it was, but it was very nice. When Richard was telling us about his services we did not feel like we were pressured into anything. He didn’t feel like a salesman. He presented himself as a person who is truly looking forward to making your wedding as much fun as possible. Before the wedding Richard made himself 100% available to us in case we had any questions regarding the event. We even met a few times before the wedding to make sure everything was okay and ready to go. During those few meetings Richard not only helped us with music services, but Richard also offered us advice on how to keep everything that had to do with the wedding in control. Richard is an awesome person.
Now to the actual event, Richard was incredible. Everyone at our wedding was amazed at how fun and friendly Richard was. It was as if Richard was part of the family. Richard played the music we had requested and made a few other suggestions based on our selections and it was awesome! Richard kept the wedding moving, but it did not seem like he was rushing anything. All our guests kept complimenting the music and Richard. They kept asking us where we had found Richard and you can bet we told them. Richard took care of the music and even kept asking us if we needed anything throughout the wedding. Richard is truly an amazing person. Anyone who hires him will without any doubt be completely satisfied. Hire Mijo Entertainment and your wedding or party will be one of the best times you will have.

I am very pleased with the services I received from Mijo Entertainment before and during my wedding reception. When I had a concern or idea, all I had to do was email Richard and he would get right back to me, met up with me at flexible hours, showed lots of interest for my event,gave me lots of ideas. I was also provided with a great package: beautiful lights for the stage where my live music was gonna play, lights all around the hall, and our lighted names on the wall was incredible. Not only is Richard a great person but was a great spokeman and coordinator throughtout my reception and its awesome that he's fluent in English and Spanish. I got great comments about my DJ at my reception and I would definitely recommend Mjo Entertainment! I was truly satisfied!

My husband and I don't know where to start of all the beautiful things we can say about DJ Richard. We contracted him for our wedding...we'll start by saying that Richard is an outmost professional DJ. He is very responsible, caring, and engaged with you through out your event planning. He is awesome both at the party like through out the planning. He is well prepared and executes his job magnificiently...he was our master of ceremony and he was the life of the party. He kept the party at flow and had all our guest happy and entertained while his mix of music was great. He contributed so much to making our day memorable. We are so thankful to him! Wow! My wedding was out of this world. It was a tropical theme with plenty of salsa, merengue, 70s music and a great second surprise dance that put the crowd at the edge of craziness. Brides, please make sure that you do hire a professional DJ like Richard. Since the first moment we met him through the last meeting we held, Richard was on top of every detail we mentioned to him. My husband is an extremely detailed person and he was so pleased with Richards’s politeness, professionalism and pride in getting the job done. After the wedding many guests came and told me what a great DJ Richard was and how he entertained every single person from teenagers to grandmothers He had everyone dancing until they couldn’t dance any more. As for myself I had blisters from dancing so much. My main focus was to dance all night and thanks to Richard I did. It was amazing. Richard kept the party alive by interacting with the guests, playing games and keeping the groove going. The man is the best of the best in the industry. He is the Latino beast ! MR. D.J. Richard Mojica was a great choice for me and my wife. Since the first day we met him , he made us feel comfortable with him and his service. We both wanted to make sure we had a professional in entertainment for our wedding day and he delivered. He had our guess involved in our wedding all night. He organized and ran or wedding reception without a problem. Our guest were so tired at the end of the night because Richard had everyone dancing all night. We recommend his service. If you want a fun night you better not pass him up. Thank you Richard again for a great night.

Richard from Mijo Entertainment was awesome and very attentive throughout the entire process. He always made himself available and was always very professional. He took the time to get to know me and my husband on a personal level. We connected with him very well. Although Richard was not our main DJ for our night, Mijo entertainment went above and beyond our expectations. The dance floor was full the entire night. I remember wanting to sit down because I was so tired but every song they kept playing was so awesome I wanted to keep dancing. My friends and guests kept talking about how great the DJ was. I am very satisfied with this vendor and would recommend them 100%. You won't be disappointed

My husband and I could not have made a better choice we had a blast and MIJO entertainment was the best!! ALL of our guest could not stop telling us how great the DJ was and that it was the best, most fun wedding they have attended.. there was not one dull moment thanks to Richard!! Also very organized!! To anyone out there that is looking for a DJ for their wedding i would recommend MIJO entertainment if they want a time of their life and a stress free event!!!! Mijo Entertainment was the absolute best decision and overall the most valuable vendor for our entire event. I didn't expect that the "DJ" would be a complete wedding guru and was so pleasantly surprised and comforted by the amount of attention to detail, valuable suggestions and genuine care Mijo Entertainment extended to us on our most special occasion.

Having them Dj our wedding was icing on an already amazing cake. They took time to get into our desires for the day, go over pivotal moments and even dig deeper into who we were as a couple and family. We'd initially planned for a very simplistic day but if it weren't for Mijo's, Richard Mojica, event concierge-like know how and connections we'd never had opened ourselves up to having an Amazing day (which we could still afford.)

I could go on and on. It was truly a great experience working with Mijo Entertainment and knowing that everything would run smoothly and just be a great time for us and our guests. The only tid-bit of regret I had was not reaching out to them sooner.. would have saved me a ton of bride-greif. :)

Richard is a good dj, he knows how to remix music , knows how to make the party exciting. We recieved a lot of complitments at the wedding and even after. Hes worth every peny! We are so glad we picked him as a DJ and highly recomend him! You wont be sorry trust us!

What can I say, Richard and Mijo Ent. did an AWESOME job at our wedding. We loved the music and entertainment that Richard and his team provided. All of our guests were super happy and were telling us that they had such a great time. The kissing game was the best, it had the guests engaged and wanting more. Richard also brought props to the party (glow sticks) and took the time to get on the dance floor to share a few dancing tips which was above and beyond what we expected. Look no further, Mijo Entertainment is who you want to have at your special event!!! The guys did a GREAT job! Thanks Richard!

Richard has been a pleasure to work with. I am such a control freak and I was so worried I would not be able to enjoy my special day and let me tell you Richard went beyong my expectations.. Since the day we met for our 1st meeting till the day our our wedding. He is so creative, so thoughful. My guest just cannot comment enough of how beatiful everything was. We laughed, cried, and dance our night away. I had heard Richard at a 60th b-day many years ago and saved his # because I always say "I have no patience for a dumb DJ" because I love to dance and some DJ's outthere have no clue on music and up to date. He kept my party going since it started to the end.. Helped me with my music. Went out of his way to find me my special first dance... I just can't say enough, simply "THE BEST"

I HIGHLY recommend Richard to other brides. If you want the best you absolutely need to hire the best. Richard isn't your typical DJ who comes the day of your special occasion and plays from a playlist, sits back and relaxes, he is so much more. He first of all makes sure to sit down with you and your groom to get to know you on a personal level and even you two as a couple. This allows to customize your day just for you. Every minute of your wedding should be special to you, to do that he meets with you again to document all the songs chosen for you grand entrance, first dance, fahter daughter dance, mother son dance, bouquet toss, gardertoss, cake cutting, etc. After choosing songs he gives ideas on small special events to entertain your guests. And on top of that he coordinates EVERYTHING...florist, catering, rentals you name it. Don't forget you get what you pay for and I am so glad we chose Richard to be at our wedding. There was no chaos, no mess, just bliss and I thank Richard for every bit. He's respectful, smart, and most of all professional. When you hire him your gettin more than a DJ your getting a coordinating.

Richard and everyone at MIJO Entertainment were at their best on our wedding nite. The music, the MC'ing, the atmosphere they made for our special event was truly appreciated not only by my wife and I but by both our families. They were on point with everything. The intro's, the ice breakers, the games, the coordination with traditional wedding events and most importantly, the music. Our families never left the dance floor and played exactly what we wanted. From the first meeting he/they were true professionals. They do all in their power and more to make the event special and unforgettable. MIJO Entertainment is true to their word. They told us that couples spend $$$ on cakes, attire, food but leave out the most important aspect of a wedding... the entertainment... We surely did not have that problem. Richard recently worked our wedding and he was fantastic! He was so professional and showed up on the Big Day on time and set up in a flash. We also ordered lights to shine on the columns of the venue which really added so much to the dancing. I had picked out specific songs I wanted played which he added to by playing stuff that was in the style I liked. During the dancing the songs I picked weren't really getting people dancing so Richard stepped in and really played stuff that really got people moving, so he's very attuned to making sure there's dancing, if that's what you want. A nice surprise was when he passed out glow-in-the-dark necklaces, and later when he salsa danced with one of our guests. He was so professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

Richard / Mijo Entertainment did a wonderful job! Prior to the wedding he met with us and paid close attention to everything we said. He provided a lot of guidance for us. He worked well with our wedding coordinator as well as our other vendors. Most importantly he kept our dance floor packed the entire night. My wife and I are very happy with the DJ services that were provided by Mijo Entertainment. From the first meeting to the day of, Richard was very professional and coordinated. We weren't even intending on having a DJ for our wedding until we left the first meeting with him where we immediately knew it was the right thing to do. Throughout the planning stages, Richard was very accomodating and met with us at our convenience (even met with us on the night of Cindo de Mayo) and was very helpful with the usual timing of events during a wedding. Aside from all of his great ideas and help around the itinerary he has a huge range of music and found all of the songs we were asking for. He even made it clear that if he didn't have it and we wanted it, he would get it. So as you can tell, we're very satisfied with the services he provided and would recommend him to anyone interested in a DJ.

Where do I begin... DJ Richard was AMAZING!! I can honestly say I had the best DJ in town for my wedding! From the first time I met him I knew I wanted him for our special day. He was so professional and organized from day one. He took the time to get to know us and listen closely to our style of music. Richard read the crowed and kept everyone dancing. I like how he even brought out props to the dance floor. I love the fact that he speaks spanish since 50% of my guest only spoke spanish. He kept going back in forth and translating, making everyone feel comfortable. I've already had friends contact me asking for his info because they were so impressed by the way he conducted the entire event. I would recommend him to anyone!!! Thank you Richard :)

Mijo Ent. not only provides the music for your event, Richard makes sure he knows the details of your wedding, he takes the time to know you and your fiancee personally so that he can provide the service that is best for you. I especially liked that he planned out an intinerary for our wedding. He helped me organize the evening down to every detail. You get a lot more than DJ- you get somebody who loves what he does and goes the extra mile to make your event personal and memorable.
