DJ Wedding Services

Joel, the owner of the company, was our DJ for the wedding, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better! We’ve used his company before for my sister’s wedding and a few graduation parties, so I already knew I wanted him for my big day. Joel is truly the best—he kept the energy high all night, got our guests pumped up, and made sure the dance floor was always full.

We even ran into an unexpected power issue, and without hesitation, Joel jumped in to help fix it. That level of professionalism and calm under pressure is exactly what every couple needs on their wedding day. His planning process made everything so easy to organize, from music choices to announcements, and he was always quick to answer all my questions.

When we ended up running ahead of schedule, Joel adjusted seamlessly, making sure the timeline flowed perfectly. His experience, flexibility, and energy made the night unforgettable. I would recommend Joel to anyone looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond to make the celebration amazing!

They were very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He did more than just DJ he made sure the groomsmen and bridesmaids knew where they were walking and when during the ceremony. The website they provide made the schedule flow and with his experience knew how things could flow smoothly. Definitely recommend if you are your own wedding planner as his experience is helpful.

We had the absolute best experience with John from Mid Michigan Entertainment! He went above and beyond for us and was even with us almost the whole weekend! The dance floor was never empty and everyone kept saying they’d never seen a dance floor so consistently busy.

John was amazing! We had such a great time, everything was spot on. John helped with so much! From assistance with the itinerary to finding the ceremony location and helping us through the night! Would recommend 10 times over!

The owner was our Dj for the night! He was amazing we also had our wedding at his wedding barn. Everything was amazing more than I could have ever hoped for!
Joel helped us during rehearsal and morning of the wedding he was there for all our needs!

Great Music and Amazing Uplights

Our DJ John was amazing the ceremony music was perfect and the music for the reception was a blast he made sure he played all of our request we had. He was easy to work with and communicated very well and professional. His uplights were amazing on the dance floor and behind our backdrop. Would highly recommend them they are great and great prices and they also have photobooths and provide you with a album at the end of the night which is a great early gift.

Booking vendors for your wedding can be SO stressful, but I always had an idea from the start who I wanted for my DJ!

Before my actual event, John was amazing communicating with me, replying to any and all questions I had, and getting back to me so fast. We had a long phone call a few weeks before my wedding and kind of talked everything through and planned the day out so we both knew what to expect and John helped me make a list of “To do’s” that I would’ve NEVER thought of which was so helpful, came up with amazing ideas for the day, and reassured me that he would keep everything organized and flowing…. Which is absolutely did and lived up too!

The day of my wedding I was blown away at how amazing John was and he took care of my husband and I! The ceremony went smoothly, and he was helpful guiding all our guests to the tent for the reception, reminding them to do my Polaroid guest book all throughout the night (which was SO helpful and it got filled because of him), and keeping everyone on the dance floor all night long.

One thing that stood out to me that John didn’t have to do at all, was help me with a lot of little things. Once dinner was ready, John grabbed my plate and escorted me to the food and help my plate for me so I could hold my dress!!! This was the sweetest thing that I’ve never seen a DJ do. He also did a shout out to my little brother who couldn’t make it to my wedding because he was deployed, and that really meant a lot to us and that wasn’t even asked of him to do!!

Overall, this company is amazing and John is amazing and he will not disappoint ❤️

My dream wedding!💗

Joel (the owner) was absolutely amazing! We just had our wedding at the barn (7.16.2022) and it was an absolute DREAM. It was incredible seeing my whole vision come to life. Irish hills wedding barn is absolutely gorgeous & I would recommend them 100x over. Joel and his crowd is absolutely INCREDIBLE! He helped so much throughout the entire process && even showed up at rehearsal when we were a bit confused! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about him or the barn. He truly cares about his brides, as well as his venue and location… && it truly shows. Our guests just couldn’t stop saying how beautiful it was. You will not be disappointed if you choose Joel & the barn. Absolutely breathtaking, I could go on and on about it! 💗💗💗

Not only was the venue a full home run, but the DJ we had for the night (Wes) was absolutely AWESOME! He played all the right music, and he was so nice & inviting as well. I guess you could say I was more of one of those “picky & extra” of a bride.. giving him certain parts of the songs for the ceremony, and it flowed and happened just how I planned it!

We also ended up hiring Joel’s decorator he recommended and to say she made my vision actual real life is an understatement! I wish I could go back to my wedding and just relive it over and over! I couldn’t have been more happy with Joel and his whole team!

Professional, exceptional and amazing service!!!

We had the whole package….venue (Irish Hills Wedding Barn & Convention Center), DJ, bartenders & photo booth. Joel Gresham (owner) was so easy to work with….he was even the DJ for our event (daughter’s wedding) and did a phenomenal job. I would highly recommend this venue and all the services they offer because the day went off without a hitch and a good time was had by all our guests. Thanks again, Joel and staff!! You guys rock!!

Kept the party going all night long!

Mike was so great to work with! He's DJ'd for both my (now) husband's brother's weddings, and now ours. He was super professional, showed up early to set up and let me know if we needed anything he's there to help. He was so fun, and read the room very well to keep everyone up and dancing! He also accommodated all of our special song requests with no problems at all. Would definitely use him again!

I planned my wedding in about 8 months and a DJ was last on my list because I didn’t think it was very important. I went to a wedding show and fell in love with the way John spoke about my wedding and all the things he could do for my reception. So I decided to go with him and I am SOOOO glad that I did. We have nothing but great things to say about our DJ, John. He was prompt in his responses, easy to work with, worked quickly to set up, and played a wonderful mix of today's music as well as some older music to keep the dance floor moving the entire night. He even played some special songs that my husband specifically wanted. i got nothing but compliments on how wonderful our music was.
Our online planning was easy, and he even called me the week of to confirm details. We did not feel rushed at all and he went above and beyond to help make our wedding so wonderful.

Awesome DJ services

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mid Michigan Entertainment. I had Alan as my DJ and he was so much fun! He really knew how to read the crowd and keep the guests on the dance floor. He was also so great at keeping the event flowing during the night. I just provided him with the timeline and he took it all from there. Such and amazing night and I'm so happy that I choose them. The communication before the event was also so great. All my questions were answered super fast and there is an online portal that's super user friendly.

Amazing DJ Company

We had a wonderful experience with our DJ! He completed all our small, unique requests and kept the dance floor busy all night! He played our requested songs through the night! My husband and I have a very unique music taste and he played all our favorites towards the end of the night for our friends and family that were still in attendance. That was one of my favorite parts of the night. I would highly recommend Mid Michigan Entertainment for your special day!

Professional, fun, and experienced

John was our DJ for our Fourth of July weekend wedding and I am so thankful I made the decision go with MME. John was basically my wedding planner, lots of calls and text messages exchanged, we meet a couple times prior to organize and discuss, and he made sure everything was perfect! If it wasn’t for John, our wedding wouldn’t have gone nearly as smooth and as perfect as it was. He was by far the most helpful, professional, and caring vendor we had. Throughout the entire process he stayed in contact with us, while giving the best advice and truly wanted to make sure our day was everything we hoped it would be. He came to our rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what they were doing, basically acting as our personal wedding planner which exceeded his job description. During dinner he went to the buffet with me, fixed my plate, and walked it back to the head table. Yet again went above and beyond! During the reception family members that I have never seen dance were out on the dance floor getting down, which made my heart so incredibly happy. Days after our wedding I had so many compliments about John, the music, and just plain great vibe he sent throughout the ceremony and reception. On top of that, we just attended another wedding where he was the dj and during the reception he dedicated our wedding song to us, which had me in tears. He is absolutely incredible! They are amazing!

Our DJ was John! He was absolutely amazing from the planning stage through our wedding day! He made sure that we had everything planned out, went through our venue so he knew he had everything that we needed, and saved my butt the day before the wedding when we changed the ceremony!! He kept everyone on the dance floor, and kept everyone (vendors) on track! To say that he went above and beyond what you would expect from your DJ would be an understatement! Will use them for ALL future events!!

I hired Mid Michigan Entertainment to DJ my wedding. Our Dj's name was Alan, and he did an amazing job! He was very tentative to our program, and making sure things ran on time. He was also flexible, in the sense that in the moment at the reception, I wanted to skip some things to get on to the dancing, and he just said OK with a smile on his face. He made the whole event run so smoothly. The dance floor was packed all night, we had so many compliments on his performance and service. Also, I was able to give Alan a flash drive of Spanish music I wanted, and he did a great job of incorporating those into the night. 10/10 would recommend Mid Michigan Entertainment, I wish I could relive my wedding night over and over again!

John was my sons DJ for his wedding. He was the most professional DJ ever. He had everyone on the dance floor at all times, there were smiles all night long. After John talking to the crowd throughout the night, he was just full of surprises for everyone..... As he says "I love my job" he sure does and it shows because he was awesome. We were sure that we would shut down at a decent time, but we were able to extend his services 3 additional hours. MMDJ was absolutely amazing. John took time out of his evening to come to our rehearsal and coordinated everything! They are definitely a very talented group of people! This is way overdue since I was married in October, but just wanted to give a shout out to Chad for the great job he did as DJ for our reception in Gobles, MI at the Vintage Rose Barn! Very professional and MME overall had such a great set up process. Every detail is accounted for and the days leading up to your wedding your DJ has direct contact with you and walks through your entire set up with you over the phone. We used mid Michigan for photobooth, DJ and video
We had an online portal to select music and set up the timeline. We had a lot of compliments on the DJ ans photobooth
Photobooth allowed us to use our own photo book and we took it home that night with a copy of all the pictures
The video guy blended in with the ceremony and reception. We haven’t received the video yet, but I’m sure it will be amazing

Dan the DJ was absolutely amazing! I had a venue with 450 people there and he did a great job entertaining them all!!!! He kept the dance floor full the whole night. Cannot say enough thanks to him. He's a fabulous DJ who we felt completely comfortable with. He's great! The videographer and his assistant were very professional I haven't gotten the Video yet to comment on their work but I'm sure it will be great!

Dan was such a pleasure to work with! He not only listened to and honored our requests, but went above and beyond by providing music an hour earlier than scheduled when he realized our cocktail hour musicians failed to show.

I met DJ Pete with Mid Michigan DJ's at the bridal show in Jackson, and instantly had a great feeling about him. We booked right on the spot with him and I'm so glad we did. He really listened to what we wanted our big day to be like, and he made it happen. We even asked him to stay longer than what he was originally booked for and he was happy to do so. We recently used MME at our wedding , and they are simply great! They played all the music I had chosen, were so kind and easy to work with. We feel lucky to have hired MME to DJ our wedding at Hilltop Manor Inn in Clarklake, MI – July 2017. We chose John because of his familiarity with the venue and his taste in music. This was a decision that definitely paid off! He was so professional and essentially ran the show when he needed to. This was much appreciated as we did not have a formal wedding coordinator. However, on the flip side, when it was time to dance and party, he kept the dance floor going all night with incredible song selection. He was also very accommodating to song requests and nagging drunk people. You need John and MME as your wedding DJ, highly recommended!

We had John Smith as our DJ. He was amazing and super helpful throughout the entire wedding! He made sure the dance floor was always full and if he started to see people leaving then he would change the style of music for the next song. John was very professional the entire night making sure that we were both stress-free and having a good time. Our wedding was supposed to be outside, however, it started raining so John was very flexible and set up inside our venue. We definitely recommend Mid Michigan DJ's for ANY entertainment, the staff there are amazing and want to make sure that your event runs smoothly and everyone has a great time.

Joel was fantastic! He not only did an excellent job as a DO but he also assisted wherever he was needed. The staff at our reception venue were not going to let us into our reception until they saw the wedding party member's ids. Joel stepped in and took care of it, telling them to back off and that we would cover everything after our intros. He was very easy to contact prior to the wedding and made everything easy on me. Since I planned my own wedding vendors like this are amazing!

Joel and John did an absolutely wonderful job keeping the crowd moving and making the night go smooth! Joel was professional and a great guy to work with. John worked the Photo Booth and did a great job moving people in and out. It was a larger wedding but by the looks of the pics, everybody had a great time! John also DJ'd my daughter's wedding a couple year's ago and did an awesome job as well. I have one more son to marry off so hopefully they will still be around when I need them. Lol! Hopefully I will have a little bit of time before the next one! Thanks Joel and John for making the Sharp wedding a wonderful memory that they will be able to look back on for years to come. My fiancé and I were pretty specific about what types of music we wanted to hear and when, our DJ was great about playing exactly what we wanted while also reading the crowd and mixing in some other really great songs. Our dance floor was not empty the entire night!

Mid Michigan Entertainment was what helped make our day incredible. our DJ was absolutely awesome and kept the party moving. Judging by the fact that we basically took all of our cake home (because not a single person left the dance floor until midnight), I would say these guys know what they're doing. Best part was that we spent such a long time making a playlist, but by the way the DJ just read the crowd, people still talk about how awesome our music was!!! 6 out of 5 stars for sure!!!

Dj Pete was THE best! We met him at a wedding show with mid michigan entertainment and knew right away this was a great fit for our wedding. They have a low deposit price, which is great when you're getting overwhelmed with booking things in the beginning of your wedding. They can easily be reached via email. They have you fill out a form online to submit, which is extremely user friendly. The dj contacts you the week of the wedding to ask any questions they may have from your form...and then thats it. They show up and do an AMAZING job. The Photo Booth was also by this comp;any and was a great value for the money we spent. I've been recommending them to everyone I know thats been getting engaged. HIRE THEM!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our special day! They tailored our reception based off music suggestions and basically kept the party going all the way until our venue had to kick us out, both our families aren't what you would call dancers...or so we thought! Just a truly great experience and the DJ couldn't have been more friendly if he tried, really felt like they were part of the party rather that just some speakers. MME was awesome to work with. Dan (DJ Hutch) did a phenomenal job keeping our reception fun and flowing while still incorporating our favorite songs. The DJ we had was Dakota, he made the night magical. He got everyone out on the dance floor and having a good time. Our night was very emotional but he knew how to keep things moving. They say a good wedding DJ can make or break a reception and I would totally agree. My wedding reception was A BLAST and that was all due to DJ Dan from Mid Michigan DJs. He arrived on early and was very professional. He was very willing to listen to what my guests and I wanted to dance to which made the reception a great time for all. Everything went smoothly for the ceremony music as well. A very professional company from start to finish and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone getting married in Michigan.

Joel is truly the best. He answered every question I had no matter how silly, and quickly, always within the hour I had a response. He will make your day all about you and keep everything on schedule! I would recommended his company to anyone looking for a great time!!

Pete was our DJ and he did an amazing job! I had more compliments on him than any other aspect of the wedding, even my 88 yr old grandmother told me how great he was! He was very professional and so much fun! We also rented a photo booth which was a huge hit! We would highly recommend Mid Michigan entertainment!

Absolutely fabulous staff and service! our wedding reception was extremely memorable. We had a list of music "must play", "if theres time" and "do not play" I had a few songs on each list and it was followed exactly with time for the DJ's touch, it was spectaluar! What a wonderful event staff! highly recommended. This was the 3rd wedding I have attended with MMDJ and they have never missed the mark.

Joel was our DJ & he was wonderful! He was very responsive via email whenever I had questions, & was professional & fun! We also rented a photo booth and the staff that ran that was terrific! I highly recommend Mid Michigan Entertainment.

There's nothing bad I can say! Mid Michigan DJ's is amazing. We had to make some last minute changes of location due to weather and everything went smooth. I had special music requests and our DJ was responsive and did amazing. We loved everything and used mid Michigan to plan our sandals honeymoon. Everything was perfect !!!! A million thanks highly recommended. Best value

Joel was so happy and easy to work with! He made the day run perfectly in more aspects than just the music. He always asked if there was anything else he could do for us, kept the schedule running perfectly, and always asked us what we wanted to have happen rather than everyone else's opinion. We could not have had a better experience!
