Working with Michi's family was one of the highlights of our entire wedding planning experience. My wife Lisa and I are so grateful to Michi, Raphael, Mike, and the rest of the team. They are a family run business - their true passion and care for their craft shines through so clearly, and it was an absolute joy to eat their delicious food, but also just to get to know them as people.
We had so many guests tell us the food was the best they've ever had a wedding. The cocktails were really delicious as well. Their entire staff was very professional, responsive, detail-oriented -- and extremely friendly and fun to be around! We had an insignificant amount of guests with food restrictions, and Michi's went above and beyond to make sure every single guest had a great experience.
If I could, I would give Michi's 10 stars for their expertise, dedication to service, and quality of food. Thank you, Michi's! -

We started our journey to find a caterer for our wedding. We had certain things that we wanted for our wedding food -- Asian food, vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Additionally, we wanted yummy food (as we are foodies at heart) and within our budget. We heard many great things about Michi through some friends, as they are using Michi for their wedding too, so we decided to go to a tasting.
Their tastings are free, which nowadays is a rarity. Additionally, my husband and I were able to bring 2 guests. We brought my parents to our tasting and we were all blown away. We were able to get to know the Michi family and connected with them. They are very family-oriented, professional, and down-to-earth. By the end of the night, we knew we wanted to go with them. They make you feel like you're family.
Along our wedding planning process, we felt as though the Michi family was with us every step and so supportive and encouraging. They were super responsive and our day-of coordinator always mentioned how quick they were to respond to her. Additionally, we asked them for some vendor recommendations and they were always so quick to get back to us.
For the wedding food options, we went with the live sushi bar during cocktail hour and we opted for a salad plated entree and buffet style. The buffet option gives the most bang-for-your-buck and is the cheapest option compared to family style and plated.
During our wedding day, the Michi family checked in on us multiple times and we were glad everything went without a hitch. (They even signed our guestbook!!!! It's the little things.) Our guests enjoyed the food and we heard comments of "this is the best wedding food ever!" We are so glad our guests enjoyed the food, as much as we did!
We are so glad the Michi family and team were a part of our big day. Highly recommend!!! -

Colette Sent on 11/27/2016My husband and I booked Michi to cater our reception on 7/2/2016. We were looking for a more modern take to the traditional Chinese style banquet, since both our families are Chinese and we knew that they were expecting a feast. However, we both didn't want to have our reception at a Chinese restaurant and wanted to also incorporate some Japanese and Korean food into our wedding. Michi was the PERFECT choice for us. He specializes in Asian fusion and his food was AMAZING. Our friends and family were raving about the meal and were stuffed that they could barely finish it all. We had about 6 courses with a sushi bar and a whole roast pig with roast duck. Seriously people were just eating the entire time. Michi was also super nice to us. He provided us with servers, dishes, utensils, bartenders, literally everything. He became a great friend and constantly was telling us how he and his family were praying for us, which was really nice. He also let us do two tastings, hosted us at his community club, and invited us to some really cool art exhibit that he was catering. Everytime his food was amazing! The fish is so fresh and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend booking with Michi. You will not regret it.
