We did a tasting and were extremely impressed with the flavor and texture of the cakes, choosing them was a no brainer!

Best cake of my life!
If you’re looking for a bakery for your wedding cake, seriously this is the place. The wedding cake was one of the most important parts of the wedding to me, and we tried about 6 different places- Michelle’s patisserie came out far on top. Not only was she super sweet and easy to work with, she has really fun and creative flavors that taste incredible. We decided to do a cake for every table and she was really easy to work with to make that happen - she even had a matching set of cake stands for us to use!
We got so many compliments on our cake. One of our guests (who also works at many weddings) said that not only was it the best wedding cake she’s ever had, but it was the best cake she’s ever had PERIOD. We couldn’t agree more!

Delicious cakes!
Michelle's cakes are delicious! We picked lemon, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate as our flavors, all of which were loved by our guests. When we arrived for our tasting, we were given albums of cake photos, which was very helpful. We loved working with Michelle's Patisserie, and we would definitely ask them to make smaller cakes in the same flavors for our wedding anniversary.

Beautiful and Delicious 4 tier Wedding Cake
Michelle's Patisserie created a beautiful four tier wedding cake that looked and tasted just like what we wanted and designed- she is so talented! It had delicate buttercream detailing with gold jewel accents and even had our initials monogramed one of the tiers! Each tier was unique with its own flavor which we picked out in a tasting beforehand. She did an amazing job with the look and taste, and our guests loved it. Michelle also very graciously moved wedding dates with us when we rescheduled twice due to the pandemic. We are so happy we had our wedding cake through Michelle and would definitely go back for more desserts and special events!

Perfect Desserts!
My husband and I got married on 12/18/21 at Kindred Oaks and Michelle's Patisserie was a preferred vendor. We knew we wanted a dessert bar with a cake and Michelle made it easy to get everything we wanted in one place. Her desserts were delicious - we had NOTHING left over! We got a 3 tier almond wedding cake, 2 types of cookies, cupcakes, mini cupcakes, fruit tarts, and cakeballs. Our wedding was Christmas themed, and we were able to rent all of the cake /dessert stands from Michelle for a very reasonable price. She was super flexible with us when I wanted to increase the number of servings for our wedding cake at the last minute. We loved working with her and can't wait to chow down on our top tier on our one year anniversary!

Michelle's was a hit!
Neither my partner nor I are big cake people, so we went with desserts only. Michelle met us for a tasting, was quick, responsive, and the food was to die for, so what more can you ask for? Lots of compliments on the desserts from our guests, and when I say there was nothing left, there was literally nothing left. Thank goodness our coordinator had set aside a plate for us, or we wouldn't have gotten any! Would definitely book again (and buy more than we did!).

The best cake ever!

Our Cake was Everything I wanted and more!
OMG the cake was AMAZING! My husband and I actually didn’t realize until we were leaving that we didn’t get to eat a slice before we left the venue on our wedding day. We did at least get the bite for the photo, and let me tell you, it was so delicious! Not to mention, we got a cake tasting day in advance, I just wanted all the flavors! I asked my dad about it later, worried that we had left a bunch of cake behind. It turns out that the cake was such a hit with our guests, it went super quick! I highly recommend Michelle. I love that she didn’t use fondant, she just made a beautiful and absolutely delicious cake! I think my husband and I are going to have get another small cake for our anniversary this year because it was just that good!

We were so thrilled with Michelle's work on our wedding cake! She is so special in the wedding cake realm because her flavors are unique and unlike those I saw on other wedding cake bakeries! We went with a honey lavender layer, chocolate indulgence and matcha tres leches. They were all a big hit, with some people saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever had! We kept the matcha tres leches for ourselves because we loooove matcha, and it was so moist with a deep matcha flavor. The honey lavender was so popular, with a subtle lavender flavor and just the perfect sweetness to match it. The cake was beautifully constructed and even ran out at our wedding! She also has comparable pricing to other bakeries in the area. I highly highly recommend her!

Michelle's cakes are SO delicious. We fell in love with her cakes at our cake tasking. Truly they were all so good that we had trouble deciding what we wanted to go with! We were so excited for her cake and desserts to be part of our wedding and knew it would be perfect -- both in her amazing variety in design options, and in flavors.
We unfortunately had to cancel our wedding due to Coronavirus / COVID-19 mandatory closures, and Michelle was so easy to work with, even though we didn't want to reschedule our wedding right away (which not all vendors were willing to work with us). We can't wait to work with you in the future!

We used Michelle’s for our wedding and were very happy with it! The tasting was easy and we were glad it didn’t cost extra. They had lots of options of flavor options and decorated it just as we wanted. We had honey lavender and tres leches and our guests raved about it. There was a little confusion in communication for the final payment (they didn’t contact me, but my wedding planner instead so it was delayed getting to me). We got it worked out very easily though. Neighborhood bakery feel with big time talentl!
We’ve used Michelle’s for years, and will continue to do so! She created the perfect wedding cake for us, not to mention her creations always taste delicious. She also did “dog cookies” for our wedding, and individually wrapped every cookie. They looked and tasted fantastic! We froze a few dozen and I’m still eating them six weeks later. Very impressed with her creations!
She's easy to get ahold of, and is extremely flexible. The tasting was fun and intimate, and her shop is adorable. I recommend using Michelle’s for any events, and also for everyday needs (cookies, cupcakes, and more).

We tasted a lot of delicious cakes while deciding which cake baker to use for our wedding, but when we had Michelle's, her cake knocked our socks off. We immediately booked her, and our wedding cake did not disappoint. The only difficult thing about working with Michelle was deciding which flavors to have, because they are all SO delicious. Not to mention the cake was absolutely beautiful as well, and exactly as I dreamed it would be. I'm not a huge cake fan, but Michelle has converted me! I used this vendor for the groom’s cake, wedding cake and a dessert table for the wedding. Everything was perfect! The design was exactly as I imagined, everything tasted amazing and the dessert table setup looked great. I got so many compliments on the wedding cake which was dolce de leche. Michelle's Patisserie was the first vendor I knew I wanted to hire after I got engaged. I had seen beautiful pictures of her cakes, but what really interested me were her amazing flavor options. We could barely narrow down the flavors we liked for our tasting and everything was exceptionally yummy. We tasted her cakes and knew this was it, no need to look further. We wanted three smaller cakes with coordinating looks instead of a larger tiered one and she knew exactly how to create our look. We finally decided on the chocolate amaretto, mocha, and honey lavender flavors for the cakes and everyone loved them. I was so happy a few slices were sent home with us after the wedding so we got to indulge just a little bit more! Thank you for the beautiful yummy cakes!

Michelle and her team did amazing! I gave her a picture off of Pinterest of an idea of what I wanted our wedding cake to look like. She created a cake that was above and beyond all of our expectations. I also got cupcakes and the grooms cake was a simple red velvet cake. Everything was so fresh, delicious and moist. We used Michelle Patisserie for the bride's cake and groom's cake for our March 2019 wedding. We went to a few cake bakeries for taste testing, but Michelle's was the best by far. The cake was delicious, moist, and the icing was amazing, but not too thick or too sweet. Both cakes were a hit at our wedding! She made the bridal cake look so elegant and used some of our flower arrangements on each tier. For the groom's cake, she incorporated the groom's favorite game logo on the top. Our guests ate it up! We love good cake, and hers was up there with the best we've ever had!

We met with Kim and did our cake tasting with her. They were super flexible and there was a miscommunication on setting the date but they were going to make it work no matter what! Kim was great and jumped at the ideas we had and found ways to make what we wanted happen! Needless to say the accommodation and the flexibility helped our decision in hiring them!

Michelle made us a custom flavor cake for our wedding - honey lemon lavender - and it was the best wedding cake I’ve ever tasted! The buttercream so fluffy and light and not overly sweet - the flavors balanced perfectly and the cake itself not a bit dry. Oh - and it was gorgeous! We want to give Michelle a 10+ for her exceptional service at my wedding. From the very beginning, Michelle and her staff were extremely professional and attentive. They had a beautiful (and delicious!) presentation of cake selections for us to choose from. We designed a groom's cake she had never done before and all of the guests raved about the groom's chocolate cake due to her fantastic and creative work. And it was so moist! She also made a stunning bride’s cake that I wanted to have a cascade of white roses spiraling down. She worked beautifully with my florist and it turned out exactly as I had hoped! We also used her services to make decorated cookies for our rehearsal dinner and they were so colorful and creative in addition to being delicious! She won't overcharge you and will work within your budget. We highly recommend Michelle! Thank you, Michelle for going above and beyond to ensure my wedding day was perfect.

Yes!! So so good. A perfect mix for my buttercreme favorite and his whipped favorite. Tons of good flavors that it’s hard to narrow- so we picked 3! Definitely go with Michelle. She even did a late delivery so the icing wouldn’t melt. The only improvement would be to have a Dropbox for returns, we were from out of town and ended up forgetting they were closed Sun and Mon.

Michelle and her team did a fantastic job with our cupcake wedding cake. The cake topper had flowers that our florist provided so it also matched the flowers at the reception. The quality was awesome and it was so easy for our guests to just pick up a cupcake and go back to their table.

You can see from the many other reviews that Michelle's Patisserie is a wonderful place and does beautiful work. I can only add that our personal experience was delightful. Michelle was so easy and pleasant to work with and she provided one of the most complimented items from our wedding, a lovely succulent-themed cupcake cake. She was able to accommodate a late request for gluten-free cupcakes, which were fantastic. I couldn't be happier with Michelle's and I would recommend them to anyone.

We hired Michelle’s Patisserie to do the cake and GF cupcakes for our wedding and could not have been more pleased. Michelle was so friendly and when I couldn’t decide between two flavors I liked at our tasting, she came up with a way to combine the two together and it was AMAZING! I will definitely be using them again for all of my future cake needs.

We highly recommend Michelle's Patisserie for any occasion. We used them for our wedding, but plan to use them again for other occasions in the future. We had an excellent experiencing from start to finish. Our cake exceeded all of our expectations. It turned out absolutely beautiful and tasted like heaven on earth. Our family and friends enjoyed it as well. We can't wait to order another cake one day!!

I had a three tier cake, banana rum and Kahlua Tres Leches. I love cake, so please believe me when I say this was way more than mouth watering good. Michelle catered to all of our needs and wants and helped us create the exact cake we dreamed of. I fell in love with the design and the flavor and this business. We found Michelle's Patisserie through our venue, and they were amazing! We had a tasting months in advanced and we went for the Vanilla cake, Coconut cake, German Chocolate Cake, and Bailey's Chocolate Cake to taste. For the brides cake I choose both the vanilla cake and Coconut cake, which two layers were coconut and the other was coconut. For the grooms cake we chose the Bailey's Chocolate and it was the hit! Both cakes were gone by the end of the night and all my guest told me they were amazing and some had multiple pieces! (we decided not to put the top layer in the freezer, but I do plan on going there for our one year anniversary to get those cakes again)

I loved every aspect of our wedding cake experience with Michelle's Patisserie! When we went in for our tasting, we thought all 4 flavors we went into taste were absolutely DELICIOUS and Michelle worked with us to figure out how to incorporate all 4 flavors into our cakes. In the end, we decided to have a wedding cake with 2 of the flavors and the remaining 2 flavors went towards cupcakes for our grooms "cake." Michelle is incredibly talented and the cakes they create are absolutely stunning. Besides being beautiful, they also are incredibly tasty!! Michelle's Patisserie also has the option to rent supplies from them, or bring your own if you have something special to use.

My cake and cupcakes were deliciously amazing! Michelle and her team did an amazing job with creating a cake of my dreams. It was extremely aesthetically pleasing and the floral design down the front turned out better than I could have even imagined! We had a three tier cake that was red velvet and chocolate and we had vanilla cupcakes that were decorated for A&M. Overall, we loved that we chose Michelle for both the best tasting cake possible and for the wonderful service we received!

My wedding cake was THE BEST CAKE I've ever eaten! I was so happy with the aesthetic outcome of the cake that I cried when I saw it. I am still amazed that the cake tasted just as good as it looked. We got 3 flavrors (tres leches, red velvet and carrot cake). The customer service we received from Michelle and her team was nothing short of amazing. Michelle was an absolute JOY to work with! My husband and I wanted custom flavors of mini cupcakes---including a Dunkaroos cupcake, a Fruity Pebbles cupcake, and a vanilla almond with fresh strawberries cupcake--all of which she was able to deliver on demand! She was wonderful!
When we saw our dessert table inside our beautiful Ma Maison venue, I was speechless! Everything was absolutely PERFECT! Michelle is also great at keeping secrets. :) I wanted to surprise my husband with a Death Star groom's cake, and I told her to keep it a secret from him. Whenever we needed to come in for tastings or for debriefings of our wishes for our wedding desserts, my husband would say, "Man, I wish we could afford that Death Star cake." I would just sigh, "Me, too," and Michelle would hide her smile and move on to divert his attention. He had NO clue about it until the day of the wedding, and he was SO excited!

Michelle is an artist and the flavors were rich. By far the best wedding cake I've ever tasted. She did a thee-tier cake with three flavors, which was quickly devoured. She also was masterful at capturing my vision and can do literally any design you give her with amazing detail. She also did a Star Trek-themed groom's cake for us that was a huge hit. She can create anything you ask and the flavors are exquisite.

We had tastings at 5 different bakeries in the Austin, TX area and Michelle's Patisserie was by far the most delicious and reasonably priced. And on our wedding day she did not disappoint! The wedding cake (pumpkin spice) and groom's cake (chocolate mocha) were exactly how we envisioned and tasted better than we remembered! We are both Aggies and wanted the groom's cake to be the Texas A&M seal (and requested a design with NO fondant icing) and Michelle did an excellent job with the detail and making it look very classy using the BEST chocolate mocha icing! Everyone we worked with was incredibly sweet and professional, and we highly recommend Michelle's Patisserie!

We used Michelle's Patisserie for our wedding cake, and it turned out fantastic! So many compliments from guests. When we first met with Michelle, I had a vision that I created using photoshop and left her with that picture- it was an exact representation! They did a beautiful with the gradient (ombre). And the flavors were fantastic- the top layer was tres leches and the bottom was Reese's peanut butter cup (drool). We also had 2 sheet cakes with both flavors to save money- those were just as presentable. Overall, with cake for up to 125 people, it was reasonably priced, with the artistry in consideration. Thank you Michelle and your team for such great cake! :)

The cakes were exactly what I wanted--and they both tasted great, very moist and full of flavor.
Both cakes looked amazing at the wedding reception! I received tons of compliments on both the flavor and the appearance.
I made last minute changes and Michelle did not even bat an eye, very helpful!
The best lemon cake ever, and the chocolate groom's cake was super moist.

We had the Tres Leches for the wedding cake, which is moist and delicious, and the chocolate indulgence for our groom's cake. The groom's cake got eaten up pretty quickly!! We got a strawberries and creme cake, which was our official wedding cake, and also a tres leches sheet cake for variety. I had several people tell me that it was the best wedding cake they had every had!

After tasting several of Michelle's cakes before (wedding and birthday cakes) we knew she had to do our cakes. We had other tasting but nothing beat the flavors and value of Michelle's. We had 2 cakes (groom and bride) the Groom's cake was the Reese's cake and mine was the Chocolate Amaretto and Dulce de Leche flavors. AMAZING! the cake was moist even a week later! Luckily my Texas based mother-in-law and sister-in-law were up for the task, so I e-mailed Michelle for her availabilty and set up a tasting (all of my communication with Michelle was done over email - she was always prompt with replies even while the shop was on vacation and extremely nice and helpful!).
My in-laws loved the cakes they tasted, so I went ahead and ordered a two-tier cream of coconut wedding cake and sent Michelle pictures of the type of design I was hoping for (simple but pretty). I also ordered a Reese's cake groom's cake, designed like a Shiner beer bottle cap. I could not have been happier when I saw the cakes, especially the wedding cake, on my wedding day. They came out exactly as I'd hoped they would. As for taste, the Reese's cake was very moist, very good, but the cream of coconut was like a dream! I've never had a better tasting cake in my life, it was unbelievable. (it's possible I stuffed my face with the top tier the next day since we couldn't take it back to NY with us :]) So yes, I highly recommend Michelle's Pattisserie!!

These guys make the most amazing cakes that not only look incredible but they actually taste delicious too! The price was very reasonable for the amount of work they put into their cakes. They also had the cakes delivered in perfect condition and on time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone on their big day!!

Our wedding cake was so beautiful...it was the focal point of the reception and our guests raved about how it looked, but more importantly, how good it tasted. Michelle helped us design the cake that would fit our fairy tale theme perfectly. It was a stunning cake and the flavors were to die for!

Wow, so many great things to say about Michelle. She took time with us to create our image of what we wanted our cake to look like on our wedding day. She never made us feel rushed or didn't mind drawing up another design. Willing to work with us on price. We received so many compliment on how great the cake tasted. Michelle and Natalee did a GREAT job on our wedding cakes! Both cakes were delicious and I’ve received nothing but compliments. Bride’s flavor was tres leches and groom’s was chocolate raspberry mousse. Natalee worked with me on the design of the bride’s cake and provided a sketch that captured not only what I envisioned but improved upon it. The groom’s cake was based on a picture I supplied and turned out very nice. The cakes were delivered on time and without any issues. I highly recommend Michelle’s Patisserie!

Michelle was so sweet! All of her cakes were so amazing and delicious. She was able to work with our budget and still make our cakes look phenomenal! I will go back to Michelle’s Patisserie for future events. Everyone raved about the cakes and we love the fact that even after the wedding, the cakes are still moist and very much enjoyable.

Michelle's Patisserie was the only place that would make our favorite cake, tres leches, for a wedding (she said because wedding cakes are tall it's hard to make them moist, but she is able to do it!). We also tasted other flavors and they were all great but the tres leches was the best! She also puts a little cinnamon which gives it a tasty twist! Michelle is very professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

Michelle did an awesome job on our wedding cakes. Not only are the cakes delicious, they look fabulous too! They have so many great flavors to choose from. My husband just fell in love with the banana indulgence flavor. It was so yummy! Not to mention, he is a huge Longhorn fan and Michelle decorated it to his liking of orange and white with Longhorn and UT logos. It was a big hit at our wedding. I would high recommend Michelle's Patisserie to anyone looking for cake for any occasion. My husband and I will definitely be using them again for future cakes!

WOW! When we did our tasting, I had to ditch another cake vendor to hire Michelle! I wanted to eat everything on my plate! She decorated it the way I wanted it! She was so flexible with every request! Not to mention the groom's cake too! Her cakes were 10 times better than the first vendor we were going to hire not and half the cost! I wanted to call her back and ask her to bake me my 6" cake now and not wait a year to have it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to eat much of my cake.... it's always the case at weddings. So I may need to really call her. I love her cakes so much!

Michelle's Patisserie was the first place we did our tasting at and everything we sampled as amazing and savory! We both fell in love with her white chocolate with fresh raspberry cake! We decided to have a 4-tier buttercream cake with alternating purple/cream-colored layers, each layer a different design. It looked absolutely gorgeous when it was delivered to our venue the day of the wedding and everyone enjoyed eating it at our reception!

My wedding cake was not only the most beautiful I have ever seen it was delicious too! The University of Texas poker chip was also adorable and tasted yummy. Ninety percent of the cakes were gone in the first 20 minutes of serving them.

We selected Michelle's Patisserie as our Wedding cake vendor, and we were so happy that we did! They are very easy to work with and we were able to customize just about everything. We selected the flavor and design of the wedding cake and it turned out so beautiful and delicious! We also ordered a groom's cake from them - since we had something specific in mind for the groom's cake, we sent them a few images of what we wanted and they gave us exactly that! It was amazing what they could produce and our guests were very impressed as well! We highly recommend Michelle's Patisserie!

Let me say, I love cake! I was surprised when we went cake tasting that I did not love all wedding cake. We had tastings with multiple vendors and I was disappointed with the taste. I mean these things are expensive, so they should be delicious... When we had a tasting at Michelle's, I wanted to eat the entire cake! It was beautiful as well. I wasn't sure about the design and she sketched a drawing to make us a unique cake based on my likes and dislikes. We had the strawberries and cream wedding cake. We also had a chocolate birthday cake since it was my groom, nephew, and my bridesmaid's birthdays. Both delicious, so glad we got some boxed to go. We ate cake at 2 am in the hotel. Yum!

Michelle's Patisserie provided our wedding cake, grooms cake, and custom cake pops to resemble our pug for our reception. Guests raved about all three! The pug pops were a huge hit - they are some of the first things that guests have mentioned after the wedding is over. The wedding cake was beautiful (we did an ombre cake with colors of the sunset) - just gorgeous (and delicious)! The grooms cake was Red Sox themed (because the groom is from Boston). Guests raved about it as well - even down to the amount of detail in the bat! We can't recommend Michelle's Patisserie enough!

Especially my Husband's grooms cake. I wanted it to be surprises so I had Michelle’s Patisserie make a Tank cake! My Husband is an Army veteran and he drove the Tanks so I thought it would be awesome if they made a tank cake with logos of all of his favorite things! It was Awesome!!! He loved it! We got Strawberries and Cream for the wedding cake and Chocolate Hazelnut for the grooms cake they were both so delicious our guests loved both flavors! Over all they did an Awesome job!

Michelle's Patisserie knocked our wedding cakes out of the park. After a fun meeting, where we showed them some pictures of what we wanted and ate a lot of amazing cake, picking them was an easy decision. The end results were not only gorgeous but they tasted better than any wedding cake I've ever eaten. My husband and I had a plate of cake left for us by our venue when we went to bed that night and we ate every crumb. Our guests commented on each cake, and there was nothing left at the end of the night.

Michelle's provided quality service from planning, advising and quality. We had a reception for over 200 in our backyard. The cake was beautiful and tasted wonderful. They delivered and did cake cutting...excellent! I highly recommend.
