Michelle and her team were a dream team to have on my wedding day! My bridal hair and makeup was one of the most important decisions to me because it truly would encompass my whole bridal look, be captured in photos, and be one of the main things that people saw when they looked at me walking down the aisle. When I saw Michelle’s professional background and portfolio, I was blown away and knew I wanted to book her. We hired Michelle and her team for hair and makeup for myself, six bridesmaids, and two moms (9 total). They had us ready in under 5 hours and everyone loved how their looks turned out! I got to do a trial of my hair and makeup a few months before the wedding and Michelle blew me away when I saw everything come together. I showed her inspiration pictures and she made everything look even more beautiful than I had imagined. On the wedding day, she did exactly the same thing and the entire look held all night—even through all the dancing! Michelle made me feel like the most beautiful bride and I feel so lucky to have found her. She is also so kind and helped me navigate all of me and my bridal party’s questions—including navigating the world of hair extensions. She even provided a touch-up kit for each girl to have their lip color, makeup wipes, and other essentials. I’m so grateful to have found Michelle! -

Michelle is the best!
I feel so lucky that I was able to book with Michelle for my wedding. Originally I planned to do my own hair, but changed my mind about a month before my wedding. Michelle happened to have my wedding date free and was able to accommodate me for a last minute trial before my wedding. The trial result was beautiful and since it was rainy that day, I really got to see how her style lasted. I have naturally curly hair so I’m no stranger to how fluffy and frizzy my hair can get in the rain, but the style she did lasted perfectly.
For the wedding she was a true professional — on time, friendly, and just a great presence to have in the room. We all had some different hair types and challenges (naturally curly, never holds a curl, etc.) but everyone was really happy with their hair. One of my bridesmaids has had her hair done professionally for weddings before, but this is the first time that her hair actually held a curl the whole night. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone! -

Michelle made the entire process seamless and enjoyable from my make-up trial to the big day. She took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life beautifully.
On the wedding day, she arrived on time, fully prepared, and with a calm and friendly demeanor. My make-up and hair were flawless—exactly what I wanted! It lasted all day and night, even through tears of joy and lots of dancing.
If you're looking for someone who is not only incredibly talented but also a joy to work with, Michelle is the perfect choice! -

Sweet and talented makeup artist!
Michelle is so talented and a pleasure to work with, I am so glad I booked her for my wedding makeup! She came recommended to me by my hair stylist who I had already booked - but Michelle does amazing hair too so if you need that done I would recommend you book her for both. Her pricing was quite reasonable given her level of talent and the impressive clientele she works with outside of weddings. She is super sweet, got through myself and my 5 bridesmaids and mother/mother-in-law quickly but still spent time making sure we looked perfect. My makeup lasted all night even though I was quite sweaty from dancing! -

I only hired Michelle for hair services for myself and my bridal party on my wedding day, and of 9 women, not one was disappointed with their final look (truly a miracle). Michelle and her assistant arrived on time and ready to go, and they were able to create everything from textured up-do's to wavy half-up styles with ease. I hired Michelle because of her confidence in being able to execute a variety of looks, and I fully trusted her to be able to achieve the laid-back up-do I was envisioning (I don't live in VA so wasn't able to trial with her). She's professional, efficient, and incredibly talented, and everyone felt so beautiful (and every style lasted 8+ hours!). Michelle made everything easy, and I'd highly recommend her to any bride for a stress-free wedding morning! -

I would definitely recommend Michelle! Since the hair and makeup artists play such an important role in your wedding day appearance AND spend the entire morning with the bride and her crew on the day of the wedding, I knew that I wanted an artist that felt like a good fit both talent-wise and personality-wise. Michelle knocked it out of the park on both fronts! I scheduled a makeup and hair test and after 5 minutes, knew she was the vendor for me. The completed look sealed the deal! Her wide range of hairstyles (both updo and down) blew me away. Her makeup is stunning, flawless, yet natural. She was so easy to talk to and kicked off our wedding day on a great foot. My family and maid of honor loved her as well! I am so thankful that she was a part of our big day. Don't think, just book DC Bridal!!! -

Incredible Talent and Wonderful Experience!
Not only does Michelle have amazing talent at doing hair and make up, but she is also so informative throughout the glam transformation! My friend and I loved asking her questions and hearing her opinions about products and techniques. I tend to be super anxious, but Michelle’s calm and warm personality helped me relax the entire time it took to get me ready on my wedding day. After showing her only one inspiration photo, she absolutely nailed the look. I could not have been more pleased with how my hair and make up turned out. I also found that it was difficult finding someone who specializes in both hair and make up, and Michelle worked wonders in both areas! I’m so happy I found her and will definitely be contacting her again in the future! -

Michelle was fantastic to work with!!! She was early to set up, really listened to my vision for the big day, really good at makeup and hair, and most of all, she was kind and sweet. Just a wonderful person and professional!! Also, as you can see from the pictures, everything turned out amazing!!! I did a bridal trial a couple of months before, and she even brainstormed further about how to make my look even better during the gap period before my wedding. She is also open to changes between the bridal trial and big day. Just a joy to work with!!! Thank you, Michelle!!! -

Michelle was so fun to work with. I originally had hired Michelle for my hair. Due to COVID, I had to change my wedding plans a few times, and she was always so accommodating to my changes. I had a change in venue location, a change in my bridal party number (from 5 ppl to 2 and then to just my mother), and then when my makeup artist canceled my service just a couple months before the wedding, Michelle stepped in and did both my makeup and hair. She had a calming presence during the hair and makeup session. We chatted about makeup techniques and how we met our significant other... it was just such a relaxing and fun way to start the wedding day. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I would 100% recommend Michelle for your wedding hair and makeup. -

I had a great experience! Michele was prompt at responding, and was so flexible working with me on finding the right look. She came super prepared and my hair and makeup stayed looking amazing for about 10 hours until I got home to take it all off. Super friendly and would highly recommend! -

I very rarely leave reviews but had to in this case because I simply cannot recommend Michelle enough. I found Michelle through WeddingWire and hired her for my January elopement. We did a hair and makeup trial a few weeks prior and Michelle made me extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. She took time to really understand the exact look I wanted (I'm very picky) and provided her proffessional opinion/expertise on how to get the exact look I was shooting for. She has years of professional experience in the makeup/hair industry and pays close attention to every little detail.
In addition to her professional experience she has a calming, reassuring personaility and will put you right at ease when you see how skilled and prepared she is. She is also extremely responsive and was flexible when I had to change my wedding date last minute due to snow! She takes COVID very seriously and wore and mask and face shield the entire time. She took extra precautions by making sure she sanitized her hands and beauty tools multiple times throughout the process.
I cannot reccommend Michelle enough. This was the BEST investment I made for my wedding day. I felt aboslutely beautiful and did not want to take my makeup off at the end of the day. Book her right now! -

Wow, just wow! DC Bridal was a styled shoot favorite, all the brides wanted to work with her. She brought out the bride's natural beauty and created a look they were in love with. I literally CANNOT say enough things about Michelle! She is incredible and was so sweet and detail-oriented. She helped me in this time of COVID-crisis when my original make up artist canceled due to (surprise) COVID. Michelle is so attentive but laid back at the same time, as well as friendly and fun. She genuinely loves what she does and she is amazing at it as well. I looked GORGEOUS on my wedding day, and it was all because of Michelle’s expertise. She captured the vision of what I wanted to look like and BAM! made it happen and more. I love her so much that I am keeping her in mind for future events!

Wow, Michelle is amazing. It’s a miracle that through all the humidity, sweat, and tears, by the end of the night my makeup was still perfect!
Michelle was super accommodating and flexible and did a fantastic job on the day, not only with my hair and makeup but with two mothers and all of the bridesmaids. She flexed to each person’s style and was a true expert. More than anything, she was lovely to work with, super responsive, and a joy to have there on the day while we were getting ready. I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough! Michelle is consistently professional, kind, friendly, timely in her responses, and AMAZING at her job. She did my hair and makeup trial the same day that we had our engagement photos (highly recommend doing this!) and patiently and attentively listened to my preferences and gave me exactly what I wanted - a beautiful natural bridal glam look. I wanted an updo for the wedding, and once I saw how that looked and was satisfied with it, Michelle took it down and curled it so I had a different look for the engagement photos - genius! On the day of the wedding, Michelle and her colleague Nicole (also SO amazing!!) arrived on time and ready to work. Michelle and Nicole did hair and makeup for me, my mom, and five bridesmaids. Everyone looked and felt so beautiful! We also really appreciated Michelle and Nicole's attentiveness to COVID precautions - they wore face masks, gloves, and face shields the entire time and had enhanced sanitizing procedures with the hair and makeup materials. Everyone felt safe, comfortable, beautiful, satisfied and special - all things we all want to feel on our wedding day! I highly recommend Michelle - if you are considering hiring her, please do - you will not be disappointed! -

Omg MICHELLE IS THE FREAKING BEST!
She listens; is patient and super super skilled at what she does. My husband was hesitant about me “looking all unrecognizable” with all this makeup but she made me look natural and flawless at the same time ! I couldn’t have asked for more. Michelle is amazing to work with , makes you laugh if you got the wedding day jitters and is capable of turning any of your favorite makeup or hair styles into reality.

Highly recommend
Michelle was amazing to work with. She listens well and is very professional. She got to my hotel room early and made sure I got everything done by the time my photographer arrived. She did my hair exactly as I asked and I got a lot of compliments from our guests about it! My makeup stayed put all night and my face didn’t get greasy as well which was the main thing I was concerned about (I have very oily skin)! My lashes stayed put too! -

Loved my hair and makeup!
Michelle did an amazing job. She definitely knows what she’s doing and only needed a few instructions to know what I wanted better than I did. She understood my need for minimal makeup (me but better) and did an updo with the perfect amount of twists and turns. The cost were on par with others I reached out to but she didn’t charge any extras for travel, early start time, lashes, etc. I did learn that she is more likely to respond to texts than email :) I would definitely recommend her for on-site services! -

Michelle was great. My bridal party and I all looked and felt very beautiful on my wedding day. We had a hard time planning my bridal trial initially, but once we connected and got rolling we were able to communicate effectively and execute my vision. My bridesmaids were all very happy with their hair and makeup. We had about 10 women doing hair and makeup on my wedding morning, and Michelle brought herself and 3 other women to help. It went very smoothly and we were all ready to go exactly when we needed to be. I’d recommend her services to anyone looking! -
