Michele is amazing! She did both our engagement and wedding photos. They both came out great and Michele is an amazing photographer (along with her husband Andy who was the second photographer at our wedding) and captured it beautifully. Our guests and wedding party loved Michele and she was right there with us every step of the way and focused on what we wanted. From meeting her for the first time through our engagement photos to the wedding and receiving our wedding photos Michele was awesome! I highly recommend using her as your wedding photographer you will not be disappointed at all!

Where can I even begin? Michele is stellar. The experience with her before, during and even after our wedding has been exceptional. From day 1 our first phone chat, I knew she’d get us. (Also helps we married guys with the same name!) We met for our engagement shoot, were both nervous and she made us not only feel comfortable, but laugh and smile (naturally) during the shoot. On our wedding weekend she and her team were incredible. We had an outdoor fall wedding and were not prepared for the shocking rain. Michele, her husband Andy, and team made the situation calm, and the improvised with shooting in a greenhouse. The pictures came out so so beautiful. They captured every moment, every group shot, and every happy tear. Even after the pictures we’ve kept in touch. She notices every detail right down to sending a holiday gift. I wish we could do it all again it was so much fun working with her.

Michele is a one-of-kind person to work with. Before contacting Michele, we were in love with her gorgeous website! I remembering going through work she had posted and saying to myself, I have seen nothing like this- I need her! Right from the start she goes above and beyond to make sure you are completely comfortable and confident in choosing her to capture your wedding celebration. I can say with 100% certainty both my new husband and I are in awe of our photos and love every single one of them! Michele captures moments & feelings in her work effortlessly. She is able to see something through her lens that shines through to make each picture she takes unique and true to her style. Throughout the entire process of communication leading up to the actual event, Michele does a phenomenal job at making you feel at ease and prepared. Michele has such an amazing personality and ora about her, from the moment I met her over a three hour lunch, to the year of e-mailing, the event she put on for her brides, my engagement shoot, to my actual fairytale wedding day- I knew we had found (my mom had found*) the perfect individual to capture celebration and I found a fabulous person I wanted to befriend beyond! Michele is great. If you are lucky enough to work with her, you will be so pleased with what she does, the little but big touches she makes, and her fun, friendly, lovely personality all shining through! Michele is absolutely amazing. She had done my husbands cousins wedding, and I fell in love with the pictures. I immediately contacted her after I got engaged. My fiance (now husband) and I met with Michele, looked through her work, and immediately fell in love with her talent. I didn't even look any farther, I knew I wanted her to be the photographer at my wedding. She is a sweetheart, and even though I hate getting my picture taken (and don't even usually look very good in pictures), I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed, and my pictures are absolutely beautiful. I would highly, highly recommend her for anyone looking for a photographer.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! Michele has this amazing ability to capture moments and not just the formal shots. From the moment we had our first meeting we knew that Michele was the best choice for our special day. Not only is she extremely talented but she is one of the most kind hearted, genuine person I have ever met. Michele is an awesome and talented photographer who was able to perfectly capture our special day! The first time we visited her website, we knew her photography style was a perfect match for us. We were looking for a photographer that would steer away from the traditional shots and she listened to our requests for more candid and lifestyle pictures. We met with her prior to our wedding for our engagement pics and quickly felt comfortable working with her and she was able to give us tips to get the best shots. The wedding day was awesome as she got all of the shots we requested and was cool, calm and collected during the hectic day! We received our photos a few weeks ago and are in love with them! She was able to capture the details, party, happiness so perfectly and I will never get sick of looking at the album. If you want someone who provides the best shots and is a pleasure to work with, then Michele is your girl!

Michele is a super talented photographer and the ultimate professional. Josiah and I got married back in October and I am still in love with our wedding photos. Knowing that Michele was our photographer put me at ease on our wedding day. I knew that I could trust her to capture every moment and she did just that and more! Michele also took the time to personally get to know us and what we liked and I love that about her. I plan on recommending her to everyone I know in need of a wedding photographer!

Michele and Andy were two of my favorite people to work with when it came to wedding planning. My husband and I were so nervous to get in front of the camera at first for our engagement photos and Michele was able to make us feel at ease and captured the most intimate yet natural moments. Once we received our photos from the wedding I was in awe. I couldn't have imagined more stunning photos that captured the atmosphere, details and family and friends enjoying themselves. Michele did our engagement and wedding photos and I could not be happier. My husband is not the most acquiescent to photos and she made him comfortable and was even able to coax a smile. When I saw the 1,000 wedding photos she went us I could not stop smiling. She captured all the little, natural moments without making us pose for ridiculous staged shots. She was so easy and fun to work with and I would highly recommend her work to anyone.

Michele and Andy photographed my friends wedding and I immediately fell in love. So in love in fact that I chose my wedding date solely around when they were available. They have an amazing ability to capture the little moments. The natural moments. None of our wedding photos are staged or painfully posed. They caught each moment exactly as it was. Their quality is great and their personalities make it even better. They are so laid back, so easy to work with, and made so sure that everything we wanted was taken care of. Michele did our engagement session in Newport and suggested the location. She hit it out of the park, both for location and photos. She made us feel so comfortable. We now call them photografriends and though our wedding is over I will find excuses in the future to work with them again. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a photographer who creates great work and truly cares about you and your experience.

Michele Ashley’s pictures will speak much louder than any words that I could ever possibly write, but I will try my best to say how amazing she truly is! She is a wonderful photographer and has some of the best help in the world, her husband Andy! Her friendly, welcoming and fun attitude makes you fall in love with her and her photography even more. Michele cares about the people she works with, asking about their lives and relationships. She takes every moment during her photo shoots to make you feel like you are the center of the world and like you could actually be a professional model, while making you completely comfortable. Her photo shoots feel so natural and never like you are posing, although I loved it when she would tell us to do something a little silly that she knows will create a beautiful photo in the end! Michele has taken the pictures for our engagement, our small, intimate marriage ceremony, and our wedding. Every single photo was perfect, and that is not an exaggeration! Her attention to detail and all the time and love she puts into her work shows in every picture you get from her. I could not imagine working with anyone else for such important moments that we want captured in photos. She gets your photos back to you so incredibly quick, even though she takes time to edit and perfect every single one. Michele catches every moment you could possibly want to look back on in every one of your occasions that she is present for. I absolutely love working with Michele and I am so happy to have her photos to help us remember such wonderful days in our lives! I already cannot stop looking at them daily. Where oh where to begin...I cannot possibly say enough good things about Michele and Michele Ashley Photography!!! Booking our photographer was the most important aspect of planning our wedding to me and also the most stressful...I wanted to have someone who we were comfortable with and who could capture the true essence of our relationship, and it took us a couple tries to find the right fit for us. We met with several area photographers not to mention sent countless emails and inquiries, but there were always pro and cons after talking with them and I never felt connected or at ease with any of them. When we happened on Michele, through mutual friends, we truly got all that I wanted and more, so so SO much more! Michele was my favorite part of our whole wedding planning experience...she is truly a one-of-a-kind, sweet, genuine, incredibly talented, and beautiful person in every way! I am beyond thankful that our paths have crossed, that she has become a valued and dear friend, and cannot be more grateful and honored to have her as our wedding photographer! She captured some of the most beautiful photos that I've seen and was always nothing short of professional and wonderful! You are her priority and she completely puts you at ease and lights up a room all on her own! Michele is fantastic!! We had met so many photographers who just sat there, barely talking to us... then we met Michele! She is so bubbly, outgoing and fun and we were hooked right away. I didn't love the idea of doing an engagement session, but Michele convinced me. She came all the way up to my hometown of Newburyport and did such an amazing job. Now on to the wedding... she was so sweet the months leading up to it; she even sent us candy on Valentine's Day! She also set up an event for all of her brides which was so great. She was very responsive to emails and even gave out her phone number and would text.
On the day of, she absolutely killed it. She was a calming person in the hotel for me, and her assistant was so sweet. Her husband, Andy was our second photographer and my husband loved him (I did too!). He fit right in at the house when taking pictures in the chaos of getting ready (the wedding was at my in-laws) and was a big help to my husband. She did the most amazing job and absolutely captured what our day was all about. Everyone who has seen the finished pictures has raved about them. I can't say enough about her work ethic, her amazing personality and her finished product. She is a gem. We would highly recommend Michele :).

Michele and Andy are the best! From the first time we met with Michele, we knew she was the right photographer for us. Michele and Andy made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during our engagement session which was great, because we were so nervous! They were so helpful, calming, and organized the day of our wedding. They had so many creative ideas and shots, and they blended in seamlessly and took lots of candids, which is what we love! Not to mention, all of our photos are seriously gorgeous!!! We love all of them and feel so grateful that Michele and Andy were there to capture our day. I found Michele through my venue and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I met with her and we clicked right away. Michele is so personable, and it almost feels like we've known her forever. Our engagement and wedding photos were AMAZING. I honestly felt like I was looking through a magazine and it still is hard to believe they are of MY wedding. My husband and I chose to work with Michelle shortly after meeting her. Her presentation of materials, the contract, and her work was incredibly professional. She was very flexible with us and kept us updated of any and all unexpected changes in her end. She is super fun and easy to work with. All our friends who had been previously married expressed how impressed and jealous they were of our choice in photographers. It was well worth going over the photography budget we had set to work with Michelle.

Wow, I don't even know where to start?! Michele is absolutely awesome. I met with about 10 photographers, it was very time consuming but I was looking for a photographer that 1- I clicked with 2- Quality of there photos, with the new style like what you see in bridal magazines, not the older formal type. 3-what everyone basically looks for is price. I had a very big ALL day wedding so I needed her for 9 hours!! She met all these and BEYOND! Her personality is awesome, the style of her photos were right out of a magazine, and the packages she offers are more then affordable for how talented she is! Her husband Andy is also amazing and so talented! I just cant say enough about how wonderful my wedding, engagement and boudoir pictures came out. Also wanted to note how they were right on time, professional, and very organized . If you are looking for a photographer that you will feel like you have known your whole life, and want your wedding to be captured in the most natural "in the moment" way, she's your girl!

Michele and Andy are so talented at what they do. The moment I became engaged I knew I wanted them to photograph my wedding. where do i begin? From the moment my husband and I met with Michele at our first meeting we knew that no one else could ever compare. You find the man of your dreams (of course the dress of your dreams too) you plan for years, or two in our case lol ! the dreaming and endless possibilities don't ever end. Then you find this one AMAZING person (michele) the one that will remind you of how much all of the stress of planning was worth it . Every single photo felt like we were at our wedding all over again . The amount of love, dedication, and care she puts into her photos are beyond the stars. She went above and beyond for us , made us feel so comfortable. The laughter and joy she brought along with her made every moment we spent with her effortless. Michele photographed our wedding on Cape Cod and we could not be happier with the result. She was lovely to work with from our first meeting and engagement session to the actual wedding. She captured my husband and I, along with our family and friends perfectly. During the wedding day Michele was more than flexible and worked with our schedule for how we wanted our day photographed. She got so many great shots without being obtrusive or in the way. Michele's rate is very reasonable and well worth the quality and effort that was put into our photographs. Michele was great to work with - friendly, responsive, professional, and easy-going. My husband and I were nervous about working with a photographer - we thought it would be awkward. She made us so comfortable during our engagement session, which made the wedding day go even more smoothly. She walked into my parents' house amidst wedding day chaos as all the girls were getting ready, but she just calmly started shooting the details and taking candid shots while we finished up. The pictures are beautiful, and we're very happy we chose Michele as our photographer!

My sister and I, with our fiance's, met with Michele together because we are both getting married. From the very first meeting with Michele, we both knew she was who we wanted to capture our weddings! Words cannot describe how happy my husband and I are that we had the opportunity to work with her! She was amazing and the pictures are beautiful! I can't stop looking at them and I have received so many compliments about them! She stayed in touch with us throughout the whole process, offered advice and captured every moment of our big day! I was so nervous about our "getting to know you" session because I do not enjoy getting my picture taken. Michele made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and it was so much fun! What I loved most about the wedding day is we barely even knew she was there. I've seen so many wedding photos that look posed and everyone looks uncomfortable, but Michele captures everything as it happens and I loved that! Michele did an amazing job photographing our spring wedding! I am really grateful that she was there to capture all the special moments (big and small!). Andy and Michele were our photographers for our August wedding and they did an amazing job. They photos they took captured so much from our special day. Having two photographers was great! They communicated with us before our big day and took note of the specific pictures we wanted to make sure we got. Meeting with them in person before hand was helpful because then we were already comfortable with them on the day of the wedding. When they showed up they stepped right into action, got involved with all the chaos that comes with a wedding day. Working with another couple was great because they really knew how to get my husband and I to interact rather than pose, and that in turn made for some very special pictures. To this day my family still comments on Andy and his dancing and Michele and how sweet she was. The pictures were given to us in a timely manner on a beautiful USB. We could not have asked for more from these wonderful people!

I cannot thank Andy and Michele enough for our incredible engagement photos! They are supreme examples of professionals, but more importantly, artists. Their attention to detail and overall performance is in my opinion (as well as my fiancee's, and all of our family members') truly unmatched! We were absolutely stunned and beyond thrilled with how our photographs turned out. Moreover, when we were working with Michele and Andy during the photo session, we bonded over laughs and the story of how my fiancee and I met, which allowed for genuine and true photos to be taken that are a fantastic representation of our character and our love. Of course, they were also a joy to work with and extremely timely with getting our photos back to us and e-mailing. I cannot say enough about Normand-Ashley Photography! I would encourage anyone who wants tasteful, creative, beautiful and genuine photos to work with these two! You couldn't be more satisfied by working with anyone else!

Andy and Michele are fantastic. I did my share of research before reaching out for photographers for our wedding, and based on their online gallery they were my clear number one choice. I was shocked and relieved when Michele responded saying they happened to be free the day of our wedding (it was only a few months in advance).

Come wedding day, they were incredibly accommodating and gave us great advice on the best/most efficient way to utilize their time. We pretty much didn't know they were there, and they asked for just the right amount of time for us to pose. Immediately afterwards my wife whispered to me "that was perfect".

Now I've been going over all the pictures for about a week and marveling at the moments Andy and Michele captured. They are both incredible photographers, providing fantastic quality both in the day and night while seemingly always being in the right place at the right time. From the beginning we were looking for photographers that can capture the fun of the evening - Andy and Michele were able to completely shatter my expectations and give us pictures that will remind us of all the joy our guests experienced (of course the pictures of me dancing suggest I didn't have too rough of a time either)!

Can't recommend these two enough! Next time I need photographer, going straight to them!

Michele and Andy were fantastic. They were recommended by a friend. The photos came out beautifully but they also had a good sense of humor and kept everything moving on the day and kept me calm. If you are looking for photographers who are easy to deal with, fun to have around, well priced and take natural photos that aren't over engineered these are your guys.

In planning my wedding, the most important thing was choosing the right photographer because he/she is responsible for recording the memories of the biggest day of my life. I had already seen a lot of Normand-Ashley's work and before I was even engaged I had fallen in love with them, and I especially loved that they offered two photographers. When we sat down to talk about how they work it was so much fun and so exciting; they shared their ideas and we shared ours (and they are so open to ideas!). Subsequently, we booked an engagement session with them to get a feel of their work first-hand. The session was so much fun! They followed us around like paparazzi, catching us in natural moments and occasionally making gentle suggestions that turned into some of my favorite poses! Obviously by then we were excited to book our wedding with Normand-Ashley! My favorite thing about these photographers is their skill in photojournalism! They are incredibly talented, and so creative! The moments they captured at my wedding bring the day back to life every time I look at the pictures. They were able to steal the emotions from our memories and reveal the joy that everyone shared that day. They used props and sparklers, making us feel like we were doing a magazine photo shoot, and later seeing the photos, further confirmed those feelings by amazing photography quality. Andy and Michelle are so much fun to work with and are fantastic at what they do! They will find and capture the great and subtle moments in your wedding that others could not! My husband I highly recommend Normand-Ashley Photography!!!

Andy and Michele did such an amazing job at our wedding. They were so easy to work with and were able to meet whatever needs we had. Our pictures came out perfect! I don't think there was even one that I didn't like. Our friends and family all purchased pictures from their website. My husband and I are so glad we found them! We would definitely use them again, as well as recommend them to anyone else looking for a photographer!

Normand Ashley Photography was a pleasure to work with! They were easy to get in touch with and made the planning process easy and stress-free. On the wedding day, Andy and Michele were always on hand to capture beautiful moments without being intrusive. We had a non-traditional timeline (we took many of our "posed" pictures before the ceremony) that they were able to accomodate with not problems. They were fun while still maintaining the higest level of professionalism.

When my husband and I first got engaged, we agreed that aside from eachother, the next most important part of our wedding was going to be selecting a photographer. We looked at alot of sites, met with a few different vendors, and none compared to the quality of and emotion captured by Normand-Ashley photgraphy. When we saw their work we knew we had to have them be part of our special day.
From the very beginning, communication with Andy and Michele (the amazing photographers that are Normand-Ashley Photography) was easy. They were professional, informative, and they went out of their way to work with us (no, really... we are 2 states away from them). Thank God they were available on our wedding day, because after talking to them and hearing their brilliant ideas combined with their energergy and enthusiasm, there was no question anymore- we had our photographers.
On our wedding day, Andy and Michele showed up right on time, and got right into taking pictures. Somehow they managed to be everywhere at once without ever getting in anyones way. I hardly saw them all day, yet, when the pictures came out (less than 2 weeks later-wow)they captured each and every moment of the entire event, from getting ready all the way through to the final dance. I couln't believe it. They took pictures that exceeded my expectations, expecailly for the price of their service (I would say it was fair but I honestly feel like I made out like a bandit for the extrordinary quality they provided). There were hundreds of different angles and perspectives. Nothing was missed. They captured the raw passion, excitement, and joy of our day. They caught the serious aspects of the night and the silly parts of the night so perfectly that when I look at the pictures, I can relive my wedding day over and over again.
I cannot say enough about how greatful I am to have worked with two people who are so talented and so dedicted to their work. I have had nothing but positive feedback from my family as well, as they are constantly saying that they have never seen wedding pictures as beautiful and candid as the ones we have. I can confidently say after having worked with them that if *YOU* are looking for someone to document a memorable time in *YOUR* life, you will not regret working with Normand-Ashley Photography.

We utilized Normand Ashley Photography to shoot my wife “trashing her dress”. Andy and Michelle from Normand Ashley photography were great. I highly recommend them; they were professional, courteous and truly cared for what we wanted out of the session. We spent the entire day with them and by the end of the day, they felt like friends! The pictures came out AMAZING. Far surpassing our expectations, we fell in love with all the pictures and now cannot decide which ones we like best!
