Best Wedding Ever!!

That's all I heard from our guests - "best wedding ever"! From the menu to the decor, everything was perfect! They were so flexible with everything and I even got to have my 2 dogs in the ceremony which NOBODY else would allow even with a deposit. I never once felt pressured or anxious during the planning process or even on the big day. Cheri and Jessica are amazing! They made sure I could safely eat everything they prepared due to my allergies and medical issues - they were so careful and it paid off! Thank you guys so much for everything, it really was everything I dreamed it would be and at such a reasonable price!!!

A wonderful venue!

When my fiancé and I got engaged, we knew that we were going to have a very large wedding (250+) and that we wanted a venue in the Southtowns.

Michael’s checked off every box right from the get go. When we toured Michael’s they were repainting their rooms and had recently had new carpeting put in. The manager, Nathan answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable with having our reception there!

We met with Renee a few months before our wedding to pick out our menu- we went with the dual plate option, the filet and the chicken bruschetta.

The day of our reception, everything was absolutely perfect. Our guests are still raving about the food (the grilled cheese shooters were a hit during cocktail hour) and everyone loved dinner. My husband and I could not have been happier with the service we got and would absolutely recommend Michael’s to anyone!!

Thank you to the staff at Michael’s for making our wedding reception so special!!!

We were planning our wedding throughout the pandemic, and even had to postpone twice - it was no problem at all. Throughout the whole pandemic, Cheri and Joe were very responsive and accommodating to this situation. They were very flexible when it came to changing dates and they made sure to keep us updated with all of the NYS Covid guidelines. Our ceremony and reception went perfectly as planned. The room looked beautiful and was set up just how we envisioned. We had a buffet, and almost two weeks later - people are still raving about the food! I would highly recommend working with Michael's for any event. Thank you Cheri and Joe for a beautiful day!

Look No Further!

I cannot say enough about how great our experience with Michael's was. 2020 was a challenging year to plan a wedding to say the least, especially since we had to change our date from June 2020 to September 2020. Cheri truly helped make our wedding planning process smoother and was a great support for us. She was flexible and responded to my many, many questions in a timely and professional manner. Even though we weren't allowed to have any dancing, she helped us think outside the box to still plan such a fun reception that we received so many compliments on from our guests and that we will remember forever! The space looked beautiful and the food was great. Michael's cannot be beat as far as affordability. Overall, great quality for a great price and great service!

Michael's hosted our dinner rehearsal and we could not be more happy with the selection of this vendor. The staff was amazing with the entire process of getting everything set for our rehearsal dinner. The banquet room and food service was prepared specifically for the time we reserved. The food was hot, delicious, and there was plenty to go around. The assortment of drinks was also great as it tailored to the many different varieties our guests personally enjoy. Michael's was flexible as well since we had to travel a bit of distance from our rehearsal ceremony. Overall thank you for making our rehearsal dinner beautiful and relaxing for our two families coming together.

My husband and I used Michael's as the location for our wedding reception back in mid-September 2017. We actually had a lunch reception after our morning church service instead of a traditional dinner reception, and it was so lovely! We had a breakfast buffet that included scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes and the most delicious french toast bake, along with some cheese, crackers, fruits and additional lunch items. We also had Michael's provide an ice cream bar with all the fixings. It was fabulous! The staff members at the event were so friendly to us and our guests, and both of the managers we worked with leading up to the reception, Cheri and Stephanie, were wonderful! Extremely professional and so helpful during the planning process. I would 100% recommend Michael's to anyone looking for a place to host their wedding reception!

I would highly recommend this venue. Stephanie was great to work with and very accommodating. She replied to my emails quickly. After looking at a bunch of other venues we decided on this venue due to the amount of things included in the price. Our guests raved about the quality of the food.

We recently got married on October 7 of this year at Michael's Catering and Banquets, it was an amazing night at this beautiful hall. To plan a wedding can be very stressful, let alone planning it from another country (Canada) but from the beginning when I got into contact with Stephanie to the very night of the wedding, everything went perfect, they reply as soon as possible to your email/call.. I have nothing but good stuff to say about these ladies and this hall, everything was perfect, and highly recommend Michael's for a wedding/shower/meeting etc .. Thank You Stephanie & Jessica for making our dream wedding come true !

Michael's was a perfect place for our wedding! The staff was extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process. All our guests, and my husband and I thought the food was fantastic at our sit down dinner, the staff even came around asking for seconds to make sure all guests and bridal party were satisfied. The remodeling of the venue looks great and there was plenty of space for my 225+ guests and a dance floor. I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion!

My Husband and I had a post-wedding Reception at Michaels and were so pleased with the whole event! Stephanie was our event coordinator, and she helped us every step of the way. In the Buffalo Area, you won't find a better value for quality than Michaels.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Michael’s on July 14th and we could not have been happier with our entire experience. From the first day we met Cheri and Stephanie we knew we wanted to have our reception there. They were extremely responsive and answered any and all questions we had. The day of the reception, Stephanie and the rest of her staff presented everything beautifully. Numerous times, Joe (I believe his name was) asked me, my wedding party, and my family if we needed anything. So incredibly accommodating! And we received so many compliments on the food. It was so delicious! All around an amazing experience. I would recommend Michael’s to anyone researching locations for their wedding reception!

Everything about this venue is phenomenal! We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our wedding. I was expecting at the time so we wanted to do a brunch, which they offer. The staff was absolutely incredible, kind, understanding and professional. Also, the food was amazing, not a single guest complained about not liking the food. With every questions and concern they had a quick response and made planning a wedding as stress free as possible. On top of everything, the venue came out beautiful! They decorated just as I pictured it would be. We loved everything about Michael’s and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a special event

Michael's banquet facility was the best venue we could have chosen for our special day! They took off a lot of the stress and pressure when it comes to organizing the wedding and ensuring that everything was beautiful and ran seamlessly. The staff treated us like we were members of their family, asking numerous times if there was anything that we needed, all under the leadership of Stephanie who was an absolute saint! Thank you so much for working so hard to make sure that our day was not only beautiful but memorable.

Perfect! Michaels was absolutely perfect for our wedding this past weekend! Our guests couldnt stop complimenting the staff, the food, and the decor! Stephanie was wonderful to work with. The entire staff at Michael's is wonderful!! We did our ceremony and rehearsal there. There is a lovely bridal suite to get ready on the big day. The outdoor patio/gazebo was beautiful, and is tented for your guests. The rehearsal dinner was great. We opted for the package that provided drinks and several savory appetizers. It was VERY affordable, too. :)

Thank you Michael's for making our day perfect! The staff at Micheal's (Stephanie especially) were wonderful from start to finish. Whether it was hundreds of emails full of questions to changing details almost up until the day of, they were on top of things. Michael's made our wedding day everything we imagined and more. The staff went above and beyond and treated everyone so niceley. All of my guests kept saying how amazing and accommodating the staff was. The food was absolutely delicious.. Everyone kept taking about it!!! My husband and I had our wedding at Michael's on August 15, 2015. We had our ceremony in their beautiful patio area and our reception in the Emerald room. We were so incredibly happy with everything and we are still getting compliments from our guests about how great everything was! Stephanie was so great to work with during the planning process. She was always quick to respond to my calls/e-mails and made sure we had everything we wanted on our big day. Erin was our manager on the night of and she did a phenomenal job! Our guests told us all of the staff was polite and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! At the end of the night they cleaned up everything for me and made sure all of my stuff was packed up in a box and ready to take home. Overall, from start to finish they did an amazing job! Michael's gave us our dream wedding! :)

Great location for a wedding and reception! We had our ceremony out on the patio and then brought our guests indoors for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Michael's Banquet Hall allowed us the freedom to add our own personal touches to the wedding such as a Lego Brick city built by our guests and a coffee service by one of our barista friends. We also booked a DJ and Photobooth service through Michael's which were convenient and worked out great!

Michael's did a fantastic job from start to finish. The staff was excellent! Very pleasant and social. The rooms are big and beautiful. Michael's is also extremely flexible and met every single one of my needs and wants. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure your special day is everything you have ever dreamed of. They also work with and are affiliated with all other vendors needed for your wedding such as djs, photo booth, cake places, creative beginnings, flower vendors and etc. The food is also outstanding. For my wedding I had 3 choices... Filet of steak, chicken Marsala and salmon. Each entree was spot on and delicious. The manager Stephanie is awesome! She always responds phone calls and emails immediately. She has everything under control while your trying to juggle the 100 other things that need to get done for your big day. I recommend this place 100% to anyone for their big day!

The personal attention to detail was outstanding - our reception was the only part of our day that we were not worried about because we knew in good hands- we would do it all over again and only at Michaels!!!

Everything was just perfect. The room looked amazing and decorated to perfection for what we asked for. If there was something we needed.. we just asked and it was brought right over to us. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Michaels banquet facility on October 4, 2013. We are so happy that we chose Michaels for our big day! Our ceremony was on site in a beautiful courtyard! Everything was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing! The service was wonderful! The managers had our best interest at heart the hole time making sure everything was perfect for us! Stephanie Hostettler went above and beyond for us during all of our planning. She made everything so easy for us! Everything went so smoothly on our wedding day thanks so much to all the managers and staff! We highly recommend Michaels banquet facility over and over again for any event you are planning! They are absolutely wonderful!

I can not say enough good things about our experience with Michael's Banquet and Cheri specifically. We chose a unique location that needed to have everything and anything brought in from outside vendors. Cheri coordinated EVERYTHING for us and literally, we just showed up and enjoyed our wedding day which was just as we envisioned it. She is professional, thorough, prompt and organized. More than that, Cheri would really listen to what we wanted and then make it happen exactly how we had asked. Something that we found not many wedding businesses do!

We did a stations wedding and the guests ravved about the food. Michael's was recommended to us by a friend who had their wedding at the hall and I will be recommending them to anyone planning a wedding.

Michael's absolutely was amazing to work with when we were planning our reception. The staff there especially Cheri and Stephanie are absolutely wonderful to work with. The both of them were very professional, responsive, and flexible throughout every step of our planning process. We couldn't have asked for a better reception venue to host our wedding reception! :) Their flexibility in working with us during our wedding reception made our evening go more smoothly and without interruption which made it easier for us to enjoy the evening.

Our guests raved about how good the food was that was served at our wedding reception, many of them saying that it was some of the best food that they had eaten at a wedding reception. The food served was fresh, hot, and delicious. The service was absolutely AMAZING and the staff was attentive to both me and my husband along with all of our guests. There were a few hiccups along the way with our reception, but the issues were quickly resolved.

Thank you Michael's for making our reception absolutely awesome and an enjoyable time for us along with our guests! We would absolutely recommend Michael's to any couple looking for a low-key and easy going location to host their reception. The value for the service, quality, and food is absolutely phenomenal! =)

I cannot say enough good things about Michael's and the service they provided for our wedding reception! From the initial meeting, we knew they were the perfect venue- Cheri and Stephanie bent over backwards to help us make our movie themed reception a reality. They were very quick in responding to emails and helping us get everything planned. I never once felt stressed about the venue as they were so organized throughout the process. The ballroom looked GORGEOUS when we arrived and had so many personal touches that were surprises to us. For instance, Cheri found an old film canister and use it in the decorations, which went perfectly with our theme. The food was DELICIOUS, and the bartenders were personable, and there was never a long line to get a drink. They kept an eye on the bride and groom to make sure our drinks were never empty, too. The staff was wonderful with keeping everything on time and letting us know where we needed to be for certain things (it gets crazy when you're trying to greet 215 guests). The night went so well, I didn't want to leave at the end! We considered lots on venues when planning the wedding, but are so happy we went with Michael's!

Very attentive staff, friendly and easy to work with. Food prepared there was excellent. Our guests could not stop raving about the food..it was just spectacular. I could not have chosen a better place for our wedding...so very happy with Michael's! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THERE!!

We absolutely enjoyed having our wedding reception at Michael's Banquet! Everyone was so wonderful! Food was great and price was very reasonable! I would definitely book another function at Michael's :0)

Stephanie and Cheri put me to ease when planning my wedding. They were always professional and answered any questions that I had big or small in a prompt manner. My wedding day went really smoothly and flew by thanks to them! The food was also great. I can't tell you how many compliments I received on it!!! I would definitely recommend Michael's to a friend looking for a wedding venue!

Michael's Banquet Facility made my wedding extra-special. Everything from the beginning planning, all the way up to my wedding day. Michael's staff was exceptional, courteous, and professional. My Maid of Honor even needed a gluten-free diet and they made her a special plate of food since I had the buffet - which by the way, everything melted in your mouth like butter. I would recommend that they get checked out as a first choice not a last choice for your wedding day.

I would highly recommend Michaels. They were a pleasure to work with. They helped in any way possibly. The food was awesome and they had a VERY attentive staff. So happy our wedding reception was here!!

What a beautiful and special day! The staff was SOO accommodating and the food was delicious. Planning the event was a breeze and done to my exact requests. This was my THIRD event here and I will be back in the future!!!

I had both my ceremony and reception at Michael’s in July 2012. In the months, weeks and days leading up to the event, Michael’s helped me feel calm and confident that my wedding would be just as I had envisioned. The courtyard space worked excellently for the ceremony (and for photographs). I liked that Michael’s had practical choices for dinner (each of my guests had both steak and chicken) and wonderful extras (like cookies and hors d'oeuvres with a personalized touch). The food was great and the presentation was fabulous. At the reception, I was completely relaxed and could focus being with family and friends; everything was taken care of and went so smoothly! I had positive experiences all the staff I was in contact with (managers, servers, bartender, etc.). Overall, my hubby and I were extremely satisfied with Michael’s!

Our anniversary party was held at Michael's Banquet Hall. Stephanie Hostletter was the event planner. She provided outstanding service in her attention to all details small and large. She was able to give us exactly what we wanted and also at a great price. There was never anything she couldn't provide for us. Her dedication to her profession is outstanding. The entire staff made our party successful. We would recommend them to anyone wanting a great party provided by an exceptional staff.

I have and will continue to recommend Michael's Banquest Facility to ANYONE and EVERYONE!! I have had my wedding shower, wedding, sisters baby shower, sisters surprise bday party, and just recently my own baby shower there. The management staff is FABULOUS!!! The food is delicious and .. hint hint.. their coffee is to die for!!!!

Joey and I had a GREAT TIME!!!! We enjoyed EVERYTHING!!!! Stephanie was amazing and made our dream wedding come true..... We planned everything 1200 miles away and it was nothing but perfect from the beginning to the end..... we recommend them 100% for any event!!!!!

Stephanie could not have been more professional, helpful, and courteous. Her patience in helping this mom of an out of state bride and groom went far and above the norm. She talked with myself and my daughter regularly, planned out the timeline of events, assisted and set up the rehearsal breakfast, and the wedding reception. If you are planning an event of any magnitude, please consider Michael's Banquet Facility as a first class choice. Joe (owner) also was on hand throughout to assist in the reception and stayed afterward to help this tired mom pack up all the gifts and table decorations. We had a Day After Breakfast next door at Joe's Diner also owned by Michael's family and they greeted us yet again with kindness and warm wishes for the new bride and groom. What a lovely family to work with and again Stephanie is the one to call for any event needs. She is A++ in our family.

My husband and I are so happy we chose Michael's for our wedding. There are options for many different budgets, and they made our small, low budget wedding absolutely spectacular! We are receiving non-stop compliments from our guests on how amazing it was. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. They made everything easier and less stressful than I had expected it to be.
We did have two small issues. One was that during the toasts, we realized our toasting glasses were empty. There was water poured so the head table used that for the toasts. We mentioned it to the staff after the toasts and they immediately brought out the champagne for us. It was a little disappointing but not enough to cause any real grief.
Also, I specified that I require a gluten free diet and was told the server will know which food options were gluten free. However, when we were in the buffet line, the server was not aware of any gluten free options and we had to stop the line while he found out. This was resolved rather quickly and I have to say, I was very excited that I was able to have gravy on my mashed potatoes! (Food was delicious!)
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience at Michael's and know that we made the right choice choosing them for our special day. It really was amazing!

Managers all worked well with my schedule to get plans together. On event date they went above and beyond expectations the staff was all friendly and they we're on top of everything

This was a great venue. We did the ultimate package with sit down dinner. food was wonderful and perfectly cooked. the extra touches they provide free kept decor and flower costs affordable. The staff are very accommodating. Thank you Cheri and all your staff for making this a wonderful day.

My husband and I wanted a reception site that they would handle it all and we could just enjoy the day,relax and have fun. We truly got that with Michael's. The cost was very competative to other facilities. To this day... just over a year later, our guests still are telling us how great the food was, and how smoothly everything went. They really helped to make our wedding day truly special.

Perfect Wedding Reception

Michaels is a perfect, more affordable option for a reception venue. The food was good and the space is beautiful. The only downside were the additional fees they added for Covid after we had already signed our contract.

On mother's Day yesterday, i took my Lady and her 2 children to brunch and the food was cold including the coffee, the breakfast was worst than Apollo restaurant, the fruit was ok and the only thing worth eating was the salad. I was very disappointed and the children are 14, and 17 and they said they will never come to this restaurant, so i was going to speak to management about this but my Lady thought i would be too loud so we all left disappointed

Terrible experience

I have been beyond frustrated with Michael's, initially I was impressed by then business. However, I was married in October 2020, we had to reschedule our reception at Michael's for 2021 (because they refused to give money back), we were okay and understanding at that time. However, we rescheduled for May of 2021, we emailed Michael's in November to cancel seeing that the new day would not be happen again. Cheri the manager, took at least 1 to 2 weeks to respond to emails or voicemail. I finally received an email that told me I had to wait for the general manager to create a Cancellation Agreement to receive a partial refund. This was December 3rd, its into the new year and I have still not heard anything after reaching out twice about this. I feel they have been pushing us around and have not worked with us in anyway and I am so angry with this process.
