Michael's Catering & Banquets is a newly remodeled indoor and outdoor Wedding Venue in Hamburg, New York. Centrally located within Erie County, Michael’s is just two minutes off NY State Thruway Exit 57, and within five minutes from the Skyway, Rte 20A, Rte 219, and Rte 16. Located in the town of Hamburg on Southwestern Blvd. (Rte 20)
You can host both your Wedding Ceremony and Reception in our elegant and sophisticated spaces intentionally designed to compliment contemporary themes and colors. There are no hidden fees or room rentals, and no gratuities are expected or collected. We welcome you to invite your friends, family, and co-workers to dine and celebrate with us! Adding the Michael's name to your invitations is a sure way to impress everyone on your list; from your boss to your fussy aunt, your best friends to your childhood babysitter.
Michael’s Catering & Banquets offers three options for reception locations, including The Ruby Room, great for intimate dinners of 90 or fewer people, the Emerald Room for slightly larger parties of up to 150, and the Diamond room, perfect for larger receptions of 200 loved ones. Couples can also combine rooms to accommodate up to 500 guests for a sit-down meal.
Our regular office hours are 10am until 5pm Monday through Friday. You can also request an appointment before 10am, after 5pm or even on the weekends. We are very flexible on our appointments, and we can even set up a Zoom meeting for those we are not local or who wish to start off in a socially distant manner.

That's all I heard from our guests - "best wedding ever"! From the menu to the decor, everything was perfect! They were so flexible with everything and I even got to have my 2 dogs in the ceremony which NOBODY else would allow even with a deposit. I never once felt pressured or anxious during the planning process or even on the big day. Cheri and Jessica are amazing! They made sure I could safely eat everything they prepared due to my allergies and medical issues - they were so careful and it paid off! Thank you guys so much for everything, it really was everything I dreamed it would be and at such a reasonable price!!!

A wonderful venue!
When my fiancé and I got engaged, we knew that we were going to have a very large wedding (250+) and that we wanted a venue in the Southtowns.
Michael’s checked off every box right from the get go. When we toured Michael’s they were repainting their rooms and had recently had new carpeting put in. The manager, Nathan answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable with having our reception there!
We met with Renee a few months before our wedding to pick out our menu- we went with the dual plate option, the filet and the chicken bruschetta.
The day of our reception, everything was absolutely perfect. Our guests are still raving about the food (the grilled cheese shooters were a hit during cocktail hour) and everyone loved dinner. My husband and I could not have been happier with the service we got and would absolutely recommend Michael’s to anyone!!

We were planning our wedding throughout the pandemic, and even had to postpone twice - it was no problem at all. Throughout the whole pandemic, Cheri and Joe were very responsive and accommodating to this situation. They were very flexible when it came to changing dates and they made sure to keep us updated with all of the NYS Covid guidelines. Our ceremony and reception went perfectly as planned. The room looked beautiful and was set up just how we envisioned. We had a buffet, and almost two weeks later - people are still raving about the food! I would highly recommend working with Michael's for any event. Thank you Cheri and Joe for a beautiful day!

Look No Further!
I cannot say enough about how great our experience with Michael's was. 2020 was a challenging year to plan a wedding to say the least, especially since we had to change our date from June 2020 to September 2020. Cheri truly helped make our wedding planning process smoother and was a great support for us. She was flexible and responded to my many, many questions in a timely and professional manner. Even though we weren't allowed to have any dancing, she helped us think outside the box to still plan such a fun reception that we received so many compliments on from our guests and that we will remember forever! The space looked beautiful and the food was great. Michael's cannot be beat as far as affordability. Overall, great quality for a great price and great service!

Michael's hosted our dinner rehearsal and we could not be more happy with the selection of this vendor. The staff was amazing with the entire process of getting everything set for our rehearsal dinner. The banquet room and food service was prepared specifically for the time we reserved. The food was hot, delicious, and there was plenty to go around. The assortment of drinks was also great as it tailored to the many different varieties our guests personally enjoy. Michael's was flexible as well since we had to travel a bit of distance from our rehearsal ceremony. Overall thank you for making our rehearsal dinner beautiful and relaxing for our two families coming together.

My husband and I used Michael's as the location for our wedding reception back in mid-September 2017. We actually had a lunch reception after our morning church service instead of a traditional dinner reception, and it was so lovely! We had a breakfast buffet that included scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes and the most delicious french toast bake, along with some cheese, crackers, fruits and additional lunch items. We also had Michael's provide an ice cream bar with all the fixings. It was fabulous! The staff members at the event were so friendly to us and our guests, and both of the managers we worked with leading up to the reception, Cheri and Stephanie, were wonderful! Extremely professional and so helpful during the planning process. I would 100% recommend Michael's to anyone looking for a place to host their wedding reception!

I would highly recommend this venue. Stephanie was great to work with and very accommodating. She replied to my emails quickly. After looking at a bunch of other venues we decided on this venue due to the amount of things included in the price. Our guests raved about the quality of the food.

We recently got married on October 7 of this year at Michael's Catering and Banquets, it was an amazing night at this beautiful hall. To plan a wedding can be very stressful, let alone planning it from another country (Canada) but from the beginning when I got into contact with Stephanie to the very night of the wedding, everything went perfect, they reply as soon as possible to your email/call.. I have nothing but good stuff to say about these ladies and this hall, everything was perfect, and highly recommend Michael's for a wedding/shower/meeting etc .. Thank You Stephanie & Jessica for making our dream wedding come true !

Michael's was a perfect place for our wedding! The staff was extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process. All our guests, and my husband and I thought the food was fantastic at our sit down dinner, the staff even came around asking for seconds to make sure all guests and bridal party were satisfied. The remodeling of the venue looks great and there was plenty of space for my 225+ guests and a dance floor. I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion!

The food, the food, the food is AWESOME! If you want great food and A LOT OF IT this is the place! If you leave hungry it's totally your fault. The staff here is fantastic and very friendly.
