Michaeleen came highly recommended by our friend/photographer. After looking at her incredible photos on Instagram and connecting with her, I was so excited she was available and willing to do my makeup for my wedding reception. I had a makeup trial with Michaeleen and then she traveled to our AirBNB in the White Mountains for our wedding reception. I felt the most beautiful version I have ever felt of myself that day. Not only did Michaeleen do an incredible job but she was also so enjoyable to be around which is important with a small reception, getting ready with just your immediate family. I would highly recommend her to anyone! -

Highly recommend Michaeleen! She was so wonderful to work with for my wedding day! She made me feel so beautiful but natural. My bridesmaid even said it was the prettiest she's ever felt! Michaeleen was so great to work with. We moved up our wedding and she was so understanding and accommodating. She is also so fun to hangout with so having her in your bridal suite getting ready is a blast. She really has perfected the natural makeup look but still looking done up! "How can I feel beautiful for my wedding, but also feel and look like myself?" This was the question in the forefront of my mind while looking into makeup vendors for the "big day". I wanted to feel beautifully and naturally me! (And I also wanted my husband to be able to recognize me and not be distracted by my color or eyes being drastically changed). After spending way too many hours on the internet, I finally found Michaeleen and instantly knew she was my perfect fit. Not only did I love the look of her work, I loved how previous brides emphasized how she had a way of elevating people's natural beauty without it feeling like she was changing them. She ABSOLUTELY came through and did the exact same thing I was hoping for for both me and my bridal party. She simply listened to us and worked her magic. I have had my makeup professionally done over the years but have never felt more beautiful AND more 'me' as this day. It also lasted the entire day, despite profusely crying and sweating. I'm so glad Michaeleen was there for us to make me feel as beautiful as the whole day was.
I also have to add that Michaeleen was one of the most professional and efficient vendors we worked with. She was responsive, detailed, and was so easy to communicate with. Day of, she was also so calming, sweet and got us in the best feels for the rest of the day, which was also meaningful and important for me. I highly recommend Michaeleen and hope I can work with her again in the future. -

The best makeup artist for your wedding!
Michaeleen is such a talented makeup artist and did such an outstanding job on my wedding makeup as well as for my bridal party. Everyone was so happy with their makeup and looked absolutely beautiful. Michaeleen is also incredibly kindhearted and a calm presence to have around. My husband and I got facials and waxing done by her a few days before our wedding which really helped us to be glowing on the day! The derma-planing before helped my makeup go on very smoothly. I am so glad that I had her part of my day. I was able to relax and not have to worry about anything related to makeup with her there. -

When searching for a make up artist for my wedding, I had a distinct vision and criteria - clean and natural. As someone who does not wear a lot of make up on a day to day basis, it was important to me that I felt like myself on my wedding day. Michaeleen provided exactly that. She respected my opinions, heard and applied my feedback in my trial, and was just an overall joy to be around. Communication was frequent and prompt. I had email replies from Michaeleen within minutes - consistently.
On my wedding day, Michaeleen was like Wonder Woman. She arrived on time with friendly energy and positivity. With a total of 10 people in my party to complete make up for, she perfected each look while also keeping an efficient timeline - all on her own! Most importantly, I felt beautiful and comfortable in my own skin.

In our consultation, she gave me advice on how to properly care for my skin before the big day. Michaeleen is such a sweet soul! At my makeup trial and day of my wedding she had a calming energy and made everyone look stunning. I chose Michaeleen a year ago, for my wedding this year on September 2nd! I’m not one to wear makeup everyday, but wanted some glam for my special day. I wanted natural looking & she nailed it! Michaeleen was the absolute BEST decision I could have made for my wedding makeup artist. Michaeleen is such a kind person, and her presence was so calm and positive during our getting ready process. On top of that, her makeup made me feel absolutely gorgeous. I felt like I still looked like myself - but the very best version. Our wedding day was super rainy and very humid, and I was sweating heavily on the dance floor. However, my makeup still looked incredible all the way to the end of the after party. -

Where do I begin! Michaeleen is truly the best of the best. I recently got married and Michaeleen was there to do my makeup, along with the others in my bridal party and WOW! Our makeup looked so natural while enhancing our features and made everyone feel beautiful for the day. The best part is that through all the tears, laughing, rain, and dancing, we still looked amazing with the makeup fully intact at the end of the night. Although the makeup application is a huge piece, Michaeleen's character can't go unnoticed. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, who truly cares about each of her clients and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is feeling like their best self. She will answer any question you have, communicates promptly, gives great advice on how to prepare leading up to the big day, keeps you calm the day of, listens to your ideas, and everything in between. I truly can't say enough about her and her business. 10/10 recommend and would give 1000 stars if I could!! If any bride out there is looking for someone to do makeup - Michaeleen is worth it, I PROMISE!!! -

FIVE STARS!!!!! I chose Michaeleen to do makeup for myself and wedding party for my July 2023 wedding. If I could give Michaeleen more than 5 stars, I would without a doubt or hesitation. To begin, I am not one to wear a lot of makeup or really any makeup at all – so I was a little uncertain about what to expect or nervous about what I would look like with my makeup done. But I was not only pleasantly surprised but amazed by the beautiful job that Michaeleen did to make me look natural, not overdone, and really elevated my look for my wedding. Besides myself, she also did incredible work on my entire bridal party, the mother of the groom, and my mother – all looked stunning, polished, and again not overdone.
She was timely, had a warm and calming presence, and worked efficiently – all of which are especially important on your wedding day. Above all, Michaeleen was so down to earth nice, cheery, and very easy to get along with. She felt like a friend in the wedding suite with us, laughing and having a good time but remained focused and committed to fulfilling everyone’s requests and visions for their wedding day look/makeup style.
I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone and anyone! If I were to do it all over again, I would choose Michaeleen, hands down the BEST! -

Hiring Michaeleen was one of the best choices I made when picking vendors for my wedding. I had the hardest time finding a makeup artist that wasn't full coverage and full glam. My only instruction was that I wanted "my face but better" and she was absolutely perfect. Even without a trial, Michaleen was spot on, letting my freckles and natural features shine while still making me feel beautiful for the special day. My makeup looked amazing through hours of celebrating and dancing. -

Let me start off by saying, I have never felt more beautiful than my wedding day. Going into planning, I wanted to look like myself but feel and look a little glamorous. Michaeleen completely delivered that and so much more. I met with Michaeleen a couple days before for a very relaxing facial that made my skin glow. During my wedding, she did the makeup of 12 ladies! Each bridesmaid and mother felt beautiful! Michaeleen was a DREAM to work with. She was so kind, thoughtful, and professional. Every email and question that I sent to her was answered promptly. In addition to my bridal makeup plus my bridesmaids, Michaeleen also did my lash extensions a couple days before my wedding and they came out PERFECT! I was a little apprehensive because I’ve never had lash extensions, but she made them look so natural and blended, with a little oomph, which is exactly what I was going for. I cannot recommend Michaeleen enough. Her gentle, laid-back nature took a weight off my shoulders for my big day. 1000 out of 1000 recommend Michaeleen for all of your skin and makeup needs! -

Michaeleen is one of the most talented and real makeup artists I know. As a photographer, I've worked with Michaeleen a handful of times and each time, I am blown away by her art. So much so that I hired her for my own wedding. Sometimes after you get your makeup done, you look at yourself and feel like a clown. Actually... that's most of the time! But with Michaeleen, I felt just a more put together and beautiful version of myself. And that is personally everything I wanted in my makeup for my day.
But she does that with my clients too. Each of them have felt so beautiful in their skin, and the pictures show it too. That's one of the most important aspects of the day is that you feel your best, most confident, and happiest on the best day of your life. And Michaeleen does that for you. She will also be a positive addition to your day, because she LOVES what she does. It shows the moment she arrives. You'll get nothing but positive energy from her!

Michaeleen did make-up for me and 5 members of my bridal party. We were all extremely happy with how great of a job she did. The make-up looked very natural, which was exactly what I wanted. Michaeleen worked makeup magic for me and my bridal party! She made me (the bride), my mom, aunt, and bridesmaids look beautiful! She has the experience and know-how to work with different skin types, young and old and make us all look our best.
As everyone knows weddings are long days and Michaeleen's makeup lasted from morning until late in the night on all of us. One of my bridesmaids who works in a professional theater said that whatever brand or technique Michaeleen used to apply our makeup was the best she'd ever experienced. No touch-ups were needed.
She was professional and personable to work with throughout the process from interviewing and trial to the big day. I would definitely hire her again! -

Michaeleen was amazing! She went above and beyond to make my wedding weekend special. I got my lashes done with her and they lasted all the way through my honeymoon. She also did my makeup for my wedding. She listened to what I wanted for a look and it came out great. My makeup stayed on the entire night. She also was a huge help that weekend and helped me figure out some of my ceremony details in Wolfeboro NH. She’s so chill and nice too, I really enjoyed working with Michaeleen! -

I absolutely loved working with Michaeleen and would recommend her again and again. I'm very particular about what I put on my face and wanted a naturally beautiful look without looking like I had a face full of makeup on. Michaeleen nailed it.
Michaeleen gave me a glowing complexion and made me (and my bridal party) feel absolutely gorgeous, not only for the ceremony, but throughout the night. We didn't even need to touch up our makeup - it lasted through hours on the dance floor!

Michaeleen was AMAZING and I cannot say enough good things about my wedding experience. I am not someone who wears much makeup, but Michaeleen made me feel totally comfortable and did a great natural look which was exactly what I wanted. She frequently let me check in the mirror and made adjustments throughout the process.
She did makeup for two moms, one grandmother, and two bridesmaids, and everyone was so happy with their look.
Michaeleen also did eyelash extensions for me and my mom the day before which looked amazing and allowed me to wear less eye makeup on the day of.
She is such a friendly, kind and talented person and I highly recommend her for your wedding needs!!! Price was great and Michaeleen was super responsive over text and email, and flexible about arrival time and scheduling a trial! -

Michaeleen is amazing. Not only is she skilled as an esthetician (she did an incredible job with my partner's makeup on our wedding day), she is a seasoned veteran of the wedding world and exactly the kind of person you want by your side when the unexpected arises...which it inevitably does! She was a rock for me and my partner on our wedding day-- whether it was helping her "get her glow on" or jumping in to take care of our dogs when they decided to start vomiting at City Hall. Always ten steps ahead of us, there is no question that she made our day more smooth, more enjoyable, and more special. -

We had a micro wedding planned only 6 weeks prior and from the VERY beginning Michaeleen was so kind, responsive and helpful to find other vendors. I am very particular about makeup and could not have been happier with the result!! She knew exactly what I wanted and did a very natural look which held all night. Michaeleen is truly the best at making me feel my best. I got lash extensions, wax treatment and dermaplanling facial the day before my wedding and I was blown away by the impact of these services. My skin has never felt more smooth. And my lashes looked flawless with volumizing length and texture, all while still feeling natural. Michaleen took the time to consult with me in far advance to discuss the "look" I wanted by sending me various inspo photos and explaining the elements of mega-volume, volume and hybrid styles. I was absolutely thrilled with the results and the amount of dedication she put forth to turn my vision into a reality.
Michaeleen ALSO came to the rescue and helped our bridal party with make up on the day of our wedding. She did an amazing job of accommodating everyone's different styles with a smile. Michaleen is simply the BEST at making people feel so comfortable with her warm personality and energetic, FUN presence. Everyone's makeup looked absolutely flawless and lasted the WHOLE night.
I am so grateful for all that Michaeleen did for us. I will never be able to thank her enough and I cannot WAIT to use her again. -

Above and Beyond!
Michaeleen did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner because there is no one I trust more than her. My rehearsal dinner was by the beach in Malibu, California so I really wanted to avoid a heavy overdone pageant look and opted for a natural look. As always, she executed perfectly and gave me the quintessential 'California glow' that I was hoping for. I didn't need her to make any changes, but if I did, I would have felt totally comfortable asking her to re-do something (she's super laid back and easy to talk to). I was so incredibly anxious leading up to my wedding but Michaeleen put all of my nerves at ease with her comforting, uplifting, quirky and compassionate demeanor. I blink excessively whenever my mascara is applied but she knew exactly how to fix that! Michaeleen also did my bridesmaids' makeup on the wedding day and everyone looked stunning and flawless! She truly has a gift of connecting with people and it is shown through her work and relationships. She's not just an esthetician, she's goes above and beyond her call of duty and is a BOSS! I wasn’t going to have my makeup done for my wedding as I am a minimalist normally but I’m so grateful that I found Michaeleen. She was able to work with my schedule for pre-wedding consult, facial, eyelash extensions, and waxing. She made me feel beautiful while still looking like me and made my mom, matron of honor & future sister-in-law look beautiful too. After packing up she stopped and “made up” my matron of honor’s daughter who was getting her hair done. Through the laughter and joyful tears I still looked flawless thanks to Michaeleen! -
