One of the most important things for us on our wedding day was having not only an amazing photographer, one who not only took good photos, but had a vision for our gallery & images, a vision that would make our wedding photos not only gorgeous but awe-inspiring. I spent the most time of any aspect of wedding planning searching out the best photographer we could find since pictures are the number one way to remember the day. I couldn't help but notice so many wedding photographers have the same style, but we stopped in our tracks when we saw Michael Escobar’s work. Every photograph feels like a story. I was shocked to find his prices incredibly reasonable and even more shocked that he was available on our date. Michael went above and beyond at every single turn. He even brought along fellow photographer extraordinaire, Michelle Brinn. They work together like magic and have similar styles that compliment each other well. Michael was professional while also feeling like an old friend upon first meeting in person. I had countless wedding guests flag me down to say that my photographer was a “genius” and “so funny.” He truly made the day a breeze, even in the June heat in Wilmington. When I say he has a vision, I mean it. Trust it. He had us holding leaves near our faces, doing vogue like poses. They turned out WONDERFULLY. We truly couldn’t have hired a better human or photographer. He’s someone I would recommend to anyone having any event or portrait session. Your photographs will stand out from the rest and capture memories in a way that makes you relive your wedding day to a T. We certainly hope to work with him again. I’m telling you, if you're considering Escobar Studios, look no further, as you’ve found the man for the job. -

Will never use another photographer ever
The Vibrant is the only choice I will ever make for any professional photography needs!! Met him while he was shooting for my sister’s wedding and we hit it off right away! Dude is an awesome guy and made me realize that a massive part of what makes a good photographer is their personality and ability to make you relaxed and feel comfortable. That is not to say that his photography itself isn’t any good because hot dang I’ve never been more blown away by photos before! We then asked if he could do engagement photos for myself and my wife. First photo shoot either of us had ever done and he made it such a fun experience and we’ll treasure the photos forever!!
We set our date for the wedding and it was pretty short notice but he still managed to make it work for us and we love going back and looking at the photos.
I cannot highly recommend Michael enough for the fantastic work he does, his great communication, and just being an awesome dude that’s a blast to hang around! -

The Vibrant and Michael was absolutely the #1 best investment we made for our entire wedding! We are absolutely in love the every single picture he captured, but more importantly, he solidified such incredible memories throughout our special day. We are so grateful for the presence and energy he brought to our big day, and we have had so many of our guests comment on how incredible he was. He made my husband and I feel so at ease while capturing moments so creatively. I felt like he made me look like myself and yet a more beautiful version with his eye for angles and color. What a blessing he has been throughout the whole wedding planning process and start to our married life! Minus our marriage, he was the best part of our entire wedding! -

Michael is an excellent photographer who captures not only the moment but the feeling in the moment in his photos. He is very talented and has such a great eye for photography. I highly recommend and would choose him over and over thousands times. He is worth every penny. -

The best photographer and experience ever!
Michael is truly one of the most genuine and incredible people. And his photography, WOW. It is amazing!! He did an amazing job capturing the love my husband and I have for one another on our wedding day! I was left speechless looking at our wedding photos that he took. Not only does he care so much about his work, but also his clients. I cannot recommend him enough, and I cannot give him enough praise and thanks. He is so very talented! My husband and I loved sharing our special day with him!! -

Michael Escobar is the best. That is it. He can do everything. Whether you want light and airy photos or super crazy he can do it all. My goal for my wedding was to be unique. And that term incompasses Michael Escobar. His creativity and vision are one of a kind. On top of all that he is the most down to earth person, you will ever meet. I was so comfortable with him and he knows how to get the real smile out of you. Love this man so much and so thankful to have him capture our special day. -

We originally booked Michael for an engagement shoot and soon thereafter realized we had to have him at our wedding. "Exuberant" doesn't even begin to describe Michael. His energy is unmatched, and it's *genuine*! That quality was crucial to us when looking for a wedding photographer, as we didn't want someone who isn't as excited as you are about your special day. He is a fan-freaking-tastic hype man, and all my family could talk about after the wedding was his enthusiasm and the quality of his work! There's also something to be said about the ability to make someone feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera – Michael did a great job of offering light suggestions for poses rather than uncomfortably prodding us into position. Michael also doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously – in a good way! His ability to go with the flow really helped calm our nerves, which was so unbelievably appreciated. It is also very apparent that he is always willing to try new things and explore new places with you – he traveled all the way to Hawaii for our big day! I’ll never forget rocking out to the special playlist that he set up for us to jam to in the car en route to the reception venue, a small but very appreciated gesture. As icing on the cake, we received a slideshow of thoughtfully curated images from our wedding put to music and it truly showed how Michael puts his heart into his work - he is one of a kind and a true creative treasure! -

It has been months since our wedding, and my wife and I just saw the whole family again for the first time since the big day. We were expecting the typical "how's married life?" generic questions, but all anyone wanted to ask us about was our photographer and the breath taking photos he took. Michael didn't just give us perfect photos that captured our day in such a creative way, he truly captured the experience. He got establishing shots, portraits, and candid moments that told the story of our wedding day, while coming prepared with a schedule and gear for any situation to capture spontaneous moments. On top of being very professional and flexible, he stood in the rain to get shots we couldn't of imagined would be possible and even offered to do re-shoots if we needed. I can't recommend him enough for your big day! -

Lc Sent on 10/18/2017my review is a little biased - i've known escobar for almost 20 years. i think we booked him less than a week after getting engaged because i already knew he would do a great job. seeing him work in a professional capacity, however, has made me so so glad that we chose him. my husband's older sisters all had kind of...weird photographers at their weddings, so getting someone personable was our #1 priority. my family after the wedding kept telling me how much they liked the photographers!
escobar makes you feel relaxed behind a camera and actually made me feel photogenic (not an easy task)! he had an assistant and backup photographer for our wedding, so it was verrry well-documented! he and his lovely wife did our engagement pictures, which i've attached.
