As a wedding professionals for decades we recognize the passion Michael has for capturing the emotions each couple experience.

Recently Michael unexpectedly found himself with the request of capturing an engagement happening right in front of him. The groom, in from out of town, unsure of his plans until minutes before he asked the big question, had not planned photography. As their only friend present, I was overjoyed with gratitude when I approached Michael for his help. Camera in hand, having just completed a session with another delightful couple, agreed to take five minutes to capture the scene for our friends. His immediate response was the true testament of his passion to capture the emotion of a moment. Knowing this, I can assure you this quality is of highest importance when choosing a wedding and event photographer. Michael is an absolute delight!

Amazing Vendor

Mike and his assistant, Liz, were amazing to work with! We found Mike through our venue's recommendations and are so happy he was on the list.

We figured we would use someone who has shot at our venue and in the area before. Originally, we were just hiring him for our wedding; however, about two months before, we decided to do an engagement shoot with him so we could meet him in person and see how we all worked together. It was a great fit! My fiancé and I were able to work out some of the awkward feelings before the big day as Mike made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera.

Fast forward to our wedding, mid-November in Portsmouth, NH. He got us our preview photos in less than 48 hours and there were hundreds of photos to look it. The rest of our photos took about 7 weeks, and I cannot stop looking at them and love reliving the day.

Mike is professional and fun to work with. He really knows how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera. He captured some amazing shots of not just us, but our families, wedding party, and so much more! I would recommend Mike and his team over and over again!

Smiling and Having Fun

Working with Mike was a joy! He was professional, fun and knew his stuff. He made my husband and I feel completely at ease on our wedding day - it made pictures more fun and the time flew by! His assistant, Liz, was also great! They are a great choice when considering a wedding photographer!

Simply the best!

Where do I even start - from the first minute we spoke to Michael on the phone we knew he would be the one to help us capture all of our special memories on our big day. He did that and more, he helped talk us through wedding details, what to expect and what to prepare for.

Michael came down to Boston to do an amazing and jaw dropping engagement photoshoot, then jump forward to the preparation - Michael spent the time to chat with us and make us feel more than comfortable during such a stressful time.

Day of, now that's where we saw the best of Michael (And his assistant!). They took command of the groups, making sure everyone was everywhere they needed to be (our groups were a little scatterbrained). Michael was so professional and got all of our photos done BEFORE THE CEREMONY. Which means we got to enjoy a photo-less reception and actually be at our cocktail hour.

Michael Cirelli is the best photographer in the NH area, we recommend him to anyone who is looking to have A+ level service and photos at their wedding.

Excellent Photographer & Fun to Work With!

Mike is a truly amazing photographer! 2020 has been such a challenging year, but he made our wedding day a dream come true! We had so much from from the engagement session all the way through the wedding reception working with him. Not only is he incredibly organized and talented, but we could tell how important it was for him to get to know us as a couple to capture our day! My husband and I highly value a sense of humor and having fun, and he was right there with us! Amazing photographer

Mike is incredible - he did our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and August 2020 wedding. To say we love him and his work would be an understatement. Mike went above and beyond on our engagement shoot - he hiked Mt. Major with all his gear and took the most stunning pictures at the summit. While wedding planning amidst the pandemic Mike was compassionate, upbeat, responsive, and easy to work with.

Our family and friends also fell in love with him and his assistant Lizzy. They made our wedding day so easy. They are true professionals and clearly love what they do. The pictures are AMAZING and there are so many beautiful shots. Within 3 days of our wedding he had 50 photos to us as a sneak peak! I cannot recommend Mike enough!

Excellent and experienced photographer! 5+ stars.

Michael and Zack were awesome! They got all the shots we wanted and plus some. We had a first look at our house with all our animals and then went to the ceremony site. Michael and Zack were more than happy to shoot at both locations. All of the photos were beautiful!!! I ended up getting over 1,000 photos back and they were all fantastic. Michael and Zack were both friendly and personable. They made my husband and I feel comfortable being the center of attention, which neither of us like. Highly recommended, 5+ stars!

Michael Cirelli Photography was amazing to work with from start to finish. Mike is so professional, fun, organized, and creative! He photographed our wedding this September in Meredith at a very unique venue - The Oliver Lodge. This venue had lake cabins, boats, an island cottage - he got it all on camera and was ultra creative at just the right times. He made it easy and captured every moment and unique aspect of our special day! He and his assistant came in with a plan, we’re so flexible and fun, they made us feel so comfortable, they were everywhere and did not miss a thing. Finding a photographer we liked and trusted was definitely important to my husband and I. Pictures are the one thing you are likely to look at again and again and you want them to capture the celebration in a poignant and memorable way. We actually ‘interviewed’ a few options before deciding to go with Mike. Mike had been recommended to us by a friend who had used Mike at his own wedding, and from our first conversation with him, it just clicked! He took our engagement photos in August 2017 and then shot our 2 night wedding celebration in mid-June 2018. Not only is Mike super talented (as well as his amazing assistant Zack!), but he is incredibly gracious, kind and easy to work with. By the end of our wedding weekend, we felt like he was part of the family! He does a great job of capturing candid moments and also corralling the troops when formal shots need to be taken. He was always patient and great at directing his shots. He was also able to easily go with the flow when our timeline was a bit delayed. We received a preview of his work a couple days after the wedding and we are truly blown away by the photos. Michael was the wedding photographer for our daughters wedding, this October, in Meredith NH. The “samples” we have seen thus far are stunning, creative; capturing the moments to enjoy forever!!
Michael and associate arrived as arranged and remained for more than eight hours; probably ten; capturing every important moment that goes into months of planning! Michael knows the areas of NH well and took countless gorgeous outdoor photos of the “big” lake, Church Landing and its stunning grounds.

My husband and I could not be any more happy with how our photos came out from our wedding day! Mike did an absolutely wonderful job! We did not have a videographer, so we trusted Mike to capture all of our special moments. He did a very professional job and was very easy going and flexible of to what photos I wanted. (He also did our engagement photos and from then, I knew he would be the best for our wedding!) I also had many guests comment on how attenative he was to every single moment. Mike was our photography teacher in high school, and we decided to contact him about our wedding after seeing his professional work through his page on Facebook. He could not have been more professional, more fun, or more amazing to work with! We also did our engagement photos with him, and received a discount since we had booked our wedding with him at the same time. He was very reasonably priced, and we got a lot more from him than we would've from any other photographer. He gave us all of the photos from the engagement session and we will receive all the photos from the wedding with the ability to do whatever we want from them. There's no restrictions or paying per photo like some photographers do. We were really nervous to have all of the attention on us and get our photo taken, but Mike made us feel really comfortable and made it fun and relaxing. We would 100% recommend Mike to everyone looking for amazing photos from an amazing photographer!

Mike did amazing work for our wedding photography on August 5, 2016! He also did a really cool engagement shoot back in March. We are in awe of his creativity, ability to capture special moments in candids, and the sheer amount of work, effort and time he and his assistant put in to capture special moments on our wedding day. We LOVE the photos he's shared, and I have looked at the album about 30 times already :) They are just amazing, such a special record of all the memories of a day that would be a blur, otherwise. We feel feel so lucky to have had such an artist with us on our special occasion. It's just amazing, you can see the emotion in each moment he captured. From the moment we met him at the preferred vendors at Mill Falls we knew we wanted him to be our photographer. With his charisma and passion for his work we knew we found the perfect match. My husband and I met Michael at a preferred vendor showcase at Mill Falls, we were looking for someone that was familiar with Church Landing AND winter weddings, after looking through some of Michael’s photo books it was clear that he was prefect for our wedding. It seems that he is a very busy man, yet it was never a problem to get in touch with him when we needed to. Michael made preparing for the wedding very simple by telling us exactly what we needed to do to help him keep everything organized and running smoothly the day of our wedding! Michael and his assistant very professional, friendly, fun and in control of all the photography situations, they made sure they captured all the photos we wanted of our wedding day. Also I can honestly say I’ve never seen a photographer working so hard to capture all the fun moments of the night! There were times were he was literally in the middle of the dance floor to get pictures!!!
The sneak peak of pictures that I’ve seen are absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to get the rest of the photos! Wow, what can I say! Mike and his assistant Zach were outstanding! In full disclosure Mike was my photography teacher in high school… BUT as soon as I got engaged he was no joke my first call to reserve! I knew we had to have him because of the truly out of this world work he does! I haven’t seen him in about 10 years but he made everyone so comfortable, was responsive to our changes in schedule and all I can say is WOW for the end results! I highly recommend Mike if you want a friendly photographer that takes quality photos at a reasonable price!! Plus we get the rights to them so no waiting a million years (or spending more than we have to) for our prints!

I highly recommend Michael Cirelli! The pictures from our wedding are amazing and we have received endless compliments on them! Michael was very easy to work with and he made sure everything was moving on schedule the day of the wedding. His assistant and intern that came were also great and offered to help in any way they could to make our day smoother, including pinning the flowers on the groomsmen! Not only is he very talented and fun to work with, but his turnaround time getting was extremely fast and I have so many incredible pictures of our day! Overall, we are very happy we went with him and hope to have the chance to use him again sometime in the future.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with Michael Cirelli Photography, if we could give more than five stars we would! In the months leading up to our wedding I sent Michael numerous emails with questions and always received prompt, thoughtful responses. Michael even met with us in person pre-wedding to go over our final wedding timeline and over all vision of how we wanted our wedding photographed. Day of, Michael and his partner arrived early to scope out our venue and setting to find optimal spots to shoot. They followed our photo wish list exactly and ensured that we were staying on time throughout the day. The "sneak peak" photos we have seen so far are beautiful, they really know how to capture the true feeling of a venue. Lastly, they are just fun, happy people to be around and you can tell they really love their jobs.

Michael Cirelli was absolutely amazing! He and his team showed up early to our wedding to start photographing the girls getting ready and all of the small details. He was actually so familiar with our venue and the process that he guided myself and my husband through the day. We had previously communicated with him entirely via email and skype, and he was able to show up and complete everything that we wanted from him. He and his team expertly managed our bridal party (some of whom were a bit rowdy and not entirely cooperating) and produced some amazing photo shots!! We definitely love all of our photos and recommend Michael to everyone!

We had Mike do the photography for our wedding this past summer and he was incredible. The pictures were amazing, creative and he was a lot of fun. He made sure the wedding party and I were on schedule and he ran the show for me (which I definitely needed). There were fireworks at the beach that night and he took full advantage of it and caught some very good shots. His prices were very reasonable and well worth every penny. I highly recommend Mike for weddings and plan on using him for family photos in the future. Thank you Mike for everything. You truly made our day special and caught all of our wonderful memories!

We had Mike Cirelli photograph our wedding on 5/17/14 and we are very happy we did! He was very helpful through the process of planning and kept in contact regularly. The day of the wedding, he and his assistant, Zack, were great at getting the shots we wanted in a quick manner to make everything run smoothly. I highly recommend Mike Cirelli Photography.

The one keepsake that you will hold onto forever after the flowers die, after the cake is gone, after the food is eaten and the dress is worn, is your photos. These photos become such an important memento of one of the most important days of your life. His work captured our wedding day in such a personal way. Mike has a great eye and appreciation for detail; our photos look natural, not posed, and he took some terrific candid photos of our wedding party.

If there is one thing you should spend on for your wedding, it is seeking out a gifted wedding photographer. There are very few vendors that I would recommend in a heart beat. Mike is one. He is truly amazing.

Mike is relaxed but extremely professional, talented, patient, passionate and enthusiastic.

Michael was very professional from start to finish. All of the planning with him was done via e-mail since we had a destination wedding. He made is seamless. He captured all of our moments throughout the day and when looking through our photos we were able to relive every part of the day in detail! He was not overly intrusive and did not pose us. He captured all of the tender, natural shots of us and our guests and gave us exactly what we were looking for!

Mike did such an amazing job photographing our wedding that I can hardly believe it. Before I even received our pictures, I thanked him for being so much fun to work with. He was creative, reassuring and extremely professional. We had a few wedding party members who had never been in a wedding and Mike and his assistant Zack helped make it comfortable and fun. Mike also gave me helpful hints along the way, like make sure you stand up straight all day (might seem obvious but your mind is crazy on the big day). He also was so on top of everything that we finished our wedding party pictures WAY earlier than I thought we would and we had time to actually relax on our wedding day... Crazy, right?
In the planning process Mike responded quickly to all phone calls and emails and since the wedding I have had several family members comment on what a good job he did! My reception venue was a very busy hotel and my sister told me he kept an eye out for wedding crashers (thankfully I don't believe we had any). My mother-in-law said he asked her if she wanted any special pictures taken.
Now that I have seen the pictures I am blown away!!! The details, shots from above (there were balconies in both church and venue), formal shots, fun shots... DANCING; he even caught our dip during our first dance which I forgot to tell him about. These pictures are priceless! I am so excited for our album. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend booking Michael Cirelli for your wedding and other photo needs. He is experienced, reliable, has a great personality and you won't regret it.

Michael came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator. After meeting up with him, my fiance and I knew that he was the photographer for us. We recently took our engagement photos at the Castle in the Clouds and we were not disappointed!

Ian and I are not what you call photogenic, we don't usually take a lot of photos together, but Michael really helped us come out of our shells. Almost immediately after sending out the link to the engagement photos I had friends and family contacting me, gushing about how beautiful the images were and how well our photographer captured the "love"! I cannot say how excited I am to see what moments he captures during our wedding, it's going to be breathtaking!

Mike made our engagement pictures look amazing!! He took the time to meet us down in our favorite area of Boston and spent as much time as we needed! He even made sure we were able to get down on the dock area that we wanted, he definitely went above and beyond and we were so grateful! Mike made the whole time so much fun and he was even able to capture all the photo ideas I had from pinterest perfectly. We are so lucky we found Mike to do our wedding photos. He wanted to get to know us and find out what was important to us in terms of photography, right from the start. He had worked with our venue several times, and was able to explain the process of how the day was going to go and what spots he really liked using. Mike was always quick to respond to any questions we had a long the way, and was so easy to work with. We worked together to plan all the photos we thought were important ahead of time. We really wanted some artistic photos, and he was able to give us some ideas for them. On the day of the wedding though, is where Mike truly shined. I was a little nervous about being photographed constantly (not used to the attention) and he made me feel comfortable. He was so professional the entire time, but he made it fun. Mike was so organized the day of the wedding; photos went flawlessly and without effort. He even helped us when there were vendors bombarding us with questions, and directed them to our wedding coordinator so we wouldn't get overwhelmed. It was really important to us that we got along with our photographer, because they are with you through the majority of the day. We had so much fun with Mike, we didn't want him to leave at the end of the night. Our photos came out absolutely beautiful, and we have several of the "artsy" photos we requested. He captured every moment we could have asked for, and we had some surprises where we didn't know he was capturing certain moments. The photo website he uses after the wedding made it so easy for us to share our photos with our loved ones and let them pick which ones they wanted printed. Mike got our photos to us before we even returned from our Honeymoon- we were thrilled. You can truly tell this is Mike's passion, and that he doesn't just consider it "work"- it is evident when before/during/after the wedding. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

From the minute I first spoke to Michael I knew he would be the perfect photographer for our wedding. He is kind and professional and was so easy to work with. We got a million compliments about him from our guests at the wedding. But at the end of the day what really matters is how the pictures came out... and they are perfect! He captured some of the most amazing moments from the day and all the little details that we spent months working on. Michael was an amazing photographer for both our engagement and wedding. He worked with my partner to catch our engagement on camera (much to my surprise!) and followed it up with a great engagement shoot, one of the photos which was used as our save the dates. As soon as we scheduled our wedding date, Michael was one of the first people we contacted to try to ensure that we could have him photograph our special day.

Working with him on our wedding day was amazing! He did a great job in ensuring that we got through all the formal photos quickly and efficiently so that we could enjoy the night. Throughout the night, Michael and his assistant would grab us when he saw the opportunity for a great photo (sunset, night shots, etc.) but generally blended right into the crowd. I would without a doubt recommend him to any family or friend that was getting married!

"Trash the Dress" July 2013
Working with Michael Cirelli for our “trash the dress” photos was such an amazing experience. When our second wedding anniversary was getting close, my husband and I just couldn’t think of a better way to spend our anniversary than to have Michael shoot our “trash the dress” photos!
My husband and I got married at The Chase House on Lake Winnipesaukee in 2011. We thought…what better way to “trash the dress” than to jump into the lake in full wedding attire! We went to Michael with the idea…and he ran with it! He was so enthusiastic about the whole process and was truly excited for us and excited to be a part of our experience in trashing my wedding dress! He didn’t just show up to take pictures of us jumping into the lake. He helped us come up with ideas and choreograph the whole thing so that our video and pictures were priceless. He took our small idea of jumping into the lake and turned it into a memory that will last a lifetime.
I have to thank Michael Cirelli, yet again, for another set of amazing photos. His easy going personality and kind nature make it extremely easy to work with him.
Michael also shot our first family photos as well. He has a great deal of patience for dealing with little ones, as it isn’t always easy to wait around for a smile from a one year old.
We will continue to use Michael for all of our photo needs in the future. My husband and I live in FL, but will always travel to NH to use his photography services. If you are looking for priceless photos that will capture priceless moments, Michael Cirelli is the only photographer to go to!

Michael was so great to work with. My husband and I really wanted a photographer who could relate to us and who would understand what we were hoping to capture during our special day - Michael did just that! He was fantastic to have around while getting ready with my sisters and he brought a sense of calm to the pre wedding chaos. My husband and I created a shot list before the wedding, at Michael's request, and it was fabulous how smooth that process went. Honestly, after the formal photos were done he seemed to 'blend' in to the reception - in the VERY BEST way. He was able to get tons of amazing candids without ever feeling like you were being photographed. While planning our wedding, my husband and I decided that photography was our most important piece... the part we wanted to really splurge on. After all, when all is said and done, your photos are all you have left! When meeting with Michael and seeing his work, it was an easy decision. Not only was his work incredible, but he was extremely pleasant and easygoing. When our wedding day finally came, Michael was everything we had hoped for, and more! He showed up on time and was extremely organized. He knew exactly what shots he wanted to take and where to take them. He left NOTHING out. He blended in and was never in the way... we barely knew he was there at times... which really made it fun when we saw ALL of the shots he managed to capture! AND he was SO much FUN! When all was said and done, Michael put the pictures online for us to sort through and decide which we wanted, where and how. This was the most difficult part because there really wasn't a bad picture in the mix! When we finally came to a decision and gave him the list, Michael worked his magic and we received our products. We were absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything was! We are just so pleased with Michael and his work! Two years later, we STILL show off our pictures when guests come over. We have referred him to friends and will keep doing so! We look forward seeing Michael and his amazing work!

Michael was everything we could have asked for in a photographer. During our engagement shoot, he was able to relax a very camera shy groom and give us some great shots for our save the dates. On our wedding day, he quickly moved us through our shot list so we could enjoy the beauty of our special day. From the moment Michael showed up to shoot me getting ready for the big day he made it seem effortless. He coordinated my family for me and made sure every shot I had requested was done. Michael Cirelli was fantastic to work with. Choosing a professional and talented wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions in the wedding planning process. My husband and I were referred to Mike through a friend and we could not be happier with our decision to hire him. We knew his work was amazing as we had seen pictures online and attended a wedding he photographed, but he still exceeded our expectations. During the months leading up to the wedding he was very friendly and responsive any time we had questions which immediately made us feel comfortable. Mike did an amazing job for our wedding. He sent us examples of past "shot lists" from other weddings he'd done, which was a very simple way to make sure we didn't forget the basics, and he also allowed us to include our own unique photo requests. BUT, out of all the pictures, it's the spontaneous shots he and his assistant managed to get that have become my favorites.

The best part about Mike and his assistant was that I didn't notice them. All day. They got all the shots, but thinking back, I hardly remember seeing either of them! Of course, there were a few other things on my mind :)

We receive rave reviews from everyone who has seen our photos. Truly a pleasure to work with Mike - highly recommended.
