Where do I even begin!? Mike is truly one of one!! From our engagement session to the wedding he’s made everything extremely easy, answered every question, and made our dreams come true with his work. Photography was extremely important to me, when I came across his work I was blown away. He’s a complete professional with everything he does, and is one of the main reasons our big day ran so smoothly. With never have taken professional pictures before, Mike makes you, your bridal parties, and everyone on the dance floor feel comfortable and creates an incredibly fun atmosphere. It’s truly amazing how he captures all the small and intimate moments. My friends/family are still in awe of our engagement/wedding photos. We’re so incredibly thankful for Mike, his team and everything they’ve done for us! He’s given us the most stunning photos I can’t wait to show my future kids/grandkids. I couldn’t be more thankful to have came across him during our vendor search. -

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Michael Cassara as our wedding photographer, and we cannot recommend him enough! From our very first Zoom meeting, we knew we were in great hands. Michael is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but his personality is also exactly what you want for such a special day. He’s chill, funny, and has just the right amount of energy to keep everything lighthearted and fun without ever feeling too much.
His ability to make us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera truly set him apart. He has a unique way of making the whole experience enjoyable, whether we were doing engagement photos or preparing for the big day. And, of course, the photos are absolutely stunning! We were blown away by the way he captured every moment so beautifully.

Not only does Mike capture the most gorgeous photos, but he helps create your photo timeline for the wedding day. He takes into account all the little things you want and truly listens to each one, knowing how important those little details are to his brides. I can truly say he's the best I've ever seen and my wedding party, family and friends were floored by his work. Michael is the kind of photographer that a bride dreams about. He effortlessly captures couples in a way that is so genuine to them. He was so fun and easy to be around that nothing felt staged, and the photos prove it. He has a rare ability to perfectly capture every part of the day in it's own special way. We loved having timeless romantic photos as well as party photos that have everyone still saying "your wedding looked insanely fun." Picking the right photographer was the most important thing to us and we researched options endlessly. It was worth the time because choosing Mike was the best decision we made for our wedding, hands down. If you want so many perfect photos that you don't even know where to start and professionalism that has you with zero worries... this is your guy. -

Knocked it out of the park
I don't even know where to start. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by Mike.
We knew from looking at his portfolio that we needed him to be part of our wedding. After actually speaking with him, there was no doubt he was the perfect fit for us.
Mike made sure to check in throughout the wedding planning process (whether it was emails, phone calls, etc). He communicated with our venue and Maitre D to make sure everyone was on the same page as far as timelines go.
He was the peace in the chaos and I literally didn't have to worry about certain little details because Mike was on top of everything. He is organized and efficient while still being spontaneous and goofy. He made us feel so special on the biggest day of our lives. We can't recommend him enough and we will absolutely be booking for other life events in the future! -

Choosing Mike Cassara as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. He is talented, friendly, and professional, making my husband and me feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Throughout the year and a half leading up to our destination wedding, communication was quick, easy, and smooth. He even provided many words of encouragement (he knew I was stressing!).
We had such an amazing experience at both the engagement shoots and the wedding day with Mike. His second shooter, Meredith, was amazing.
Not only is he an extremely talented photographer, but he is also a great coordinator. He kept us on the timeline, and I didn't have to worry. I knew I was in great hands. Michael was a huge factor in making our wedding day the most seamless, best day of our lives. -

Mikes photographs will melt you. They come alive when you look at them. I can think of so many ways to try and convince you of hiring him, but what it comes down, is that he *actually* creates and captures pure, candid love. It's more than just aesthetics and poses from everyone elses pinterest. Mike makes the day more magical than you thought possible. I knew I felt like I was in a living dream on my wedding day, but when you see your first few photos, it'll bring that emotion right back, even stronger than before. Without a doubt, the single best photographer you can hire. He is your hype man. Sturdy shoulder throughout the day. With unparalleled charisma. He radiates a sense of ease. You will spend much of your wedding day with or near your photographer, and trust me, he the person you want there. He's creative, cool, calm and collected, fun and passionate. I'm an extrovert, my husband is an introvert, we both couldn't get enough of Mike. Our families and guests adored him. You can tell he deeply loves his job from the second you meet him. If you care about your wedding photos, there is no better choice you can make. I'm sure of it. When I saw my first photos, my knees ACTUALLY WENT WEAK. -

This is your photographer! I found Mike through a friend. After I saw her engagement and wedding photos, I knew this was going to be my photographer for my wedding. From start to finish, Mike was professional, charismatic, and explained everything step by step. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we agreed that our photographer would be the most important vendor we booked, since pictures last a lifetime. When we came across Mike's work we were excited, and after speaking to Mike, we were sold! It's so clear that Mike not only cares tremendously about taking the most beautiful photos, but he also cares so much for his couples and making sure we were both comfortable and enjoying the day. Mike was great at communicating with us and helping us prepare for our engagement shoot and wedding day, he was up for an adventure when we asked to have our engagement shoot at a vineyard he hadn't shot at before, he was flexible in making our timeline, and he brought so much positive energy to our wedding day, all while remaining professional and getting all of the shots we asked for. We are OBSESSED with our gallery (as are our families and friends), and we are so grateful to Mike for capturing so many beautiful moments of our day. We couldn't recommend him enough!! -

We have worked with Mike since summer of 2021. He shot our engagement shoot, maternity shoot and finally our wedding on 4-5-2024. Mike is a family man and it shows. He is patient, kind, and sooo organized. He made us feel at ease during our shoots. My husband can be a bit shy in front of the camera but Mike had us cracking up. He just brings great vibes. He is easily reachable by email or text. Even with his busy schedule he would manage to carve out some time for a phone call. My wedding day felt so smooth and I strongly feel it was because of him and his team. He worked closely with us to plan the timing of everything on our big day. I did not feel rushed and I had so much fun working with him. We will miss not being so in touch with Mike since our wedding is over but we cannot wait to book a family photoshoot soon! I was about to write Mike an email thanking him for the millionth time, and I decided to share my thoughts here instead. WOW- Mike is PHENOMENAL. I truly can’t articulate how happy I am that we chose Mike to capture our day. I am going through my wedding gallery again after receiving it yesterday, and I’m in awe. The photos are absolutely stunning, and everyone we show is beyond impressed. I am re-living our day over and over through Mike’s lens, and he truly captured everything perfectly.
What’s even crazier is that the incredible gallery is the icing on the cake— Mike was a dream to work with throughout this entire process. He was there when there were bumps in the road, from the less than ideal weather on our engagement shoot to a last-minute issue with our venue. It was great to have Mike in our corner. We were thrilled with our experience from engagement shoot all the way through wedding gallery delivery. He sent us a ton of teasers within a couple of days of our wedding, and they were so good that I honestly would have even been happy if I JUST had those teasers.
I (and everyone else) can’t stop talking about how Mike was the best decision we made for the day of our wedding. He kept everything fun and running smoothly. Several people from our wedding party said they are going to choose their future wedding date based on Mike’s availability, that’s how amazing he was.
Mike is such a genuinely great human— incredible communication, organization, and professionalism. -

I first want to start out by saying we found Mike through one of our friends, he was their wedding photographer and my jaw DROPPED when I saw their photos - I knew we had to hire Mike and his team to shoot ours. Mike has been incredible to work with, the entire process of planning, coordinating and preparing for our wedding as well as our engagement shoot was thorough, seamless and enjoyable every step of the way. Mike was not only incredibly helpful, but he was accommodating and made us feel at ease throughout the entire process, even up until the very end, when we had our ceremony and reception. I don't even need to get into Mike and his second shooter, Meredith's work because it truly speaks for itself. He captured the most amazing images of my husband and I on our big day and we will cherish these pictures for years and decades to come. If you're looking for an experienced, knowledgeable photographer to capture your wedding day, I can't recommend Mike & team enough. They're true professionals in every sense of the word and you absolutely won't be disappointed. -

Truly Amazing
I don't even know where to begin. From the first moment we zoomed with Michael, I knew him and his team would be the perfect fit for us. While Mike himself wasn't available for our day, his second shooter Meredith was as part of his associate wedding package. We did an engagement shoot with Meredith and we all instantly connected. It was like having a friend take photos of you. Plus the pictures came out amazing. All throughout the process, Mike and Meredith were communicative in such a timely manner. Meredith got married at the same venue we did, and I would constantly text her asking her opinions, or advice on what she did. She was more like a friend than our wedding photographer. Our wedding day was the best day ever and a lot of it was because of Meredith and Joe. Meredith and Joe were literally so much fun the day of. They worked INCREDIBLE together, they were such an amazing duo. We threw some last minute changes in and they were more than accommodating. They were our hype team all freaking day! They were making us laugh so so much. When we wanted to add some pictures that weren't on our timeline all they kept saying was "heck yeah lets do it" And the pictures just speak for themself. They are AMAZING. I am honestly sad that that day is over and went so fast. You spend ALL DAY with your photographers, an it is so important you find people who are fun and just enjoyable to be around. -

There are no bad things I could say about Mike. He was by far one of our top vendors we chose for our wedding and we would book him over and over again. From our day one interview with him, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding and every encounter in between he was professional, responsive and just an awesome human being. As for his talent as a photographer... he is amazing. Very natural prompts that doesn't make being in front of the camera weird especially for people not used to it. We loved both engagement session and wedding day with Mike! Meredith was also awesome as a second shooter. Thank you to both of you for being a part of our special day! -

Words cannot describe how amazing of a photographer Mike truly is. After getting our engagement photos from him we knew we wanted to use him for our wedding day. From the minute we had the consultation call with Mike a year before our wedding, we knew he was the photographer for us. He is incredibly organized and has a thorough timeline that he follows in the weeks leading up to the wedding. On the big day, everything ran without a hitch, thanks to his spot-on schedule, which allowed us to capture all the essential moments - from our first look to photos with the wedding party, friends, family, and venue details.
Although we had planned for an outdoor ceremony and were excited to take photos all over the beautiful property surrounding the venue, the weather had other plans and it ended up pouring all day long. Despite our initial disappointment, we did not have a single worry about how the photos would come out and knew Mike would find a way to capture the day beautifully. Now, as we browse through the full gallery of images, we can confirm that he did not disappoint.
The photos are truly breathtaking and exceeded any and all expectations we had. Even if we could turn back time and change the weather, we wouldn't, because our wedding was simply that perfect and magical. We can't thank Mike and his team enough for capturing our special day and ensuring everything flowed so seamlessly. -

This review is long overdue. Michael captured our wedding day so flawlessly. He was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. Not only is he an extremely talented photographer, but he is like a coordinator as well. He kept us on the timeline and I didn't have an OUNCE of worry that we weren't on schedule. I cannot express how happy we were working with Michael for our engagement photos and wedding! He delivered 1000%. In my opinion, you get what you pay for! We've been to other weddings with photographers who didn't provide as much direction and it was chaos to watch. His expertise makes everything run so smoothly. We received so many compliments from family and friends on our photos and the day of that they didn't feel rushed by him! Not only do his images blow you away and make you question if that's even you in the picture, but he's a great friend to have by your side the day of. Where do I begin with Mike. He has been with me through all 3 postponements I feel like were best friends at this point. He shot our engagement shoot in 2019, our minimony in 2020 and now finally our wedding. Each and every shoot has been nothing short of INCREDIBLE!!! I swear every time he sends us the photos my jaw is on the ground. He is such a talent and if you are lucky enough to have him photograph you, you will not be disappointed. He has a vision that can make any setting incredible, trust him entirely!! Aside from his AMAZING work, Mike as a human being is a damn pleasure. I feel like I’m hanging out with my best friend. He is so personable and knows how to make anyone comfortable in front of a camera. I promise you you will not feel awkward. He has this comfort about him that puts everyone in the room at ease and actually enjoy taking pictures. I could write a book about how amazing Mike is but just look at my photos and you’ll understand, BOOK HIM ASAP!! Also, I would like to mention his second shooter Meredith because she was also such a pleasure. She worked with the groomsmen in the morning and they all loved her. 5 stars isn’t enough!
Mike is down to earth, funny, and simply one of the most talented in his field. He gets great candid and posed shots and does beautiful editing work. He has an amazing eye but also a great personality. He has a great way of keeping the day organized and getting all the crazy family, bridesmaids, small children, and even my dogs where they need to be to accomplish the shots you want. We had the pleasure of working with him for our small elopement and a year later for our big reception and every last picture is gorgeous. He has a quick turn around time and we got tons teasers each time within 2 days ! He is worth every penny! Mike was easily one of our favorite vendors. He captured the moments so beautifully and we are so grateful! -

Michael truly loves what he does and it shows in his work. He makes you feel like you've known him for years and he has so much fun behind the camera, that you immediately feel comfortable. Nothing short of amazing
From the moment we first consulted with Michael he impressed us. He responded to inquiries quickly. Our engagement shoot was so much fun and he made us feel comfortable. As our wedding day approached I changed his start time and he accommodated my requests. He helped with the flow of our ceremony and got every shot we wanted and those we didn’t know we wanted. We had teasers back in 24 hours and less than one month later I have the most amazing photos. Every single picture is amazing. -

Mike helped make my boho dream wedding come to life!
Choosing Mike Cassara as my wedding photographer was the absolute best choice I made for my wedding. He is so talented, friendly, professional and made me and my now-husband feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. He is a wealth of information and actually recommended other vendors that he's worked with in the past, when I was struggling to find a few. Our Montauk engagement session photos were included in our package and they came out gorgeous and we had so much fun!
We were originally planning to have a large wedding (250 minimum) in June 2021, which we cancelled (covid) and opted for an immediate family (16 people) ceremony at Peconic River Herb Farm and then went to dinner at Cowfish afterwards for the "reception" for the same day. Mike worked with us during these massive changes and was so accommodating and supportive. Our wedding day went without a hitch and Mike and his second shooter, Meredith, kept us on our timeline (even with a ton of moving parts) and we got all of the shots that we wanted and more!
Our photos from the wedding absolutely blew us away! My friends told me that the photos I posted online looked like they could be in Vogue! I recently ordered my wedding album and I can't get over the quality of the album and the pictures and how fast it shipped! So, if you want you and your husband to look like you could be featured in Vogue, and have an amazing human and photographer capture one of the most important days and moments of your life, I would contact Mike! -

I can't say enough good things about the experience My family had with Micheal Cassara Photography. I have 6 daughters and this is my 4th wedding so I have quite the experience with vendors. This was the 1st time I was so relaxed and happy with the style and flow of the day with the pictures. WE all had such a good time and the usual stress about getting all the important pictures was gone. The team was so professional and were never in the way and somehow captured the whole day perfectly. The pictures are so beautiful and there is no doubt who I will be using for the other weddings. I honestly don't think I will ever have the right or enough words to describe how wonderful not only Mike's work is but Mike himself.
As I am sure most are, my husband and I were not particularly familiar with taking professional photos. We were nervous and went into it thinking we would look ridiculous and very posed. We couldn't have been more wrong and we owe it all to Mike! From the beginning, he made us feel so at ease and made us laugh throughout our whole time together. He is kind, attentive and brilliant at what he does. Everyone that attended our wedding commented on how easy he was to work with.
If you have seen any of Mike's photos, you know his work speaks for itself. Our photos are absolutely beautiful. He captured moments of our special day we didn't even realize were so important to us. Photography is such an important piece of your wedding day and I truly can't begin to explain what it means to have our wedding pictured the way it was. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing you can trust such a huge part of your day in capable hands. I can't thank him enough and will certainly be working with him and only him in the future.

Mike is truly the best!!
Mike really is the BEST. We postponed our wedding THREE times due to Covid and throughout it all Mike was reliable, responsive, and so supportive. He really jumped through hoops to make it work. When it came to the day of, we loved having Mike and 2nd shooter there. They were fun and positive and our bridal party/family raved how nice and easy they were to work with. Mike was so communicative and prepped us so well for the day of so we had no doubt he would capture everything we wanted and he DEFINITELY delivered. He made sure every photo we wanted was crossed off our list and even was able to capture some cool photos the day of that we hadn't thought of but didn't take us away from the party. I can't recommend Mike enough. I also highly recommend doing an engagement shoot with him. It was a great way to get to know him before our wedding day and we were able to get some amazing pictures from that too. We will definitely be working with Mike for all of our big events in the future! -

Mike is the absolute BEST!!
Mike was one of the first vendors we booked after getting engaged in 2018. Due to covid, we had to reschedule our Sep 2020 wedding to Sep 2021. Sept is undoubtedly one of the busiest months for weddings. On top of that, 2021 had many of the weddings of 2020 plus those originally scheduled for 2021. Mike was beyond accommodating with our postponement and continued to check in the months leading up to the wedding. You would’ve never thought this was the busiest year yet; Mike’s communication was always on point. We got our pictures back quickly and we’ve gotten nonstop compliments on them. I’m so happy we chose Mike to capture our day so beautifully. -

Easy planning and excellent results
Working with Mike from the beginning was a breeze! He is very easy-going and detailed oriented. He accommodated us when the pandemic impacted our wedding, changing our engagement shoot to our elopement - no questions asked. His detailed nature allows you to think about the other 1000 things - he has guides including color palettes for your shoots, suggested props for the detailed shots, etc. His photos truly capture the essence of the event with all the emotion, all while feeing like he is a fly on the wall and never in the way. I would recommend him 100x over! -

IF YOU ARE IN SEARCH FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER, LOOK NO FURTHER, HIRE MICHAEL CASSARA!! Photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding for me so I wanted to make sure I chose the perfect vendor and I can honestly say that I did. Mike is truly amazing, there are no words to even describe how happy I am he was available for our date and captured our day. It was the best feeling knowing that I had an incredible photographer and wouldn’t have to stress about liking my photos. Our package included an engagement session so I just knew by our photos and Mike’s personality that he was perfect for us. I initially booked him because of his incredible work and photography style but honestly he is so much more than his amazing photography. I learned during the planning process that choosing a vendor is so much more then them doing a good job, it’s their professionalism, personality, punctuality. And mike is all of that! I honestly believe that our wedding ran so smoothly because of him. He was kind of like our wedding coordinator for the day. He offered honest advice, helped calm me in stressful times, and kept us right on time! If it wasn’t for him, our day would not have been as perfect as it was. He knew exactly what to do to keep us all on task and all on time which I was honestly worried about with having a large bridal party and big families, but we were exactly on time!! He was just so efficient and organized which is so important to me because I am the same way! He had a check list in his phone of all the shots with family I requested and made sure that I got all of them which I was so happy about. He also sent me a couple teasers literally THE NIGHT OF OUR WEDDING, who does that !!! And about 60 teasers the Tuesday after our wedding (we got married on a Friday) His personality was just amazing and all of my bridal party and family loved him! He was so positive and funny! When we were doing a confetti shot, we literally COVERED him, I mean COVERED in glitter confetti and he just rolled with it and laughed about which just shows the type of person he is. He also literally helped carry me when I almost passed out taking pictures at Planting Fields. He remained calm, gave me his chocolate covered almonds and was just so kind & helpful in such a scary situation. I honestly feel like Michael is a friend after our planning process and wedding. I truly cannot recommend Michael Cassara enough to anyone, I am already planning on using him again for another session because he is truly that amazing! -

Magical Photography
Mike is the best! We booked Michael Cassara Photography in August of 2018 and finally had our wedding July 24, 2021, so we have been working with him for such a long time that it feels like he is part of our family. Mike shot our engagement photos at gorgeous Hecksher State Park and was so much fun. It started raining right when we arrived, and Mike assured us that the photos would still turn out beautiful. He was absolutely right! When taking your pictures, Mike makes you laugh and pumps you up the whole time, yelling things like "you're killing it" and "yes wow gorgeous." When we had to postpone our wedding because of covid, Mike was really easy to work with and rebooked us no problem. We asked if he could come to our small ceremony on our original date, and he made our photos in a local park look like we had eloped in a magical forest. At our "big wedding," Mike and his second shooter Mira were fantastic. Mira was great at making sure everyone was in the right place, getting gnats out of the layers of my dress, and making my veil look great in the pictures. Mike is incredible with lighting, posing, and making everyone feel comfortable. I sent him about 20 photos I had saved on my Pinterest board, and he made them all happen with his own creative spin. He knew I wanted sunset pictures, and watched the sun and grabbed us to go outside so we wouldn't miss it. Mike sent us 60 teaser photos two days after our wedding, which were all AMAZING. When I saw the picture he took of our sparkler exit, I gasped and told my husband that we had peaked and would never in our lives take another picture as good as that one. I will be hiring Mike to take pictures of every other big life event of ours, because he is that good. My mom and dad are just as obsessed with him too.
Mike is affordable and unlike many other photographers we looked into, includes a full day in his package (important if you want your photographer at the hotel for getting ready photos in morning and to stay until your exit-Mike was with us from 11am to 11pm). He also includes a second shooter (great if you're doing a first look), a photo album for you and 2 parent albums, thank you cards, and prints! If you hire Michael Cassara Photography for your wedding, I guarantee you will be blown away. -

Best Wedding Photographer
After stumbling upon Mike's page by chance I couldn't be luckier having him by our side as our wedding photographer during the rollercoaster that is 2020. Unlike some vendors he made the postponing and new date booking process seamless. His pictures quite honestly speak for themselves as beautiful works of art. My 2020 wedding might not be like others since we had under 50 guests but I kept Mike on his toes and asked to take a few photos at Dunkin' since its my go to place for coffee and I needed it before my long wedding day. He worked quickly/efficiently to get my getting ready photos/with my bridesmaids and then we all drove to a local Dunkin for some pics. His pics were so great, we ended up on Dunkin's social media page! I could not be more pleased with my experience with Mike and how easy going yet professional he is. Like so many couples this year, we had to change our original wedding plans due to COVID-19. Honestly, it was a blessing in disguise because now we were able to have Michael capture our day! From the moment we met him we knew we had to book him. His personality made us so comfortable in front of the camera and the photos he took of us are truly breathtaking. Michael was so flexible with start times and locations, making the minute changes stress free. The day of the wedding was more than we could have ever imagined, Michael made sure everything went smoothly and somehow managed our crazy large family. We honestly can't believe how amazing our wedding photos are. Every single one of them is breathtaking and truly captures all of our emotions of the day. Turn around for our complete edited photos was phenomenal. Less than 2 months and we have everything back and edited right in time for the holidays! Our only regret is that he's not available next year for our wedding reception! Wedding planning is hard, especially during a pandemic, but Michael made everything so easy and magical. Absolute Perfection
Mike is such a professional. I was relying on him to really capture the most important day of our lives, and he was nothing short of that. Constant communication from him. He was able to work with our tight budget. His style of photography is all about the candids and natural lighting. I was crossing my fingers for his availability and was lucky enough to be his first wedding of the year (Jan). He is super talented, and you need to inquire!!! He also has a calming personality, that makes it easier to work with when you have a rowdy bridal party! Hire Mike as your photographer right now! We were lucky enough to have Mike as our photographer for our wedding. It was an amazing experience from the initial consultation to the final album session. The Absolute Best!
From the second we started the process with Mike in September of 2018 he made everything so easy and smooth. My now-husband and I got engaged in August and pretty quickly knew we wanted Mike to shoot our wedding. Within a day of reaching out to him, he had gotten back to me and set up a meeting with us to go over everything we needed to know so there were no surprises. He was thorough and accommodating and we booked right then. A few weeks later we had our engagement shoot and what I thought was going to be the worst (because it rained) turned out to be my most favorite pictures. The whole time Mike told us not to worry and even got my husband to smile! That night he sent us back teasers before we even got home! From then on I knew we made the perfect choice. Months and weeks leading up to our October 2019 wedding I would text him a million questions and he would get back to me within minutes always putting me at ease. The day of was amazing. He got to our venue early in the afternoon to take photos of my bridesmaids and I getting ready and detail shots and the whole time making sure I was okay and asking how things were going. I didn't have to think about a thing because he was so on top of everything. When it came time for bridal party photos I was nervous because our group isn't the easiest and it honestly felt like no time had gone by. Same goes for our family formal photos. He got every shot I knew I wanted and even shots I didn't even think of.
I honestly can not say this enough that he is the perfect person to shoot your engagement, wedding or family photos. The nices and most talented guy I have ever met and was easily the best person to work with on my wedding. -

Mike is everything you could ever expect from your wedding photographer: he is talented, reliable, punctual, organized, communicative, professional AND also everything you couldn’t hope to expect from your wedding photographer: he is funny, personable, patient, helpful and super generous with his time.
We hired Mike after seeing our cousins’ wedding photos (which he took) because we loved his warm, subtle color palette and the way he captures the little moments, expressions, and gestures. His prices are extremely reasonable given his incredible talent, especially when you consider everything you get: from the engagement session to the album session to the thank you cards. We didn’t think a photography package that included an album was even going to fit into our budget but, with Mike, it did!
Working with Mike was seamless. He is super responsive and an excellent communicator. He gave us great advice on everything including things no one else thought of like putting my engagement ring on my right hand before our ceremony. He is also always up for an adventure or to try something out of the box. Mike is not only a talented photographer and a fun, calming presence to have around you on your wedding day, he also clearly loves what he does and wants you to be thrilled with your photos.
Our pictures came out so much better than we could have imagined! Best of the best
After booking our venue and securing our wedding date, my husband and I turned our search towards a photographer. If there was anything we agreed on during the wedding planning process it was having a beautiful venue and stunning photos. From our first meeting with Mike, we absolutely knew he was our photographer. Meeting with him felt like meeting with a friend. He was so personable, genuine, confident and not to mention, incredibly talented. He did not push us to book with him, in fact, he encouraged us to meet with other photographers because he said we would know when we found the photographer. Well, we already knew we had met the photographer. At our engagement photo shoot we got to see him work his magic. He had us laughing the entire time (because my husband constantly over thinks his smile this was super important). The almost three hours we spent with him at sunrise flew by. I was amazed how comfortable we felt posing in front of him and afterwards the photos spoke for themselves they were incredible.
Then came our wedding day. The minute Mike walked into my parents house, where I was getting ready, I breathed a sigh of relief. He handled absolutely everything. I didn’t have to tell him what photos to take he knew. When I needed direction he provided it and best of all he let things happen naturally and captured beautiful, candid photos of the most genuine moments. Our wedding day brought sunshine and high winds and he embraced every aspect. He caught my cathedral veil when it flew off in the wind, taught me “the bride walk” or how to loop the train of my dress around my arm, and pushed my husband and I to be “epic” and pose on top of a jetty with waves crashing around us. He kept my husband and I, our bridal party, and our families laughing through all the photos. He was quick and efficient. When we got to our reception I could barely tell he was there but he most definitely was out there on the dance floor with us capturing every signature dance move. At the end of the night, I was sad saying good-bye to him because he truly was such a significant part of our wedding day.
Although I know I am biased, the photos Mike delivered of our wedding day are nothing short of BREATHTAKING and BRILLIANT. The photos are so intimate, personal and full of emotion. They are everything we could have wanted and more. His photos tell the story of our fairytale wedding day and my husband and I are forever grateful. I cannot recommend a vendor more than Mike Cassara he is truly such a talented photographer and a special person.

As soon as my wife and I met with Mike, we knew instantly that he would be perfect for capturing our day. As soon as we left our engagement session, my then fiancé and I looked at each other and said, “We have to use Michael for the wedding.” This was before we even saw the photos! Michael made us feel so comfortable, even with the crazy wind there was that day. Turns out, the photos were absolutely breath taking and we had made the right decision. They truly felt like a part of our party. Even leading up to the wedding, Michael was always available to answer my questions within 24 hours, most of the time, the same day! I loved how Michael made my husband and I a part of the wedding album creation. When I asked Michael for a special wedding album detail that he doesn’t typically do, he accommodated me without hesitation. There is not one negative thing I could say about our experience with Michael Cassara from engagement session all the way to the post-wedding photo album session. He did a great job keeping our bridal party in line and getting all of our pictures done so we could get into our cocktail hour. Our engagement photos, as is all his work, our the best we've ever seen!!! He made us comfortable (because I hate taking pictures) and made us laugh. We STILL get complements on our engagement photos. His turn around time is amazing!! We got our pictures back within two weeks of our wedding!
